It started with a student fight around lunchtime, involving at least six kids. School staff managed to break that up, but the drama wasn't over. An hour later, after classes were done, things escalated outside the school. Family members of the students who were fighting got into their own brawl right there on Parkway Drive. It sounds like a real mess. When the school resource officer tried to step in and detain one of the adults, she apparently resisted. The police report says she struggled and had to be taken to the ground to be taken into custody. She was arrested for obstruction. Then, during the whole investigation, a child was also arrested. They were involved in the fight and allegedly assaulted a school staff member. That kid was booked and then released to their parents. Thankfully, nobody got seriously hurt in either fight and no weapons were involved.
