About this episode
SHEEP VS. COWS VIDEO
This PODCAST breaks down the gross revenue potential that sheep and beef cattle provide for my 23 acre farm business. As you watch this video please remember that it directly applies to my sheep farming business.
Use it as inspiration for your farm business, but understand that it is not a copy and paste solution for you. I originally planned to sell grass fed beef for profit, but after crunching the numbers I found that their smaller cattle counterpart (sheep) provided 400% greater revenue potential and 200% faster return on investment. My farm is a Dorper Sheep breeding stock operation. I am located in upper East Texas (the native tall grass prairie region) where we receive above average sunlight and rainfall. This rainfall and sunlight ratio really plays into the carrying capacity of my 23 acre farm. Thank you for watching!
