IDENTITY FOUND: Orlando Magic SMOTHER Detroit Pistons as they claim 3-1 series lead

The Orlando Magic continued to suffocate the Detroit Pistons defensively, seizing a 3-1 series lead and rediscovering their long-lost defensive identity.

Orlando continued to draft Detroit into the mud with them and push around a team noted for its physicality. Their defense stepped up in a major way and led the way despite a horrid offensive showing.

The Magic also got an unlikely spike from former two-way wing Jamal Cain. His highlight-reel dunk and tie-breaking dunk were the catalysts for the team to have enough and get over the hump to seize the victory and head back to Detroit with a chance to eliminate the top seed in the Eastern Conference.
