Implementing Long-Acting Cabotegravir Plus Rilpivirine for HIV Treatment: System-Level Considerations

In this episode, an international expert panel shares their thoughts on key considerations at the operational level for incorporating long-acting injectable antiretroviral therapy into the HIV treatment armamentarium. Topics include the duration of injection appointments in real-world settings, managing additional patient volume/workload (particularly the key role of nurses), and preventing and addressing planned and unplanned missed doses.
