Holmes Dominates Iditarod, Drobny Close Behind

This marks his fifth award on the trail, the Ryan Air Gold Coast Award, which came with a carved, loon artwork and $2,500 in gold nuggets. Holmes, who won last year in 2025, keeps pulling ahead of the pack. He's showing no signs of slowing down as he eyes another victory. His team looks strong, heading up Alaska's west coast. Holmes stays driven by the sports legends. He talks about completing all the race routes in three years, and chasing records like three straight wins, shared by just a few grates including lands.
