So we're gonna bring him out look you know in truly in just a matter of minutes But before we do it today is the day that we were planning on previewing Or actually predicting right the American football conference northern division. That's aFC north There's been a lot of chatter around here about what we're thinking of doing now. It's time to put money where mouth is Chris Brockman. Why don't you go first under aFC north prediction for the 2026 season? Yeah, you got it. I think this is gonna be a division that gets two-poi-off teams Possibly a third, but I like Cleveland at the bottom I just don't think while they have a lot of great young players and did well in the draft the quarterback situation is still Completely hairy Pittsburgh could win 10 games, but I think they're third Baltimore second and I'm drinking the Bengal juice

I think they have a healthy season across the board the defense is better and Joe borough puts up an MVP type season and they win the north TJ Jeffers. Yes sir Who knows I'm kind of in step with you there Chris a little bit. I got the Browns finishing fourth. I mean No disrespect me. Yeah, of course Browns go to Browns back surprisingly a little bit I got the Steelers coming in third. I think they're gonna have a good season I just for some reason don't think there is good as the Bengals because this Bengals offense I just have a weird feeling is just gonna have a historical type Season and then number one. I'm looking forward to rich send me down to Brazil To watch these Raven Ravens play in week three and I got them winning the division. Well, I mean your fellow Cavoy honk Michael Irving was here yesterday said he loves Rio and then wouldn't tell the story. Oh man We forgot to say so bad. I don't think we do oh I do That Rio line is that it rest. It's not blaming on Rio. Okay. Oh, that's an old school Chris

I've been talking about the Bengals for a few months now and I do love Jesse Minter And I think he's gonna make that Ravens defense better and I do think you know The Steelers haven't proved on offense just from Mike McCarthy calling the plays and coming in there and being connected to the quarterback In a way that they can go back to the future The Browns is much as I'm like talking about them as a sleeper team. I just Just can't choose them anything but fourth And I'm with you as well that the Steelers can be a 10 win team and make it And I at the end of the day. I'm just going with the Bengals They have the best offense to put up points. They have Finally seemingly gotten a beast on defense if dex sexy dexie can turn back the clock to two and three and four years ago not last year And let's go Let's get Joe borough on the field with good field position and a lead Let's give Joe borough a chance to have his quick start stand up

Let's have him stand up And I just love The way that he's been talking I love the way that he has been talking I love the way that he's speaking into existence and I love the way that he's focused So I'm going to Bengals to win the division Man, I'll tell you what this AFC North the I'm going to be It's going to be lit when I said that we're going to bring out Mark Wahlberg right away. I'm not lying Mark Wahlberg is in our green room no longer by any means is in theaters nationwide tomorrow This is going to be great Mark Wahlberg in person when we come back The rich eyes and show podcast You This is a good one. Yes. It's a good one. Our radio audiences return Mark Wahlberg is here We just on the TV side just saw a trailer for by any means an outstanding cast yaya Abdul-Mateen And also Mark Wahlberg right at the top of the flow chart great to see you man. Thank you, brother

That's this movie brother. Yeah, this one is intent. I've been in a lot of movies I've played some pretty memorable characters, but this one definitely is right at the top of the list What drew you to playing Greg Scarpa the material the unlikely partnership And the the partnership and the bond that was created between these two guys, you know This is based on a true story on a night I knew a lot about Greg Scarpa aka the grim reaper who's probably had more you know recorded murders in the history of the mob than any other mob figure And when I found out that he was involved In cracking the Mississippi burning case and this other case In 66 with a voting activist. I was just blown away And you know, it wasn't like he was the typical, you know FBI and former this guy thought he was James Bond And he was out there doing things that nobody expected and you know when people couldn't get answers and information He had a very specific method of getting lots of information quickly And he was trying to encourage his partner that this is the way things need to be done and

It was just such a great script, you know elegance bradden who I was a fan of seeing his first film He was directing the movie it was one of the blacklist script So one of the best unproduced screenplays in Hollywood and you know I would I had flirted with the idea of playing Scarpa in the past With with Antoine Fuqua and a film that he had based on Greg's life in and around the Colombo Wars And so this was an opportunity for me to go and play that part and to play a supporting role Which has a lot a lot of bite to it no doubt man and you could see there's a you got something Yeah, we got a little bit of prosthetics put on a lot of weight spent The entire time with Greg Jr Who was also you know he actually rose further in the ranks than his dad And in the mob and he was new to being home and he worked on the movie with me the entire time No kidding and I think the thing for me that really humanized Scarpa Which kind of set it off for me when I was finally in costume

You know I had that was my real hair people think I was wearing a way I was like the departed hair. It's just like I have to have this crazy comb over that's all my real hair And uh and I was like I got got ready came out was in wardrobe makeup and Greg and Linda were sitting together And he was like oh my god that's daddy And I was like it just put it in perspective It just humanized him for me in a way I was like okay, here's the guy who just lived in this world Mm-hmm Which a lot of us don't really understand and what he had to do to survive Um, and uh, you know, I felt like okay. I got a connection to this guy and uh, and you know just you know This guy it makes up his own rules and the FBI to this date has never acknowledged Yes, that Scarpa was part of helping the federal government. Yeah, and it's crucial Period, and oddly enough he never he never helped the government convict anybody who was in the mafia, you know He utilized all of his relationships connections to help his guys

Get away with things Crazy story fascinating and this is in theaters near you Tomorrow and what a cast to yeah, junkarlas, bs. It would not picture no trailer Yep, yeah, davis right there Yeah, Josh as well Yeah, yeah, I'm doing the team who's phenomenal. Yeah, he has amazing red hot right now amazing. Yeah, yeah He's been doing a lot. I said yeah, yeah, but I'm saying yes He uh, he's been doing a lot of amazing work and you know, it was it was just so cool to be in there with this like a younger kind of Sirius actor, you know, obviously classically trained, but um It was amazing to see him play this part and carry this movie. I think people are gonna be blown away all right Again, it by any means available in theaters nationwide tomorrow, September 4th Mark Walberg here on the program you excited for your Patriot season. What are you guys? I am We had a pretty good year last year. I should say a little bit a little bit above what the expectations were

I should say so um and look I obviously we got a tougher schedule this year according to everybody else, but I think uh I think Mike's got those guys really believing in themselves Drake May is is definitely the truth and I think um, you know, they've they've added some nice pieces It's exciting. It's exciting to see what's going on now the red socks are playing good They were I was just trying to figure out who was gonna beat the Yankees for me. I was rooting for the Dodgers And then you know, it's like well, wait and we might actually be able to do this ourselves because the blue jays are now kind of You know at the bottom of the barrel tempo looks good, but um, it's it's fun It's nice to see those guys playing and young kids playing together and uh, you know sweeping the Dodgers Doing it without Roman Anthony without incredible without crochet Incredible, but you know, I guess so when did you did you go to the old you know the old foxboro when you were like on those metals those metals I did I did I was I was at the uh, I was at foxboro quite a few times. I asked Logan Tony Eason when we talk uh, yeah, yeah, I grew up in Eason and I also in

1990 opened for the new kids at Gillette I open for them Two days there two days at Dodger stadium She's craziness see you're in foxboro opening what the just the foxboy. Yeah, yeah 60,000 whatever the number was that going for craziness But but uh, you know always being such a diehard fan and seeing you know seeing them do so well for such a long time obviously We're Brady and those guys didn't build balachack Melchack, no there's some there's some rumors that's a talk. I haven't read the script yet But there was supposed to be a bill balachack biopic script coming my way We'll see and you know we've been working on Pete Rose for quite some time right we're hoping to be into production Sometime in early 27 But the balachack biopic crazy who plays balachack hopefully me Oh, yeah, okay, well listen they asked they said would I be interested? I said why would I do? Of course I would be I haven't read the script

Friend of mine actually I think who actually produced and financed this film uh-huh has the rights and According to them I haven't heard this or anything for Bill that he is interested and involved Oh So that makes it a lot easier You know interested in involved yes about a biopic on himself yes And you would play Bill I would I would Be very interested to explore that the possibility that's for sure okay And so do you already do a balachack or no, but I I got you know listen I don't want to put it out there like that you know the same thing with Pete like this will be endless amount of time Impreporation thing like with Scarborough, you know, this would be months if not a year of work to prepare So would you play Pete would you play Pete Rose? Yes, yeah, but this is Pete This is Pete when he's about to break the record when he's managing right and then you know dealing with your money and all that stuff And so we've we've had a script and we've been working on various um there's been various versions of the script

But we're getting very close So Pete Rose Of Of when he got popped yeah, yeah, but starting with him, you know kind of chasing breaking the record managing the reds Player manager and then you know all the other stuff that was going on very colorful life I always thought if he came out and did like an opera win free tour Saying don't be like me gambling can break up families gambling just to start I don't want to gamble anymore and just be like he'd be in the whole thing I really swear yeah, I think there was many things that he could have done But I don't you know, I maybe he was just so far down that path that it was like now to come clean We maybe he just thought it would be it would it would be embarrassing for him or whatever, but um, I think now Postman he'll he'll walk right and I think first. I mean now now that he's here, but fortunately no Yes, it's it's very unfortunate, but um, but for me He was such an amazing player and look we have all had seen many many great people

Fall from grace, but I think he really learned his lesson and I think who he came out How he came out in the other side I think is the thing that matters and there is a cautionary tale there But there's also a kind of raging bull wolf wolf of Wall Street kind of amazing wildly entertaining fun ride and you know I I just adore him. I think he was one of the greatest. Obviously ever. That's in 27. Yeah. Yeah, hopefully Yeah, we've been working on it's like like the fighter and um, you know a couple of other movies that we've done That take the good ones take time. It's developed them to get them right They take time. I just hope I'm still you know believable and playing him at that age, which is you know, they got toward the end of his career. I think you I think you'll pull it off Um, I've got a bunch of questions for you about so many things that you've been awesome and in so many some pop culture iconic pop culture Moments that you've been involved in I got questions for you We have a segment called celebrity true or false where we run down your list of stuff that you've done to see what's true or not

Sure what we've read And we've got some great Production value including somebody you're in the departed with hit it Celebrity true or false You can handle the truth You know, that that boy sounds familiar to you right there pretty like uh, okay, great Um, we'll get to that in a second first up True or false mark walberg the first buggy nights prosthetic was way too long and had to be shortened And you've kept the second one at home and you still own it I think the only one that I actually tried fitted or um, there was one that just kind of came up and hit me in the head And that was uh, that was not the kind of you know, you know, you couldn't you couldn't show I don't think I could say the charm, but right, you know, um, no, so I still have the one the one Yes, so it but I guess the one that I wore in the film the one you wore in the film Which is not the original one is what you're saying Alan asked howard These gentlemen were actually putting it on me. Okay, is that right?

I had no ideas for royalty was here my goodness I imagined Alan is that what you said? Yeah, I imagine Alan's got a very Touch working with Roger Corman days. Okay. Wow had no idea But I guess if you will this was a two-part question, but you still have the the other one. I do Do you ever bring it out at all? I don't I moved it once when I moved it was like You know, it's like a homey the clown thing you just started Bob moment ahead with You wanted to get crazy, but I think those days are past us don't play that what a movie man I got a second one for you from this film true or false We had Thomas Jane on he was kind of talking about this and now he can follow up here Paul Thomas Anderson told the kid in the firecracker scene To light them whenever he wanted so you and the rest of the actors didn't know when they would explode Yeah, he was just randomly lighting them off for four days For days, but we were in that scene. I think it was up to four days without for millennia and you and you and Thomas Jane

Yeah, and Cosmo Seen were kind of blacked out and I was just like you know, they're kind of crazy thousand yard stare That kind of long close up of me in that moment. Yeah, it's just like when we get the Four days in real life. I was like you were in those it was yeah was I think it was it was a long time Was definitely more than today. We shot that scene. I think it was up to like four days I mean and then just and I just worked with Thomas Jane again on not played dirty with Shane black Love Thomas James great guy came and Played with us on that movie that movie again. I could go on and on and on and on You know and how Intense it was and also a great time. Yeah, it was just fun. It's such a funny Right. Yeah, and the scene of the world you'd never seen before correct. I was telling you and John Well, yeah, I never behind the scenes like it if you will but you and John see Riley With the the song, you know, you know, now you were singer. Yeah, so did you purposefully tank it singing you've got the touch

I mean I was a Quase rapper. I wasn't really a singer. Okay, and no that was me trying to belt it out a little bit and we were having fun with it It's obviously there was supposed to be bad But it wasn't that hard to be bad. Let's just say that okay Hard to be bad. I gave it a little bit more effort in balls up with me and Paul Walter Yeah The YP the whole business. Yeah, that was that was a lot of fun with Yeah, down he's dead That's right. Yeah, Robert Downey senior right. Yeah, and then Sean Penn's brother Michael Penn. That's right Was the engineer you got a good Bert Reynolds story if you don't mind me asking. I think I could say it now Yeah, I remember it well, you know Bert Who was the biggest Star for over a decade Right was now kind of you know asked to do this movie. I at one point I think deniro was attached when I first Was flirting with the movie and then they were talking about

Oh, there were lots of other people That were That were attached at one point or another or talked about for that role and then ultimately they went to Bert and He he was having a hard time with the subject matter The dialogue and I remember the first time that He came onto the set we were doing the scene where we meet in the in the Diswashing room and I'm washing the dishes and I'm like we're about to shoot and you know Paul and I have been rehearsing and I've been doing scenes with with Phil Hoffman and Jesse Riley and Thomas James like we we had rehearsed a lot before but this was actually first day of physical production I've physical principle photography So he comes up to me and he goes hey, Bert Really doesn't he's not getting the rhythm of the writing and everything so he wants to do an Irish accent He's gonna do an Irish accent and I thought he's choking around Guy comes out. Oh, yeah darling you're looking at her. I'm erred. It's I'm like what the

I mean he looked like he wanted to kill me He was so upset he walked off the set Paul's like hey, what are you doing? I said I didn't think he was serious I was like I want to do Russian. I got to Russian. Can I play dirt as a Russian? And like and then of course he we ended up shooting that scene That was the only scene that we actually reshot Really yeah, and that was a true story and I remember unfortunately for him you know for whatever reason We had seen the movie He did not like the movie he fired his agent fired his manager whoever you know was very upset about the movie had a lot of negative things to say about the movie Then he gets nominated. Yeah, right then he starts changing his tune a little bit But I remember being on this on the red carpet of the At the New York Film Festival He kind of grasped me and had locked and he always very sweet to me You know, um, you know, he knew that I was a man who appreciated his work and I was it from the old school my dad

Used to take me to movie so with him and Jack and all these guys like those are the guys that I looked up to So he goes kid. I don't understand. I don't know what they're seeing this movie But let's just go with it and I was like I love the movie I love it. I mean movies. I mean to me it's fantastic You know, but um, but you know, I just think he just had a hard time you know with um, but he was great in the movie You too. I mean in Philip Seymour Hoffman and oh the entire cast I mean Don Cheetle I William H. May C Yeah, and more and the whole list on and other I mean everybody was was was great in the movie, you know Yeah, and I will it's a remote drop for me and no matter where what I'm doing if it's on I got to watch it to Conclusion yeah, they were like Sydney Pollock at one point was talked about to play that part and oh to what the for the Colonel Yeah, no for the director for the director for jack you know jack Warner Wow, all right, we've got a few more here. I'm a baker haul. I'm in the cast. He's just oh yeah

Great celebrity true or false with Mark Wahlberg true or false speaking of being nominated It took you some time Took some time from Martin Scorsese to convince you to be in the department. Is that true? Well, not to play that particular part We were talked about doing another part studio was like well. I want so and so and you know um, and then they were kind of Leo and Marty were kind of pushing for me and then it came down to The economics and then Marty was like all right, you know, we got to do what the studio wants and then He talked to Ari and was like hey would Mark play the role of Sargenting him? It's a great part and Ari was like yeah, he'll do it and then I'm like I get a call from Marty He's like I'm so excited you doing this. I said I ain't doing that What Ari calls me five is what the fuck is wrong with you? He goes go see him talk to him You know, we think this this great potential there And I was like dude I was shooting four brothers at the time. So it was in Toronto I was shooting four brothers and it's like I'm making a movie. It was about to do invincible after that

I was like I'm not doing it. It's not happening. And there's like I'll fly it down there go talk to him Like I don't like to go spend a weekend in New York. I go see him. I'll see him for a free ride. I'll go see him So I went and and then I read the script again and I was like This is an opportunity for me with that particular part How to show these guys this is my wheelhouse, you know And I said you gotta just let me do whatever I want with whoever And he goes whatever you want to do and that was kind of how it happened. So I said okay So I'm gonna go to town and you owned it. Yeah, it was fun. It was fun It was like looking there was a combination of my dad and all the guys that I grew up with and knew and I was Just like I felt more comfortable And more familiar with that world than anybody else scenes with you involved when going back and forth with you Yeah, yeah, I was gonna rack those back. I watched them back because the the language and the way you talk to each other And then I had a hair thing because I was doing invincible. So I was trying to grow the hair And then you know, it got a little got a little content. Okay, so then let me ask you about a jack store

The jack baby. What do you got that's my guy? You know I met jack very early on played a lot of golf with him with peshy um The greatest golf stories is I think one of the great jack stories is uh, you know We're kind of staying there about to play and somebody else is out there on the first tee and he just goes and he just hits the ball I'm like this people right then pesh is like I don't want to watch watch what happens watch what happens He gets in the car he starts driving the guy goes hey, what are you doing? Do you think he goes jack? Nicholson. Oh, yeah, ways to him. Go sit the ball again I'm like, let's go catch him. So we go up to catch him two or three holes later. But uh, he had a good point. I mean he's jack He's away no matter what the day is honor, but uh, but it was great work with him. I think you know You know, we had we only had one scene together, right? But obviously one of my favorites A few more left here Celebrity true of false with Mark Wahlberg true of false kids approach you and ask you to sing the F your F you thunder song from 10 all the time

All ages to yeah in appropriate area here. You got permission to do this You got permission where we go Well Yeah, cuz that's like my I remember my kids were like Dad we got to be able to see this movie two in a teddy bear. I'm driving him to school We just went through Beverly Hills coming here and I was like oh, this is where we dropped the kids on School and everything else and they see in the billboards. Yeah, and all the side of the bus me and the teddy bear like to have Finally, we get to see when your movie isn't like no, I let them see the fight between me and Ted with no sound He was like whipping me in the ass with the antenna and everything, but um Yeah, that one was uh, that was hard to explain because I when I was Watching because I never really watched family guy and Seth was making the movie and again It was like book United's one of these things was like when you finally read the material You see that there's so much potential. It's just like one of the best scripts I've ever read like a great buddy comedy But when they're telling you this guy had a teddy bear when he was little and he like wish did to be alive and it came alive They just sit around smoking weed and saying not so I'm like, I don't know about that one

So they're like Seth directing it, you know, they've got a they did a test on the bear and all that stuff So I'm like, okay, and let me watch some some Some family guy so watch a hundred the episode of family guy and I'm sitting there with my kids I'm like, it's a cartoon we could watch this They get locked in the vault vault once throwing up the other ones eating the throw up They're getting drunk all this stuff. I mean, it's just complete not a cast me and my kids laughing hysterically my wife comes in It's like what do you guys watch and she's like what and then of course I'm in trouble for yes for a week that there was inappropriate It was deemed inappropriate for the kids, but um Such a such a good time such a funny movie. It was uh, you know big swing I remember telling my wife the I the concept it's it's a hard pitch like boogie night, you know Yes, that movie is not an easy movie to pitch right so the 60 second pitch usually doesn't work You know, you got to get someone to really kind of lean into the material and then once you saw what the potential was It was like it was a no brainer the scene that it pops up in my algorithm quite a bit I believe it's from Ted to is the F scott Fitzgerald scene. Yeah, like why are we f what why Judy Bloom?

So you know, we just did the we just did the first season of the animated series. That's right By the way, it's going to be I heard great listen if you know Comedy went politically correct for a little while those days are over Well, let's just say that all right. I can't wait for it. I can't wait for that Two last ones for you and then I'll let you go mark wallberg true or false You agreed to do the other guys with Will Ferrell and Adam McKay even before they pitched the movie to you like true true, so I was You know, there were comedic elements and um and films that I'd done and performances that I'd done But I ever did like a full blown comedy. I did a small part in date night with Tina Fey and Steve Carrell um, and that was fun But you know, I'd met a couple people and I was just like I don't know and you know It was never really like a specific movie that was on the table But when I met Will and Adam we went to eat And I don't know. There's just something about first of all Will's whole philosophy is he's such a sweet guy He just loves to make people laugh. Yes, and other comics are not what they appear to be on screen

A little more serious and then I'm like is this how it's gonna be on the set? Are we gonna actually have fun? I like I don't want to you know I don't want to be super serious and then all of a sudden everybody goes And then all of a sudden cotton. It's like back to you know hiding in the corner So it was like I don't know. I just met with him in like five minutes into the thing I'm like hey by the way, you know, and Adam is just Just as funny as well. I'm like If you guys want to make a movie, I'm in they're like what? And look we haven't told you the story yet. I was like yeah, well you can or you you don't have to But I'm in like you're so random. I was like I was like no, I just I really like you guys's energy You know, and you're just you know, I'm an intuitive guy. I'm like I like your energy I think you know we could have fun together and make a movie and then they were like great And they told me the story which I thought was hilarious And then literally three months later I got the script and then we're off making the movie It's kind of just how it happened. Well the two scenes from that to jump out again. Well, there's so many of them I mean obviously with Michael Keaton and quoting you know TLC That's funny and

But the two scenes we had Brett Galman here talking about the scene with Christina. Yeah, I was just gonna say him with him with the shaved He was so crazy He said at one point he he ad-libbed by kissing you on the cheek which kind of sent things in a different He was trying to he was trying to test the waters a little But he was also very respectful and You know, he was so funny You know, the thing is and I was like really telling the world like wow dude This is a lot because he had so many great comedic actors coming in And they all come in and they're on fire. I mean they're on 12 right and I'm like will how do you keep up? I said oh man, it's exhausting I like because it's like you know you got to kind of match that energy um, you know, but uh, you know That those moments were so funny and they could start getting a little bit annoyed with me because I don't know I was just really hung up on this thing about the idea that they were trying to make it seem like will would actually be married to even Mendez and I was like

I don't think I'm ever buying into that so I'm like I'm like I'm really pushing this Like this narrative right and I'm like this is where I'm going with all these scenes improvising anytime I'm with her around her. Hey, I'm like I'll be there for you if anything happens to him I'm like trying to push him into danger like I want him out of the picture and I want to help this woman So I like do not believe that there are a couple and they're like yeah, but you don't do it so much I'm like no, this is and if you look it even like the cinematographer He was most of the time he would set up shots And he would fall asleep While we were shooting the takes and then he would get up to move the camera and re-light the scene He was laughing hysterically at this because he knew exactly what I was talking about right So I was like no, no, there's no way No way that this guy This No way And uh, so that was your choice. Yeah, yeah, it was it was in there a little bit But it was like I just ramped it like everything was about like when we went outside

We did all the improv about by Sheila Alan going out of the lecture I just talked to her You know um and I kept telling him like look if anything happens You know I'm gonna take care You're like no really Who is this? The old bone chain This is just like a hobo And anytime will goes into like gator and all these things and of course I'm improvising about the tuna and lion All the stuff at work, you know, we get in the car. I never laughed so much On a on a set so funny that movie is a classic. It's so good last one for you true or false you took real hits From real former NFL players making invincible. Oh, yeah I was getting laid out no kidding and the crazy well you see me the one shot getting earhold and like um We you know we've played lots of sports So I've never actually but I never actually football especially. Yeah, I played ice hockey with equipment I've never put on pads on in football right mm-hmm

So I'm like well, I'm out there playing with you know at nx NFL guys and we had current Alina arena league guys And uh, yeah, there was a shot where I was like running down the sideline and I get ear hold and it was actually It was probably one of the bigger hits that I took and all the Oklahoma drills all that stuff was getting ragged off And I was trying to be so nice to these guys. I mean every night in my trailer. I have a barbecue cold beers Everything food fresh And you know and it didn't matter what's we got between the lines? Oh Did man 130 degree heat and we were at Penn University But it was one of the great times. I mean, I had a little scooter that I put eagle wings on and I would drive at home at the end of the day With ice packs all over my knees and shoulders and you know, I had my hair blown in the wind like papali But you know to be able to to do that movie yeah And what the Eagles mean to Philadelphia and to be named an honorary fillet, Elfin as a Boston guy when we have so many great rivalries It was an honor. It was an honor. It was a great opportunity for me to fulfill one of my childhood dreams of putting on a uniform

Playing you know like I was out there in the NFL, but yeah, we went we went hard every day I remember I brought my main stunt double He's gonna get mad for this but Sean Graham they put him in the pads. They should look like a little kid Is it was all baggy is it flat ass And fit so they only used him in the um in the a sandlot games Where he took a hit over the car and but then that you know, we were just out there We were out there getting it getting hit. Yeah, all right. So that I had a couple other guys who were in the arena league Who were out there and did some doubling for me except but we were we were out there well Dude this has been amazing. This has been so much fun. I appreciate you coming all the way down here too Just of course. Do you want to do you want to talk about who you're playing golf with before you got here? Can you just speaking of versus a Philadelphia? You're Boston versus Philadelphia. You're just playing with oh No, I wasn't playing with him. I was coming up the ninth hole and I saw this Short fellow on the second hole of the era. Yeah, I got a looking over here Levy were looking for the balls and then I said is that Kevin Hart?

So I went over there and uh, I said hey, I was I want to send me your address because I want to send you a package for you and the kids I want to send some stuff to you guys and he had changed his number and he's like don't worry three months We're playing golf like because I I he's a member of Sherwood. Okay. I'm a member of Sherwood I sent a nice Remfrends letter for him. I said don't don't ruin my My standing over there. That's sure. But um, but he's playing the game. He's been three months. He's going to be ready to play I think it's it's great that he loves the games. I don't know where he found his passion for the game I don't know if it was might have been in like fanatics fest or something these guys You know these guys get out there and then they do something that's out of their comfort zone and then if they don't look cool It's it's a problem. So he got the bug, but everybody you know when you gravitate towards the game Everybody realizes it's the greatest game ever The most challenging is where all the athletes go to kind of get their fix after you know playing whatever sport their primary sport Yeah, and uh, so I think he's dedicated he'll uh, hopefully he'll

What three months? I mean, well three months listen three months is not enough to I've been playing for 30 years And I'm just getting gems now Why did I just think about just when he compressive the ball and just making sure just staying back like these little simple things That just help you be more consistent. Well good luck to him By any means available in theaters tomorrow September 4th A terrific cast go see it what a story it is and it is based on a true story So check it out and you the man thanks for coming in here Really appreciate it anytime. Thank you. I got you said we barely scratched the surface At smart ball bird right here everybody right here on the rich. I'll go back to rapid Rich Eisen show the podcast Well, this is a first for us uh because we were all set to let Mark Walberg go on with the rest of his days But he's like you you want to do the win-loss game for the Patriots? Absolutely

Get our undefeated season honestly. I was walking out So you know, I'm the fetus season by request here we go Mark Walberg won't stick around and let me ask you a question first before I start. Yes, sir What do you think the Patriots schedule? What do you think the Patriots going to finish out this year? What do you say? I wouldn't I think that last year Was remarkable and it would be difficult for them to come up with 13 regular season wins this year I think they're going to be like 11 wins 12 13 That's what was good all the people saying nine and nine I think I think that's honestly what when I looked at the schedule the first time I was thinking We're going to have at least the same record as last year. Well, I mean the kids really special That's for sure the quarterback is really I just Wish if he would have just played freely In the big game the way he played in other games. Yeah, where he just let it fly did his thing

You know what I mean? I just think I don't know if it was the pressure or whatever I got to him the the size of the moment I don't know and this is not excuse me. I don't know how healthy he was for that game Always definitely banged. I think I don't know how healthy he was and You know As you know what I like because he hasn't come out and talked about it and there's no excuse not at all right Not at all I love him and just Kurt Warner before you just before we got to it here Kurt Warner calls he says he's the best deep thrower in the game. He calls them handoffs. Wow He's like he's like he's handing the ball to keep Sean booty or now. It's going to be a J brown Well, I like that and Kurt and I actually were both Horse dads. Oh, our girls jump and the question in my daughter was just competing in Michigan The nationals and you're sending me some nice messages about how my daughter did. Yeah, it's one of my favorite people Great and I know I just know you know from all horse dads. This is why you're still doing movies Exactly it's getting it's getting worse. Oh from what I heard

I'm lucky my daughter doesn't want to do anything with the horses. All right. Here we go music. Please here we go New England Patriots opener against the defending Super Bowl champion Seahawks. I think I think it's at Seattle I don't know I think they have championship hangover. I think we win that game. All right one and oh home for the Steelers and Aaron Rogers Like McCarty nothing we're winning that game two and oh at the Jacksonville Jaguars We're winning that game three and oh heading into the Buffalo Bills and their new stadium. Mm-hmm I you know what? I really liked their coach last year and the coach that they had for the last 10-12 yeah, it was phenomenal. I don't I don't know if that necessarily made the right decision I think we split with Buffalo. Mm-hmm, but I'll give Buffalo that one hold right there. I'll give Buffalo that one Three-in-one home for the Raiders. Yeah, Raiders. Sorry Mike Melman. Sorry. Ari. You go Raiders. It's host You guys want to beat us last year. That was a flu You won almost every game last year

You know and and that's the game that home then almost the definitely cost your home field advantage I think yeah the day against the the Broncos, but you still won that game anyway home for the game all those games The rugby home for the Jags the chargers those games were all Texans all ugly. Uh, we're gonna beat who we got the Jets? Yeah All right, all right skip that one. I haven't won at the Bears on a Thursday night short week to kick off week seven Yeah, we're winning that game soon. Six and one at the dolphins Toast seven and one home for the only the only game that the Jets and the dolphins are gonna get a sniff at Isn't it play each other? Okay, that's what that's what those two okay Make a note of that noted seven and one home for the Packers Oh, we're giving the Packers no love eight and one Uh, I think picking on the Lions in Germany. How about that one? Yeah, I think the Lions could win that game I think the travel the jet lag um Unfortunately the Lions have just not lived up to I've always been a big Lions fan. I spent a lot of time in Detroit

Those guys haven't really had much much luck in that town. So I've always been rooting for them um Love the coach and I love the quarterback. So I I'll give the I'll give the Lions that one all right now It's eight and two you're you're off a buy Uh out here against the chargers on a Sunday night. Yeah, we're beating the chargers. Okay That's now nine and two Buffalo at home. Okay, ten and two Minnesota 11 and two at the Kansas City. I'm really interested to see what they're gonna do this year I don't know why the Seahawks traded their running bag. I mean what what what happened? What did you still want to pay him? That's terrible. It's got Super Bowl MVP. I know the only guy we could stop right um I'll give Kansas City that all right 11 and three at the Jets Jets. Yeah 12 and three I love the I love the wasn't even a speed bomb. Yeah, and I think we went out we went out we were better than last year four good. I mean in three. There we go Mark that's

Out of my mark. All right, let's go. There you go. I was expecting 19. I love it. By the way, it's just I thought about it. I was gone up but I figured you know, no, you know, yeah, you you this this will be a little humble but I just think you know what I really think they're gonna play good I think you know um Okay, they're able to got these guys really believing they can do something very good. I gotta go. I'll play everybody They're way for it. They got to do it by any means. Who do you think who do you think? Who do you think? When's the Fc? Oh, there's a part of me that thinks the Bengals do it. The bang. Yeah There's part of me that thinks they do it. This could be Buffalo's year or it's the Chiefs are back I just said those were Yeah, but Texas, but knowing could easily do. I mean that they're it's a wide open coach. Yeah, we'll see it'd be nice to you know Be Buffalo one more time when the division That would be cool. Love having a tonight. Love Josh Allen

You guys a beast. I mean my god. I know right. He's like Rathlisberger. You just can't get him down Yeah, the with Rathlisberger uh, it's the same thing the play begins after he's hit exactly once he's hit the play begins with Josh Allen By any means available in theaters nationwide tomorrow with this man Mark Walper.
