Human trafficking, an abhorrent crime, has infiltrated all 50 states, even our schools, where students are at risk. The post-pandemic era witnessed a surge in the distribution of child sexual abuse material, exploitation, and human trafficking, necessitating our immediate attention. Schools, traditionally safe havens for children, are best suited to combat this issue through prevention education.

In the past year, 13 states mandated training for school staff and awareness education for students on human trafficking. We invite you to learn from those who have successfully implemented prevention education in their districts.
