Ravens make that kind of a deal though where they're giving up two number one well I told you they

were going to get back to their identity I told you they were going to get back to their identity

like it is ways that you are allowed to lose in Baltimore not being able to stop somebody yeah

ain't one of them so essentially they're getting two players back next year they're getting

a minute bk back who we didn't know if that was going to be a career ending neck injury

you can see like the guy uh a woozy a I think that's his name and uh Cleveland he may never

the kid from Notre Dame he may not ever play he's not I think they they don't think he's

gonna play again ever man just paid him he was a tremendous um middle linebacker um

the Ravens are playing now they have to get Lamar Jackson they still over the cap they got to

get Lamar Jackson signed they're thinking that Lamar Jackson going to average 62 million dollars a

year they might stretch it out like to like a 10 year deal or something like that I don't know

why Lamar wouldn't just go 10 years 620 million like because when you do that it's so pro-rated

it's so much flexibility and we see it happen with with uh passionate homes all the time

to patch my home sign day for 500 years 500 million 10 year deal something like that and they keep

redone it and messing it up and adding stuff to it uh so I was definitely surprised that the

Ravens went that far in especially because I thought they had the ability to sign a guy like

Tray Henderson who was a free agent right Tray Henderson is a free agent you could assign to him

outright um they weren't going to bring all the way back but they had often brightly chub

listen if the job if the Jess want to bring Bradley Chubb in here and then go get sunny styles

I'm not mad at that either I I think that for the Ravens I understood why they did it I thought it

was a deep priced pay for the Raiders Raiders are doing okay yeah they got three for three for

well you know late 20s this year at the police 14 is real 141 and 14 that's pretty good to work

so you get men doza then you get another you get take lemon you get him weapons I wonder

I wonder if he's around in the second round would they look to get the Cooper kid for help

boy he'd be pretty good in that offense he'd be pretty good yeah uh the other thing is

the jets this morning uh got make a Fitzpatrick in a trade with the Miami dolphins

seventh round pick the jets uh get Fitzpatrick give him a three year 40 million dollar extension

so very manageable so the four years four years you say 40 million three years 40 million yep

so it's probably like a $55 million deal because remember you the extension will start to he's a

free agent so for people out there like oh how does that understand I think it works out to like

13 million dollars per year and 13 million dollars a year for meek of Fitzpatrick

Andre Cisco was horrible you know you got Malachai Moore which it allows you to be able to have

a veteran to kind of teach him back there who Malachai Moore made a lot of mistakes this year uh

but man did he show signs of what he could be I think they like him an awful lot yeah

whole lot and they should yep and uh Fitzpatrick is going to turn 30 in August yeah I think that's a

very good deal for the jets but the other one that I'm curious about and I I know that it's

probably not likely okay but the quarterback pool is getting deeper with the dolphins cutting

to a tongue of I low yes now am I lining up and making in my first priority no if that's where I

end up after all of this I'd feel better about two of than I would about Carson Wentz

and Geno Smith let's put it that way and this is a very very low risk proposition with two of

talking about law yeah I mean pretty much you cut him if he stinks you giving him the veteran

minimum and you're giving him a decent offensive line to work with and you giving him Garrett Wilson

who plays like Waddle yep and who knows who the jets get like I think you know if they if they

throw up some places if they throw up some places on this team I think they can very easily going

going to it with barely and then a receiver at 16 because somebody's going to fall and I think

you know brother's lemon brother's Boston somebody's going to fall and be right there looking you

in eyes you like hey I finally I got somebody opposite Garrett Wilson so now they can't double us

or take him away they got to play us honest please please would you lay out for those who are saying

that you cannot bring to a into a cold weather environment why that doesn't mean a thing it's stupid

I mean it's just like Santa fat person can't go out to Miami because it's too hot why look at me

no I'm just saying you know it gets uncomfortable with a fat people with a 90 degrees and you got to

go to training camp because any player is going to adjust to his environment so because the

environment was forward to him of course you're going to you're going to adjust when you're leaving

somewhere and then you go somewhere else and it's 60 degrees or 50 degrees difference but when you

live somewhere you're fine with it because you live in it every day you practice in it so that's

all it is so people think that all players because they have a bad record in cold weather well what do

he play in the cold weather like that matters too so I'm not concerned with thinking he can't play here

and I'm damn sure going to bring him here and tell him hey man you got opportunity to start in

New York and if you play here and you win here man you'll get all this stuff granted I'm still going

from yesterday and Jamal Murray uh nuggets don't think it's going to be a major issue

the second round if the nicks of the three then maybe the nicks will start tanking yo man and try to

get to the four seats so they can play Boston damn all good just a week ago it's not good we

Glen is going to be there to you know pick the next couple like the next franchise quarterback or

next three picks that they got for next upcoming drives it's crazy but I feel like they should

build around the defense this year try to get some young guys in the drive to build up for the

next year or whether if you choose to get a quarterback but um also I'm not also like

heavy on these guys that be bumping up for the draft is my long year as far as quarterback

archmaning and Dante more not so do new guys and I'm also like yeah my god like template

yeah well that is part I mean no wait no none of us saw Mendoza coming he came out of nowhere

right so like you'd be amazed you know how much you can grow from from in two years playing football

like just imagine I don't know if you ever played any sports just imagine what you were your

freshman in sophomore year opposed to what you became like your junior senior year

yeah like I played football in basketball high school he needed that point right there

is right like well saying like I like guys the sports quarterback the chamber's got a true

reference yeah and I also like Lenore sellers from all South Carolina he's a very good quarterback as well

everybody I'm not like a little tank yeah he's been pretty good here man yeah he a little bit

here tank you know me run the ball real well he's not easy to bring down yeah Bill I don't know if

there's a good thing stand up taking hits but uh free agency spending the last 10 years

this is from our guy Rich Semini over the weekend despite having 70 plus million in cap room

the jet's plan is to be measured in their approach this offseason in 2019

they signed CJ Mosley and levy on bell they signed the most spent the most in the offseason

to sign those two guys they went from four wins to seven wins the biggest win change was the Patriots

this past year they won 10 more games with all the money that they had but that's also because

they their quarterback developed and they found the jaguars in 2022 got six more wins after spending

the most the dolphins in 2025 um otherwise it usually is translated translated into two or three

more wins for the most part well remember the Giants when Reese was underwater you went on and

spent a crap load of money was that after the banana boat yes yeah and then they won like 10 games

or something like that the banana boat was the last time they were no that's not the last time

they were in the playoffs but that was when he did spend a lot of money and in a couple of years

later they got back to the playoffs when we had the two what 2022 with uh banana boat was 2016

right um Giants made the playoffs in 2022 and beat the Vikings before they lost in Philly but

point being the trend the spending of a ton of free agent money does not always yeah of course

translate into more wins what about the dream team that never worked in Philadelphia what about

what about the uh Deanna Sanders-Bruth Smith that team when they signed everybody and Washington

not great not great Josh Brooklyn next the SP in New York Josh what's going on

hey listen guys how you guys doing uh but I want to ask you a quick question do you

do you like still the Sherwood stand on a gesture do you think they should move them out

don't they can't move them that put them in the new culture but I'm saying because you know

the Titans in the teeth you know Robert Sala and uh Ulbrich that was there one of that guys I don't

know if they can trade them off or something and maybe rebate that old because Devon bushes out there

Angeloni for tomorrow Davis guys like that I don't know if they want to because this is an important

free agency for Aaron Glenn we need to um establish his guys like bring his guys in I don't know

maybe he may want somebody for that because I don't know where you will assume that he if

Angeloni comes in well where um where Sherwood will be playing in that in that defense I mean they

need they need a Mike Lymebacker to come in so he can play his natural position which is the will

position because that's typically where the the safety type guys because you're you're not

protected by having a Sam Lymebacker to your side so you you have a natural bubble you have two

to that side you you have three gaps so you have to feel one um I think Sherwood is in a perfect

position to kind of be able to move to that so going to get a Lymebacker I don't think

precludes them from going out and I'm getting another Lymebacker because they need a thumper

and and the good thing is there if they're moving to a three four which all signs indicate that

they're going to move to a three four then you you want your two Lymebackers to be able to run

and you want to be able to play in space what's interesting to me is I just told you a minute ago

what Rich Samini was saying is that the jet's plan despite having 70 million in cap space is

to be somewhat measured it would be strategic does that tell you a little something about where

Moosie stands versus where Aaron Glenn stands because Aaron Glenn is obviously right up against it

and he needs to win immediately but we thought at one point certainly at one point Moosie and Glenn

were tied together when Glenn was hired first last year and then Moosie we thought Glenn was the

one in charge maybe that's kind of changing now that dynamic that we've talked about when you hear

that their plan is maybe not to be so aggressive and getting after it in free agency.

You know another thumper that I can see is he's not on here one way to see what they do about

Levi Ogan and a wookie right we'll see we'll see what if he wants he missed all last year with the

injury but he's a guy that played for four Glenn and Detroit 28 years old but does this tell you

any more does this change the dynamic a little bit more about Moosie and Glenn if Moosie

is going to be a little more measured with how they spend all that cap space like does that say

no because because it helped an uncle in this year because you don't you don't have as much money

to spend I mean you don't you don't you don't you want to draft and develop and you spend money

for strategic guys like you know like what the Ravens did like what you did for me could fit

you know I mean good deal solid players going to be great to build your locker room and he's

really brought here to help more maximize his potential now I wonder when you think about

like where the Jets can go even even where the Giants can go because if I was with the Giants I

would go D JK Dobbins I would go Isaiah likely and it'd be interesting to see what else what else

they do but as far as the Jets it's so interesting man like what are they going to do like you

got Hollywood Brown out there you got Mike Evans out there you got you got perks you know certain

players out there that you can kind of build build it up with it's going to be interesting to see like

what's the guy they for the Bears I think he'll be the perfect thump of the brain care they got

released is the Elam at your main uh Tremaine Edmonds yeah Tremaine Edwin's yeah yeah I mean he's

going to get a decent amount of money you would think but it's crazy because he got released he got

put so they were trying to trade him first obviously to put a job obviously to put a Giants too

Edmonds is an outstanding football player but you know once again Chicago went all in they

they're one of the teams that said let's get better by just paying people and eventually you know

the when that credit card bill is due and you spent that money you got to let guys walk

well they went out and spent that money last year on the offensive line and it worked but now

everybody retired but now Drew Dolman's retiring and even in inapolis they start riding Kelly and

everybody they retire you got glass on there that'd be somebody that's that you know maybe the

Giants might want to take a look at at right tackle I mean he's massive he's playing at a high

level they couldn't come up with a they couldn't come up with the number so then he didn't they

come up with the numbers so they let him go he asked for his release they granted it well the

bears I don't think they're going to be signing a lender bomb because they just traded for the guy

from the Patriots right Bradbury or Glassbury or something like yeah and Bradbury um but he

is going to be their center for next year so I'll be very curious is to lender bomb and where

he ends up if the Giants are not going to spend the big money on him oh they the Ravens going to

give him a real deal do you think he'll be back with Baltimore yes you why do you think it is that he

hasn't been already that he wanted to see the market yeah of course you always go to the market if

you can't come up with the number because maybe he doesn't want to get paid as a center he wants

to get paid as like you know because we're centers get paid less than guards traditionally

the highest paid center is Cree Humphreys I guess an 18 yeah per a Cree Humphreys right just think

that's that's that's less than hell middle linebacks are getting that right yeah they were saying

that the lender bomb might want like 25 right which would put him at top guard market

it said he was hacked but somehow got control back of his account in the span of about five minutes

on both instagram and twitter how exactly does that happen these days i've seen people go weeks

without able to get their uh account back and they keep they hold it hard they hold it hostage they

keep twitter tweeting about crypto here's the thing he was like he's fighting with his marketing agent

because he was in his fillings i'm telling everybody listen i told you we uh once again i mentioned

last year it was no way they're going to have two outside rushers at at a hundred million dollars

so i so soon soon as we're trying to gary came that was green bays opportunity to try and win the

championship that year and we knew that that wasn't sustainable for the next year now now maybe

with that money did they say and really i was just a salary done more than anything you got it but

you do have to like what Dallas maybe has done securing the edges with a young guy this move you

got you got Clark he listen he plays hard he's gonna give you effort he's never lived up to his first

round drive picking this is the kid i trained but he's never got double digit sacks got the

hundred million dollars now you go to Dallas and now that's gonna be uh state tax free i'm sure he

have he's happy about that uh and to me that price got to better more reliable quarterback and

shifter confirmed it the falcons are making a strong push to sign to a taiga viola and the deal

now lefty to a taiga viola appears poised to join him in that land on a minimum deal

well that sucks if you are certainly in a position to be michael pennics well michael pennics

has come back from angel he won't be ready at the beginning of the year this gives them a guy

that has a left those to ball with the left hand as well so your offense can pretty much stay the

same and he costs you nothing this is them going from a hundred million dollar quarterback

to being able to have a quarterback room probably responsible for ten million dollars this year

deniel jones and the colts are kind of going back and forth on whether or not they're going to get

a contract going so we all know he got the transition tag from the colts and apparently the team

offered him a contract similar to sam darnold's which was about three years a hundred million dollars

gentlemen deniel jones is camp came back with a fifty million dollar per year oh my god

contract oh fifty million dollars per year i mean the crazy thing is though

if he had finished the year the way he started yeah because remember he was making what 40

million dollars with the giants with the giants yep now Lamar Jackson's about to push that to 62

he said all right out ten million dollars less i mean i i can see him asking for some more respect

on his cell but that's borderline ridiculous crazy crazy work because teams are saying the reason

that we're giving it to you because they can easily say hey we can just go malik willis

oh absolutely if that's the case we can just go call him hurry if that's the case

call him hurry making fifty million dollars a year you think i'm gonna give it to you no i don't

think so so jones i just want to take a look before he got hurt oh he was the MVP candidate

no i know that but i felt like the last couple of games before of the season he didn't like

great no he didn't he struggled he threw he threw five picks one day he had the day against um five

picks Pittsburgh three he threw three picks against Pittsburgh uh thirty one of fifty for three

forty two but three interceptions yeah that's really where it started to fall off then uh

then he got hurt and he missed like a week and a half and then he missed more time in December

so he finished the year with 19 touchdowns and eight interceptions yeah it really is about Jonathan

teller to him what he was doing early in the season well yeah he was the MVP early in the year he

ended up playing thirteen games i i would not be in a hurry to be handing him that kind of money

hey hey let him crap i i bro we might go and come up to forty but that's where we at yeah i'd be

he is expected to return for a fourteen season that's what the athletic is reporting however is not

yet clear where he is going to be playing next year a return to the chiefs is not imminent he will
