I always forget about the disclaimer.
I mean, that man is a creeps in and starts talking.
Jimmy Hart, the mouth of the South is going to join us in about 15 minutes to promote
and discuss Hulk Hogan, the docuseries coming out on Netflix, four-part series, Izzy.
I am told the Atlanta Hawks and the Knicks, now it's interesting because we have two more
play-in games tonight that we have to wait a week for this play-in tournament before
we get to the actual playoffs, it drives me absolutely crazy.
But I am told here that the Knicks and the Hawks, which is a series, I think most people
of all the first round series, maybe Denver, Minnesota, Knicks Hawks, or the two series
people are most looking forward to, I would put Oklahoma City and Golden State in that
category if Golden State could win the play-in game tonight, just want to see what
Steph does against SGA.
But I am told that the Hawks are talking a little bit of smack as they head into this
Knicks series.
And the Knicks, I'm telling you right now, I said this earlier in the podcast, Jalen
Brunson, better get to an NBA final.
I know no one's going to go after Jalen Brunson, I'm telling Jalen Brunson right now.
If you don't get to the NBA finals, I'm going to start going after Jalen Brunson.
How about that?
I'm sure he's shaking in his boots right now, putting all the pressure on Jalen.
But there is one, I don't know if it's all the Hawks, there's one particular Atlanta
Hawks who said something, I'm going to have Taylor Reed what he said to you, but after
he reads it, I want you to guess which Atlanta Hawks said that, is that cool too?
Yes, yes, he does that.
So a Hawks was asked, how important is it to get Game 1 Saturday?
And then said Hawks said, I think it's very important to hit him in the mouth.
Wow, all right, so I thought there was a little bit more to that, was that it?
The added context is this hawk was a pacer last year's stew, and then they're asking
about the pacer's winning Game 1 on the Howell Burton shot last year, and he said the reporter
asked, did you sense the mix were demoralized after Game 1 last year?
And this player said, oh, for sure.
So it has to be someone good, and just because Taylor said he was on the pacer's last year,
you would think that would be a big clue for me, it's not, I have no idea who was on
the pacer's last year, other than Howell Burton, and Nemhaward or something like that.
So I can tell you it's neither of those two.
Okay, so it's going to have to be someone good, Trey Young is no longer there, I am just
learning that CJ McCollum is on the hawks, but I know CJ, he doesn't talk like that.
Right, I'm going to guess Jalen Johnson, that's the, well, wait, was he a pacer?
No, he was not, but you know what, that's a fine guess, it was not Jalen Johnson, you
can keep guessing, but we're not going to have enough time in the day, because you'll
never get it.
It was, are you ready for this?
Yeah.
Tony Bradley.
Oh, an actual UNC Tar Heal, which is, this is how I knew that I really checked out on
college basketball for a few years, because I used to know every single Tar Heal that's
in the NBA, and that's stuck in a Tony Bradley that I'd never heard about.
And now he's sitting here talking smack to the New York Knicks.
Well, to be fair, to you, is he?
Tony Bradley played one season at North Carolina, the year that they won the title in 2017,
he was a, I'm pretty sure he was a five star recruit, but he came off the bench for
them that season.
He was like the six or seven fan.
If you're the Hawks coach, that's the last guy, and I don't know who the Hawks coach
is, but if you are the Hawks coach, um, quid's night, or that's right, I was trying to
get him on.
Uh, if you are the Hawks coach, though, that's the last guy you want to say in anything,
right?
I mean, anybody who, first of all, if you're the six seed in this situation and you're
the Hawks who haven't been in the playoffs since three young did his whole dice thing
or whatever that was, or was that during the regular season?
Anyway, you should not be talking smack if you are the Atlanta Hawks in general.
Now, you could argue that maybe that is very tame as it, as it pertains to snack,
smack talk, but you also got to be careful who you are.
Like, you know, anything is going to set off somebody, right?
You could use anything as motivation.
Just don't give them anything, especially if you're Tony Brett.
It's the last guy you want if you're the Hawks coach, quid's Snyder.
Um, is he?
Why were you telling me earlier that con canipal gets too much love?
I love con canipal and con canipal.
Everybody loves them.
Some con canipal and I'm not saying he doesn't deserve some of the love,
but it's driving me crazy.
The conversation, all the votes are in whatever as of today,
driving me crazy.
This conversation for rookie of the year, I saw Tim Bontemps said that he voted for Cooper
Flag, but had a very difficult time with it.
And I'm just like, why?
I mean, if you voted for the right person, why do you have a difficult time with it?
Well, the team wasn't very good.
Cooper's great.
The team wasn't very good.
So, but this is what bugs me.
It's rookie of the year.
So Dremont Green said, when did winning stop mattering?
It never mattered in rookie of the year.
Never taken from an old head right here who was voted for years back in the day.
Winning never mattered for rookie of the year.
Let me just say this about Dremont Green, okay?
He's lived the charmed NBA life.
He landed on the right team with the right guys, splash brothers,
right coach and Steve Kerr, and won a bunch of championships.
If he played on the wizard, Dremont, we wouldn't know his name, okay?
How about that?
That's that's very true.
Very true.
Also Ricardo with a great nickname for con.
Kinepple Kingcon.
Fantastic.
We're going to have to use that for the rest of time.
But yeah, it is, it's never winning has never mattered when it comes to rookie of the year.
What you want to see from a rookie is just his ability and him putting it on to the court.
And the Mavericks weren't tanking and they were utilizing him as their main option,
of course, as their number one guy, but what else are they going to go to?
Like that wasn't something just to boost his numbers.
And if you watch or study his tape, so I'm sure you're going to do so from the beginning
of the year to the end of the year, Cooper got so much better and then was just handing
guys, handing teams 40 and 50.
And so con.
Kinepple never had that level of responsibility and would probably look awful if we were to
give him that level of responsibility this year.
So there's just no chance that cons rookie of the year.
Great second option.
Great, you know, number two in the voting, probably in all likelihood.
And you know, all for rookie first team, but get out here with the I had a hard time.
Cooper flag should be rookie of the year.
The winds don't have anything to do with it.
And again, they weren't tanking per se.
That team was just putting people out there and losing the only thing I'll say
in Kinepple's defense is the Hornets are a lot better.
Same players.
They added him and the Hornets appear to be a lot better and have made the playoffs.
You're at least the playing game and con.
Kinepples, a big part of that.
That's all they added him.
They also at, you know, they get miles bridges back at a good, you know, condition, right?
You good conditioning.
And you've got there's a couple of new guys that they have other rookies.
It wasn't just one guy changing the team.
Stu, I just found this stat going back to the Knicks for a second where I'm now declaring tomorrow's game.
Game one, a must win for the next.
Oh boy.
She's doing over there.
Okay.
You got punch them in the mouth.
Yeah.
What happened?
The Knicks have never won a series when losing game one at home.
They've never won a series where they've lost game one at home.
It's a lot of important game of the series.
Most important game ever.
Yes.
Yes.
Stu, now you can see the urgency for this series.
This has to be a must win.
Now we know why the guy who played in the end of last year said what he said, Tony Bradley.
Is that who he is?
I mean, that's why he said it.
He knows.
Yes.
Stu, if we open the show on Monday and we say, who was the player who played on the Pacers last year that said something on the Hawks this year?
What are the chances that you would remember Tony Bradley 48 hours from now?
That's a great question.
It really is.
I'll leave the show with that on Monday, by the way.
I feel confident now.
So I'll say, this is me being confident.
Maybe it's 25% chance.
I'll remember.
Confident.
This is me and Max confidence though.
Okay.

What a smile this man's face brought to me.
Seriously, just seeing his face brings me back to my childhood.
Jimmy, the mouth of the South Hart, Hulk's longtime manager and closest friend throughout his career.
Real American on Netflix comes out on April 22nd.
It's a four-part docu-series.
I was talking to Jimmy right before we started.
And he went right into manager mode, right into promotional mode, because that's all he does.
It was unbelievable, Jimmy. It really was. Thank you.
Hey, that's my life. That's what I've always done.
You know, music and of course we're asking, you know, are wrestling and music.
So it's all been great, man. Thank you all for having us on.
Thank you, man. You're at where are you right now?
Las Vegas, man. We're right here at the MGM grand.
We've got all the rooms fixed up.
We got over six or 700 people here from the office and everything.
Celebrities, stars, surprises.
So it's going to be a great, great, great WrestleMania these next couple of days.
Jimmy, what can you tell people about Real American on Netflix?
Again, it comes out April 22nd.
It's a four-part docu-series.
It's the definitive documentary on your friend.
One of your best friends, Hulk Hogan.
What can you tell people about it to get him excited for it?
Well, we got a little taste of it last night.
Seven months in the making, believe it or not.
But we had a little taste of it last night for all the fans here at WrestleWorld
and Triple H even came out.
And they unveiled a great, beautiful brand new statue of the Hulkster.
To go next Andre the Giant when we put a hall of fame together.
But I got to see an hour of one of the episodes and it was phenomenal.
I couldn't believe how great Netflix the company has really jumped in
and put this whole thing together.
And plus, it's the last interview that Hulk really ever did, you know?
Yeah.
Can you talk about Hulk and what he meant to wrestling and the growth of wrestling?
Wow, you know, people always say,
how do you become friends?
And we started in Memphis Tennessee together with Jerry the King of Lauder
and the local wrestling territory many, many years ago.
But I realized back then, if you want to stay with Hulk,
Hulk and I've been friends for so many years because I never borrowed money from him
and I always told him the truth when he asked me something,
even though I put a little bit of sugar on it.
How many people were reaching?
How many people were reaching in the Hulk's pockets trying to grab money?
Oh my gosh, man, every time he reached for his billphone,
he found somebody's hand back there.
It was crazy.
You know how to use this with any kind of celebrities, you know?
Hey, what have you done for me lately?
You know, whatever.
So it's all crazy.
But Hulk always tried to help him out.
We have a few of our wrestling fans that have fallen by the wayside financial
a little bit, but they'd always called Hulk for it.
Hulk would always give them the money.
And we'll give it back to you, Hulk, but Hulk never asked for it.
And they never asked to give it back.
But it made him happy.
That was okay.
Jimmy, when you reach that level of fame,
was it tougher Hulk to separate where Hulk Hogan,
the character ends and where Terry, the person kind of began?
You know, no, he was really always on.
He believed that the old thing is, you know, if you turned down one,
you could sign 500 autographs, but if you turned down one,
that's the one that'll be on the internet.
That's the one to be going, Hulk Hogan, you signed my autograph.
They better go, well, you hate Hulk because he didn't sign the little kids autograph.
You know, but they forget you're there for five or six hours doing stuff.
And so we just get out there all the time.
But we try to make sure that everybody that came out
got a chance to have an autograph by the Hulk.
Or sometimes it couldn't work out because we were in,
you know, we had an X amount of time for one place
and they scooted everybody off to another place, you know.
But he tried to do the best he could while he could.
But, you know, 99% of the people loved him.
And that's, you know, that's all you can do.
You can't please everyone.
So you got to please yourself, right?
Yes, sir.
Jimmy, what's the biggest misperception about Hulk Hogan
that you would like to kind of clear up here?
Oh, the first thing.
I'll tell you right off the bat.
When we did, we were out in California doing one of the RAWs, I believe.
And we came back out and Hulk got booed.
You know, he said, Jimmy, heart someone had got booed.
He wore that stupid jacket.
I said, no, it wasn't me.
But what happened?
We're, we're state red state.
Okay.
So once we got out of the van, some kids were there going,
we love you, Hulk.
But, but you love Donald Trump.
You know, so we knew we were in trouble.
And he did some pre-interviews with Trump,
Vance T-shirt on, you know.
And so we knew what was going to happen.
So once that happened, but then everybody picked up on it going,
oh, his career is over.
Why would the people booing him for?
Come on, are you stupid?
Of course, he was being booed.
Because of his affiliation with Donald Trump.
But Hulk didn't mind.
That's just the way it was, you know.
But that's what really happened on top of it.
But for some reason, every time we do an interview,
people want to say, no, I'm sure.
Because the next night we're in Dallas, Texas,
everybody loved him.
You know, and me.
I just kept waving the flag, man.
I was like, I felt like I was with the heart foundation
against the British Bulldogs.
Bringing me back to the 80s, man.
Thank you.
I'm out of me.
Still, I was watching the trailer for the docuseries
that is about to come out.
And the staple for any documentary to show how hard you partied
in the 90s, Dennis Rodman.
Dennis Rodman was featured in the trailer.
Jimmy, how hard?
How hard did you, Hulk Hogan, Dennis Rodman,
all those guys kind of party in the 90s?
Well, I'll be honest with you.
I was a designated driver because I don't even,
I don't, not that they did, but I don't even drink.
I don't even do drugs.
I'm like, see, I'm punk.
Both of us were squeaky clean on that.
But, uh, but, uh, you know, Dennis,
when he was playing with the Bulls,
and we had him for the NWO down there,
uh, the coach of the Bulls kept calling going,
worse, Dennis.
Where's Dennis?
He missed practice.
He should be there, you know?
And of course, Hulk would talk to him and go,
we'll have him there.
We're having there.
And I think the day, the day on their first game,
Dennis came back in there and practiced with him,
but they were worried he wasn't going to show up for it.
Because he loved wrestling, you know?
He really did.
But, uh, it turned out great.
It all worked out with the NWO.
It sure did.
Uh, did Hulk ever party with Andre the Giants?
Oh, in Japan, because you had to be good with Andre
if you didn't.
Woo.
But you were in trouble.
I made sure on all the dressing rooms that Andre was in
with me.
The first thing I do as soon as I got the building.
Hey, Andre, do you need anything?
No, boss.
Okay.
Thank you.
You know, but, um, I made sure we wanted to stay in good
with not, but Andre was a sweetheart.
He was great.
In terms of wrestlers, Jimmy,
who was Hulk closest with?
I think Andre.
He loved Andre.
He loved Randy Savage.
Him and Randy.
And there's a big thing out there that him and Randy hated
each other toward the end.
No, no, no.
That's, that's so stupid.
You know, they weren't going to have a big barbecue right
before Randy a couple of days before Randy, you know,
had the wreck, unfortunately.
But they had saw each other at one of the doctor's offices.
Hulk was arrogant.
His back worked on it.
I think Randy was there because he brought his mother
or somebody in.
But, uh, but, uh, that's kind of a myth on that.
But he loved Roddy Roddy Piper.
He loved Andre, of course.
And, uh, there was, you know, a lot of times we'd have
big, uh, get together back in the early days of wrestling.
Oh, one of Hulk's beach houses.
And everybody came out.
He had to have the boats out and, and just, uh,
just everybody had a great time doing that.
Jimmy, I'm, I'm new-ish to the sports talk game.
But I see a lot of similarities between WWE and sports talk
hosts with the ability to cut a promo or give a,
a hot take when it comes to sports.
Well, how are you, Jimmy, right now to co-host the show
with me, Taylor?
I'm telling you, the guy is good, man.
Seriously.
He's the mouth of the South.
I mean, Jimmy, what would be your best tips for somebody who,
who maybe lacks a little confidence, but has to be able to
turn a switch?
Yes.
He's talking about himself, Jimmy.
You know what?
But you're right about the host, because look at Pat McAfee.
Look at Stephen A Smith.
All these guys are really uptempo over the top doing stuff.
But people like that.
I'm sure the ratings are great.
Or they wouldn't be on the air doing it.
But, um, you know what?
It's just, I think if you're just me yourself,
the people always ask me, Jimmy, why do you always dress colorful?
Because back in the early days, when I had my group, the gentries back then,
we had a million of Sunday call, keep on dancing.
We did all the tours with Dick Clark.
We were on, we were kind of the opening out for Chicago or the grassroots
or stepping wolf or the beach boys.
We did a lot of stuff with the beach boys back then with Dick Clark promotion.
Dick Clark pulled us into a room one night.
And that's what he said.
He said, well, you're on that stage.
Remember one thing.
Give the people their money's worth.
If you dress like the audience,
one day you're going to wind up sitting in the audience.
So I always remember that.
So when I went into WWE or Memphis championship wrestling or WCW,
I always wore the crazy wild jackets.
You know, because I always remember what Dick Clark had told me.
Jimmy, did Hulk ever tell you about the, uh, the George Foreman grill story?
Did he ever tell you that story?
Oh, yeah.
He told me that too.
But, uh, let me tell you the real story on that.
So, okay.
I'm going to tell the real story.
I love you, but here I go.
All right, but before you do that, Jimmy, I just want to tell you,
he came on our show and he told us that his agent was called,
they had the same agent.
He called Hulk first for the grill, okay?
Hulk was in home.
There were no cell phones at the time.
So naturally he had to go to the next client.
The next client was George Foreman.
He got the grill.
Hulk got a blender.
Go ahead.
That's a great story.
I like that.
I've heard that too.
But here's a deal.
Hulk always went for the money up front.
Yes.
And a smaller percentage because he believes sometimes when you'd get involved with a company,
sometimes they don't promote and whatever they have don't sell.
And all of a sudden you fight trying to get your money out for bigger percentage.
So, Hulk, there was a bigger percentage on the money that it was than the grill that was put out.
So, Hulk went the front money up front and a small percentage on the back.
That's what really happened.
Oh, wow.
Does he regret it?
Did he regret it?
No, not really because Hulk made millions of dollars without the grill.
You know, he was never going to be the best chef on a wrestling show, you know.
So, he never did forget it.
He regret it.
And plus we have made good friends with George Foreman.
He's a lot of stuff for us too.
Jimmy, would you say Hulk Hogan is the most important wrestling figure of all time?
Well, you know what?
To me, I would say that.
But here's what I'm, to me, there's like a top five.
You know, there's Hulk, of course, and look, John Cena, look what he did.
Look at the rock.
Look at Stone Cold.
Look at Triple H.
What he's doing now and what he did in the ring.
Sean Michaels.
There's just so many of them.
If you leave any amount, I'm the undertaker.
Look what he's done for the business.
There's just so many guys that are so important to this business that are around.
The rock, of course.
But Hulk was one of the first ones there.
But if you watch the shows now, everybody's kind of on the same level.
Yes.
I think everybody realized if I put everything I've got into one star, if he gets hurt,
a quits or leaves or goes to the movies or whatever, we're in trouble, brother.
So that's why you see it like it is now.
What's the best Hogan match you've ever been involved with?
Ooh, that's a good question.
You know, I still like, I love, I was, I was lucky enough to be part of WrestleMania one.
So I, I love that one.
The greatest.
But I still love WrestleMania three with Andre because a quick story.
Right before the, we started doing promotion there.
It said, well, we really got to promote hard and heavy.
Why?
Well, because you won't believe this.
But guess who's going to be in town the week before?
Who?
The Pope.
Then who's coming in town?
The Rolling Stones.
So Hulk goes, Jimmy, what do you think?
What do you think?
And I said, well, look, I think we might outdraw the Pope.
But Rolling Stones, I don't know about that, Hookster.
But you know what?
We wind up drawing 93,000 people.
So we did draw both of them.
And so, you know, it made Hulk happy because we were able to do that.
You know, but a lot of work went into it.
But he was kind of, I don't know, maybe we shouldn't run that particular time in the month.
But Vincent, no, we're going to run, maybe.
And so we did.
And it came out great.
Jimmy Hulk Hogan wrestling was before my time.
But his entrance song, Real American, transcended into pop culture.
What is your Mount Rushmore of WWE or WWF entrance songs?
Oh, that's a good question.
Oh, well, I'm a little prejudiced.
Of course, I love Sean Michael, sexy boy that we wrote.
So that's one of my favorites.
And of course, going into the Hall of Fame this year,
well, tomorrow night, well, tonight really is the demolition.
And so Dick who played on the demo, we wrote the demolition.
So I mean, my partner, but on it was Carmen Apapiece of an Ella Fudge.
Remember, we keep me hanging on.
He was on it.
Rick Daringer sang it and played guitar on it.
Leslie West of Mountain.
Remember, Mississippi Queen.
He played on it.
And so that was kind of a star studded group of rock and rollers that were on that.
So I like that too.
But I think Real American was always great.
Of course, John Cena song, ton of air play off that.
I didn't write that though, but that was great.
The Undertaker, even how simple it was with just that bell boom.
It just set the tone for everybody coming out and then the Oregon music.
And I'm always like Rick Flair's, you know, pump his circus dance or randies, whatever it was.
But, you know, I'd like to put a couple of mine in there with sexy boy too.
But, but, but interest themes are so important.
You know, it's like the fans really, when there's 10 seconds into a song, they know who's coming out through that curtain.
Jamie, did you guys ever fight?
You were best friends.
You were as long time manager.
I'm wondering, did you guys ever have disagreements?
Not really because I realized two things from the start with hope.
I never borrowed money from him.
Yeah.
People didn't think about it.
Never borrowed money.
And I always told him the truth when he asked me, even though I put a little bit of sugar on it, sometimes a lot of sugar.
Because you had to kind of, because I don't care how big somebody is, sometimes they're very sensitive.
And hope was very sensitive sometimes about stuff.
But, but not, you know what?
We never fought.
We never argued.
We never disagreed or invest a true story really.
You know, whatever you wanted.
He was, hey, you're the man.
What do you think?
Let's do this route.
Okay.
Well, you made more money in me and wrestling business.
So I'm going with your out here.
So that's the way I kind of worked it out.
But we haven't run together, man.
We were gathered from Memphis to, like I said, WWE, over to WCW, Thunder, Paradise, all the stuff.
Greatest run in the history of wrestling.
Go ahead, Taylor.
Jimmy, from watching the trailer, it looks like one of the things that they're going to talk about is how Hogan was once this universally celebrated larger than life figure, but, you know, several controversies that changed maybe how fans saw him.
From your perspective, how should people balance those two sides of his legacy?
Well, it's hard to tell how some people really are, because some people are very positive.
Some people love the negative of anything.
You know, there's a show called Dark Side of the Ring.
They always call me, want me to do it.
And I said, look, when y'all do Happy Side of the Ring, I'll be more than happy to do it, which I know they're never going to call me, because there's never going to be Happy Side of the Ring, you know?
No one wants Happy Side of the Ring, you know that, right?
Yes.
People always like that dirt.
People like that dirt.
People like the trash.
People like all that, you know?
But, you know, sometimes you can't change people's minds.
You know, they're going to think what they want to think, and that's just the way life's going to be.
And while waste time or are you even thinking about it or fighting against it, could you're not going to do it, you know?
Yep.
Jimmy, what do you hope people learn about Hogan through watching this documentary?
Well, you know, I'm hoping they'll check it out. It's four big episodes of it.
And by the way, it's going to be on April the 22nd, so y'all got to check it out.
But like I said, last night, the first, well, one of the, I think episode two is what we watched last night before we unveiled the Hogan statue.
But, you know, as I was watching it, many went back and I saw so much old footage that just wife Linda was gracious enough to give to the company to put out there.
And it was a lot of early stuff that we got to see ourselves on camera back then, and how happy everything was.
And then it showed a little bit later on how serious everything was.
So when you start making the big money, how much stuff gets around you?
You know, it's a lot of stress when you start making the money, believe it or not.
And how Hogan was pulled north, south, east, west, and how you miss being with the kids.
But he had to really go to keep that lifestyle up.
So I think it's going to be very interesting.
I said that the people for Netflix did an unbelievable job.
It was about six or seven or eight months in the making.
I'll get you out of here in just a second.
Did Hulk feel properly appreciated as he was well, as he passed away?
Did he feel properly appreciated, Jim?
The only thing Hulk was upset about it that he couldn't wrestle anymore.
That's how he loved this business.
He loved the WWE. He just loved everything about it.
And, you know, even though he has a ton of action figures and ton of teachers and everything,
and all of his meat shops were doing great, you know, and still doing great.
But that's the one thing he missed the most.
He'd say, you know, Jimmy Hart.
I just feel like I was robbed early with these back operations and stuff.
I still like I had more in me.
And I said, Hulk, there's not going to be another Andre for you to fight.
There's not going to be another Rodney Rodney Piper for you to fight, you know?
And I just said, man, let's just do what we're doing, man.
We're in the twilight of our career.
So let's ride out and sing in a good song together, you know.
So it was all good, but he was happy.
Did you get a chance to say a proper goodbye for you?
Did you get a chance, Jimmy?
Nope.
I didn't.
You know, he loved karaoke.
So every Monday night, we'd have to go to his beach mart and do karaoke,
which I didn't like doing, you know?
But I went for a hug, right?
And so before he got the operation, I'm sitting next to him.
And he goes, would Jimmy?
He said, I think I'm going to go get my neck operated on because my hands are numb
and I really can't feel them.
And I said, Hulk, every time you go to the doctor and get an operation,
and I was turned to be a disaster.
You're allergic to the medication that you're allergic to everything on it.
He goes, but I got to do it.
So he went and did it.
Two days later, he called and go, I'm coming back home.
I feel great.
Two days after that, he's back in the hospital.
He goes back to the hospital.
They go, what's wrong with him?
Well, we think it might be a valid in your heart.
What?
So they work on that.
He comes back home.
They said, well, we think you've got a light case of leukemia.
What?
leukemia.
He comes back home again.
He goes back again.
Now you've got pneumonia.
So it was just one thing after another.
It really was.
And I never had a chance to say goodbye because at that particular time,
they didn't want anybody at the hospital.
It's doing anything.
But I did talk to him one night on the phone.
And at 4.30 in the morning, he called me and said, I'm coming home tomorrow.
And I went, that is awesome.
I said, well, I still a little prayer for you every night, Hux.
I can't wait to see you.
But as soon as he got home two days later, he was back again.
But I'm certain he knows how much you loved him, Jimmy.
I mean, no one loved the more out there.
Oh, please.
Brother, please.
I'm 100 percent.
Yeah.
If he called me, I was the first one on the phone.
We all, but you know, a lot of our little team Hogan.
We used to call it team Hogan.
We had X amount of rasters that were part of it too.
And one by one through different things that happened in people's lives.
They kind of fell out.
But oh, Jimmy Hart was always there.
Maybe with the megaphone.
Yeah.
Jimmy, we are both shocked.
Me and Taylor that you were not a fan of karaoke.
I mean, I just figured you go up on a stage and you rock it, man.
I mean, I'm shocked by this most shocking thing I've learned today.
Seriously.
Oh, my God.
Well, we love you.
Hey, should we learn something from the day?
And don't forget April the 22nd Netflix.
It's going to be, it's going to be unbelievable.
So I hope you get a chance to see the Hogan documentary.
What was Hogan's karaoke song?
Did he ever go to song?
He always wanted me to get up to sing, keep on dancing the song that we had a million
of center up with the gentries a year ago.
And I didn't like doing it because I just said, you know, it was just very simple.
Like keep on dancing.
Keep on doing the jerk.
You know, there's nobody doing the jerk anymore.
So, but I still once in a while I'd get up and do it.
I want to carry the last time he was there.
I want the karaoke belt for singing, keep on dancing.
I guess it was fixed, right?
Yeah.
Real American on Netflix.
It comes out April 22nd.
It's a four part, four part docu series on one of the greatest athletes we've ever seen.
One of the greatest people we've ever seen.
And that, of course, is Hulk Hogan.
Jimmy, I should not be promoting this.
You should be promoting it on the way out.
So take it away, Jimmy Hart.
Well, first of all, we love you guys.
John, we love you guys.
John, we're awesome.
Hey, you got to check it out April 22nd, maybe the Hulk Hogan documentary real American.
It's going to be unbelievable, baby.
You're unbelievable.
Thank you for doing this, Jimmy.
Thank you.
We love you.
Yeah.
Huge fan.
And I appreciate the time.
Thank you so much, sir.
Thank you all.
All right.
Perfect.
Thank you, Jimmy.
Jimmy, that was great.
Thank you.
You're awesome.
Thank you so much.
I appreciate you saying that, sir.
You're awesome as well.
Thank you.
All people say, Jimmy Hart's lips are moving.
He's lying, but I'm telling you the truth.
Yeah.
They say that about me too, Jimmy.
Just so you know, okay?
I'll check.
Get your spirits.
Get your spirits.
Get your spirits.
Yes.

My upro of the week is Aaron Judd for smiling as each one of those home runs left the ballpark.
How about that?
The time of his life, Aaron Judd.
Cheezing away.
Taylor is so angry.
Thank you to Todd McShay for joining us.
Our thanks to Jimmy Horp, Mouth of the South.
This has happened twice with Taylor, where I brought him back to the 80s when I was growing up.
Roger McDowell and Jimmy Mouth of the South Horn.
And I think Taylor loved both of them.
I do.
Yeah.
W-W-F guys always deliver.
Yes, they did.
F.
Seeing that makes you feel old right there saying W-W-F.
It does.
Yes, used to be W-W-E.
Yes, they've advanced the letter.
Oh, right.
Flip that.
It used to be W-W-F now.
It's W-W-E.
I'm tired.
It's been a long week.
Yes.
It's been a long week with a ton of poll questions.
That's to got 790 on X.
Taylor, let's wrap up the week with the poll questions.
Go ahead.
Let's go surfing.
The Masters does feel like it was three years ago at this point.
So the first question comes from the Masters.
Will Rory start skipping every tournament
to just play a Gusto Moore?
He should.
Yeah, he's earned it.
90% of the audience said yes.
Will the guy?
He ends a couple more.
He'll finally get on that route.
Mount Rushmore that he deserves to be on.
Will the guy who was wearing the egg salad hat
at Augusta have a golf podcast in a month?
Does he have one?
Do we know?
Haven't heard anything about him since.
I got to be honest.
I figured it would be about a week.
If he doesn't have one, I'm shocked that he doesn't have one.
And if a month goes by and he doesn't have one, Taylor,
get him on the phone.
Let's hire the man.
Okay?
89% of the audience said yes.
What would you rather Coachella be?
A music festival or a coaching convention?
I've spoken to Phil Martelli Jr.
about him seeing this thing.
And he's any loves the idea.
He says we probably need to change the name.
That one's probably licensed.
Coachella.
Coachella does sound like a meeting of women coaches.
Put it on the pole.
Maybe they can change it.
Taylor, put that on the pole.
Please.
Yes, good.
80% of the audience said it sounds more like a coaching convention.
Yes.
This one comes courtesy of Mark Hawkman.
Are the Charlotte Hornets going nowhere fast?
What a great sentence.
Yes.
No, I feel like Taylor announced it before anyone else did.
He said, Charlotte's going for it right now.
I feel like they're going for it right now.
Now, I don't think they have a play in game.
And if they lose that, then yes, they're going nowhere fast.
But I think Hawk was saying, you know, if they win,
they're going to get bounced out in four or five games
that going nowhere fast.
So the audience did not agree with you, Stu.
77% of the audience said the Charlotte Hornets are going nowhere fast.
I'm telling you, America loves a good nipple.
A connipple, sorry.
What's Kobe White born for the play in games?
Yes, he was clearly the most.
He's Mr. play in game, yes.
He's 99%.
Get all your bets in tonight for Kobe White points over
because he is going to hit every mark.
89% of the audience said, yes, Kobe White was born for the play in game.
Yeah.
Somehow when playing games, he turns into Kobe Bryant.
It's unbelievable.
Can you be surprised if you tune into a 76ers game
and Joel M.B. is out?
Nope.
Oh, true.
It's such a great question.
I turned on the play in game and thought to myself, wait a second.
Joel M.B. is out?
And then I realized, oh yeah, emergency happened
to me because of course it's Joel M.B.
I'm more shocked when he's playing.
I got to be honest, so.
An overwhelming amount on this poll results.
The record so far this week, 97% of the audience said,
nope, you can't be surprised when it comes to Joel M.B.
That's not one of the idiots.
Wow, this is a good old-fashioned sports radio debate right here.
If you know both are going to score 50 points,
whose highlights would you rather watch?
LeBron James or Steph Curry?
What a great question.
That was between me and Taylor Stu.
You were not involved.
I feel like it's the greatest question ever thought of on this show
without you involved.
Well, thank you.
Trying to think of what my answer would be.
I don't know how that was a compliment, but okay.
Listen, it felt like one.
He heard what he wanted to hear.
That's it.
We're just filling time here.
And I was thanking you for filling time.
I would rather watch.
Geez.
I'd rather watch Steph's score 50.
I can't believe I'm saying it.
The audience agreed with you Stu.
68% of the audience said Steph Curry.
It's crazy how we take the front for granted.
But I agree.
Another big one here for both of you.
Better defender, Michael Jordan, or Dream on Green.
Well, fast and sports pole.
So I feel so bad for Izzy because he knows it's Dream on Green.
I probably know it's Dream on Green, but I said Michael Jordan.
And I know the audience is going to agree with me.
And it's going to come back Michael Jordan.
I know it.
So I feel bad for Izzy.
Izzy, 57% of the audience said Michael Jordan.
Yeah.
What am I going to do?
What am I going to do?
I know my opinion is probably right.
But the strength of the memory of Michael Jordan is even stronger.
What can I do?
Does Kauai Leonard lead the league in no nonsense?
I guess he does.
60% of the audience said yes.
We have two more poll questions here.
Wow, this is a big one for this group right here.
OK.
Is Al Hoerford a Hall of Famer?
I'm going to guess this comes back 70% no.
I'm guessing since the question was put out on my Twitter account,
that's to got 790 on X, that it's going to come back 75%.
Yes.
55% of the audience said no.
No.
I know.
They love you.
Yes.
But they love Hall of Fame measurements even more.
The last poll question this week.
Would you ever want a Chicago White Sox Pope hat?
I forgot about that.
No.
Not because it's a White Sox.
I wouldn't want to mess Pope hat.
Let's end this show on this great percentage.
This great poll question.
Yeah.
Yeah.
This has never happened before.
Oh, no.
55.
Don't tell me.
Don't you dare.
50.
Wow.
How divisive.
What are we going to do with this?
Now we don't know the answer to our question as we go to the weekend.
Let's do that.
Those are the polls.
