The biggest names in the business are on you better you bet with Nick Costos.
Hey, this is Joe Bach and you have done it. You have found it.
You are listening to you better you bet.
Great decision.
Hi, this is Kevin Harlan of CBS Westwood One and TNT.
And I'm listening as you do every day to you better you bet with the most handsome single man in the radio business.
A man who if I was not married for 38 years, I might consider myself the kind of guy that can electrify a listening audience
and a crowd of bystanders watching him do what he does so well each and every day.
Continue to listen right here on you better you bet.
This is you better you bet on Westwood one sports brought to you by bad MGM.
The phenomenal NC double eight tournament Friday edition of you better you bet rolls on Nick Costos our crew.
And whoever the hell you are here on Westwood one sports first hour of the show.
We are engulfed in madness.
Why North Carolina needs to move on from Hubert Davis and one of the great choke jobs literally not figuratively literally in the history of the NC double eight tournament losing to filamar telly junior who joined us last hour on the show.
Thank you very much to coach one of the biggest choke jobs in the history of the tournament Hubert Davis presides over it is asked what went wrong.
His response.
What do you mean?
What do you mean?
You know, like I just burned down my house.
Hey, how does it feel to have your house burned down?
It's bad, right? What do you mean?
That we're all good. Everything's cool. No worries.
We still get to play tomorrow, right?
We're not eliminated, right?
What do you mean?
If I I wouldn't have done this as a reporter because then like then you're the story but the response from the support from the reporter should have been.
What do you mean?
That should have been the response.
It can't be, but it really should have been.
What do you mean?
What do you mean?
And Duke the luckiest team yesterday by far in the NCAA tournament easily could have lost the Jerry McNamara and Sienna instead winning by six to advance to the next round tomorrow against TCU.
I expect Duke to win and win big.
And AJ DeBonza 35 and 10 as BYU loses by eight.
He will reportedly mull his future.
There is no mulling.
He will mull his way to our nation's capital.
He will mull his way to Utah.
He will mull his way to Sacramento.
He will mull his way to Indiana where he will be likely the number one overall pick in the NBA draft.
Mark Zinno, ESPN batting analyst coming up in about 20 minutes getting us all set to bet today and tomorrow in the big dance.
Tyler, Kenny and myself will give you all our thoughts on tomorrow's games later this hour.
But for right now, we got to talk some NBA.
And when I woke up this morning, it was not going to be my plan to do NBA this early in the show.
But you know, after what happened last night with the Los Angeles Lakers, we are given no choice.
Because, and when I say you here, so when I say while you, this is the royal you, this you includes I.
The proper English would be me, but you understand what I'm saying.
So when I say you, I am including myself under the umbrella of you.
While you and me were watching the NCAA tournament last night, the Los Angeles Lakers went to Miami and beat the heat 134 126.
It is now eight consecutive wins for the Lakers who are obviously red hot are playing terrific basketball.
And if you had to guess right now, you had to bet it right now.
The Lakers are probably going to be not definitely still time left in the regular season, but look like they've got a really good shot to be the three seed in the Western Conference playoffs.
In the last night's game, Luca Donchitch scores 60 points, 60 for the L.A. Lakers.
Luca now on this eight game win streak for the Lakers is averaging 41 points per game and has four games of 40 points or more on this win streak for the L.A. Lakers.
And in the waning moments of the game, Luca Donchitch steps up to the free throw line and serenaded with chance from the crowd in Miami.
Listen, you are equal to second highest scoring output with this free throw, 60, 60 for Luca Donchitch.
Miami are the late Lakers TV courtesy of the call.
You hear the crowd in Miami cheering for Luca Donchitch.
Luca being serenaded with MVP chance from the road fans in Miami.
Pretty amazing stuff.
Now you could certainly take that and say, well, Miami sports fans, could you imagine like Boston doing that?
And I understand Boston Lakers, it wouldn't happen because of the Celtics Lakers rivalry.
But you can't imagine some fan bases chanting MVP for arrival in a spot like that.
And just not to not to bury Nico Harrison even further, but we will right now.
The Luca Donchitch trade is now entering like Harlem Globetrotters against Washington General's territory, where the score is just getting run up and run up and run up some more.
As Anthony Davis, and did anyone experience this yesterday, if you have like for the four TV setup or multi view on one big TV, where on true TV,
which which used to be the impractical jokers TV channel, right, is no longer, which is unfortunate, because it might be my favorite show ever.
I'm watching like Anthony Davis has his own impractical jokers like TV style show now, like a prank show, like a punk hosted by Anthony Davis.
This is a real thing, like Anthony Davis has his own show.
And I'm watching this thinking what juxtaposing this with Luca Donchitch scoring 60 points last night.
Anthony Davis is not only not playing for the wizard, it's not even on the Mavericks anymore.
He's hosting a prank TV show on true TV.
The score is getting run up on this trade.
Blue get Donchitch to the Los Angeles Lakers, it probably is going to be the worst trade in the history of sports when it's all said and done.
And Luca is currently playing the best basketball of his entire career.
He's been unbelievable.
He's in shape.
He is bitching and moaning less to the refs, which is something J.J. Retic talked about after the game, like the defensive effort, like no one's going to confuse him with Scotty Pippin, but at least is putting some more effort in defensively.
And he's getting MVP buzz.
And now seconds on the odds board of bed MGM behind SGA.
SGA is going to win as long as SGA plays the minimum amount of games, but it's just a credit to Luca Donchitch that this is where we're at now.
And how stunning a turn around this has been when you know, Luca is complaining and the Lakers are losing and there's a lot of criticism for Luca.
And now an eight game win streak for Luca and the Lakers and a casual 60 from Luca.
Not to be forgotten from last night's win, the legendary LeBron James.
And we praised LeBron yesterday on the show after LeBron with an incredibly efficient performance as the Lakers beat the Houston Rockets again.
LeBron last night in the second half of a back to back at 41 years old.
19, 15 and 10.
A casual triple double for the king on the second half of a back to back against the team that will be in the postseason, the play in likely, but a playoff team in the Eastern Conference with the Miami Heat.
LeBron James and I understand that a lot of people hate LeBron and people don't like him, maybe it's his politics, maybe it's the way he's carried himself throughout his career.
A lot of people will hold the session against him forever, you know, bolting to Miami and what he said after the Lakers, after the heat, excuse me, lost that first NBA finals to Dirk and the Mavs.
Without everyone can go back to their lives and I'll go, I'll keep living mine.
I understand that a lot of people dislike LeBron James, I don't, but I understand why a lot of people do.
None of what I'm about to say is going to try to convince any of you to like LeBron, you can hate him.
I don't care how you feel about him. I'm just saying that's not the point of this.
The point of this is to say that no matter how you feel about him personally, whether you root against him, whether you root for him, you have to, as Roman Reigns would say, acknowledge him.
He is on a night in, night out basis, bearing fangs at father time, spitting in the general direction of science and physics and everything we know about the human body, like defying aging with what he's doing right now.
We've never seen this before. What LeBron's doing. This is not Tom Brady, you're playing quarterback in his like, you know, mid 40s in the NFL.
That's not what this is and Brady obviously is an outlier as well in his sport. This is way more physical than that way more running than that.
I think it's more impressive what LeBron's doing and I'm not trying to diminish what Tom Brady did. Brady's the greatest athlete ever.
We've actually put Brady above Jordan if we're doing that kind of thing, which we don't have to do, but I don't mean as an insult to Tom Brady at all.
We've seen LeBron now. You better, you bet on this Friday, Nick Costos and you on Westwood one sports. We have seen LeBron James break many NBA records.
He's the leading scorer now in the history of the NBA. He has the most all-star game appearances in the history of the NBA.
He is a four time NBA champion, a four time NBA finals MVP, a four time regular season MVP.
And very soon what's going to be added to the ledger of LeBron James career accomplishments, whether you like it or not,
with one more game played, LeBron will set the NBA record for most games played in an NBA career.
Last night LeBron tied the great Robert Parish, aka the chief, 1,611 games played for LeBron James.
And LeBron will surpass the chief. Most games played in the NBA with the next game that he plays.
In Robert Parish's final year, 1996, I believe, for the bulls, Robert Parish averaged 3.7 points in 2.1 rebounds in his final year.
If this is LeBron's final year and I don't think it will be, like LeBron will have way more pomp and circumstance around the end of his career than to just piece out at the end and disappear like Kaiser Sosa, like Aaron Rodgers has said.
LeBron this season is averaging 21, 7 and 6.
So Robert Parish, at the time he's going 1,611 games played, 4 points to rebounds.
LeBron James, 1,611 games played, 21,7 and 6.
And LeBron after the game saying, quote, shout out to the chief.
Robert Parish is dope. I don't know why this kind of stuff makes me laugh, but it does.
And it really makes me and should make you, if you felt this way, and I'm saying that I did, should make you feel pretty silly, right?
Because it wasn't that long ago that I was saying on the show that this is a waste of the season for LeBron and it's a waste of the season for the LA Lakers.
If this were NBA 2K, you would sim to the end of the year, put LeBron on the calves or another team next year.
Lakers, you know, sign Austin Reeves to a max and roll the ball out with Luca and Austin Reeves.
And that's your future in LA and LeBron has one more year somewhere else trying to win a title.
And the Lakers have completely flipped the script on that and LeBron has completely flipped the script on that.
LeBron saying this after the game to those that doubted him this season.
Myself, I mean, his self-paper is a lot easier in clippings and outcasts.
He says, LeBron, bad bad team is better off without him.
A lot of people would try to let do it, so I give it.
So LeBron saying, you know, to everyone that thought, you know, Lakers better without me, yeah, well, now you're seeing what the deal actually is here.
And he's right.
And I don't think that we will see this play out.
I don't think so.
If the Lakers and believe me, this is a hypothetical.
If the Lakers were to win the NBA championship this year, I don't think that's going to happen.
I would never bet on it and we'll talk about the Lakers and the playoffs in a moment here.
But I think it's worth at least asking the question.
They are going to likely be the three seed. It's not like they're in the plan, right?
If the Lakers won the title this season is LeBron over Jordan.
If it happens, I don't think it will.
But these are the sorts of things that you think about on a Friday morning in the world of sports.
And I don't mean that. That's not meant to be a hot take. It's not for clicks.
I'm saying I don't think it's going to happen.
But if it did, would it change your mind?
So let's talk about it now, Lakers and the playoffs.
It goes noted that last night, the two seed in the Western Conference, San Antonio Spurs,
clinched a playoff berth on a Victor Webinyama, not quite buzzer beater,
but about a one second to go when he makes a jumper to sink the suns
and the Spurs win by one and San Antonio officially clinches a playoff berth.
I would put San Antonio as one of three teams.
And maybe you could throw Minnesota into the mix, but you know,
the Lakers beat Minnesota recently.
Lakers are playing great.
I'll stop short of saying the Lakers would absolutely beat the Timberwolves in the playoffs.
But I think that, you know, I wouldn't be surprised if they did it this point.
The Spurs, the Nuggets, and the Thunder.
I don't think the Lakers can beat those teams. I don't think so.
But you have to acknowledge now that it's starting to get a little interesting.
And if it gets interesting, we are going to be in for one of the great stories in the history of sports.
If the Lakers make a deep run, just imagine, if you will, I don't think it's going to happen.
Because they'd have to beat San Antonio in order to get there.
And I don't think that will happen.
But imagine a Lakers Thunder Western Conference final.
If Lucas playing great, and LeBron's playing great,
and he's the third option, and he will, if that's the case, he's going to be a babyface.
People will be rooting for LeBron.
If that's the case, if he's accepted his role, you win a couple playoff series.
What a story that will be if the Lakers can make a run in the playoffs.

Better you bet with Nick Costos on Westwood One Sports.
Arizona.
Big 12 regular season champions.
Big 12 tournament champions.
The one seat in the West region.
I don't think anyone doubts that Arizona is going to win today
against Long Island University against L.I.U.
But Arizona is going to cover the 30-and-a-half point number.
What are the best bets today coming up in college basketball?
How about tomorrow?
Joining us right now to break it down.
One of my favorites.
One of my friends for a long time in the industry.
Doing an awesome job covering sports betting for our friends at ESPN.
And you can read his betting breakdowns for the NCAA tournament at ESPN.com.
And you can listen to him on the Odyssey Sports Radio Station in Atlanta.
92-9 in the game.
My buddy, Mark Zinno, here with us on a Friday.
Mark, happy Friday in the NCAA tournament.
How you doing, my friend?
Nick, great to be with you, man.
It was a good first day.
We had some ups and downs, certainly some heartbreak with some of the games there.
But we had a really good first day.
Yeah, lead us through how yesterday went for Mark Zinno.
My day would be described probably in two words.
Hubert Davis.
How about yours?
Yeah.
Well, my was described in high point.
Who, strangely enough, who just head coach looks exactly like the dad from family ties.
It took me a day to figure that out.
But it was good to know that Alex P. Keaton or what was his name?
What was his name?
What was the dad's name?
Anyway.
You're older than me.
I think like my first sitcom memory is like family matters.
So I'm on Erkel.
You're on family ties.
I have no idea.
Michael Gross.
Bill Zinno says our executive producer.
Yes, Michael Gross is the name of the actor.
But anyway.
So I had high point, which was a great start to the day.
You know, Texas was another big play of ours.
And late, look, it was quirky.
But Idaho Houston first half over.
It was one of those situations, Nick, where you needed two things to happen for it to stay under.
You needed Houston not to get to 40 against the really bad defense with a really efficient offense.
And you needed Idaho not to get to 23 points.
Right?
And they didn't get there.
But Houston did get there.
And because I needed both of them to happen, I figured only one was likely.
And we ended up cash in the ticket there with Houston and Idaho in the first half over.
And it was good.
It was a good day overall.
I mean, we took a little bit of a kick with some Michigan state in order.
North Dakota state that, you know, early, I was surprised Michigan state put up 57% shooting.
Didn't have that on my bingo card yesterday.
So.
But and then everybody, you know, was enjoying watching Seattle hang around all of us together just with a group of friends here watching and betting on the games.
It was a real consternation in the first half.
Like, what do we do here?
Do we stay see on the money line?
When do we bet on Duke and strangely enough?
I mean, look, the odds make us really good at their job, right?
The first second half number for Duke was 17 and a half and would the second half land on 17.
So there you go.
There you go.
All right.
So here's what I'm going to do, Mark.
I'm going to hit you with all like the like the slates today.
So like the first slate, you give us like your one or two bets that you like in your analysis of the games that you do like.
So Kentucky Santa Clara.
I like Kentucky makes me a little nervous.
Kentucky two and a half against Santa Clara 156 and a half.
Texas Tech seven and a half against Akron.
Obviously JT topping out for the season for the Red Raiders 154 and a half.
Arizona 30 and a half against L.I.
2147 and a half the total and Virginia 17 and a half against right state.
145 and a half the total in about a minute.
Any bets that you like in the early slate of games today?
Yeah, on the opposite side of here with Santa Clara.
Look, I just think they're battle tested in the West Coast conference.
And they have the size to compete inside with the wild cats ranking 19th in the nation.
Offensive rebound percentage.
And not only that, the Broncos take a lot of threes.
Even if they have a lot mild success making them, it's going to put enough pressure on Kentucky here.
The key to this game is Santa Clara's a builder to force turnovers.
If they do that, they're going to be on the right side of this game.
Texas Tech is my big bet of the day, best bet of the day here.
Akron is going to be wildly overmatched.
Texas Tech in without topping is still in the lead three point shooting team.
And this is a Akron team that isn't that great on the defense event.
And whenever Akron played anybody in the non-compet schedule in the top 125 and adjusted efficiency margin,
they lost outright.
Don't really like Akron here.
I think they're going to get overwhelmed.
The only thing you can take with Arizona at this point, Nick, honestly,
is like a first half team total over because that's when they're going to push to pace the most.
That's when they're going to try their hardest.
There's a huge fear with them pulling up late in a game where they don't need to really score a lot of points,
especially knowing they're going to play again in two days.
So they're not really going to push the angle here.
But that's the way I would look at that game.
And then what was the last game on the card?
Sorry.
Virginia and Wright state.
I mean, this feels like a first half kind of underdeal.
But here's the thing like, this is what worries me.
Similar to what Michigan state and North Dakota state was yesterday.
Virginia is still a very good three point shooting team.
And I don't think that Wright state has the ability to stop them.
If Virginia is hitting threes at a very high rate, which they can do,
this thing is going to go over the total.
Otherwise, I would look to the under here.
All right. Great.
I want to make sure we get as much in with you as possible.
So if you don't have a play on the game, totally cool, we can pass over here.
Because I do want to hit you with some games mark on tomorrow's slate.
So the next pod here on this Friday, Iowa state, 24 and a half against Tennessee state.
That's the two 15 matchup in the Midwest, 147 and a half Bama.
And like they're kind of uncertain situation with other second leading scorer,
11 and a half against Hofstra, 157 and a half.
Utah state about a one point favorite against Kevin Willard and Villanova,
146 and a half the total there.
And then Tennessee is getting bet as we speak right now.
The balls out to 12 and a half against Miami, Ohio.
I do like Miami, Ohio, plus the points in that game.
148 and a half.
What stands out for you in the second window today?
Hofstra definitely a play here for me today.
That's the best team in the coastal.
It wasn't UNC Wellington.
It wasn't Charleston.
It was Hofstra.
They had a five game lose trick in the middle of the year that sort of tanked their record.
But they've proven to be the best Alabama will be a shell of themselves
in the second leading scorer in their top leading pot dealer,
which is also very important when it comes to playing basketball.
Beyond that, Miami's team total over 68 and a half.
Do you realize Nick Miami has not got scored under 73 in any game this year?
They still can make shots.
And even though Tennessee defense is very, very good,
there's no way Miami covers the game.
They don't get to 70 because I don't know if their defense is going to stop Tennessee
from scoring to 80 here.
So I would look at Miami's team total over 68 and a half.
All right.
So Miami over team total 68 and a half.
The first evening slate here marks in or guest ESPN sports betting analyst Odyssey
Atlanta 92 9 the game on Twitter at marksino with Nick Costos on this Friday.
You better you bet Westwood won sports.
Iowa and Bennett starts a one and a half point favorite against Clemson,
129 and a half the total.
St. John's 9 and a half against Northern Iowa, 133 and a half.
UCLA, 5 and a half against UCF, 151 and a half.
And then Purdue, a 25 and a half point favorite against Queens, my hometown.
Not really.
160 and a half the total in the first evening window.
All right.
Real quick Iowa all the way here every time Clemson doesn't have a signature win on their schedule.
They haven't beaten anybody good and they're not going to do it here.
Give me Iowa minus the points here.
St. John's fan much like you are.
But this total is getting bet now and it's starting to go over for good reason.
I think this thing gets over the 132, 133 and a half here.
UCF big play for me.
Do you realize Nick that UCLA has played eight regular season games outside the Western times on this year?
That one exactly one of them and it was against awful Penn State.
Yes, they won two games in the big 10 tournament.
One was against awful Rutgers, the other one.
They shot 56% against Michigan State.
Don't think they're doing that again.
Give me UCF plus the points.
And then the last game here with Queens University.
This will profile similar to Michigan and Howard.
I think Queens gets over their team total because Queens defense is awful.
Purdue is the most efficient offense in the country.
Queens is going to have a ton of extra possessions here because they won't stop Purdue from scoring.
They'll get over 68 and a half.
I love the way that you're thinking and the way you're handicapping these games.
And hopefully for all of us, the night slate, the games are a little better than they were last night where we needed to be saved in quotes by Gonzaga and Kennesaw.
A nine point victory for the Zags.
They're the best of a terrible night slate last night.
We've got Florida and Prairie View A&M.
So maybe we want to have a lot of hope for that one with the Gator's 35 and a half point favorites.
155 and a half.
Tansis 13 and a half with Darren Peterson against Cal Baptist.
138 and a half the total there.
Yukon, a 20 and a half point favorite against Ferman or good friend Todd.
136 and a half the total.
And then Miami and Mizzou, the final game of Miami.
Two two and a half against Mizzou.
146 and a half.
What about the night slate?
I get that Prairie View A&M as no business being in this game.
Florida's team total is 95 and a half.
Are they going to score 100?
Really hard to do it.
Most of these coaches pull up late.
Just that principal take Florida under 95 and a half.
I think Cal Baptist gets dunked in water and they're not allowed up by Kansas.
Kansas should win and cover this game easily.
I'll take the points of Ferman.
Yukon plays slow enough that it's not going to matter here.
And I don't think Yukon is really interested in sort of running the matter of the gym.
Ferman can be a little bit pesky, but it is a bad match of form.
I've been dying to fade Miami in the NCAA tournament because I've dealt there for Gaze all year long.
I just don't think Missouri is the team to do it against.
I don't trust them away from home and I don't trust their shooting away from home.
So I've been Miami in the spot.
Well, we'll move to tomorrow.
I want to hit you with a couple games on Saturday's slate.
So you mentioned to me off air that you have a future on St. Louis,
which I just so people know this.
Like Mark has a bet on St. Louis to make the final four,
which doesn't mean that Mark thinks St. Louis is going to make the final four.
I guess you like them at price at a big number.
So St. Louis just, I mean, I was like,
Trinidad Chamblers was playing last night for St. Louis.
I mean, Georgia was brutal in that game.
Michigan's a 12 and a half point favorite tomorrow against the Billikens.
161 and a half.
My guess is, is that you think St. Louis can keep this game close?
Do I have that right?
That's the first game coming up tomorrow.
Look, if St. Louis is hitting shots,
the way they have been all year long, right?
Like at one point, you already refer to St. Louis as an analytical unicorn
because they were number one in affect the field of percentage shooting.
Number one in two point shooting, number one in three point shooting.
They were number one in affect the field of percentage defense.
Like you just didn't see what they were at anything like what they were earlier in the year.
If they make shots, they're absolutely going to be in this game.
Do you have to respect Michigan's defense and their ability to stop teams from making shots?
Yes, but I'll trust the Billikens here to make shots once again.
They looked like the team that we saw leading into February.
Not the team we saw for the last three weeks of February last night.
If they do it again, I think they got a shot to keep this close.
Two more quick ones for you like 20 to 30 seconds for the answer.
I think this is setting up tomorrow.
A great spot to bet Duke off of yesterday.
Barely beating Sianna, TCU beats Ohio State,
making a lot of noise in the aftermath.
I'm going to lay Duke against TCU.
You have any thoughts on that game? Duke 11 and a half.
Yes, forget the spread, Nick.
Duke's team total over 75 and a half.
Do you realize that Duke shot their fourth worst percentage on the season
and worse three point percentage shooting of the year in the game against Sianna?
Their offense will regress to the mean.
This defense for TCU will be able to keep up.
I don't want to worry about the spread and what Duke is going to have to have
to do to cover a big number.
Give me their team total over 75 and a half.
They should get to that number easily.
They're pissed off.
They took Sianna too lightly and they're going to come out super aggressive.
Give us one more bet that you like for tomorrow.
Anything that stands out for you on Saturday slate.
Michigan State minus three and a half.
Shop around and get the best number.
Well, I look Louisville was lucky to even hang on to win that game.
I don't think that Michigan State's offense is going to shoot the same
as it did in the first game, but their defense will hold up.
Every time Louisville this year was played a team that's ranked in the top 20
and adjusted defensive efficiency.
They've lost with the exception of one game earlier this year.
Again, Cincinnati whose offense has got awful.
Michigan State's defense will do all they need to do here later points of Michigan State.
Final question and like we could spend 10 minutes on this.
It needs to be 30 seconds.
Agree or disagree with me and you obviously caught like I have a great interest
in the Falcons doing work for our station in Atlanta.
92 9 the game.
I am on record saying to a tongue of I low will start more games for the Falcons this year than Michael
Penex Jr. Agree or disagree and why 30 seconds max for the answer.
A hundred percent agree.
Look, he's just light years ahead of Michael Penex.
He's going to have the starting job due to being the healthy one going into camp.
And I don't think he's going to relinquish it.
He is a guy that's going to operate in a system of Kevin Stephansk.
He's that's going to allow him to throw a lot of short passes underneath
and get guys get the ball in the hands of the guys like beach on a Drake.
They're not two is not going to be the reason the Falcons have a bad record this year.
It will be fence because they lost so many key players to it.
But I agree two is the starter.
I would assume the entire year.
Mark great job on Twitter at marksino ESPN sports batting analyst 99 the game in Atlanta.
Enjoy the day with your buddies. Good luck with the bets.
We got a buddy. Thank you.
Our friend marksino joining us here on you better you bet.

We will break down tomorrow's games in the NCAA tournament in just a moment,
but we do have a piece of a sad piece of pop culture news to deliver here.
And look like we're a sports show, but sometimes something will come across
where everyone knows who this person is and this person just passed away.
Chuck Norris has died at the age of 86.
TMZ is all over the place now, all reporting this.
So the martial arts champion who became an iconic action star
led the hit TV show Walker Texas Ranger,
died at the age of 86.
And for those who are unaware, and I think like even young people,
when I say young, I mean, if you're in your 20s, whatever.
I think everyone's kind of aware of the Chuck Norris memes.
They're not really memes, but I guess the comedic device around Chuck Norris,
who's one of the most accomplished martial artists of all time,
are crew found a bunch of them here.
For example, Chuck Norris didn't die.
He took the Grim Reaper's place.
Chuck Norris killed two stones with one bird.
Adam and Eve weren't the first people on earth.
Chuck Norris kept a low profile.
When Chuck Norris enters a room, he doesn't turn the lights on.
He turns the dark off.
Chuck Norris can give you the middle finger with his pinky.
He doesn't eat honey. He choose bees.
This is the best one.
Chuck Norris doesn't call the wrong number.
You pick up the wrong phone.
So obviously a lot of these jokes have made us laugh over the years,
and Chuck Norris entertaining a lot of us over the years.
Rest in peace to Chuck Norris.
Lost and passing away at the age of 86.
Kenny, I think it's time for us to play the college basketball jingle.
We get set to preview tomorrow's action in the round of 32 in the NCAA tournament.
Joining us now to do that is our tactical director, Tyler Morales.
And the aforementioned Kenny Henderson.
Good morning, Tyler. How's it going today?
Good. I'm ready for some more college basketball after the last night.
Yes, there's marathon.
Kenny, how are we feeling today on this Friday?
You had St. Louis. We had Georgia.
So that had to feel good for you last night.
Yeah, St. Louis was good.
But the highest point of the day was high point.
I love that.
Charles and Tyler on the money line.
Did you have the money line, too?
Tyler, I did.
Yeah, it wasn't listed.
I'm still in the, I'm still in the Carolina blue hole, unfortunately.
Tyler, you promised us that you would actually like get stones,
like taking edible or smoke weed.
If high point were to win the game, they did.
Did you get high yesterday after high point one?
I did.
And I also went to Buffalo Wild Wings with my friends afterwards.
So it was a great day for you, boy.
I had a good time yesterday.
Good for you, buddy.
You deserve it.
I said, Tyler, don't smoke weed.
Drinking beers, eating wings, gambling on basketball.
Honestly, hashtag the American dream.
All right, guys, let's go through tomorrow.
And we will end the show giving you all our thoughts for today's game.
So you will get all of that.
We also have done it at points over the course of this week.
So we have fresh points, Brad's matchups for tomorrow.
So you goes to this week's 16 game, numero uno tomorrow.
Brad Evans and yours truly will be on the air for this game.
We're on from 11 to one tomorrow.
Sound the tip off.
Michigan, the one seat in the Midwest, a 12 and a half point favorite against St. Louis
and cream Abdul Jabbar, Robbie Avila, 161 and a half the total.
This will be Tyler, then Kenny, then may Tyler anything with Michigan and St. Louis.
I mean, how about the total in this game?
I kind of like the over in this game.
The way they both these teams score and the way the pace they play.
I've early thoughts was I'll bet the over had no opinion on the side.
Yeah, I like the over as well.
But my main bet here will be St. Louis to cover just with the way they played.
Yes, I did not expect I expected them to be Georgia, but not by 30.
So I think St. Louis scores enough.
They keep this game close plus 12 and a half for St. Louis.
St. Louis 66 points in the paint yesterday.
What an embarrassing performance by Georgia.
Like honestly, like Kirby, smart should coach the basketball team and the football team.
I don't know what Mike White took a break from being a backup quarterback in the NFL to coach Georgia.
I was a brutal last night.
How is how is St. Louis going to score against Michigan?
Like how how's it happening?
Like great.
Like Robbie Avila could do that again.
Georgia.
Now here's Michigan's big men.
I think Michigan might win by 20.
I'm on the other side there.
I might lay Michigan coming up tomorrow in the first game.
Louisville and Sparty, game numero dose.
This in the east region to go to the sweet 16.
Sparty, a four and a half point favorite.
151 and a half the total.
Mike L. Brown, Jr. will not play Louisville star freshmen for the Cardinals.
I think that second half of the USF.
The USF Louisville game is more we're going to see in this game.
I think Louisville just came out high and just took the lead in the USF right away with it.
I think I'm on a Michigan state guy.
I like them in this game on this four and a half.
I'll be better than the cover.
I love Michigan state in this game.
You're going to give me time is on a small point spread against Pat Kelsey.
I'll take that any day of the week.
Yeah.
I also love Michigan state in this game.
I think Michigan state wins by double digits tomorrow against a lower fill.
You better, you bet on this Friday.
Nick Kostos and the crew breaking down Saturday in the NCAA tournament.
I love Duke tomorrow.
I just think it's a great spot to lay Duke.
There's no, I guess they could come out as uninspired as they were against Sienna.
Duke and 11 and a half point favorite against the Hornfrogs.
135 and a half total.
I love Duke.
Yeah.
I have no bet on this game.
I'm not really worried about Duke in this game.
I think it's the next game I'm worried about when they're actually.
They're probably going to be motivated to attend this game.
When they play either St. John's, I'm assuming or Kansas.
If it's St. John's like, I'm still confident that St. John's going to beat them.
So I have no opinion on this game.
I'm more confident about in this game for Duke than the next game when they play St. John's.
If they play St. John's.
Nick, I'm with you on this one.
I love Duke.
My 11 and a half.
I think that they're going to win by 20.
I might lay alts.
Love it.
Love it.
Duke big over TCU Houston and Texas A&M.
By the way, can we?
Can there be a formal petition to like never allow St. Mary's to play another NCAA tournament game?
Like how many?
How many years do we need to see the exact same game played by St. Mary's?
And it's like always in a 7-10 matchup in the first round.
It's always late night.
The game always sucks.
They can never score any points.
And I understand their best players dealing with an illness.
Also like get this team off.
I don't want to watch it.
They're always favorite.
They always lose.
Shout out to Bucky ball in Texas A&M.
A&M beating.
St. Mary's yesterday.
A bit of a step up in class for A&M.
Taking on Houston tomorrow.
Cougs ten and a half point favorites.
142 and a half the total Tyler.
I have no opinion in this game.
I actually think I would lean Houston just because they're going to have the size difference in this game.
Texas A&M is not really that big.
Houston could just dominate the pain here.
We could see like St. Louis, Georgia 2.0.
In this game we're just seeing Houston's scoring a ton of the pain.
I have no pain in this game, but I lean Houston.
I actually like the under in this game.
142 and a half.
Both these teams played great defense in their first round matchup.
We know that's what Houston's known for.
I think this is like a 60 something 50 game.
So give me the under in this one.
I think am I crazy to think that Houston's got some variance here.
Meaning that like Houston could win by 30.
And I don't know if I'm surprised.
Would it shock you guys if A&M won this game?
Would that be like a massive surprise if Houston lost?
Now, I guess not because these are the kind of teams Houston loses too.
Like team that just truck up a bunch of threes and they just can't keep up.
Like we just talked about St. Mary's are the same exact way.
If they play a team that's shooting a ton of threes and they're making them,
they won't be able to keep up the way they play.
So I do see that.
Yeah, I wouldn't be shocked if they want.
I'll kept it close, but I still think Houston.
Well, that has the huge size difference in this game.
Danny, would you be surprised if Houston lost?
Yeah, I'd be shocked.
Tyler, correct me if I'm wrong or Nick?
If you know, has Houston lost to a team as bad or worse than Texas A&M all year long?
I'm looking at their schedule and I have not seen it.
No, they're worse lost against Texas Tech.
I'd made it to happen.
Yeah, I'd be shocked.
Okay.
I might take the points with A&M.
Small bet maybe for me with A&M tomorrow.
All right.
To the evening slate, Gonzaga has been getting bet over the course of the morning
this morning against Texas.
We thought we would get Gonzaga against.
Well, some people thought Gonzaga against AJ DeBonsen, BYU.
Not meant to be.
The Zag six and a half point favorites against Texas Tyler.
146 and a half the total.
I'm happy they can.
I kind of saw state kept that game close.
I love Gonzaga.
I think they could lay it on Texas here.
I'm BYU is like to me as there's that bad.
And Texas was able to beat them pretty easily.
Like this to me, that was more of a diamond on BYU.
I think Gonzaga runs them off the floor.
I like Gonzaga in this game.
But I'll just do a Gonzaga Michigan state money line parlay.
That's plus 107.
Okay.
I think Gonzaga wins and wins big.
I am with Tyler Illinois and VCU with the align.
I 11 and a half point favorites 151 and a half.
I feel like we have to have show karma here.
And I think we all need to bet VCU since Phil Martelli Jr. came on the show.
And I don't think we need to say anything more than that.
I'm going to have a small bet on VCU just because Phil Martelli Jr. came on the show Tyler.
I mean, it worked out when we had when we had great camping on with Oakland last year.
And they kept the game close and they're against NC State.
So I'm sure I have no opinion on this game.
But if you're going to do it, I'll write for our guy, Martelli.
Kenny, show bet on VCU tomorrow in solidarity.
Not just because we had Phil Martelli on the show.
We can use that as a reason, but also because we saw it last night.
This VCU team does not quit.
They'll keep this game close.
And I do think Illinois will win.
But maybe VCU keeps the game a little closer than expected.
Two more games to hit.
Vandy.
A one and a half point favor right now against Nebraska.
That's going to be a partisan crowd in favor of the Cornhuskers.
Nebraska's been getting bet.
146 and a half to total.
Tyler.
Give us like 15 seconds on this game.
Vandy and Nebraska.
I think I want to take Nebraska just because it's going to be basically a home.
Game for them.
I was shocked by the crowd the last day.
So I'll be in Nebraska in this game.
You know, Vandy's my final four pick.
I got to ride with them.
Definitely taking Vanderbilt on the money line.
And if they lose, well, there there goes one of my final four picks in the second round.
Yeah, I think I'm going to I think I'm going to have a strong opinion on that game.
Maybe Nebraska because it is going to be a home game for Nebraska tomorrow.
And last game.
Maybe we get stoned again.
Arkansas and 11 and a half point favorite against high points.
168 and a half to total.
I'm definitely betting high points here.
I mean, like Arkansas can score 90.
Why can't high point score 80 in this game?
I'm going to take high point plus the 11 and a half here.
I wouldn't be shocked if high point one.
Yeah, I think I do lean high point.
But Arkansas is so much bigger inside one.
They could score at will.
Honestly, that total might not be high enough.
Yeah, the totals 169 and a half.
I will take the over on that.
Give me 90 80.
We'll go over.
I did the math right there, right?
I think so.
And I will take high point to cover plus the points.
