President Barack Obama. Virginia, we are counting on you. Republicans want to steal enough seats in
Congress to raid the next election and wield unchecked power for two more years. But you can stop
them by voting yes by April 21st. Help put our elections back on a level playing field and let
voters decide not politicians. Vote yes by April 21st. Paid for by Virginians for fair elections.
Today we're talking about love, light and life. We're talking about the everyday stuff that we
go through and how to survive it and how when you go back to yourself and back to the light and
back to love, how that literally saves us every single time. Diane Hayworth is back and she's
here to talk about all of these things. She is the founder of the Be Love Principles and she's a
heart-centered success coach speaker author and we're going to talk about how to overcome
everyday challenges. Diane, it's so good to see you. Oh Lisa, it's so great to be back with you
and with with everybody here. Thank you. Yeah, man, before we had a record, we were both
discussing the chaos that's been that's been going on. I mean, you were literally in a closet
yesterday because of the tornado warnings and my apartment flooded last week. So yeah, but
something we both had in common was that we were both super calm and you and I both have a
history of doing the healing work and how in moments like that, when you're able to stay calm
and chaos, it's like it's kind of like a little nudge to the universe, like good work. Like this
is why you do the work you do. You know, I agree in what what's happened for me yesterday in this
tornado warning that we got. I noticed afterwards how different the experience was for me than it
would have been 10, 15 years ago when I literally would have been screaming, grabbing all kinds of
things, you know, this time I was so calm, so grounded, so clear about what I needed to do and
in what sequence. When you're overwhelmed, when you're fearful, right, at least for me, the mind
is going like this. So nothing is clear and you're just running around. It, when you can look at
something, for me, it's from a foundation of love and with that inner clarity. It, the situation
seems to unfold differently. I certainly know my experience of it unfolds differently. And as you
and I discussed, it's not like stuff doesn't happen. Life still happens. But your ability to ride
the waves of that uncertainty, that chaos, that oh my goodness, what am I going to see when I
open my phone today? Rather, I want to or not. Having a practice that helps you stay connected
to that internal wisdom, that heart light, that soul wisdom that we talk about, you know,
for me, it's light. That has just made all the difference, made all the difference. And I know
you said it has for you as well. Yeah, a lot of times when I feel like the outside noise is
becoming too much to handle. I like to just take a second and think about light and go back to
me as the light. And so it's not about everyone else because I believe we're all essentially the
same person in just different meat suits. Yes, you could say. And everything is a reflection of
our inner state. And so when everything is becoming too much for me, I literally have no problem
just, you know, running a bath and turning the world off for a little while and being okay with
that. But it is. It's about the light for me too. It's about the heart. It's about the heart going
back to the heart and love. That love that is what I call the big love. Not that I love my slippers
or I love spaghetti love. The big love. The energy of love that we are, right? And I'm we were
talking about light. I'm glad you brought that up again. Scientists now tell us we are light. We
are light. I don't think there's any I don't think it's a coincidence that decades ago we were
talked about as light workers. And I don't think people really even got what that meant. To me,
it is sharing that one light that we all come from through the different sources that we are,
right? But it is. It's all we all come from that one source of light. That's what the fourth
wheel of principle is. Remember, you are the light. You never left the light of the all. I can
know that intellectually. I can feel it in my body. And when I get the national weather security
right alert that comes on my phone that says go run to an interior room. If I'm not really,
if I'm not really set and aligned to that, then it's easy to forget because we are divine
and human. I don't want us to pretend that we don't get scared or we're not in grief or we don't
get sad. That's part of the human experience. And it's to me when you are able to learn to hold
those emotions surrounding them with that knowledge of love and light. To me, that's when
the joy can come through and the even in really hard search situations. Now, we discussed something
that would happen pretty frequently, certainly, for certain parts of the world. And we're both
very aware that there are horrific situations that people deal with. And the light is still there.
Love is still there. Yes. Love is in the center of all of it. And it isn't always easy. I was sharing
with you last week how I was feeling so unwell that I was so anxious that I was terrified of
leaving my space. And that's not something I deal with regularly. And because of my full belief
in the universe and that everything is happening for me, what I did was just ask the universe to show
me what I needed to see. And literally, you just allowed myself to be in survival mode. And to
all I needed to do was make it to the next minute and treat my body well and have baths and fill
my cup. And I didn't put the pressure on myself to be anything other than what I was in that moment
because I believed that on the other side of that was something really special. And I think that's
what people get confused about. They're in this victim mindset where the hard times, it's like
people feel victim to those hard times. Yet, we have to shed those things. We have to go through
those things in order to get to the better stuff. It's almost like the universe puts us through
these many tests. Are you ready for the next level? Are you able to handle this? Can you do this?
I do not believe anything that happens. That's really negative is for something negative. I always
think it's for something greater than we can ever imagine even if it is terrifying.
I think that it's those are all wonderful points. I can remember being a young kid in school and
thinking why do I have to go to stupid English class? Why do I have to understand what it adverb
and adverb and all these things are? And I'm a writer now. Oh, that worked out. So even these small
things that we learn step by step. And I even think it's more like we remember. We remember
that the love is always there. Whether I am feeling it at this moment or not because I'm deep
in grief or maybe I'm in fear to know that that love is there. To me is really comforting.
I think that we talked about, I know we've talked in previous conversations about the death of my
husband. One of the things that really comforted me in my grief was knowing at the same time
I was grieving the sudden loss of my husband. I had a 68-year-old friend that was marrying her
72-year-old fiance and they had met the love of their lives. Their joy helped remind me that joy is
still in the world. Joy is still in my world. Even if I wasn't experiencing it at that second.
Yeah, absolutely. I feel like I mean I was with this elderly couple last night and they met after
her husband passed away and I was actually doing some energy healing on both of them.
And it was so beautiful to me. I feel like I got more healing from them because what I saw was
like this tree of life and that they were brought together at the right perfect timing after
the passing of her first husband and he actually nudged them together with all of these amazing
synchronicities and signs and it gave me this hope and peace back that I didn't have inside of me
until that moment. It made me believe in love again and all that depth in that depth. It was beautiful.
So yeah, I think situations can remind us and bring us back into a good headspace. I don't know,
even sounds dark but when I go to a funeral it reminds me of how alive I am, you know.
You know, when we had the celebration of life for my husband, it was a party.
It was a party and it wasn't that there wasn't tears. There was lots of tears and there was lots of
jokes and there we didn't even wear funeral clothes. My husband loved crazy t-shirts so I asked
everybody to wear their silliest t-shirts. So I mean it looked like I don't know what and nothing
I'd ever seen before and there was music and laughter and remembrance and love as long as it
yeah, that's the big thing. In your fear, can you remember even if you can't feel it, can you
remember that love is present even in your overwhelm, even in your sadness, even in your what the heck
is going on now? How could this be true? Many of us are discovering that organizations that we
thought were solid and were there to protect us and we're going to, you know, be part of our lives.
We're not created the way we thought they were. This is part of that shift.
The world can't become more loving, collaborative and compassionate unless structures that don't support
that kind of energy and loving lifestyle shift and change. And it's, I mean everybody would just
like to wake up tomorrow and like, woohoo, yeah, it's all done. That's not the way it works.
We get an opportunity to not only feel the pain but feel the excitement of wait a minute.
How could we reorganize this? What could we do differently? Who have we not seen that's ready
to step up? How can we all work together? That part of all this chaos and change to me is really
exciting. Discoveries. The way conscious. I mean the fact that we're having this discussion.
This is amazing. And the fact that so many people are interested in what is this love thing?
This love that's beyond even the romantic or the love of your family. What is it? How do I remember it?
To me, it's about that remembering that we came from love in love to live love here.
And we each get to do it as you reminded us in our own separate little meat suit. And that thing changes.
Throughout your life, which is great. My two-year-old grandson was just here over the weekend and it
was amazing. And I don't think I'd want to be two years old again. There are so many gifts as you,
if you are, if you are blessed enough to continue in this life at different ages,
there are so many blessings and gifts that are here to discover. And if you have a joyful,
loving mindset, they're easy to find. If I'm always worried about what's going to hurt me,
what's coming after me, then I don't see them. And it doesn't mean you shouldn't be smart,
by the way. Just for disclosure, we're not telling anybody to walk in front of a truck or not
go to a doctor. Go do what you are guided to do. Take care of yourself mentally, physically,
financially. Yes, find people to help you with that. And my personal suggestion would be
help connect to your heart and let that guide you to the people who are here to serve you.
And who you are here to serve. Like that beautiful couple you just described.
What a beautiful, what a beautiful,
relish that given and receiving. And that was gorgeous.
Yeah, I think there's some people that,
you know, they're stuck in that, like I said, that victim mindset. And so when you're stuck in a
victim mentality, you do not give love freely. You're stuck in your logical mind. And it's almost
like fear is running the show because those people are paranoid and they're suspicious of everybody.
They think everyone is out to get them. And when you let negative run the show,
then that's all you're going to see. And that's what you're going to trap, right? So if you flip
that script and you believe that everything is happening for the greater good. And like you said,
stick with, I listened to your intuition. I mean, be smart about it. But if you flip the script
and you focus on the positive darkness can attach to that. So you love is like the highest frequency.
So negativity and evil, let's just say it cannot attach to that. So if you continue to rise above
no matter how challenging the times get, that's what's going to save you in my opinion.
You know, that's a wonderful point. And I know that there are plenty of people who have had
horrific experiences. And their ego is just trying to protect them.
Hey, these people have heard us the best way for us to be safe, right? Y'all, your parts for
you to be safe is we're just not going to associate. We're going to withdraw. It's really easy,
especially when people are are horrifically hurt as children. They grow up in abusive situations.
Of course, we can understand why somebody would think that way. I get it. I absolutely do.
And to those folks, I would invite them what is one tiny little thing that you can recognize
love in today. Even before you can see it in yourself, can you see it in a little two-year-old
playing in the park? Can you see it in a little kitten or puppy that are playing together?
Can you see it in blooming flowers? Can you see it in a sunset? Where is one speck of love
that you recognize that you can see in your life? And the more you look for it,
the more you find it. You know, one of the most powerful exercises actually that I give my clients,
I have them in the morning go into a mirror and look in their own eyes and say, I love you.
And it is, I mean, I've had people tell me it took two weeks to be able to do that.
And that's the pain and that's also the trauma of being afraid that they're not lovable or that
they can't see where they're lovable. Every single person is not only made of love. You are
lovable. You are loved. You are treasured. You are adored. And it doesn't make any difference if
your next door neighbor doesn't recognize it or next husband didn't get it. That's fine.
Part of your path, it does not negate the fact that you are a blessed loving being. And you can
just say what is one thing I could do today to feel a little more love. And if that feels scary
because it might, what would it feel like to be open to feel a little love today? Because sometimes
it is scary. All you need is a little willingness. That's it. Just get that door cracked open.
That's it. Yeah, I remember when I was going through my addiction. I knew that I was going to
survive. And all I saw was like a pinhole of light. It was like this tiny little pinhole of light
that I was holding onto. And I never let that go. And I always believed in my heart space that I
was going to be okay eventually. But I didn't know how. And that's the part of the path that's
really challenging. I think when people go through really dark times is that you feel helpless.
But if you have the willingness and you remain focused on the light, the universe will come and
show you the way. You just have to have full trust and faith that everything is going to turn out.
Even in those dark, dark, dark times, you just have to have that belief. It can be really hard to do.
I absolutely hear you. And I understand I've been in those places, similar places in my life.
I've certainly worked with clients that are like that or have experienced that. And
having that curiosity, what could my life look like? The, you know, I study, of course, in
miracles. I love that book. And one of the things that it talks about is that the part of you
that is afraid and that is fearful, feels like a victim, whatever that is, right? The
unforgiving, the resentful part of you is not the part of you that's going to be able to lead you
into that recognition of the light, right? It just, it just isn't. It's going to have to be
the greater part of you, which to me is that light within. And I think it's a good time to
remind people what light means. We think of it as, you know, light from a flashlight or these
cameras that we're looking at. I want you to consider light as knowledge. Light is knowledge.
I mean, look, these cell phones bounce off of something. There's little beams of light. How does
that work? I don't know, but it does. I mean, we're talking to each other from what, two thousand
miles away. Right. This light is so powerful and in mystics in the mystics consider it as knowledge.
So when I'm working with the light, for example, I've been having some hip issues. I will visualize
light in that hip, knowing that the light knows exactly what to do. I don't have to direct it.
Light recognizes light, right? We, we are light. It is, it heads that knowledge part is where the
trust comes in for me. We all trust that even if it's, you know, a rainy day, the sun's somewhere,
maybe some other side of the world, but it's somewhere. Nobody wakes up and goes, what happened to the
sun? That light that you are, that you will return to one day is the, the oneness, the quantum
field, the all there is, the light of the all is what I was told it was. And even on days that
I can't necessarily rationalize it, just it's so comforting to know that is the truth. When all
this stuff in the world that I thought was true is not true, recognizing that our inner wisdom,
I think of it as like little, yeah, lights connected to everybody else. You and I obviously have
light strings connected to our hearts. We have connections to everybody's ever going to see this.
Now or in the future, it doesn't make any difference. That, that is powerful and that is true.
That is true. Yeah, we're all connected.
And we don't, it's so funny. We never question the love between us and our pet,
right? That is such a pure, I see somebody with a beloved, with their dog running around in a park.
I mean, you can almost see the love spark in between two very different beings. Nobody questions
that. What we're talking about is so much bigger and more inclusive. And because we're in separate
bodies, we sometimes we forget. That's all. We just forget. This is a path of remembering, I believe.
So how do you, what would you recommend to people on how to even begin to find themselves again?
If someone out there is listening to this and they're like, in that helpless phase of not being
able to see the path, what would you suggest to them? So first of all, if there is a legal or
medical action you need to take, go take it, right? If you do that, if you are in a situation where
there is fear, overwhelm, just, you know, there's million things going on and you just are feeling
overwhelmed or even this is something I do in the morning, actually. And that is I just remember
I am the light. And we can do something really easy right now unless you are operating a vehicle,
you're welcome to come along with us. I like to focus on the word light. Some people use radiance,
use whatever word you want. But we're going to go from context to feeling to being. And it's
really easy. So if you're interested, you can go ahead and join me now. If it's safe for you to do
so, shut your eyes. And just feel yourself in your chair, feet on the ground. If that's comfortable
for you, you can roll your shoulders, feel settled in your chair. We're only going to do this
for a couple of minutes. Super easy. Now I want you to pick a word for me. It's light.
And we're going to use that as an example. So let's just think I am light.
I am light. I am light. You might get a visual. You might see a ball of light. I will often do that.
It looks like it starts in my head. And as you gently repeat, I am light.
Make sure that light gently bring it into your heart area.
And now just imagine what it would feel like to be light.
What does it feel like to be light?
Whatever comes to you is perfect for right now.
I am light. I feel the light.
Feel that. Let it spread through your body.
Now imagine that you become the light. You're safe. You absolutely are still you.
But you become the light. Imagine you are radiating right there in your seat.
You're radiating through your body. You're radiating into the room where you're seated.
Throughout your home, your office, your car, wherever you are.
Just be that radiating light. Expansive, bright, breathe into that.
And just stay there a tiny moment.
There you go.
Now just relax. Wiggle your toes and fingers and come on back.
At least how does that feel? Yeah, it feels so grounded.
You know, I just shared with you, I just did this in a group a couple of weeks ago.
And there was a lovely woman that was part of our group that had been sharing.
And her voice went from love, blah, blah, blah, blah, after the exercise, it was like,
yeah, yeah, it just everybody was just so and it's more powerful in a group, I also, I think.
But just that reminder that take care of what you need to take care of.
But bring yourself back to center, context, feeling, being.
To me, that's an easy way to get into it.
Especially this is new to you.
I love that because most of the time, people try to run from whatever they're feeling.
So for example, if someone's anxious, they tend to run from that feeling.
So they will try and be really busy. Or oh, that's a great point.
You know, rush around. But really what they really need to do is like sit down
and feel what they're feeling and go back to the light.
So that's a very good exercise for grounding back to your body.
Because a lot of the times when they're feeling overwhelmed and all of that,
the only way to feel relief from it is to face it.
You know, it's like a demon that comes to battle with you.
You got to face it and then it'll go away.
You got to look at it and kill it with love and light.
And then it'll go away and you'll feel that relief.
So grounding is so powerful.
It's really powerful and I'm really glad you brought up that example because it is a great one.
The other thing people do is make themselves feel guilty or shameful
that they're afraid of this.
And then that just puts you right down in the,
takes you down even farther.
So in those kinds of situations, I do my best to remind myself, I am sad and I know that I'm
light of God. I feel overwhelmed in this moment and I am loved beyond measure.
It's like you're still acknowledging.
You're not running away because you're facing whatever it is you're facing.
But you're holding it in a container of love and compassion.
And isn't that what we would want to do for our friends and our family?
Let's do it for us.
I think love only asks us to be gentle with ourselves.
To be gentle, everybody's going to make mistakes because we all do.
I don't know of anybody personally, Lisa, tell me if you have a different experience,
but I don't know of anybody who has enlightened themselves past mistakes or things that they regret
doing. You know, and I can make mistakes and realize I am perfect in the eyes of love.
Because the real part of you is that perfect light.
The personality ego part of you is the part that is here to experience the ups and downs,
the fears and the joys of life.
Yeah, and it's okay to give ourselves what we need. It's okay to have a nap. It's okay to not
work all day. I think that's where the ego steps in is. It kind of confuses us when our bodies
are constantly speaking to us. And our bodies are constantly telling us what we need.
And society is telling us how we should be acting. And then so people get that confused with,
I shouldn't be resting right now because it's Wednesday at 2 p.m. So that means that's working hours,
you know, so we have to really unlearn those things that we've been kind of driven into our minds
and just listen to what we need. And it's really about where that direction is coming from.
I'm getting ready to get on a plane in a few weeks and I don't want my pilot to take a nap at 2
o'clock if we're in the air, right? But however, I would expect someone like that, a doctor or
someone that has some sort of focus, a job that has certain focus like that, to be able to trust
their heart wisdom. Today, I shouldn't go in. Today, something's going on. I need to stay home.
I need to call out today, right? But when the ego says, no, no, you got to go in. And then there's
some catastrophe. It's who are you listening to? Are you listening to the real wisdom of your own
heart? Are you listening to your ego? To me, it's always been pretty easy. My ego is loud, obnoxious,
really irritating, shameful. You know, you're going to regret it. If you don't do that,
my heart wisdom is gentle. It's very clear. And it's persistent. It is persistent. Here's an example
that's correct. It's what I can tell you now. For a couple weeks, I had been, I had just been hearing
and for me, it's a feeling. Sometimes it is I hear it, but it was like time to change your
passwords, time to change your passwords. And I thought, yeah, okay, I'll put that on my list
until I think it was 10 minutes before I was getting on an international Zoom call with 100
people. I got a little alert from my bank. Somebody had gotten into my passwords. I did not hear
that. And I will have to say, I heard it several times and I just thought, okay, I'll get to it.
That was a lesson. Everything was corrected, but that was a lesson.
Yeah, I had a similar experience with my car. I kept getting this message that I needed to go
take it to the shop. And I didn't listen. I was like, eventually I'll do it. And then my battery
died on a really busy day. And I had to figure it out the hard way. But we do get these divine
messages that come in for us, that kind of give us direction. And if I find the more I heal and the
more that I get rid of the trauma from my body, the more I'm able to hear those things that come in.
But maybe not. Maybe it's just about paying attention. I don't know. What do you think? Do you think you
have to do the work or do you think anyone can tap into that? Well, I think anybody can tap into it.
I think it depends on where you are on your own journey, right? I know for me, it wasn't
the word I would use on my path is trusting. It wasn't that I didn't necessarily hear it.
But when I would hear it, and that's when the ego would go, that's nuts. You're not. That's not
normal. You know, don't tell anybody that happened. Just like when I got the beloved principles.
Nobody in my family has mystical visions. You don't just sit around the Thanksgiving table and
say, hey, guess what spirit said to me? Now I know you can say that, but that my family, that's not
something we typically say, right? Now they're used to it now. Yeah, they used to it now. My
sisters come into similar kind of work. So for me, it was about trusting. And then I could always,
now what I've learned to do, put my hand on my heart, go to that place of light. What's true for
me right now? And then for me, that's when it starts to fall away. It's easier, much it gets much
and much much much easier for me to recognize. What is a fearful thought? That's super easy right now.
And what is true guidance? And just like we both said, it's for your highest and best. So even
situations where I followed my guidance and I thought, well, this, how could this be for my highest
and best? Six months later, it would be like, oh my gosh, if I hadn't done this, this amazing
thing would never have happened. That's where the trust comes in. Even when I don't understand,
when I know it's really guidance, okay, saddle up. Let's go. Absolutely. Diane, tell everyone more
about the work that you do. I, well, I love this. I love to talk to people like you all day long
about love and life and how to live from that heart-centered space. And it's not because I think
that you have to be super spiritual or things like that. Actually, I'm just really practical.
Your life works better. You're more happy. You're clear. You feel more free when you have that
kind of alignment. So I teach lots of folks about my beloved principles. That's a series of four
statements you can use individually or together that will help shift you from a ego-based,
what I call a constricted viewpoint to a more expanded divine one. And I've just seen network
miracles for people. I've got that individual coaching. And then I have a monthly membership
that, oh, we do wonder if we just do such fun stuff in there. Yeah, but I just love this stuff.
Amazing. We'll make sure to have all of your links in the show notes for people to access to your
things. Before we go today, do you have any last minute things you want to leave the audience with?
I know for me, I think I would just offer to people that life is going to throw different things
that you all the time and holding onto your center and then grounded space is the only way to survive
it. You know, like the only way to survive it is literally just holding on and grounding yourself
within yourself. I've learned that no one is coming to save me. No one is coming to save me. We're all,
we all grow up watching fairy tales and all these Disney movies and we think that, you know,
something is going to happen and someone's going to come save us. But when we learn that what we're
looking for is within ourselves, feel like that's when everything changed us because then we learn
to hold onto that love. We are enough as ourselves and that's a pretty cool place to get to, so.
It's a place that is, it's hard to describe until you get there, how much fun it is,
how much more joy there is there. And what I would add to those beautiful words you offered was
if you're on the planet right now or whenever you're listening or watching this, you're supposed to be
here. You are part of this evolution. And as people are born into this world, that's perfect as they
exit the world. That's perfect. We don't have to understand it or even necessarily be happy about
it. But to me, there is a lot of comfort in knowing that everyone here is asked to play a part.
And when you can't change world events, when you, when you can't change a government,
when you can't stop a war, when you feel, feel like you are a victim of all kinds of things,
you can change the energetic patterns of the world by being even 5% happier,
being 5% more grounded, doing that light exercise that we just did. That absolutely helps create
patterns that reverberate throughout the planet. And it makes a difference. And if you don't believe
me, go to the grocery store and start smiling at people. You see people change like that.
You didn't write a cord. You didn't pass a law. You shared a loving gesture. Every act of love is
maximal. That's what the course tells us. Every act of love is maximal. How powerful it, because
you were that powerful, each one of us. To me, that's pretty exciting. Thank you so much for being
here, Diane. It was so much fun talking to you. Thank you, Lisa. I always love to be with you.
Yes, and to our audience, thank you for tuning in. Please look at the show notes for more
information about Diane's work. And yeah, be the light. Until next time, take care, everyone.
