Well, my problem today is I have beta max cassettes that a sea captain that I worked with had taken a lot of interesting film of towing oil rigs and support barges all over the world. What year was beta max big? I think it was big in the 80s, but I don't think it ever really got big. He had money so he wanted to buy the best and he bought a really good recorder camera. And he bought 750 and L500 tapes and he stretched them out to where each tape is three to four hours.

3:08I actually watched a YouTube documentary about the battle versus beta max and VHS. Oh, the porn industry made it go to VHS. It's actually part of it because VHS was cheaper. Yes. It doesn't matter, but beta max was the quality, but knowing care about quality was mass production. And that's what one over. Yes, the porn industry. We don't have to keep saying porn industry. I'm just telling you, that's what I had won. I mean, you want to say it's because of tech and everything else, but anyway, I'm sorry, Roger. We've digress. So, so you would, so you have all how many of these do you have? I've got six. And then I take it, you want to bring them into now what's what we call the digital age. Correct. That's correct. Here's my question. Just a sidebar question, Roger. How many times have you moved since 1980? Myself, I've moved maybe six, seven times. Seven times. You had to take those beta maxes.

4:09These are my friends tapes. Oh, okay. And I worked with the thing was Don. Don has lived in the same spot down by Quincy, Illinois for 75, 80 years. Okay. So, I'm helping him get me some. Okay, got it. Because I have a football and I have audio cassettes of when I went to radio school. And I've moved like 11 times. And I carry them and every time I go, what am I going to do? I can't throw them away. Right back in the foot lock. Well, there's called Odyssey, right? I know, but I don't want to listen to myself. 20 years ago. So, you got a couple of options. I, memories is a company that will take that and then digitize it for you. I've talked to a lot of other companies, but what they tell me is because of beta, it's more difficult. And the fact that you stretched it out, you slow motion or slow the time down to where you can get more information on the tapes, more footage. Have you talked to, have you talked to capture?

5:10I've not talked to capture. I want to talk to capture. I don't know if Legacy Box will do it. If I memory doesn't, yeah, if I'm members in that Legacy Box, I want to do it either. Look at capture. Now, your other option for you to do this is that you go on eBay, you buy a beta max player, you hook it up and you record it that way using your phone. I know you left, but that's what people are doing. No, I just looked at eBay this morning. Oh, did it? Like $250 bucks. I tried it out. One that looked really good was like $350 bucks. But Kim said it once you're done with it, go back to your cell. How many tapes then you just resell it? Yeah. You put, you, you use it and you, you use it. You keep all the packing material. You get everything all done and then you put that sucker back on eBay. Even if you got to pay a couple of fees, it's like you're renting it. That's it. That's all you got to do. Okay, smarty pants. I know that you need more tips like this because you want to stay ahead of the tech curve, but as they like to say on infomercials, but wait, there's more. This is really fun.
