20 minutes from the University of Hospital sports desk. We are sports radio 92 3 the fan. I didn't realize my credibility was on the lot. I didn't realize that credibility was bliss. Hey, you know, right are going to join us today. 20 he'll make that joke. Tomorrow is when Darrell joins us. Also Nathan's girl 9 a.m. to preview the Browns and Jags. I I said early in the show. I'm picking the Browns to beat the Jaguars week one Sunday. This coming Sunday I'm picking the Browns to win. Well, that be the biggest upset of the weekend and Lime immediately jumped on me and I'm sure a lot of people who for whatever reason are tweeting in Lime and not me to stick it to me. Are you getting a lot of people saying of course, same old sorry, ask Ken is that what they're doing? Obviously there was a little bit at the start, but I think people genuinely yeah, they had to go to work and so now we got new people to talk to and they're going to think I'm full of it too.
I can explain why I think they're going to win. I think there is always a a zeal, a need for some not necessarily home cooking, but like, all right, guys, come on. The football season is starting. We don't like the quarterback. You don't like the quarterback, but it'd be really cool to celebrate a win and have us on the highlight shows. I don't like the situation any better than you do. And to have people talk favorably about our football team in the direction. Think about it this way. If they come out and they pull off the upset nine and a half point underdogs, whatever they are and they win. I think people will at least be excited about Todd Monkin, Casey Katsepcione, Boston fan and Katsepcione. Katsepcione. There's no sh in there. There's no there should be. I say Katsepcione like I say other words like issue Katsepcione. There you go. Okay. Where are you saying that you have a good running game that the offensive line is clicking that the defense doesn't fall off a cliff without Miles Garrett and Jim Schwartz. It sounds like a big item to do all this stuff though. Well, we but that if they pull off the win, it's how it's like you are begging them to do all these things.
You expect none of it. And if and if it happens, what? But the difference is I think there's talent to do a lot of that stuff that I just talked about. Okay. There we go. Like we don't have the talent to pull off any of that. So you asked because you say I picked them to win week one every year. Yeah. I will answer you that I think that it's the most likely game that a knock so great football team can win. I think I treat this like I would a wild card appearance. Let it ride. We'll see where it goes. One other note. No, team that's made its first wild card appearance. Not like the bills who are like this is ridiculous. We shouldn't be playing in this game. Well, not like that. One other note, Jeff Tanshek, 19 loyal listener. The show while he's also doing his reports. What do you say he said he got a thought of the background? He does. He said he's got all the other people listening. He said it is going to be 90 degrees with a heat index of 100. Oh my God. Although I have the cooling fans down there, right? They got the pool that you can dip into, right? Well, you can't go jump it in there with your football equipment on.
That's probably what they're missing. They need that. They should have it as an option. Are they getting rid of the pool when they redo that stadium? Get rid of that stupid pool. I think they're going to large it. I think that will be a bigger part of the story. Get rid of that stupid pool. Or at least you know what you can do. At least put up some sort of partition between you and the bottom half of the people that are in that pool. Well, I don't need to see it. It's like I'm going to swim up red zone. Well, that actually might be kind of fun. There's no way in hell I'd ever get in that pool. You know, many things are filthy and an NFL stadium in the first place. You guys want to go jumping in that pool. You're crazy. Well, where would you rather be? Would you rather be a distantarian that pool? Getting in a brawl in the 500 section or in the pool where everybody seems. I'm ready. You know what? I'd rather be in a brawl in the 500 section than be in a pool where I can get syphilis and Jacksonville. We have not seen a fight break out yet in that pool. There's always a first time. I'm sure we've seen a fight break out in the pool. Anyway, you asked if it affects my credibility. Yeah, ask him again. Well, I wanted to know if Jim and Syracuse said I was crazy.
If every year Ken says, Hey, I'm coming around. I think they're going to win the opener. I think they're going to win week one. I don't think they're going to win a bunch of games. I didn't pick them to win eight games this year and say it was the freaking Shangri-La of the seas of the way that they quite. But Nick didn't pick them to win the first two games either. So so again, they're going to go all into but somehow they're streak to win eight games. But we're still going to talk about quarterbacks. Then there are going to go on the show. He came on the show this morning. So you get you guys can go back and use the rewind feature and listen to that because I still don't understand how we're going to start out. Go into and then you're saying that next year we're picking a quarterback, but should our Sanders going to take us to eight wins. Because if should our Sanders takes this team to eight wins after you start out Oh and two, I don't think we're talking much about the quarterbacks. Am I wrong? It becomes the Baker Mayfield thing all over again. Why do you want something that you think is better? It's two in a hand one in a bush. We do that. We'll do this all over again.
Baker Mayfield had dedicated fans. But our Sanders has dedicated fans. So to Nick's own logic and yet he explained it and I was nice to him, but it still just doesn't make any sense to me. He says he'll fight people over the off season about taking a quarterback. All right. But if should our Sanders takes this team that I just said has holes gaping holes after the starters and they're going to need these guys. All right. I'm not talking about week one here. Hope put that on the show. I was in week one. I heat index of 100. And he is making fun of because it's Florida. He says that's every day in Florida. Well, yeah, but we spend every day in Ohio. And so of the browns over the last how many weeks. So there's not really a whole lot of time you can spend down in Florida. And less during the last two and a half weeks when you had the off days, they all flew down to Florida and just sat there in the heat to maybe acclimate themselves to it. Whether it plays a factor and we thank Jeff Tanchek for listening to the show and checking in with us about that. But damn it. What I'm pointing out is you don't disagree with, by the way, right? No.
Okay. Do you know what I'm asking you about the disagree? Yeah. I don't blame you looking over there. 216474 to below 92. The reason I say they can win week one, excuse me, the reason I'm picking them to win Sunday. Yes, part of it has to do with just the odds of week one. The Raiders, who at the number one overall picked this year, the Raiders, the Raiders were terrible. We beat the Raiders. We barely had to come up with a game plan. It was almost like they were trying to lose to us. The Raiders went out and beat New England week one last year. Seattle lost week one last year. We've seen really weird results and it really going to the same. We've seen the Caroline. I think there was the year the Caroline Panthers went one in 15. I think they won week one and then proceeded to lose 15 games in a row. Like week one is crazy and it doesn't really matter the generation week one as a wildcard. So if they can eliminate, if they do what Todd Munkin is freaking out about, which is eliminate bleepie football, eliminate pre snap penalties, like illegal motions and like
things you should know, things that you are grown adult football players, you guys should know we shouldn't be stepping into this. Like that was where I'm thinking like last year, I'm like, they're not paying attention to Kevin anymore. This is a slop as it gets. I don't care what you're talking about with personnel. And when I talk about personnel for this game, there's healthiest are going to be this year. You will start to get unhealthy as the as this game on Sunday goes on. So hopefully they're able to make it through practice today and tomorrow, everything's going to be hunky Dorian just fine with our main players. But as of right now, what do we got? We got Tevin Jenkins with a back injury, but he was limited Parker Brailsford with a thumb. He was limited Malik Collins. I think was limited with a quad injury, right? This is this this is as healthy as they're going to be. So they're all there for you. It's a chance to get after him. Maybe you're again, I don't know how much zone they're going to play. I don't know how much man they're going to play. I'm telling you, I'm not you could put me to the test each and every week if you want to and put me officially on the mark. There's going to be a lot of set Sundays.
I just don't pick the Browns for a plethora of reasons that we haven't even seen yet. I'm picking the Browns Sunday for all those reasons I just stated. Yes, you can win and yes, I think they will as long as we run the ball a lot and can run with effectiveness. Did Ken make the case second down, not second and 14 second and manageable like second and six or second and five did Ken make the case 216 474 0092. Our quarterback shop puts the football I trust him for five yards. I'm not sure for six. By the way, just as a quick aside, a lot of low crossers by our rookies. I just watched a video yesterday of Baker's last stealer game. Was it his last game in the Browns uniform and big Ben was on the other side. You want to talk about shop putting a football. I know. Holy cow. He was so bad and we lost that game. Yeah, we did. I think they played like running it like three times. I swear I heard Renegade more than once. It was a bad night. Real bad night. The office. And that was the week after the Christmas day disaster.
The four interceptions. Was it? I thought so. Yeah. That was that same year. I think TJ Watt played like six plays and had four. Yeah. Remember, I had four. I had a fever because I had COVID because somebody came into the station with COVID and gave it all to us because he wanted to be a selfish bastard and he gave us all COVID for Christmas. So I had to sit there because I wasn't going to sit there and watch him throw four interceptions without drinking. So I had a thermometer in one hand and I had a beer in the other and I was taking my temperature as I drank. And we're not doing coming in hot tomorrow for obvious reasons. So don't even start with the gubernatorial race. 216474.902. Stop laughing and ain't funny. You're laughing. I was pissed at you that day. I didn't keep laughing. I didn't do eight hours of radio. I had a fever. I had nothing else other than a fever, nothing than a fever. And I'm running about 99 degrees and he starts throwing picks because he just wanted to be
the hero that day. He just had to be the hero, had to do it. Okay. We had to deal with Baker's fantasy land. But then again, we're the ones who are wrong in that year. Okay, got it. I didn't want to move on from 216474.92. Dominic is got paid. Congratulations. Hello, Dominic. Hey, at first I was thinking, hey, that's a refreshing way to cool off with a swimming pool at a football stadium. But then you think about it. People are drinking heavily. Mm-hmm. What do you think the urine content and vomit content is like? Getting out of the pool. The filter. Thank you. I got to look at the filter. They're not getting out of that pool, Dominic. Thank you very much for the call. Ain't doing that. Thank you for weighing in, Dominic. We needed that. The truth is being told here by Dominic. But you thought about it a little more. People are saying that you can get gonorrhea in a pool. I don't know if that's true. Can you get gonorrhea in a pool? Not my area of expertise. Isn't pools are gonorrhea.
I'll answer that off the air. 2164744 to below 92. So did I talk you into taking the Browns in week one against the Jaguars? You know what? To cover. How about that? To cut. That's not good enough. They don't care about covering. Well, Richard, I thought they were going to get blown out now. I mean, now cover. Let's go. You want to get real crazy. I mean, Kay, put your money where you're about this. I'm not betting on football. Why would you not, if you think they're winning the game and getting nine and a half points on the Browns? Can we get off? It's going to be up to 11. No. I'm only seeing eight and a half here. Oh, if I've been increasing it every time I mentioned it, I start now and then I won't stop. And then you're going to talk to me like Nikki and Casino about putting the heat on because I've been betting on the Browns all year. But you do the same thing that he does it the beginning every year where he increases the win total. You do the lie. Yeah. All right. Did I talk you into thinking they're going to win on Sunday? I'm not trying to do some sort of a weird thing. I sincerely believe the Browns will win on Sunday. I'm pick. I won't guarantee it because we know what happens when I guarantee things. I burst blood vessels in my face.
But I sincerely believe that they're going to win. 216474 to below 92. Also, my wife's a travel agent. I think I would know the Rams are making a mistake today. And John is learning a lot about Cleveland baseball. I think it's about to find out that we do share a lot in common with Philadelphia when it comes to football. It's all coming up on the fan in the next 40 minutes, but that coming up in five on the fan. Back in the fan. Me as a models, Garrett thing here in a second. Social media reactions on X to brought to you by. Five and Jillers Clevens from your jewelry store. They're all remembering the day that I guaranteed the classroom full of kids that the Browns were going to beat the Raiders two years ago. Somebody wrote that it's their bio in Shore's Hell. Ken Carmen once guaranteed a Browns win to a classroom full of kids that we lost.
That's on client underscore Nick. Congratulations on all my success. I guess. Damn it. I think they're going to win. I'm not going to guarantee it. I think they're going to win. It's week one. Guys, it's a crap shoot. Kenny saw some Browns practice video recently. There's dare I say some zip on to Sean Watson's throws. Has he? Has he the entire time been working his way up to now? Is he fully healthy and ready to roll? Are you saying he was saving zip? I'm just saying what I am seeing is some zip on these passes. He did that in the Buffalo game. We're not talking about Buffalo game. We're past that Kenny. You're living in the past. Which game are you talking about? That was the game that we said. It kind of looked like he was treating like real football. Here we go. It's real football this week. All right. Just making sure. Hey, you know what I'm making a argument that they could win. So I'm going to shut up by the way. Lime, you just reminded me. I totally forgot my old scare. It's playing tonight. Yes.
Yes. He did make the trip. I also think that the Rams are making a tremendous mistake. Shouldn't you be trying to win every single game you're playing? Because it feels like they're just kind of like, well, we're going to treat this as a fourth preseason game. Why are they showing up 28 hours before they're ready to kick off at 1030 in the morning in Australia? Yeah. So this is incredible because not only has McVeigh changed the way that everybody looks at preseason now and the way that people conduct their business in preparing teams for the season. Now is he going to do it in the regular season too? Like, ah, we're not really worried about this game. What I love about Sean McVeigh and I do mean this. I think some people hate him. I don't know why people hate him. He has. It seems to be the somebody who did a poll and he's one of the most unpopular coaches in the NFL. Wow. I don't know why. I maybe it's because we in the NFC fan. It might just be because we in the media makes such a big deal because he seems like a savant and remembers every place of a crowd and all that. Yeah.
It's not Travis Kelsey. It's that the news stories. I always have to keep bringing up when he buys a house or farts in church or whatever. I have to keep talking about it. So because you have to keep doing it in a noisem. That's why people get mad at us for having to talk about Brown's quarterbacks and sensibly. But what he does, what Sean McVeigh does is gets somehow gets the leadership that we all crave we had in our football teams, gets the buy in that we all crave we have in our football teams. And he's able to do it. And I don't know if any other team can. They don't play in the preseason and you know it's a copycat league. So they didn't play in the preseason and they're successful. We're not going to play our starters in the preseason. All these guys are going to do is get hurt and get us fired. We're not going to play these guys in the preseason. And then what do we hear at the end of the year? Well, that preseason where it was camp, cupcake, they set the tone. And that's not just in Cleveland. That's everywhere. It is. That's the storyline. Yes. Well, we're going to hire this 30 year old coach and he's going to be great.
We're going to hire a guy off his tree and he's going to be great. No, Zach Taylor in that great. And there's been some young coaches out there who have fallen by the wayside here over these last couple of years. So he does it in a different way. They go out. They make a they make a very bold trade. They got 11, 11 captains on their football team. So it doesn't surprise me that a team is able to do things that other teams aren't, which is not playing the preseason, not do certain things show up a day before a game in Australia that's being played in the morning in Australia. And somehow they're just able to get away with it. It never, it never seems to bite them in the ass. They trade away all the picks. It doesn't matter. It never comes back. They will win the Super Bowl last year and they are the team that I'm telling you. If you are, if you are taking cues from them, I think you're signing your own pink slip because they're just, it's just a totally different atmosphere there than it is everywhere else. Miles Garrett, big leader. Maybe all of a sudden they become a big leader.
One surprised me that they were to brainwash him and to be a George Tom type of figure for the LA Rams. It would be amazing. It wouldn't surprise me. It wouldn't surprise me. But you're going to be watching Miles tonight. You said you're actually surprised he's going to be there. Yeah. Well, just because he's barely practiced. Aaron Donald ain't going to be there. Yeah. Aaron Donald didn't make the trip. And look, I do think the storyline is going to be obnoxious tonight. They better, they better be careful net flex because if that's all they talk about, then it's going to, it is going to undercut, you know, the actual football of, you know, one really good team and another team. The 49ers that they've just gotten old and I'm a big believer in Shanahan, but this team is old and the Brock pretty conversation is going to be interesting this week. I wonder how much Miles Garrett we're going to hear because to me, if you know Aaron Donald is not going to be there and Miles is going to be looking to get sacks. Like we've seen offensive coordinators play Miles right out of a game. Unless the Rams have a lead down the stretch and then it's going to be the Miles and everyone's
terrified to see. We've got to jump back into this football game. I totally forgot. I got to tell you, I totally forgot that he's going to be playing for the Rams. I did because I'm so bronze focused about and I'm honestly I'm focused about trying to win an argument and tell people that I think the bronze are going to win on Sunday against Jacksonville, which I do firmly believe they will. I'm picking them to win. I totally forgot he's going to be there. It will be a little bit surreal to see them, to see him in that uniform today tonight, even though it'll be in the morning. Something tells me he'll look bigger just because because he's on a he's in a new pool. He's on a team that's not for success. More intimidating. We used to say that all the time about the Steelers, yeah. Just because you wear a Steelers jersey automatically people think you're better than what you really are. I don't think that anymore, by the way, that has eroded over time, even though they still win enough games every year to be for the playoffs. But I don't the mystique is gone there with the Rams is totally different. You you could put all sorts of bad players in those jerseys. I'm just used to them winning now. 216-474-192. I want to remind John of something coming up here momentarily.
However, Josh Heinz Allen, this is audio courtesy. What station is it again? By the way, that's down there. Keith just sent us the audio courtesy. I think it was a press conference, but I still want to get it right anyway. The station that was sent down there, 1010 XL, 92.5. That's their flagship down there in Jacksonville. There is Josh Heinz Allen on stopping the run against the Cleveland Browns. The last time you went against an offense led by Todd Monkin, it was 2023 against Baltimore. They had over 250 yards on the ground. Are you expecting that playstyle to translate over to Cleveland as well? It's not going to happen. Armada was to stop the run, so by any means they're not running the ball that much on us. I expect coming out running the ball. His philosophy, he seems to be the game. Yes, I expect that, but 200 and 30 yards, that's not happy. I'm going to ask you really stupid question on purpose. Does anybody in this room or anybody listening or anybody on hold right now? Thanks to Sean Watts that could throw the team on his back and go in there. Right.
Is there anybody who thinks they can do that? No. Not right now until we see it. If what Josh Heinz Allen says is true, which is a team that was number one against the rush, I think last year. Boy, I'm going to sound like a real big idiot on Monday. Oh, giving Eddie Gritty right now. What does that mean if they are coming in gearing up to stop the run and that's all they are focused on because they don't think Watson can beat them. What are the wrinkles? What are the things that Brown's can actually do? What breakdown some football? You want some football? Well, you can ask. Let's get to it. You can ask Coach Lance about this. It's the same reason why Dylan Samson looked better when he first like started becoming the feature back after Quinch on junkets guy. Really? Yes. Because they were like, Hey, number 10's the threat. We need to circle number 10. We eliminate number 10. We don't respect the pass. If they circle number 10 again, when Sean Jenkins is still number 10, if they circle number 10 again and they stop the run, do you believe that Deshan Watson could put it on them to keep him honest? Now you have better wide receivers.
But we don't think he can sit in a pocket. Exactly. Feel a pocket. No one needs to get rid of the football and then deliver an accurate strike down the field that gives his wide receiver a chance. Haven't seen a lot of evidence of that. I have an offensive because my whole thing with an offensive line has not played together much. It's like you run the football because it's easier to go forwards and it is to go backwards. So I run the foot unless I have my homes behind him, I'm running the ball. Does the RPO stuff at all give them a chance? I know Zach did not think that he has a requisite athleticism anymore or the mobility. But I said, did see once I saw I'm going to have to I did see him take off maybe a few times in the preseason where I'm like, all right, it's going to have to because if he proves that he's any threat whatsoever, then it's something I have to bracket during the game and unlock during the game. And I like I'm sure they have spent some time going, well, he can still be an athlete. How much of an athlete? I just wouldn't bet against a team that I'm playing and take it lightly that, oh yeah, this guy sucks now.
He can't run all of a sudden. He may not be able to run. But I'm going to have him prove that to me and let instead of me just assuming if I'm running the defense of the Jaguars, 216474092. This guy thinks that Dishon Watson might be able to throw the team on his back. JJ and Cleveland, you're next up on the fan. Hello. Hello. Good morning. How y'all doing? We're doing wonderful. JJ, go ahead. First off, I'm going to start like this. We don't back every quarterback we didn't have. It includes the Sean Watson. You know, it don't matter if they talk short, old, coming out of college, old 40 years old or young. Just because it's Dishon Watson, he's still strapping up and got brown and orange on. You know, and he won a 32. That's starting. And he's start far team. He used to be good at it. But for some reason, we crit, he can everything remotely bad that this guy said. What do you mean for some reason?
You know, no, no, some reason. You know, all the reasons. JJ, don't be silly on this. I'm not really sure if you're going to be a radio station. No, no, I love this show, man. I thank you all the time. It's over if you call the time and you listen all the time, then you know that it just for some reason. Earlier today, I mean, like not earlier, but not too long ago, y'all, y'all was, it was whatever press conference he did, about the bus. Come on. We know he ain't forgot about us booing him at home. I know that and you know that. But you know, Dan, well, it's not just about some reason. Yes, he's been horrible. Yes. But we could we could take in a third quarter of a preseason game that nobody cares about. Even if he went out there and lit it up, we would have said he lit it up. I swear to God on my dead mother, that's not what that was. JJ, you said you listen to the show. That's not what I was about. No, I know I also heard somebody just say they saw some passes. He was pretty Chris.
That was me. And I'm going to say that. That's unshined. He ain't got our number. Jacksonville, Trevor Lawrence, sunshine. He's do not got our number. We about to go down to Jacksonville, whoop on them. Then we're going to go over the Baker Mayfield and he might just show Baker Mayfield why they chose to spend 240 or whatever on me. And I'd say, yeah, all right. You know what I'm saying? You might just do that. If you ain't working for him. You're going to lose the game? No, right. That's not what I'm going to be down there. We're going to be down there, Jay three. And we don't turn up. What are you going to do? What are you going to say if the guy next to you is booing? What are you going to say? What are you going to do? What are you going to do? Say that again. What are you going to do if the guy next to you is booing? I'm going to, hey listen, I'm going to laugh in his face. I mean, if we're doing bad, then he got a reason to boo. But if someone comes out, just booing right out the gate. Don't do that. Does he like, I mean, if you come back to and out, you're going to boo.
No, I'm going to go to the booth. They come back to and out. They're not going to boo. All right, then. If you come back one in one, are we going to boo? I'm only saying that when we want, I can't say they're going to win week two. Jay, listen, I know. I mean, personally, I don't know, but I believe that the Browns win week one. Well, the willies are going to be on something. That's a feeling, be that, man. That's a feeling, be that, be them. Be they but all the time, be beat them in the trade for the quarterback receiver. Tell me, you play a receiver, is he? Tell me he's wrong. Tell me. All right, listen, I'm trying to give you some more. Tell me, he's playing a quarterback. You can't. Come on. Tell me they'll be the full Browns. Thank you, Jay. He's out. What position is Travis on a plane this week? Either is he doing either long sapper? He's just a corner. Oh, he's just a corner and they took him. What? No, he's listed on that offense of depth chart, buddy boy. Right there. Number 12.
Oh, so he's going to be the tail and green of the Jacksonville offense. He's just a corner. Can he be? It doesn't say that on this on this depth chart. That's officially released by the as prepared by the PR staff of the Jacksonville Edwards. Tell me, on our depth chart, tail and green is listed as a quarterback. Well, when he takes off running, but they don't have him listed as a running back. There's not or tail and green on the running backs. They got they have they have Travis Hunter on both these things. It's way good. It's just a corner. I believe you. It's like what I say Daniel Jones is the best running back playing quarterback in the NFL. For now. But when they mark him as a quarterback, I got to say he's a quarterback and they marked this guy as both wide receiver and cornerback. You know what? I was going to say something to the microphone that's four letters. It starts with B about Travis Hunter. But then I realized we're going up against him on Sunday. Maybe I need to wait a few days. I don't need to wait a few days. Don't you don't you don't do that. Actually do do that.
Should I? Yeah. Because if it's not true, at least I got somebody who takes the heat off of me. Like if we lose and I take all the heat, that's not going to be fun. But if you're sitting there calling them a bust, I can throw it in your face. Lying on what's called a bust and won't say it. Call them a bust. I thought it was boy. I made a whole chest. That's all I'm for. Tell everybody. All last year I was called him a bust. Say it now. Give me a few days. No say it now. I ain't no few days. Fine. Fine. Travis Hunter and Andrew Barry was on top of this and I predicted it. He's been an absolute bust and I think we'll continue to be a bust. Pick your position. Who are you? What are you? Are you even good at either? At an NFL level? I didn't see it last year. Bust. Can I write lines up for you so I don't say I'm on the air and you do? We had Mason Graham last year. He was not a bust. Was not a bust. That's me talking about a Michigan man. It's true. That's the one good guy they had from that alleged national champion team.
Are you from the non-ermite? 216-474-902. Bust. Coming up in five minutes. Time see, bust a move. John is learning every day about Cleveland baseball. He's from Philadelphia, by the way. He's about to learn that we are not so different when it comes to football, their fans and ours. And I'd be pretty upset. And if she did this, I'd be even madder, but it ain't my wife. Can Carmen Anthony Lyme alive on the fan? He's gonna score two touchdowns, isn't he? So we like to ask John because he's a producer and as we've all learned the story, you're a producer. Produce. And John sent his ideas for today. And John had written, sorry, I sent a poly-1, it's me and butt-line, early. And I had to go find it. If and went, well here we go. If the browser is bad as we think they'll be, at what point will fans turn on and monkey? At what point will patients run out this season?
And my thought was, he's used to us arguing with him about the guardians. He's not used to us arguing with him about the browns. Because John came in after brown season ended. John, you're from a different market. You're from the Philadelphia area. You're a Philly's fan. The Philly's paid Bryce Harper what, $400 million, $330. $330 million, that's how a lot of money. Wayne Payne, nobody, $330 million. Okay. It's a different set of circumstances. It annoys John. I can tell you're annoyed by how patient we all are about the guardians. That we don't sit there and scream at vote over decisions. We don't treat him like you guys treat Rob Thompson or anybody else who's been the manager of the Philly's. I know he hasn't been the manager in mind. But anybody who's been the manager, I know that you guys are different there. You play by a different set of rules. It's a team that can spend that type of money. With the Browns, they're very close.
It's a, I've been told Philadelphia is a meaner, larger version of Cleveland when it comes to the football fandom. And I do think that if Sean Watson goes out there and sucks up the room, you are going to be really surprised at the phone calls you screen on Monday morning about Todd Monkin and about this whole thing. I think it's going to be a eye opening experience. If people were done with Stefansky, one game in. Oh, we had a call. We had a call that we, a game we beat Buffalo and it always comes back to Buffalo somehow today. We beat Buffalo. Freddie Kitchens was head coach. I'll never forget. 603 first call of the box that we're loaded in. Josh, I was out there. I think it was this rookie year played like garbage that day. It might have been year two, but he was really all over the plate. Didn't play like garbage. We used all over the place. We beat Buffalo. First call of the box was about firing Freddie Kitchens. Do you remember the San Francisco game when they made the playoffs and PJ Walker went up again, San Francisco right here at the stadium, right?
Yeah. And they somehow somehow gutted away to a victory. First call out of the gates. Stefansky. The Tampa Bay or not Tampa, the Tennessee game where the Sean Watson went on boot and tripped. And we still won that game into Sean Watson look good in that game. First call of the box. That game is about fire and Stefansky. Yeah. So it is a default. Yeah. I think it's a little harsher here than it is in a lot of other places for that coach. In Philadelphia, they win super bowls and then want the coach to be fired. They won super bowls recently, historically, MVP's and they want the backup quarterback to start after two bad games. Yeah. And they're, but I'm never going to knock their passion. I can call them psychotic. It's a bit silly. It's just a larger cleavage. I'm going to come to that because they are they not they feel like their second fill, third fiddle to, you know, New York, Boston. They kind of feel that way. They don't feel like they're in the same. They don't get the same respect that those cities get. I mean, not in the NFL. I feel like people think the giants and the jets are an absolute joke.
I feel like it's more down. I mean, it's a sports market though. When it comes to, but I'll just say when it comes to sports, especially football, I'll take silly, but emotional instead of. Dower and act like it does it like I caught a little bit of hell for saying the Browns are going to win only five games. It's like, yeah, it doesn't take a whole lot to be negative about the Browns. It's a hard thing to be positive. And so I understand maybe where some people are going with it, but I'm like, Hey, I've been pretty positive about the Browns my entire career and my entire life. And I still think that five wins. I'm going to find silver lining in five wins, but there's plenty of people that are down and it's because of who's playing quarterback. And if that guy goes out there and he's terrible on Sunday, I'm going to get a bunch of nasty tweets. And then I'm going to get a bunch of nasty calls. And you're going to feel a bunch of nasty calls. And they going to be really about me though. It's going to quickly be about Todd Munkin and Deshan Watson and ownership and all the other things. I hope you don't have to learn that lesson. I hope I'm right. I think I'm going to be right. I'm not going to guarantee it.
I hope you don't have to learn that lesson right now. But someday, well, you'll see, you'll see John Diana Rucini says in her next job, she's going to spill the beans. So she's going to be doing what? This whole or daddy like podcast, what is she going to be doing? I got to ask you, I don't mean to pry into marriages here, but like there's her husband have no backbone whatsoever. I figured things were going just from a gossip perspective. I felt I figured things were going okay that they were still together, that they were photographed together. That's well, yeah. And like, hey, you can, if you believe in forgiveness and you guys can work through God bless you. God bless you. You're going to, it sounds like, okay, if I get a job, if you hire me, you're going to get the inside dope, a what went down in a alleged affair between me and an NFL head coach. I'm like, should Mike Rable be worried about this? I don't know if it's top of mind, but I bet it's going to be top of mind real soon. She gets John about Drake May.
More. And then right after that, well, the Patriots approving this, the Patriots approving they put up with a lot, if it means winning. So yeah, I'd be much more worried about Drake May than I would about Diana or see if I were Mike Rable, but man, if I were husband, Lord, I'll mind it. We wondered if the flow of information was going to continue to trick a lot, seemed like every day there was a new photograph, a new story, a new picture of them in, you know, a cafe. Okay, she has all the information on their relationship. So if he was manipulating to try to win trades or drafts or having information, like she has all the information, I get that, but again, I'm looking at it. If she, if I were in a relationship with her and you were sticking a microphone and talking about her with another guy allegedly, not going to make me and the family feel very good, trying to get through this together, not trying to keep reliving it. The good thing is her kids will never have to hear about this. Never have to worry. Like that in consideration as well.
Alright, we're back tomorrow and no, we will no longer be talking about Snoop ever again. Hey, sounds good. Where's your ride to ride now? Come on, I got an initial. Bye bye.
