Hometown Hero Signs with Titans

On March 18th, a Lontai Taylor, a cornerback for Manchester Tennessee, has signed a deal

with the Tennessee Titans after four seasons with the new, Orlean Saints.

The six-foot one-player started a coffee county central high school and the University

of Tennessee before entering the league.

Growing up 60 miles from Nashville, he chased his dreams from a small town, and now returns

home to play professional football.

Taylor brings solid experience with 64 games played and 53 starts under his belt.

Over his career, he has 293 tackles, four interceptions, seven sacks, and 52 passes

defense.

In the past three years, he appeared in all 17 games each season, starting 44 of them

while adding more tackles and picks.

Fans and family back in Manchester are thrilled with the homecoming.

Taylor attended his first Titans game as a high school junior and always kept an eye

on the team.

Now, his phone and social media are buzzing with support, making the move feel extra special

after years away.

He is eager to join new head coach Robert Salah, praising the coach's defensive schemes.
