Every single game against the Wild is going to be 4-3
over time lost the series.
Are anything you've taken from this series of these three games
that's been very close to good team ever?
Yeah, they've probably all been a little bit different.
You know, I thought trying to think back to the first one.
You know, we were out shooting them by a lot.
I thought I'd be played probably 60 minutes,
better hockey, honestly, in the first two.
But I will say the second half of this game was real good.
So, you know, I don't know if I take away anything
other than their, in my opinion,
you know, they're a legit Stanley Cup contender.
And so that's, you know, I thought it was a good answer
by us, and it's another good challenge on Thursday.
Do you think that it kind of speaks to the growth
of ice maturity in me with a clawback?
And I think it speaks to, you know,
our guys, you know, there's character in the locker room
they dig in, and it also speaks to, you know, their ability.
Like, once we got going, we were, we were really good.
And so, you know, it's, again, we got to find out
we got to make sure that we don't start that way.
You know, they came out playing great in the first.
They were on top of their game, for sure.
And they probably don't think they were quiet
as on top of it later.
Advice of versus, you know, so we just got to find
a way to try to get that stretch about more to 60 minutes.
Not be us. You know, the lowest,
could be as low as it was in the first.
This is obviously this youngness you've got,
and defensively. What, what, what, what didn't
to that decision, how do you think those parents can spare?
Good, you know, some of it is just an opportunity
to, you know, get Delhi in there a couple of games in a row.
You know, want to see, you know, where he, it's hard to know if,
if you don't kind of get a look at him in terms of where the games are.
I think he's played well enough and offered to deserve that.
And certainly, it wasn't a knock at all on Gris.
He's played really good hockey when he's been in there.
But there's something that we talked about, you know,
around the trade deadline and that might be a possibility
and we decided to go that route tonight.
So at the end of that, you know, I thought the group, you know,
that Kaiser was excellent.
I thought the group had moments good and moments are not good enough
and we just got to continue to kind of throw them to the fire
and watch them grow.
And left and up played over 26 minutes.
How did you feel about his games?
A lot of good stuff.
Moments of some decisions, you still got to, you know,
do a bit of job at times with the puck.
But overall, I thought lots of good stuff.
I would say a great play on the game time goal to get it up to Betsy.
You made it, I thought you, you know,
you make it progress in things like deception with the puck and things like that.
I thought he defended hard.
You know, it was out there a lot of times against Caprice Off and Goldie
and I grew and, you know, I thought he defended real hard
and did a good job with him.
Well, back in, of course, it went for time for me.
Of course, I think, I mean, the main thing we got to take out
is just starting on time.
Everybody's gears going right away from the drop of puck.
So then, you know, at the end of the game, we can be going up goals
when we score instead of trying to call back in.
Can you take a spin here, Goldie?
I think it was just a good heads up play by Artie to get the puck up.
And, you know, Betsy using the speed to get around the guys.
And, you know, they made a bad change there.
So we were blessed to get that opportunity and a nice play over it.
Just have to put it in.
It's been a 4-3 and over time for the last.
All three meetings this year is just going to remind her of how close you guys are
and, like, how slim the margins can be.
Yeah, it's, I mean, we were talking about it,
thinking about it after.
You know, how high up in the rankings that it's in the most
you know, how well we played that second half of the game.
And, you know, we can be right up there too.
It's just a matter of, you know, how we play the whole game.
And, yeah, like I said, right there.
It's, I mean, it's great to see that comparison.
But also, like, you know, we've got to go on.
Why do those slow starts continue to happen?
I wish I had.
I wish I knew I could.
You know, too many things to say about the officials.
Are you getting today to see if there was a lot of missed calls?
No, I don't know anything to say.
I always like them.
They love to play hockey, right?
That's, that's just my opinion.
I like to just go out there and play in.
I won't bad talk on here or say anything about that.
That's a kind against Fulino.
Yeah, definitely.
I'm sure it's one of those.
Look like you got a nice piece of them in the first period.
Yeah, a little scared after that.
He's sure to.
No, it's funny.
I saw him last night.
So we were, we were like, love you.
I hate you.
You know, it was like some like that.
But, um, no, it's definitely weird playing against him.
But, um, I'm happy for him to be able to, you know, be in many.
And, and, you know, hopefully I've been running.
Does it kind of hope that you get to get back at this team right away on Thursday?
Yeah.
It's going to be on our minds, right?
This game last couple of games over time.
Um, you know, work on, start on time.
And, you know, carrying that momentum that we had at the end of the game.
And, uh, to the next one.
First and the biggest fight that we've been.
Yeah.
Um, I mean, that's, I think you said, uh, from halfway through the game.
I think we, we played really solid.
So it's, I think it's just fighting consistency and playing like that or closer to that than, uh,
what we did first out.
It seemed like the defense had some to do that with you guys.
Like gaps and all of you guys are moving apart.
Did you, do you see any different you guys are doing defensively after those?
I guess it's all right.
Um, yeah, for sure.
I think it was, uh, I don't know.
It's weird how like the game changes sometimes.
It's, uh, I think once we got our rhythm, we, we, we gain confidence.
Um, and we just went all in and kept going.
So, um, you know, once again, it's, it's all about trying to do that more often.
Uh, more than that.
Would you see on your goal in that decision to take that?
Um, yeah, I think it was kind of a dead player.
Frankie was at the blue and, uh, made a really nice pass.
It's, it's not like the craziest pass ever.
But it's like, it's, uh, everyone's kind of waiting there.
And I can come in with some speed.
So it was, uh, it was really nice of him.
And, uh, I don't know.
I just wanted to book some shots on that that I didn't really see what would happen.
Because, uh, they had a guy, uh, trying to finish his checks.
I had to take myself a little bit, too.
So, uh, no, just got it winning.
How much more confident are you in the offensive side of your game now than where you were at the beginning of the season?
Yeah.
You know, it's not, I'm not going to do some, some crazy stuff.
I was just putting some bucks on that shooting hard.
Um, it's something that, you know, it's nice when I have my teammates going there too.
Because it's, uh, it's not going to happen.
You know, when you're in the NHL, it's every goal is so, so, so good.
So it's not, uh, you know, I need some, some, some traffic in front of theirs to, to create something.
But, uh, yeah, it's nice.
Do teammates think twice about getting in front of your shot, though?
Um, I don't know.
In games, I, I, I just let it drip, honestly.
And, uh, in practice, I got to be a little bit more careful.
It's not the time to go all in.
But, uh, you know, I mean, not going to work, but so far, I didn't do something crazy, so it's good.
