Welcome on in. It is the midday show. Hugh Douglas, Joe Gileo, you guys with us,
215-592-9494. That is how you hop aboard. We have Kyle, of course, behind the
glass. We're back in studio. Thank you to everyone who came out yesterday to birds town hall.
Thank you. McGurkson Orson, we had a great time yesterday, and we got a whole heck of a lot
talk about today. Jordan Davis introduced yesterday. I got to talk to the media after his contract
in Vic Fangio spoke, and maybe some changes on the Dallas Scotter front. And of course,
AJ Brandon, we will break any news as free and she's still going on. So anything the Eagles do
today, maybe John at the grid art, maybe Dallas Scotter, we will bring that to you and react.
Good morning, Hugh Douglas. Good morning, Joe. Good morning, Philadelphia. See, I tried to tell
y'all not to weather and change. Now y'all sick. It was running around with shorts and stuff. I'm
not sick. I'm just stressed appropriately for the weather today with a sweatshirt. Try to tell y'all
this weather. What they call these, uh, who fake wet, fagazies, full spring. Yeah, that's
what it's called. Fugazies. But we all have the weather app. We knew the same thing as you. I'm also
not sick. No one's sick. Somebody sick. Well, I mean, that's it. Somebody sick every day. That's
a good guess. Not at all. Do anything. Okay. You know what? Now that we're doing, uh, moments.
Yeah, maybe we need one for you. All right. So well, there was a lot yesterday, and we had a good
time talking about tons of different topics at McGurk's yesterday. Cross being a little passionate.
Yes. Well, I needed to. I need to bring in reinforcements to help you on the AJ thing. But today,
I'm going to take a different approach to help help you with AJ Brown, because I do feel like we have,
we've witnessed here in the midday show for a while. The truth. Yeah. Is it denial, Douglas,
delusion, Douglas, whatever. It's one of the Douglas. All of them on this AJ Brown thing. I don't
believe it. So what we're going to present to you. I'm not leaving. Well, you know what? He
was going to woo for Wall Street. I'm not leaving. You know what? You know what? It's funny.
Yesterday, you said, why can't you just speak more common rational like she will. I try to,
and you start screaming, whatever you're screaming. So then I have to scream back, but I'm not,
I'm not going to scream. Oh, so it's my fault. Yes. This is that we do. This is clearly your fault.
I just want to present the evidence to you, Hugh, that AJ Brown clearly wants out. Okay. Because
yesterday during Burst Sound Hall, well, I think it was one when we were on with the afternoon show.
The last piece of evidence emerged. And when you think about it, and Kyle coin these four before
the show, the four horsemen of NFL reporting, they have caused that what he did. The four horsemen
have come together to all tell us the same thing. And I think most of us, most are listening and
hear it now. And then we have Hugh Douglas. Could we go in chronological order? Let's go back to
Diana Rucini, the first of the horseman, horsewoman, horseperson, starting right after the combine
with what she was hearing about AJ and his agent. Just the way Max Crosby's agents and teams are
talking about that, that's the same thing that's happening here. So Jimmy Sexton, his rep is meeting
with different teams to just get a feel for who's interested, what this would look like. I think
there's been a lot of conversations that have been happening over the last few weeks. All right,
so conversations happening over the last few weeks, AJ Brown's agent out there looking for a trade.
That was then furthered by the second horseman of NFL reporting. Albert Breer.
Was he a famine? Sure, everyone. Albert Breer sports illustrated quote, Brown's camp has done
recon too on potential landing spots, which have genuine interest. So while how he Roseman
has quietly listed to the market, you have AJ Brown's agents. So you first you have Diana
Rucini saying AJ Brown's agents at the combine looking for trades, then you have Albert Breer.
Then a couple days ago, this from Ian Rappport. If it's not the Patriots for AJ Brown,
the Eagles face the possibilities kind of going back to the drawing board, or maybe Brown goes,
you know what, I'm going to open it up and consider going to some other teams. There's a lot here,
but for the Patriots and for Drake May, most importantly, they get a big time target.
My favorite is the end. AJ Brown maybe would consider other teams as if he's dictating this thing,
as if he's not under contract from the Eagles. But then we had the hammer yesterday.
The big one, Adam Schaefter comes in and just lays it out there as plain as day. Here is Adam
Schaefter yesterday on ESPN during NFL free and sink. Well, it's similar to the one that the
Raiders were in with Max Crosby that they didn't want to deal the player unless they got the price,
they asked for. And in the end, they did from Baltimore until they didn't. Well, the Eagles are
in a similar spot with AJ Brown. They would rather not move him, even though he would like to be
moved. And they're not going to move him until they get what they feel is a fair price. They
don't have that yet. They don't have that yet. Adam Schaefter talking about at AJ Brown,
not wanting to be here. Hugh Douglas, are you ready after we get a season in which there was
a report that AJ asked out multiple times? And now we get Adam Schaefter and Diana Rossini
and Albert Breer, any in rapport, putting out the thought that AJ doesn't want to be here.
Are you ready to admit AJ Brown wants out? So, so I guess in this scenario, Adam Schaefter
is the White Horse, right? He's con he's a concoest. He is finishing it off. He's concoest,
but pestilence. Yeah, pestilence. We're getting someone smarter on the show today. No,
yeah, I'm listening to what you're saying. I have a tremendous amount of respect for all the
four horsemen of the NFL, Diana Rossini. You know, she got an Emmy. Was it an Emmy? What in the
Grammy? Was an Emmy? I can't imagine it was an Emmy award winner for football. That can't
be. That's me. No, I think it was an Emmy. Okay. What's that with the with the wings and
holding the thing up in there? I don't know. Probably not relevant, but she got something that was
fancy. But anyway, she she does some tremendous reporting. Adam Schaefter does as well.
And the other two horsemen, which I forgot was like war and famine. That's who it if you want to
call them that. Don't believe it. I don't think he's leaving. Still don't think he leaving.
Well, well, the two different things. The Eagles may hold on to him, but the point that we're trying
we're trying to help you. And I'm trying to help the audience who doesn't want to put your
saying. I don't see do you believe he wants out. I think that he doesn't know what he wants.
I think that AJ is fed up with the persons who name I don't want to say because I don't want
y'all in my DMs. But I think it's his name is chilling. I think it's more about that
relationship and they're trying to repair that relationship. I think that's why they're slow playing
this. I honestly believe that I feel like AJ. He wants to go because he doesn't trust what's
going to happen. And they're trying to convince him that it's going to change. Whatever that may be,
people, I'm recklessly speculating. So no need to slide in my DMs talking about I'm hating on
anybody. I am recklessly speculating. And so ain't no need to do all that today. We ain't got to do
that. All I know is this when the four biggest NFL national reporters are all saying a variation
of the exact same thing, whether it be he's going up to teams trying to get trades as agent is
or yesterday. I mean, I just can't get the sentence out of my head from John Clark.
Put this out yesterday. Obviously from what we just played from out of chapter. And they are not
going to move them until they get what they feel is a fair price, but they would rather not move
them, even though he would like to be moved, even though he would like to be moved. That's it. He
doesn't want to be here anymore. No, I'm not dispute now. Well, you can work. No, no, no, no, no.
I think he doesn't want to be here because he's not trusting what's going to happen. And they're
trying to convince him that it's going to change. But there's a lot of I think he's frustrated with
everything that's happened so far. I'm feeling a little bit of a I think we made some movement on
Douglas here because I think you're starting to realize he's going to wear. No, no, no, no, no,
I want to say you're starting to realize he doesn't want to be here. He's asking out. We keep
every day in this radio station, we get people saying he doesn't want to wait. Would you hear that?
He doesn't want to not be here. You're making this up. This is this is this is conjecture. It's
obvious. If imagine if I told you this was a Cowboys player, like we were following the story
about a cowboy. Don't believe it. And there were two trade requests in the season. And then the
four horsemen of NFL reporting all said he wants out. Don't believe it. We would laugh at the
Cowboys. We laugh. We would say he doesn't want to be there. It's a disaster. They can't bring him
the camp. But with us, it's going to be fine. We don't believe it. I have tremendous respect for
the four horsemen. But they all say they they they never said definitively. They always say,
hey, well, you know, he's I don't believe it. Even though he would like to be moved. Hey, he
don't know. I don't believe it. I believe you play it all day. I still don't believe it. This is
wonderful. Well, that's good. Very very mature, very professional. He's going to be here. It's
going to be not tell battle day to tell you when I went when he's here when the season starts,
I'm going to take a victory lap. And if he's not, then I'd be like, all right.
Then I'll hold on. Hold on. But if I'm right. Oh, but you're doing it wrong. He doesn't want to be
here. You can wrong the whole time. No, he's going to be here. No, no, no, these are two different
discussions. He, he, well, he's going to be here. No, he's, he's hard, bro, we're going to make it
right. He's going to be hard, bro. He don't know what he want. What the hell? He wants out. You know
what? This is one of that. This is like when you talk to your kids, he's like, you don't know what
you won't stop talking. You'll be. I know what's best for you. Yeah. You know, I know what he
doesn't want. And that's to be here. That's been so obvious. Like, honestly, I thought that this
part of the discussion was a given, like whether or not he's back next season is an entirely different
conversation. I had been, I'd said this whole off season. I would call his bluff. I'm still going to
drive a very hard bargain for AJ Brown. If I'm how he rose, and if that ends up with him coming
back, like, I'm good with that. That's separate from him wanting out. We are here because he wants
out. That's so obvious. I refuse. You did. Come on. Okay. I'll care what it is. I like it. Why?
Well, you know what? Cause I know there's, there's a contingent of people out here who are like,
well, well, I won't, I won't, he ever come out and say that he wants out. First of all,
they'd be stupid. That would be stupid. Yeah. Has he ever said, I want to be an eagle?
You know, it's interesting. You say that because two years ago,
well, he said, he said, no, no, no, he said Philly's my home. Yeah. Very convenient.
He's never said, I don't want to be traded. I want to be an eagle. Well, when he say Philly's
his home, I mean, he plays for the eagle. So yeah, no, no, no, that's, that's, that's not,
that's not, that's not, that's not, it's in the question. You know, it, because I remember,
like, when I wanted out of Jacksonville, I said, I, I think I want to go. I want to, and they
cut you. Yeah, they did. That's their pattern. They, they, they did, but I told them I don't want to
beat it. Yeah. But I think I think it's more so about the relationship. He thinks it's irreparable.
Right. But yeah, it's of what it's about. He doesn't want to be here. He, he, he, he, he, he,
he don't know what he wants. He's in disguise. It's like, we'd like to be more, you play it on
that. I believe it. Don't believe it. Don't believe it. Two, one, five, five, nine, two,
90, four, 90, four. Do you finally now believe that AJ Brown was the final frontier of,
no, I guess what? Well, you know what? I based on what I've heard and seen off of that report.
There's a lot of people in denial out there. I am excited to talk to everyone today. Let's,
let's get, let's, let's come together on this today. Do you finally believe it? Do you,
have you heard enough? I know, I know you haven't. I'm talking to everyone listening.
Have you heard enough from the AJ Brown stuff to believe he wants out? I know. I fully
1000%. I, I guess for me at what point can I not believe it? Two trade requests during the
season, or excuse me, multiple, according to Joe Santa, liquido, then you go to all the national
insiders, the softies. Well, he's at the combine. His age is looking for a trade. Yeah, he was
at the combine at looking for a trade. Yeah, you know how he's looking for a creative way,
because this is what AJ wants. Maybe he'll open up his mind to stay. And now we get out of
chapter, which we're going to play the cut over and over today. Listen, he would like to. Don't believe
don't believe it. I mean, I like that. He would like to. Don't believe it. So you're the only
one seeing this correctly. Yeah. Okay. You're the problem around. I got vision. No, no, no,
blind on this. This is the opposite. You are covering your eyes and plugging your ears.
I might be a little stubborn. Yeah. No, that's this is beyond stuff. But I still don't believe it.
I believe it. Again, I'm just going to lay it out one more time this way for everyone,
especially if you just hopped in the car. Imagine if I told you this player was on the Cowboys.
And there were multiple trade requests from the Cowboys during the season. And then the guy quit
in a playoff game. Didn't give 100% effort in a playoff game. Then the offices has started,
and we kept hearing from every national insider. He's looking for trades. His age was at
their looking for trades. And then Adam Schefter and day one of for agency, day one of the new
league year says he would rather not be there. And the Cowboys like, maybe we'll bring him back. We
would laugh. We would laugh. We would poke fun at that situation all off season. But with us,
we try to pretend this is not a thing. It's going on. I'm Arche Manning, Viori athlete in college

Have a great day. Hi, I'm PJ vote and I want to tell you about my podcast search engine. We try
to make sense of the world. One question at a time. No question too big. No question too small.
We will even answer your questions if you send them in. Stuff like, what happens when a cemetery
goes out of business? What should we do about teens using AI to do their homework? Who buys
luggage at the airport luggage store? Follow and listen to search engine in partnership with
Odyssey wherever you get your podcasts. Don't believe it. Don't believe it. 215-592-94. We're
going to lot to get to today. Let me let me let me do my insider. I'm sure. I mean, you're
chances to win inside of the year. I've died. I mean, they you had a shot and it I need to fit. I
need to find I need to talk to people. Yeah, okay. He wants out. That's obvious. Where do you come
down? Do you finally now believe it? Because we've had a lot of people that have been more in the
Hugh Douglas camp that now I need to hear it from the Horses Mall. I don't believe it. Yeah, I need
him. You know, have we thought about the possibility that the Eagles and him got together and they
said, you have if you're quiet, we will get you out of here. You only hurt the trade value for
everyone if you're public about that. That's a possibility. I think it's probably that. That's a strong
possibility. I mean, I'm not going to deny that. Okay. But I don't think I see because when you tell
me that that he's he's in the trying to leave or he wants to leave, I think it's more so I think
he loves the city of Philadelphia. I think he loves his teammates. I think that he feels like nothing
is going to change and they're trying to convince him that it will. I actually don't think they
are anymore. I do. I think this is dead and over. It sounds like I mean, the rap report thing.
He said now that we're here. He presented two options. Not one of them was just bring AJ back. No.
It's, you know, now, later, the trade draft June 1st, creative, all that. It's all we've heard
for days and days now. Yeah. For all the people who wanted to say something. This is how he says
I want to be here. I think that they're they're having conversation. They're probably said now
eating dinner. No, I'm hanging out at LaBeck Finn. You know, Bella Beck Finn. The KJ and the Eagles
are eating dinner right now. They hate that LaBeck Finn chillin. You know what? Actually, that is
likely considering the restaurant close 13 years ago. That's probably them. I don't believe it.
I'm on. This is the I want to break up. I want to divorce. No, you don't. Well, they keep saying it.
So they probably do. You know, you'll know what you want. This is this is when people ask you
for stuff. And he just pretends he didn't hear. Which you know me so well, though. And you know,
when they, when they especially asked for money, I'd be like, huh? This is, that's a perfect line.
It's been a two months of, huh? AJ, AJ said, why? You know, well, you know, at the best,
when they asked for money, and I tell him, I ain't got it. And I say it with a strip.
And no, I believe you two, one, five, five, nine, two, nine, two, four, nine, four. All right,
we will get to American and Italian hero Aaron Nolan later. We still a lot. We are still here.
Well, Mark Terosa is lucky. We are a lot to get to and a price today to give away. Well,
in the North East, good morning. Well, good morning, dream team. I got to work. Good morning.
We're just dealing with stubbornness to the highest degree.
Hey, you, you're hilarious. I don't believe it, man. I don't believe it. Don't believe it.
I don't believe it. I don't believe it. I heard from him. Hey, I don't believe it.
Even this is what I'm thinking, right? AJ is getting exactly what he wants. All the attention.
Everything is surrounded about AJ and what he's going to do. He's loving it right now.
There is a little, little, little festinous. We don't周 a little. Then a little.
Now we'll enjoy it. But guys, what? When it come down to this season, and when it come down to
practice, all this is going out the window, we're going to see a difference with the AJ and
jailing thing, man. I think they go and pull it together. You know, madam. But right now,
there's a little festinous glory that everybody keeps talking about AJ. This is what he wanted.
So we give them what he wants, but this is the thing, right?
He's under contract, right?
Yeah, so therefore he's going to have to play.
Now, if he's going to half ass play, that's going to be up to him.
And what that's going to do, it's going to, it's going to destroy him
what things want to pick him up.
So he's going to lose, lose situation when he keeps doing this.
So let him go here and enjoy this right now because the more he does this
and the more that it's in a media, it's only hurting him.
And I hope you start to see this, you know what I'm saying?
But my thing is, I think they're going to get it together
when the season get ready to start.
Um, I don't know about these coordinators or none of that man.
We really just got to see what these guys is going to bring to the table
with type of office.
They're going to run and we've got to see how it's going to play out.
That's the only thing we could wait on.
And you know, hopefully this will die now soon because I'm kind of sick
of it, man, because no matter how you look at it, you know,
man, I want to just give up.
I'm not going to give it to him.
I never give up, never surrender.
He's going to be here.
No matter how you look at it, he's going to be here.
And to be honest, I'm going to end with this.
He still wants to be an ego.
Now, he does the only thing he wants to do is get the ball
and you know, you guys are in wildland.
This is remarkable.
We're going to give him what he wants that he said he wants to be.
We'll go.
Okay.
We appreciate how many times do you have to hear someone say he wants out?
You remember two years ago when Jack Fritz went in with Ike
and and this was for a spike out here and that and Jack did the,
hey, what if we trade AJ for Patrick's retain thing?
Remember that?
Yeah.
AJ called the radio station because he wanted to put out and forget
he wasn't even a real trade rumor.
It was just a common normal discussion on sports radio.
Like, hey, would you trade this player for this player?
He wanted to be here so bad.
Then he put the fight.
He called the radio station to say, what are you guys talking about?
No, I'm not going anywhere.
Meanwhile, now we have months of this and it's radio silence from AJ,
which you know, he Douglas is taking as meaning he wants to be here.
I want to be here.
He's he's he's he's going through something right now.
He's he's going to get me out of Philadelphia.
No, he's going through.
He's emotional right now.
Okay.
This is like when, you know, when I'm trying to date somebody
and they don't want to date me, I'm like, why you want to date me?
What's wrong with you?
See, you can't look at all this.
Look at this right here.
This might be what you don't want.
Why you don't want to date me?
I'd be a window into you handling rejection poorly.
I mean, that's something's wrong with you.
Perhaps something's wrong with you.
Something's wrong with you.
Okay.
This is a great place to play.
You want a Super Bowl here?
Why you want to be here?
You need to get with this.
You need to do.
I don't understand.
We're getting unique insight into you duckless today.
I believe it.
You know why he doesn't want to be here.
You even said it 10 minutes ago and you don't want to say
it's staying because you're afraid of the channel.
I'm just tired, man.
I'm just tired of when people hear the name.
I'm recklessly speculating about a situation
that I'm vaguely familiar with.
The Eagles?
Yeah.
Football.
I'm vaguely, you know what I'm saying?
I'm saying that I'm vaguely familiar with.
And y'all challenging me all the time.
I appreciate it.
I mean, we're trying to help you today.
I'm in this.
It's just when they call it intervention.
It's becoming that.
I believe it.
Yeah.
I don't care what Adam Schraff to say.
Even though he's he's a plugged in individual.
Even though I die in a receipt.
I don't care what now.
What I'm saying.
Chapter.
Chapter.
Rappaport Breer.
I don't even know Ian Rappaport.
Who is that?
No.
Which horse?
Which horse did you say?
Well, he's not pestilence because I isn't.
Adam Schraff just pestilence.
I would say Diana Racini's war, right?
She's probably war.
Well, I'm around here with the AJ stuff.
People with the clearing war on poor Diana for a long time.
Amy in Bucks County.
What's up, Amy?
Hey, how are you guys?
Good.
Amy, what's up?
Hey, so listen here.
I just have to go against you on this one.
I'm usually I'm always with you.
But I do not feel that he wants to be here anymore.
He he showed us.
I mean, how many more times do they have to show us without
talking that he doesn't want to be here?
I mean, I just fans don't want him here anymore.
I feel like a lot of people are feeling like he's done so much
that it might it might be it might be a bridge too far.
But I can't see why he would want to leave Philadelphia.
I'm just I'm just flummoxed.
Well, let me ask you a question.
Let me ask you a question.
Plex.
You were a football player.
You played football.
You were in the locker room with all these guys.
You you understand all this.
So when there was a dysfunction in the locker room with someone
or whatever, did they take it this far where they didn't want
to play for the team because they didn't like somebody else.
Well, you know what I'm talking about.
See, I think I think like with this, there are tell tell signs
that there is an issue, but there is nothing blatant.
That's why I'm I'm dying.
I'm a dial is here, Amy, because there has been nothing
blatant because when I think about it, if it's me and if I wanted
to get out of somewhere, I'm grabbing both revolvers and I'm shooting
to join up.
But you know what I mean?
Because that's what I did when I want to get out of New York.
I was like, God, you know what I mean?
Dropping the eggs all over the place talking bad about but not
everyone is you.
Have you realized that?
You're unique.
No, I'm just saying if I want to if I want to get out of somewhere,
I'm dropping nays in the room.
I'm talking crazy to coach.
Yeah.
I'm doing all of that.
I got kicked out of New York the first time.
You know what I'm saying?
Because I'm part of it.
No, I'm not doing this.
He's like, no, he get this guy off my forehand.
I was in them cats.
Hot.
But I was I did that because I wanted to leave.
See, now I know how to blow up a joint and leave a place.
I know how to do that.
Yeah.
And this ain't this.
Yeah, but agent isn't how to do.
He's doing it in a passive way.
But everyone sees it, but you know, Amy, great phone call.
We appreciate it.
I don't I don't think we're making any progress here.
No, I don't believe it.
Well, we have a full show to get you to, you know what?
The goal by two o'clock today is to get you just to realize he wants out.
No, no, you can say it all day.
You can play.
You could play war or pestles of whichever for horsemen is.
You could say what he wants.
