Hi, this is Doug Hewitt Mills. I'm glad you've joined me today. I believe this message will stir up your faith, strengthen you, and inspire you to serve him with zeal. Wherever you are, open your spirit. God is about to speak to you.

Oh, no, no, no, no. Just you know, you know, I want you. Hallelujah. Father, thank you for this morning and for the opportunity that we have to be in your presence. We are grateful and we ask you to guide us by the Holy Spirit and lead us to do your will in Jesus name. Amen. You may be seated and you're welcome to flow, church, service on Sunday morning. Amen. At this time, we want to receive our offering. Amen. And I believe God is going to bless us on the screen. You have how to give an offering. And I believe it's going to be a great blessing to all of us.

If you just joined, we are live. And God is already blessing us. So take out your special gift offering. I've been told today's Father's Day. So give a good Father's Day offering. And I do believe you're going to be blessed. Amen. On the screen, you can see how to give.

And I believe that you are being able to give at this time. What a great blessing. Father, thank you for what we are receiving today. We are grateful in Jesus name. Amen. All right. Right now, I want us to come straight into the Scripture today. And I believe it's a blessing to all of us. So today, I want to share what I call the fifth commandment, the fifth commandment number five. Commandment number five is honor your Father and your mother. Exodus chapter 20.

And this 12. Exodus chapter 20. Honor thy Father and thy mother that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God give it thee. Amen. I call it the fifth commandment because it is the fifth commandment. The first four commandments have to do more with God directly. The first commandment is you shall have no other gods. No other gods. That is Exodus chapter 20, verse three. You have no other gods before me. Exodus chapter 20, verse number three.

And the second commandment is about idols or alternatives to God. Amen. So you shall not make for yourself any graven image or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above or that is in the f beneath or that is in the water under the f. Do you see? Verse five. thou shano' bough down thy self to them, nor serve them for either Lord, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and

the fourth generation of them that hates me. So you are seeing God's tomb. His tomb even changes. When this commandment comes up, the tomb of voice of God changes from when he's first set up, the only God, but there is tone of voice changes. And that tone, give me, the tone of God's voice changes. And you sense and see that it's almost irritated by the idea of someone creating an image of him. And then the next verse, the sixth,

you see him now starting to irritate, it's so irritated that it starts to mention punishments which last for a long time. And then verse six, it says, showing mercy to thousands of them that love me. You notice the tone of voice has changed, it's using words like hatred and love. And it shows you his interpretation of these things. It's very, very strong. If there is anything ever you want to be afraid of, it is this particular thing of having any idol of any sort, an ancient idol or a modern one. All right. So the reference said something once,

he said, he believes that most of the cases in the system in the world are from the breaking of this commandment. Because this is where he mentioned that he will send a punishment through the generations. Is that not so? He said, he will punish you. You're not bowed down. I am a jealous God visiting the inequity of the fathers upon the children through the third and the fourth generation of those that hit me. So you notice the tone of voice changes. Then we have the third commandment, which is that you shall not take the name of the Lord in vain. For the Lord will not

hold him guiltless. That takes his name in vain. And by this, God also makes something about his name, using his name as a swear word, shouting Jehovah when you are angry or Jesus when you are angry or in movies, you should be offended when you hear people using the name of Jesus in vain. Then the fourth commandment, remember the Sabbath day. The seventh day is the Sabbath day. That is from verse six, verse eight, Exodus chapter 20, verse eight. And it says, remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy.

Now this particular commandment, which is the fourth, has to do with the amount of time you give to God. God is no fool. We are so deceptive that you always want to fool somebody. God is no fool. When it comes to money, he asks for one tenth. But when it comes to time, he asks for one seventh. And those of you who don't know maths, one seventh, is more than one tenth. What is one seventh in percentage? Good calculation and tell me. 14.3% when it comes to time. God is looking for 14% of your time. When it comes to money,

he is looking for 10%. So he requires more of you from time than he requires of you for money. All right. Then we come to the fifth commandment, which is now descending to human relations. Because from here, it's like meta, adultery, stealing, lying. But the first human relation, the first thing to do with human beings is to do with your father. So he says, Oh, now your father and your mother, that the ideas may belong upon the land, which the Lord I God give it to. Amen. So on this farthest day, in keeping with the idea of preaching about something to do with fathers,

I want to just say a few things about powers of a father and the need and how to honor a father. Let's tend to Genesis chapter 25. And Isaac was 40 years, this 20, 25, 20. Isaac was 45, 40 years old when he took Rebecca to

wife, the daughter of Bethuel, the Syrian of Pad and Aram, the sister to Leban, the Syrian. All right. There's 21. And Isaac entreated the Lord for his wife because she was barren. And the Lord was entreated of him and Rebecca, his wife, conceived. And the children struggled together within her. And she said, If it be so, why am I thus? So while she was pregnant, she noticed the babies have twins. And those days there were no scans. So you go by a lot of physical examination and interpretation.

Now you notice your baby at a certain age of the stage of the pregnancy. That tells you that the babies are alive. And the baby will kick till it comes out, always feel the baby moving. Now there were two of them. So they were really struggling and fighting inside. This made her pray. So Rebecca decided to pray about it. She went to a choir of the Lord and the Lord said to her, There are two nations in Taiwan. And two manner of people shall be separated from the bowels or two types of people.

Two types of people shall be separated from the bowels. Now there are different types of people come from the same womb. Rectured ones, good ones, cheerful ones, unhappy ones, quiet ones, talking ones, appreciative ones, and grateful. Two types of people. Remember that God's hated isle. And I love Jacob. Anyway, so he said two types of people. I don't know which type you are. And the one people shall be stronger than the other people. And the elder shall save the younger.

So when the days were to be delivered and were fulfilled, behold, they were twins. So it's like surprise, surprise, it's like twins. Because in those days there was no scan. I like today there's a scan. They can't even tell you, it's a boy, it's a girl. So now you buy blue instead of pink. And the first came out, red, all over like a hairy garment and they called his name Iso. You know, different things come when the baby is born. Some babies are like fingernails, a lot of things. Some they look like grown-ups when they are born. Some look like babies. Some up the head, the head is like a tower of liberty. Different types. This one was red and hairy. And this hair is important because later on

there is an issue about the hair. And then Isaac was there. And then after that came his brother out and his hand took hold on Isos Hill. And his name was called Jacob. And Isaac was three-score years old when she bathed. So he was 60 years old when he had his child. He was 60. He was not in his 20s because he married late and then he couldn't have a child. So I don't even know how old she was. But now when the twins are being born, if you are watching it, the first baby comes out. It's like normal. And sometimes people don't even know that there is another child. So it's born normally like a normal bath. Do you see? And then afterwards you may be expecting the

placenta to come out. But instead of the placenta, here comes another baby. Another head, another leg, another something. Depending on which one is coming first. If it's coming with the head, if you come with the head, usually. But if it's coming with something else, it may come. So now when the first baby came out, he came with the head. So as he came with the head, of course, his leg is the last part to come out. And that's what we call the catching babies. Because when it comes out, it can't slip from your hand and drop out. So you cut it from with the head first. But she caught the head. There was, they saw a hand holding the leg of the first one, holding it, holding the heel. And that was Jacob in there. And because of prophetic things, people know sometimes that the behavior sometimes of a child.

It's sometimes prophetic. Yes. So for Jacob to hold the heel, they were not sure what does it mean? Something. Yes. Actually remember when Jesus was born and usually our children, when Jesus was born, he was born. His birth was associated with some things, including the stars, including the shepherds who watched by night and the angels appearing. And the three wise men, many things associated. So then he got you wonder that is he a normal like Moses. So many people named him. He was named, you had so many names. The name that stayed with him was the name that

his mother in Egyptian foster mother gave him. It's the one that stuck because I took him from the river. That's Moses. But he has about seven names. Yes. Now Isaac loved Issa. Do you see? Because he did eat of his venison. But Rebecca loved Jacob. So right there, you see the beginning of Marital quarrels. Because his wife had a different mind from him. You know one of the reasons why people are married when you ask them, it's quite the common thing they said. She agrees with me on most, on what everything she supports me. But after some time,

they don't support. Look at it. I don't agree that this is a good one. I felt he's a good one. Issa is a good one. Jacob is a good one. And then a lot of quarrels about children. You get it. Because it looks like there must be conflict all the time. All right. Now, Issa loved Isaac loved Issa because he did eat of his venison. Now, although it's low sounding, the reality is that what Issa was bringing to Jacob, to Isaac, made Isaac love him. Because he gives to make swim for a man. Now, apparently Jacob was not bringing much.

It wasn't making him happy. Because many, many, many boys like food. Food makes them happy. Even as babies, they eat more. If you have a boy, baby, eat more than a girl. When you have the two, you will know the difference. But if you only have girls, you only have boys, you think that's how it is. So you have both. Yeah. The babies are more gentle. And they are not so demanding. You get it. Now, Jacob sought potage. And Issa came from the field. He was faint. And Issa said to Jacob, feed me. I pray, this is another problem that they had between the two of them. Now, on this father's day, I wanted you to see that even though God

had decided that Issa, that Jacob should be great. He said, it couldn't happen unless his father said so. God did what his father said. Because it is the father that God has chosen. Do you see? True, the blessings come to sons. So in Genesis chapter 27, just the very next chapter, Rebekah, who had this liking for Issa, or the other son, had this liking for Jacob, manipulated from behind the scene.

So that's why sometimes people are talking about somebody's wife. They will call her the wife. They call her what? The wife. Because the wife is suspected often of manipulation behind the scenes of things that are happening. They will say, it is the wife. Have you heard that expression before? It is the wife. Because out of experience, people get to know that the man is okay. It is the wife. That even though she doesn't give speeches and she doesn't talk, the thing is from her. Yes. And that she is moving the man to do what advice is that he is doing. So one day, Jacob Isaac said he was old and he said, well, now I don't know when I will die.

So he called Issa. He didn't call Jacob at all. And he said, look, I'm good to die. Take a privy that weapons and make me savoury meat. All right. Make me savoury meat. Okay. Make me some venison. All right. And make me savoury meat, such as I love and bring it to me. Make me happy. Make me happy. Now, notice that you can make your father happy. You can make your father happy. You see, unless the father said so, God has established his order. The blessing, what happened was what his father said, not the prophecy from the childhood

that his mother said, it was his father who had to say, you, you are blessed. So make me savoury meat and that my soul, my blessed, not my stomach, my soul, is like you make me psychologically, emotionally and in every non-physical way, happy. Because you can even give somebody a gift and it will even anger the person or tear up dislike. Yeah. So Rebecca had it and Rebecca spoke to Jacob and Simon and said, I had my father's picture, he saw. That's why I said, people say it is their wife. I had my father's saying, bring me venison

that I may bless thee before the Lord, before my death, not for my son, obey my voice according to that which I command thee. Go now to the flock and fetch me from dance to good kids of the goods. I will make them savoury meat for thy father. For who? For thy father, such as I love it. You get it? It's possible that in her old age she has stopped saving him. So the father was now resorting to the children to get something small to eat because she had stopped running around as she used to. It's like now she's tired. She doesn't do such things anymore, organizing this, organizing that, doing this, doing that. So she has stopped. Now the house helps

and other children and others were cooking. So the father knew that his last result. I mean, these are things that he enjoys. So he called one of the children, organized food. Mummy is no more into food. But mummy knew how to make food but she needed a motivation. And the motivation was other things that she was using her influence and power to achieve concerning her children and not the man. So the man was doing it for her children. So, thou shalt bring it to thy father that he may eat. And Jacob said to Rebecca, his mother, V. XI. My brother, he said, Harry, remember, he's Harry from Beth, red and hairy. And I'm a smooth man because some people have more hair than others. Now, he said, I want to read this one because it's

an important one. He said, my father adventure will fill me and I shall seem to him as a deceiver and I shall bring a kiss upon me and not a blessing. Amen. And mother said, upon me be thy kiss. My son only obey my voice and go and fetch me them. So upon me be thy kiss. You see, now I want to say here for the world of sneaky people and the world of deceptive people. All that's how we all are. You gotta be very careful with lying and deceiving and misleading because

that's the nature of the world and Jacob knew well that he would be kissed. You see, so you have to be careful that you don't deceive especially the wrong person. So when Rebecca said upon me be thy kiss, if you read the Bible, he never kissed him, but he was kissed because you are a kiss to full people. When you full people and you deceive people, you are a kiss, even if he doesn't kiss you. There are times that your father would ignore, but he doesn't mean that it's not happening. So he may not have a kiss. So that's why Rebecca said, okay, let that thing be. Upon me be thy kiss or the kiss which you own. Because all the time that he was laying in his hands, he didn't know that he was in true.

I bless you my son, but he thought he was blessing somebody else. Now, those of you who watch movies, you will see this thing if you watch a lot of movies, but a movie to be dressed in, there has to be some big trails. And you will see this scene where they say, you fooled me, you fooled me. I didn't notice, you fooled me. Then they take that gun, papa, papa, you fooled me. Have you seen it before? That's the reaction, normal reaction to being food. Do you see? So he went and fetched and brought them to his mother and she made. And Rebecca took goodly remand of her eldest son, Iso, which were with her in the house and put on Jacob. And she took the skin of the kids and the goats on his hand and on the smooth of his neck. Again, that's why people say it is their wife.

Because the thing she's doing I lot. Sometimes people do a lot of things just to manipulate from behind the scene to get something. So he came to his father and said, my father, and he said, here, who are down my son? And Jacob said, I am Iso, the first born, which is not true. I have done according to the outbid as me. You have been told me to do anything. I pray sit in each of my venison and I sit down to his son. How is it that that has found it so quickly, my son? It's that because the Lord has brought it unto me. So you see that people talking a spiritual way. It's not nice. Do you see? We don't have spiritual. And it's Christians. We have a lot. We need this spiritual way to carry on in the church with our deceptions. And Jacob went near to Jacob his father and he felt him and said, this is Jacob's voice. But the hands are the hands of Iso.

And he said, I'm out. My very son. I suspect. He said, I am. And he said, bring it near me and I'll eat. And he did eat. And his father came unto him and said, come, come, my son, kiss me, my son. So Jacob came and kissed him. And he came near and kissed him and he smelled the smell of his women and blessed him and see blessed the sea, the smell of my son. It's the smell of a field which the Lord has blessed. Amen. With the Lord has blessed. Wow. Therefore, because of the smell, that's why you must smell good. Smells evoked thoughts. Look, when you smell something bad,

like somebody put their badgas all over the place, you feel disturbed and horrified. And you almost feel like you are inhaling something that is negative. So smells evoked thoughts. So those who don't bat often, be warned less smell will stick on you, especially from your childhood. It will stay. No soup can move it. You scraper, you see that the smell is still there. All right. The smell of a field with the Lord has blessed. Therefore, therefore God give thee the dew of heaven and the fatness of the earth and plenty of calm and wine.

Let people save thee. That thee, that is the one I'm holding. He was holding the boy, not iso. The person I'm holding, the person who is smelling, nice. Let people save thee. Let nations bow down. I say, so God did what his father said. Is what his father said is what happened. Not what even the prophecy said. Or what his mother was trying to do, but what his father said. And God himself knew that based on what he has said in his word, the father has to bless you. So let people set thee in nations bow down and let their mother's sons bow down to thee.

Can't set thee, everyone that can't set thee and blessed be he that blessed thee. So today you see this blessing playing out. So I want to encourage us all to be wary of this particular because you know there are a lot of idols in the world, lots of idols. But when I heard the Rick Prince saying that he believed that most of the cases in the world are from this breaking of the second commandment. I thought to myself that truly the cases are deep and

wild. And I want to say that the case concerning fathers is very real. And the power that God has given of a father over a son is real. Now the power is so real that if Jacob, if Isaac had said to Ison this, it would have gone the other way. So he had to say it this way and he only used the manipulation. So sometimes if your marriage is not even working, yes, Oh my God is using the bad things of your marriage to do his great work. Sometimes something that

you think as somebody let the door be closed, please, always. God is using the bad things of your life to bring out something good because what this woman was doing, it like she's going against the father's wishes. This would be a big argument at home. He's also going to say Jacob. He's so Jacob. Big big argument because there's just a difference in the opinion. You know sometimes when husband and wife really support different political parties, there's a lot of arguments, a lot of arguments at home or even different soccer teams. They can be such arguments. There's different opinions just that I have this opinion about Jacob. I have this opinion about Ison. So those of us who feel that we are independent minded people

and you can have whatever opinion, I just want you to know that opinion that you have matters and it can cause a great thing. Amen. Now the main thing to do when it comes with fathers is to honor fathers. So I want to share with you how to honor because I think it's something that people don't know one is to think properly correctly. Honour someone by thinking correctly about it. Ever say correct? In March of the 6th, 22, when the Sabbath was come, he began to

teach in the synagogue and many hearing him were astonished saying from when has this man these things and what wisdom is this that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands. And what wisdom is this that is given unto him that such mighty works are wrought by his hands. Is this not the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James and Joseph and Judah and Simon? I did not insist this here with us and they were offended and Jesus said unto them, a prophet is not without honor. It's not what without honor. So this thing, this way of thinking of Jesus was to make Jesus without honor. Amen. So a lack of honor is when people don't believe in you, don't doubt you, they doubt you, they question you, they accuse you, you are not honoring. So Jesus said,

man is not without honor except in his own country. I don't have honor. Look at the way they are thinking about me. Is he not this, is he not this, and they were done grading him in their minds. So that's how to lose to not honor is even just in the because sometimes you have a father and the thoughts you have towards your father alone is that this honor. It's like look at this man's coming again, he's shouting, he's making noise, always this, always that. How many of them have had negative thoughts about your father before? Oh, I thought nobody will raise your hand. So Jesus said, look at what I've come to preach, look at what they are thinking. What is this man, is he Joseph, is he not this, is he not that great, is he not this, is he not that, many children I read from a rejoiners book one time, we said that people take fathers to be buffed.

Yes, it's like his art out of fashion, out of date, he doesn't know this, doesn't know that he's always this, he's a, as if he's eccentric, he's odd, he's, I mean, it's like a fool, not a fool, but like a type of, a type of odd man, these things are queer, why this everyday, this everyday that. Always want this, always want that. So you see that there is the tendency to consider the man as pin and funny and odd and outdated and almost unnecessary. Most children, if they were to choose who should die first, also let my father die, my mother should be the mother is of more use to me.

True or not true, it's what I'm saying true or not true, you don't like what I, I think you don't like, you don't like my preaching, the soft one who does this for you, does this for you, does this for you, does this for you, does this for you. I mean you can't even, even you don't like to answer the question that I'm asking, is that who should die first, because it doesn't sound like a nice question, but if truly, you were answering a mean, which one, you more think of it as who do you prefer being around, so I prefer my mother being around, so I'm not always, but some, it's like the father is, I mean, he's something, doesn't understand things, I don't know what he's

up to, it's too hard, doesn't talk. I hope you are listening to me. The thoughts that they had towards Jesus made Jesus say, a man is not without honor, except that woman. One I preached about, this one, the assistant told me, she said, she said to me, she said, Bishop, you know, when you spoke about this, I felt super, because my father came home, and when he came, he wanted to eat, they gave him some, to eat yam, and the way my mother and my sisters reacted to his, what he said, he went to eat, he said it was so bad, she was also a sister, she said, I felt so bad,

I went to make it for him, but the attitude, it was like a foolish man who's coming, come with what this robot has been made, and what, wow, it looks like I'm preaching to people that are not what I'm saying doesn't apply, I think maybe I should go to another, I should actually preach somewhere else, yes, or maybe it's not a pleasant message for a father's day. Yes, to honor someone is to have good thoughts about the person, and not to be irritated. Yes, some of you co-equal wives will be good for you to start calling your daddy,

instead of calling him Sammy or Johnny, yes, I know some wives who call their husband's daddy, because he's much older, but these days we have wives that are older than their husbands, I feel like stopping. Now, in Acts chapter 28, verse 1, and when they were escaped, all right, to the island called Malita, which is Malta, the barbarous people showed us no little kindness, for they kindled a fire and received us

everyone because of the present rain and because of the cold, sometimes when it rains it's cold, sometimes when it's not cold, but the attack that it rains is cold, all right, and Paul had gathered a bundle of sticks and laid them on the fire, and a viper came out of the heat and fastened on his hand. Variants saw the venomous beast hang on his hand, they said among themselves, no doubt this man is a murderer, is it a good thought? Because the man has been bitten by a snake, you say he's a murderer. Now, how do you choose who should be bitten by this snake? It's like something unfortunate has happened, okay, they said no doubt this man is a murderer, who though he has escaped the sea, yet vengeance suffered him not to live, and he shook off the beast into the fire and felt no harm. Now, how be they looked when he should have

swollen because it takes time to swell after a snake bite or falling down there suddenly, but after they had looked a great while and saw no harm come to him, they changed their minds and they said he was a god, the seven. In the same quarters were possessions of the chief man of the island whose name was Publius, who was a doctor and lodged us three days catcher's sleep, okay, so they changed their minds, first he was a murderer, now he is a god. You get it? And it came to pass that the father of Publius also got sick, and of a fever, and of a bloody flux to whom Paul entered and prayed and laid his hands on him and healed him, and so when this was done, others also, which had diseases in the island came and

were healed, who also honoured us with many honours, honoured our father, I'm showing you the honoured Paul with many honours, why? Because their minds changed about him, first the mind was that he is a murderer, then the mind was that he is a god. When their minds changed from his amedra to the mind chain that he is a god, they honoured him with many honours. Honours come when a man, your thinking changes about a person, it's a bad person, it's a good person, he's an irritant, he's a disturbance, he de-steps us, he's worrying us, he's whatever, and so on, he gets it, he sends us too much, some of you don't like your father when he comes, because he sends.

And when you are in the house and you hear, then you know that it's you. I know, my neighbour, some years ago, had a whistle for each of his children, and I myself got to know was who was who by the whistle, when I hear, I know they are calling this guy, when I say another person, and I could hear it from my house, because their father could whistle, very strong, and it crosses the road. All right, so start thinking, good thought, those of you say I want to honour my father, unfortunately some people feel honours to give an offering, offering is just one thing. Number two, honour a person by acknowledging him.

La Vigilor chapter 19 verse 32, it says, thou shalt rise up before the holy head, with the white head, and honour the face of the old man, and fear thy God, I am the Lord, amen. Now to honour someone is to notice him, so you must notice your father, notice him, is he, why do you still and is there still, and you honour him, he says you rise up, you notice him and acknowledging by standing up. Before the holy head and the face of the old man,

that is honour, so I am showing you how to honour your father. It says stand up for the old man, stand up for the, some of you when your father works and you don't even move, when your father have you run, is it one brother told me, he said that his father came in, there was nobody, so not a father because everybody has scattered. So his father went to, he was looking to the pinhole, and his father go to the television and put his hand behind it and the television was hot, and knew that they were there, but when they had him coming, everybody scattered like mice. Many wives have lost the honour that they had for there, when their husband works and they don't even move, they don't even get up, they're just on their

phone like this. The head cannot even move from that phone, phone, phone, phone, phone, phone, I think I'll just close now because I don't think that my preaching applies to, I have to go to another group to preach. Phone, phone, phone, phone, the head cannot even move of the phone, dash has stand up, there's no standing up, I saw one man he was teaching his daughter, smile, I thought I allowed him to smile, you're not allowed to smile, you're supposed to smile, you don't smile, there's something wrong with you, you are taught to smile, I was surprised, I didn't know that somebody who teaches daughter to smile, I said you have to smile, because you are not beautiful when you don't smile, they were taught to smile, taught to stand up and taught to hug,

they taught to, when you see you come and then you, you might. I think it's okay. Oh yes, thou shall rise up before the holy head and on the face of the old man, you on the presence and existence of the person, all these are small things but they are mighty things even to be written in the Bible in the Leviticus chapter 19 in the laws of God. Yes, now, second king chapter 3, Elisha said, he was talking to a wretched man, a wretched man who deserve no respect, he said,

he said, as the Lord living before whom I stand, surely where it not, second king chapter 3, verse 11, I said, where it not that I regard the presence of the Hoshafat, the king of Judah, I would not look toward thee nor see thee, I wouldn't even see, I would lift my head, no see thee, he said, because of the Hoshafat whom I respect, so you see that when you respect somebody, you lift up your head from that red chest form, or from whatever it is that you are doing, you lift up your head and he told this guy, he said, if it wasn't for the Hoshafat whom I regard, look at the verse, whom I regard, I ask for he, I respect him, if it wasn't for him, I wouldn't look and then number two, if I look, I wouldn't see you,

because sometimes somebody is looking at you but I can't even see you, because something else. So acknowledge the presence, you see this most in marriages, is that the respect and the honor has vanished like a swallow or a bed that has flown away, the respect and honor has flown, bye bye, try to the sky, see you later alligator. Number three, I'm showing you how to honor, unfortunately some people think that to honor is to give offerings. How can you give offerings to your father or offering to your husband? The one who is looking after you, you are an offering.

Number three, adapt, adaptation is a sign of honor, adaptation. Now, Pharaoh sent Genesis 41 by 14, Pharaoh sent and called Joseph and they brought him hastily out of the dungeon and he shaved himself and changed his garments and came to Pharaoh. Now, adjusting, why do you think Joseph shaved when he was coming to see the king? Why did he shave that same Richard state? He had been a prisoner for two years.

He was a prisoner for, I mean, about 12 years I think. I'm asking you a question, your Richard Bien and unshaved areas. Why do you think Pharaoh shaved? It's enough. Okay, number one, Ruth. Ruth, she was going to meet a man and he said, behold, he winnoweth Bali tonight. Watch yourself and unknowingly and put the agreement.

So, she adjusted herself. I'm explaining that when you honor someone, you will make adjustments. So honoring your father is also adjusting yourself to your father until what he wants, what he likes. You don't just come ask you ask, oh, that's how I am. That's what we learnt in our house. That's how we will ask how we are. Yes. When there's a newly married woman who is desiring to practice all the ideals of marriage, she will seek to honor and adjust the time she comes home. She will adjust the company she keeps, the phone call she makes, she will adjust her eating habits and she will adjust her food.

She will adjust her television programs. Maybe you want to watch Nigerian movies and he wants to watch soccer. Well, you end up watching soccer also. She will adjust her clothes. She will adjust the time he sleeps. When husband was lamenting, is it? Can you believe? I never go to sleep at the same time as my wife. She always comes at a different time. Can you believe I'm married? So he said that he's married and he goes to sleep alone. Because most people I imagine, when I'm married, I'm going to go to bed and there she is with me and I sleep together with my beautiful wife and oh, oh, Marley, you are understanding what I thought. We're talking about adjustment. So the person will tell you that the sleep does come at another time.

I think this is for a more mature audience. She will adjust the time that she wakes up. Those who can't wake up, see that you are sleeping. Say, adjustment. So even in the church, you have to adjust to the father. He doesn't have to adjust to you. You are just a man. Are you listening? Yes, sir. When Esther was going to marry the king, remember? The Bible says that for six months, she bathed for six months with oil of mayor, Esther, Chapter 12, and six months with sweet odors and with other things for the purifying of the woman.

Everybody say, adjustment. I'm just like an honor. I honor you. So I'm adjusted to you, to your time, to your life, to what you want, to what you like. Instead of being irritated, constantly irritated. Some people have an irritated attitude as almost a default attitude. Is the default? I can't move, isn't it? They want me to stare at them. I'm adjusting to them. You are adopted yourself. What was I telling you? I was telling you something. Some people's default setting is irritated.

Always some drivers make side face, whatever. If you are good at reading people, you read it all the time. Everything is like that. It's almost a bit, it's almost meaningless because that's all the attitude. It's not a good thing. It's not a good thing. You easily flow into disrespect and dishonor. When your father called, when they shout, Sally, you just, your eyes will flick out this way. Just go that way. Then you go. Yes, daddy. But you see, it started with, when they call you, sugar. When they call you salty, then your attitude comes.

It's calling again. And there's always, always, always, always, always, always, always. Yes, daddy. Then you go. That's not honor. I think I better close quickly because I'm stepping on toes. The comment you make initially reveals your real attitude. Please, and the cook, cooked, well, manicured response, land response. Please, somebody made a video on social media. So Ghani has very polite, yes, please, yes, please, yes, please, yes, please, yes. We know how to talk officially. Beautiful. Esther Bath for six months. You know even Bath once in the evening.

She Bath for six months. She Bath for six months. Seriously. Now, Vashti, her husband called her on the seven day, the king was very married. And he called his wife. Bring Vashti, but Queen Vashti refused to come. I said, I'm not coming. I'm not coming. I'm not going. I'm not going. I'm not going to that. And the Bible says that the people said, no, this woman has no respect. Unfortunately, she did it at the time where people there, and that really crossed the setting line. There are occasions I've told people, you shouldn't have done this. What I meant was that you crossed a line. You shouldn't have crossed that line.

It's a mistake. You shouldn't have done it. You should have done a lot of things, but you shouldn't have done this. This one, you shouldn't have done it. That's what it meant. That's what it meant when you said, you shouldn't have done this. You shouldn't have done this at the party. And the people were there. I pray for you that you're not cross setting lines. She shouldn't have done it. She shouldn't have said that to her husband on that day. You know, there are some things when you do. You can't correct it. You've crossed.

It's something that a pastor, but there's a point which is crossing when you're out. You shouldn't have said that. You shouldn't have done this. That was the point where you went over. And that was it for Vasti. She was not prepared to adjust any longer. So adjustments. And finally, there are so many more examples. But to honor, I'm showing you how to honor your father. Amen. It's to pay attention to his words. Not offering. I'm not talking about offering. I don't mention offering. Those of you who think you're too honest to give offerings.

No. I'm not showing you. Pay attention to his words. My son. Attempt to my words. Proverbs 4 verse 20. And to my sins. Amen. Now, how do you pay attention? Number one. How do you pay attention to your father's words? Shall I show you how? Number one. Buy not answering back. You see, every time you answer back, you're not paying attention to what is being said. Exot 7, status 2 verse 9. To be obedient. To their own masters. And to please them well in all things.

Not answering again. Not answering again. All right? Now, continuous retots. An answering back. And have it an answer for after some things, you shouldn't have an answer. You shouldn't even make an excuse. When you start talking, it's the sign that you are not listening. You don't listen. Nothing is entering your coconut. Huh? Don't answer back. And don't answer back. I'm not your breath. Whatever you want to do, I'll do it. Okay, I'll do it. I'll do it. I'll do it. What did you say? Oh, nothing. Nothing. Because the answer you gave back is a sign that you are not listening to what he says. You see, if you are playing table tennis and you smash the ball and the ball goes to the other side.

Hello. And the ball goes to the other side. If you are paying attention, where the ball comes, you look at the ball in wonder. I said, wow. This is a beautiful strike. But when you hit it back, it's like you are dismissing the expect loop or smash that has come across the neck. You just dismiss it back. Go back. No sense. Don't be rude. Hey, take it back. That's table tennis. So when you answer back, it's like you are sending back that expect loop or powerful smash that came with a lot of technique built into it. Just go back. Not answering again. All right? Honour someone.

Pay attention by listening to all the things that people say, big or small. Listen to what Jesus said, mother said. His mother said to the seventh, whatsoever he says to you, do it. Whatever. I don't know what he's going to say. Do it. So whatever your father says to you, learn to do it. And disconnect from friends who don't honor parents and who don't like their fathers. One day I saw a sister and I saw that she loved her father. I was touching. I gave her a Bible. If I have ever given you a Bible, it means I really love you. It's just one of the gifts I used to give to few people. I gave her a Bible. I said, the love you have for your father touches me and I gave her a Bible.

Disconnect from people don't like fathers and don't like their fathers. And from people that have fake respect. The things I gave you how many points? Four. Number one is what? You forgot it already. Thinking correctly. Correctly. Number two. Noticing them. Mother, you notice your wretched form. Number three. Adaptation. Adjustments. Some people are happy with my magic but some are not. And I don't really care. Thank you.

Sometimes you look at some older ladies who want to marry. You wonder why they want to marry. Or these, they are not prepared to do. Adjusting. But always pray for a husband. Marriage is not just carrying a name. And posing, I am the madam. And the Mrs. The wife. And then the last one is what? Pay attention to his words. No, to what he says. My son. Pay attention to my words. Stand to your feet. Wherever you are, lift your hands at home. This is a flowed, checked service. Father, we give you thanks for this special Father's day.

I pray in the name of Jesus that the Lord bless you as you honor your fathers. And as you have a good relationship with the fathers, let your life receive the blessing. For it is what the fathers say, that is what is going to happen. And therefore let the blessing of the father be with you and upon you in Jesus' name. Amen. Father, thank you. Lift your hands. Speaking thanks for the monies. The fifth commandment was the
