How Social Media Is Breaking People’s Brains | 6/20/25
About this episode
How is it that the entirety of right-leaning media went from loving Israel to hating Israel at lightning speed? I explain how social media creates tunnel vision and precipitates a frenzy of self-confirmation of one’s niche business model whereby the business model drives the fact pattern rather than facts driving the social media brand. We cut through false choices and red herrings about what Israel means and doesn’t mean to America. Also, I explain how there have been numerous opportunities to cut off funding to and lobbying from terror-supporting nations, yet those who yell about foreign aid and influence seem to only care about one country, even as Trump offers new aid to Qatar. The time has come to cut off all foreign lobbying equally. Then again, the Twitter dimwits couldn’t care less about achieving the results of their mindless chatter because their mindless chatter is the result.
