Fi: Talvinen tuuli oli kylmä ja armoton.
En: The winter wind was cold and relentless.
Fi: Aarnen posket olivat punaiset, kun hän vilkuili ympärilleen Lapin laajalla, valkoisella maisemalla.
En: Aarne's cheeks were red as he glanced around the wide, white landscape of Lapland.
Fi: Hän piti tiukasti kiinni koiravaljakon ohjaksista.
En: He held tightly to the reins of the dog sled.
