Morning everybody is DJ and V just hilarious. Show them a new guy.
We are the breakfast club. We got a special guest back in the building.
Yes, indeed. The album is out today. Ladies and gentlemen,
Freddie, what's up, brother? How you feeling?
Already did you really want to put this out? You felt like you you had to.
Yeah, that was a faster. Like this is a organic thing or you just like,
man, I got it. No, it's definitely organic. Okay. Okay, I wanted to be sure.
Okay. Now the name of the album is Xavier. Yeah. What is who is Xavier?
Xavier is like my alter ego. Okay. I'm saying like just a more mature version
myself. Like when I set back and took a time, when I just watch this around
there's no more more mental awareness. Just no, just not allowing not allowing
no BS. Just a better version of my old self.
Now, how has it been since you've been home on a couple of months now?
How has that feeling been? Because I've seen even when you move around,
you move around a lot lighter. It's more you really look where you're performing
now. It's not just performing in any any club and strip club. Like I see that
you're making a conscious effort to do things a different type of way.
So explain that and break that down a little bit.
You know, like like when I was down, I just kept telling myself,
like, you know what I mean? Like if you want to be the best,
you got to treat yourself like the best. No, say no matter how people view you,
no matter what you read in the comments or if you're not as as lit as everybody else,
like you still have to carry yourself a certain way. And I believe that when you follow
that, like when you follow that mindset at a coming to fruition,
let me so that's just what I'm doing. Like I'm treating myself like a superstar.
Was there a time when you had to cut people off because they came around and they
expected old Fettie, the wild outfettied up that you had to cut people off or
it was a little easier than that. It already happened when I first came home.
Like it wasn't it wasn't no, it wasn't a space to cut you off.
Like, I mean, it was already gone. Yeah, it was already there.
So we about to come to the studio. No, you're not. I'm saying like we ain't doing that.
So it was like when I was when I was calling, nobody was answering.
Now everybody trying to pop back up like when you're having that this time.
So yeah, it wasn't it wasn't even it wasn't even a great area to have that conversation with nobody.
Is there any resentment from people because of that because you set those boundaries?
I don't know.
But I don't speak to them to find out.
You know, I wanted to know too, after you did the first album, your voice sounded a certain way, right?
Then right after you did the record, the record that sticks out of my mind is the record with Cali.
And it knows record. It seemed like something changed with your voice.
Yeah.
What was that? Cause in this project, it seemed like you got it back.
And that was my fear. We always, which you was like the first time I heard you the raw vocals
that sounded different. And then your voice changed everything changed.
And I was like, well, what was that change? And how did you get it back to this?
Really? It was like, I was just trying like different things.
Like because I was like trying to make another trap coin so much that I'm like,
maybe I should just try some notes. And then, you know, man, if it worked, it worked.
If it don't, then I'll just go back. But I was doing different things so much.
I forgot how to, you know what I mean? Like, I forgot how to spin back.
But I'm like, ah, you know what this time I set back.
And I'm just like, I got to get back in that groove.
So with this whole project, it was more so like, let me just try to be more of a creator
than a creative, then just trying to make songs to put out, you know what I'm saying?
So I'm like, that's how I got to get back in that bag.
Like when I did the trap queen, 6, 7, 9 and all those records,
it was just me having fun being creative, like just doing something different.
Like, let me try this out and see how it sound.
And that's what I did with this one.
So like to answer your question earlier, that's why I felt like,
you know, I'm like, yeah, like, I'm ready for it.
Like, you know, you know how I record.
So there's nothing new.
Like, you know, I do that a lot.
I record a lot of records, but this time I took my time recording the record.
You know what I mean? Like, even though it happened a little faster,
but I felt like, I felt like, like, I found that sound again.
Like, I found that all of that.
Yeah, man.
So yeah, that's, I feel like, I feel like that voice came back like this time.
You singing a lot more on the album.
Yeah.
Like, we get the head of vocals.
Yeah, for sure.
So that's perfect.
That's like on purpose or is like, that's definitely purposely.
I definitely purposely did it like, because you know, I like,
I always been like the melody, like the melody you do, you know what I'm saying?
But like, I'm like, I could do, I could do it a little bit more.
Yeah, you never said bent and you got vocals on him.
So I'm trying to, yeah, I mean, I'm trying to, I ain't trying to do too much.
Yeah, man, I ain't trying to do too much.
I'm trying to get you jack hollow on.
Yeah.
But you sound good, though.
Yeah.
I appreciate that for sure.
How do you measure your, your, your own growth as an artist when you creating a project?
Um, from the people, honestly, like from the people, like, I, like this time around,
when I was recording, like, I tried to have people I don't know.
Like, like, people I don't know there.
And I just, I just read the energy in the room.
Like, if people want to phone too much, are they not paying attention?
They scratch it.
Thank you.
You know what I'm saying?
Thank you.
Like, if I start, I see people, you know what I mean?
Like, oh, yeah.
We're going to keep that one.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
And that's how I kind of know, like, because if you got the guys there, I mean, that's
hard.
Like, I ain't going to say that, bro.
We're supposed to go, we're supposed to go right around.
But that's what I mean.
I don't know what's real or what's not.
Because you might turn the beat on.
You might just bop because they're there in the moment.
And just being on the phone don't necessarily mean you not listening.
That's just sadly the way the world is.
No.
So throughout the process, like, if, if you've ever been in, like, if you've ever been
to anybody's sessions, like, you know, some people take two hours to, uh, to make
a song.
Some people take a day.
Some people might do it in 30 minutes.
Like, you know what I mean?
I'm kind of a little bit quicker, but, uh, uh, that process of not bringing back right
there.
All right.
Bring me here here.
All right.
Let me, let me do these doubles right here.
And let me do this.
You know, on the outside, it's quiet.
Mm-hmm.
You know, the, the, the, the engineer got to hear you.
So it's real quiet out there.
So people just kind of just waiting.
So if they react then every time that beat drop, oh, yeah, all right.
Now, like, you know what I'm saying?
You kind of, yeah, they, they feeling this a little bit, you know what I mean?
And then when it's time to, uh, do the playback, then everybody just start, you know what I mean?
Everybody start having fun.
They jamming.
So like, if the, if it's not going that way, even when the playback comes, it's like,
I am.
Maybe it's not the one.
You know what I mean?
I kind of like that.
That's like, like, an open mic type of situation.
Like, where do you get the people from if they don't know you, like, like, like, uh, I just
invite, like, like, friends that I met, like, like, when I was in prison, you know what
I'm saying?
Like, they know you, but they never.
Yeah.
Exactly.
It was just tell you, I mean, just tell you, you know, you're my, you're my sister
when I meet you, you know, me stuff like that.
Your brain turns through, but like, and then it'd be like probably like five, six people
there, like, five, six, seven people, not too much, and I'll just see how to react when
I'm recording.
And be like that.
Like all I have, like, I feel do some, like a few, like, media outlets and stuff like
that.
Like, see how they reacting.
I mean, and that's just really how I've been doing it.
Like, I just try to, like, I'm trying to get comfortable being uncomfortable.
Yeah.
That's how you grow.
Yeah.
That's what you know you grow when you come through.
What music are you listening to right now?
Like, inspiration wise, because a lot of the sounds on this project too, it's like there's
a lot of jazzy, like, swing, like, and I'm like, what's his playlist?
Like, like, where is that coming from?
Yeah.
I mean, like, I'm really like a, like a late 90s, early 2000s type of, like that's where
I listen to a lot of that, like on my free time, you know what I mean?
But when it's time, like, to make music, you know, I still like tune into what's going
on now.
So I don't be outdated.
You know what I'm saying?
And I just try to mix everything together.
Like, I don't feel like music should have like a, like a one track, you know what I'm
saying?
Like, I feel like it should be, it should be fun, like, to listen to a fun of here, like
different sounds.
So, like, me personally, like, you know, I'm like, when I say like early, like, late 90s,
I mean, like, you know, like, Foxy Brown, the total, like, on low flip and like, you know
what I mean?
Like, yeah, Joe, Chris Brown, like, anybody, I just go everywhere, like, I don't have
like a, it's not really like, you know, like, I'm just going to like the app.
I mean, I don't know if I could say that I've been like, you to red, and I'm just first
playing to just keep playing music, you know what I'm saying?
So I just, like, I don't live it myself, like, I don't live it myself to just one thing.
But like, on my personal time, yeah, that's what I listen to, I just do each other.
When you came home, you were, well received when you came home, right?
We seen you pop out with a bug, we seen you pop out with a bunch of people.
We seen artists celebrate and you even on this album now, I mean, you got, you know,
Wiz Khalifa, Honey Baby, Tink, Max B, you know, Al Bial, you got a G Herbo, that's
so many things.
Were you surprised about the love that you received when you came home?
Yeah, of course.
Wow.
I mean, and I'm going to keep saying you know, because you really do know, like, it wasn't
like this, you know, I'm saying, like, even when we did our record, bro, like, you know
I mean, people wasn't really like, people wasn't rocking me the way they say they is now,
like, you know what I mean?
Like, and it's cool, like, you know what I mean?
And I don't like to be that person like to try to bring that negativity out of it, but
I'm just also a real dude.
Like, I'm not going to ever be fake to myself, but you know, like, I tell everybody, like,
I appreciate it so much more than anybody understand, because that feeling of feeling
forgotten, you know what I mean, or thinking you've been forgotten or just sitting in that,
you know, sitting in there and like, you don't hear yourself or nobody reached out and
you hear like how everybody else, people just reached out to this person while he was
down.
I'm like, it's up.
You know what I mean?
I mean like, it's just like, everyone's been waiting for you.
I'm like, thanks.
Yeah, I didn't know.
You know, you know, it made me feel like that when I was down.
Yeah.
And I always say, what do you think changed that?
What do you think that came from?
I guess just like, I don't know, I just, I just never changed.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
Like I never changed when I stood true to who I was.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
Like, and I don't, I don't like to like uh, to, how you say it like uh, what's the
where I'm looking for, like congratulate that, but, you know, like, I still told them what
I did, like, you know what I'm saying? Like, I, I don't know if I want to like glorify
like that, that side of it, but, you know, like, I did what I had to do. Like, when it was
my time to go sit down, I sat down and I, you know, I mean, I did it on my 10, bro.
Like, and I guess a lot of people respect that, you know what I mean? And I just was what
comes with it. I don't know it's, I don't know how to expect that you also remind people
of a great year. A great time. Yeah, when you, that 2015, 2014, 2015, Aaron, I think people
really wanted it. Like, I remember that arrow. Yeah, we had a lot of fun. There was a lot
of fun. Every, every club, I mean, everywhere I went that year, that year 2015, 2016, everywhere
I went, it was just always fun. Like, we never had incidents at any of my parties. Anywhere
I performed that was never a problem. Everybody had from even, even the security guards,
bro, do your job. Like, you know what I'm saying? Like, but it was lit though. Like, I feel like,
like, I don't know. I just feel like I'm just happy, bro. Like, you know what I mean? Like,
that's, that's my only emotion I have. Like, I'm just, I'm just great. I'm happy and humble.
Like, appreciative to everybody that's been showing me love. All the artists that's been
we posting everything, been commenting. Like, I've been seeing everything. And I'll just be like,
thank y'all so much. Like, y'all understand how, how appreciative I am of that.
How have you adjusted back? Um, the last time we saw you literally had just kind of home.
Yeah. Yeah. I mean, really like, I haven't been, I ain't sit down yet. You know what I'm saying?
Like, I haven't really sat down yet. Like, I've just been going. Like, I, I just feel like,
I got to, I got to do it. Like, I don't have time to wait. You know what I'm saying? It wasn't
old time to sit down and let's wait a few months. And like, I waited four years for this.
Let me, so if anybody had to come home after sitting down for that long and think about it more,
like, I don't feel like wasting your time. Like, I thought about it every day since day one. Like,
I just want to do when I get back. Like, you know what I'm saying? Like, and when my time came,
I took off. Like, it wasn't no saying down. How important are the numbers, right? Because it
seems fast that you just came out, right? Yeah. Usually when you drop your, your project, you got,
you know, numbers on the board, you got singles playing. And I'm looking at some of these numbers,
right? Trap Queen with diamond six seven nine six million my way three million again three
million wake up his platinum jugs platinum. RGF, I'm trying to correct you man. Oh, is it wrong?
Trap Queen is double diamond six seven nine one. Damn, double, damn. All right.
But I don't think that's fair to compare it just to that. I know that, but do you look at that?
Do you look at them? Like, I got to catch those again. No, those are my babies. That's how I look at
nobody can't take those from me. No, I'm saying no matter what anybody say, it doesn't matter
what happened, those are my babies. I'm saying like, if those, if dumb songs never came out,
it would never be no, what's happening next with Fetty Rob? Like, you know what I'm saying? Like,
it wouldn't be no, I'm at the breakfast club. You know what I'm saying? So I'm always be,
I'm always forever be grateful of dumb song. So like, and that's that's the separation that I made
for myself coming home. Like, I'm not chasing that again. No, like, there's no reason to chase that.
Like whenever I do any new music is going to either end with those songs, like, that's my clothes
and set, you know what I'm saying? Because this is, this is, that's what everybody know me for.
Like, when people see me, some kids don't even know me as Fetty Rob, they call me 1738.
So, you know what I mean? Like, so like, I had to really like, like, you know, when you,
when you're chasing something so bad and everybody in your ear, like, oh, he's not going to never
have another trap queen, you know, it did do something to your mental. Like, you know, especially when
you're trying to make music, but it's not happening no more. You know what I mean? Like, they just can't,
nobody has that effect on my, on my energy no more. You know what I'm saying? So I'm just like,
I'm forever grateful for that. Like, I'm proud, I'm proud to say like, I'm the one that wrote those
records. Like, I didn't have no, no writers, no, no ghost writers. Like, I, I did all those records
myself. You know, so, uh, well, Monty got, you know, Monty up there too. But, you know what I mean? Like,
it's, it's a different time for me, bro. Like, it's just a different time for me. It's a different time
of my energy, a different time of my spirit, bro. Like, I'm just different. Like, you know, so,
when I hear numbers, I'm grateful to hear them. Like, a lot of people don't got those numbers.
Like, people don't have double diamonds and diamond records. Like, you know what I'm saying? Like,
so, and I remember when it was just Betty Watt, the artist from Patterson. Now it's Betty Watt,
the diamond selling Grammy nominee. It's a lot of titles on my name now. You know what I'm saying?
So I'm appreciative of those numbers and chasing that keeps you living in the past. Like,
if you're truly growing and evolving and you're a whole different human being right now,
there's no way you could make that again. And you're not supposed to. Even your remix is like,
well, not even your remixes when you would, uh, songs that weren't yours when you were hop on
other songs, uh, collaborate. Like, what, what, what, what, what, I was just listening to
ghost slugs. What? Oh, yeah. Like, that's crazy. And that's probably something that you just did.
Just, here you go. No, I was actually see, like, that was another thing. Like, I remember that day too.
Excuse me. What was that? Like, yo, that's one of my favorite songs. I was sitting in the studio.
I'm trying to remember what I was doing that day. I don't remember what song, but I know, um,
um, um, uh, people's, people's had hit me like, yo, bro, uh, Cadillac Center song,
but I'm like, DJ Cadillac, you like, yeah, I'm like, you know, at this time, I'm still like,
oh, like, that's why you're like, so they sent it over and it's so crazy, right? Cause they say
and ghost slugs. I'm like, I'm like, I know when the bullet is gold, but the bullet is silver.
What's the ghost look? So if you ever, like, if you ever listen to the verse again, you don't
talk about, I'm thinking you talk about gold, like, bullet is a gun. Yeah. No, it's all they
talk about. I just thought that was your take on, like, I didn't even know what to tell. So
when I get there, I see everybody with gold grills. I'm like, oh, that's
none of them told you after the fact you, when they heard the verse, it's like, nah, it was so
hard. It don't even matter. Yeah, nobody did. Everybody they cared. They just, as long as I said,
yeah, baby, that was like, yeah, that's great. But I feel like on this project,
nasty, this song would think that song, like, I mean, I know you're not chasing it. And it's
to hear you say that you are separating, you know, you're not even thinking about that era.
That song, when we were playing it and here, I was like, this, it feels like that, or like
a whole new level of that, like the, she's perfect for the collaboration. The beat, the vibe,
the, the stuff that y'all talking, it's like, all right, this is about to dominate the summer.
That's how I felt when I heard that song. The same way I felt when I first heard, you know,
1738, the track Queens, like, so it's there naturally. Yeah, I mean, that was, when that happened,
shout out to my boy Hitmaker, he didn't want that put that play together, you know what I'm saying,
like I asked him like, yo, bro, you think you, yeah, uh, he actually did that for that record
and the D-Herbal record. I remember it. So he put both of those plays together. But I'm like, yeah,
get tinked, bro, I feel like she'd be. And I think it was like four days later,
messes came through. I'm like, oh, that's crazy. Like, oh, this is really happening for real.
Like, you know what I'm saying? Because like, I'm just like, wow, but that record right there,
I was just like, I was just having fun. Like, I was just having fun. Like, and now you know,
I'm a fan of Usher. So I'm like, when I heard that little breakdown, I'm like, I wonder if he's
going to be mad if I do this. I mean, I mean, I don't think nobody ever like tried to do that
actually part. They always try to make the own sound of it. Like, but I like to give
an old to the artist. Like, I mean, he's original. I mean, has he heard it? Yeah, he's the one
I approved it. Right. So I was like, I'm like, wow, I haven't spoken to him yet. But like,
they told me like, like, he was like excited. Like, yeah, bro, tell Fatty, let's get it. Like, I don't
know. Now the record with Wiz Khalifa, the person that he keeps. I don't know.
The record with Wiz, you sang into that intro. Yeah. What made you do that instead of saying,
you know, what made you, you know, do to sing into the intro, him rapping is supposed to,
y'all both rapping on it. So, um, that record, I actually made that record. I was in the hole.
Like, I was in a show. Oh, wow. Yeah. So, uh, white roses, I remember like a Taylor
and fool for you. All was written when I was in a show. Well, like, you know, I freestyled
and write it down, but however you want to say it, um, all those I was in the show. So I had to
constantly sing them to myself over and over and over and over and over again. So I don't forget
and I was in the show for six and a half months. So, uh, that record right there,
everything's one of the moments. And I was like, y'all, I remember we used to listen to, uh, uh,
press at the city, press at the city to question our address and all that, uh, you know,
star power. And I'm like, I was just, I don't know, just like one day, I'm just like,
and I'm like, I got to do something for whiz, but like nobody don't be showing him love,
or like, like, especially like all, like, the, the, the Ford 20 friendly people.
I'm just better like that. People who smoke weed.
Like, he was like a big impact on the 2010s. Like, no, saying, especially if you was like
smoking, you feel me? So like a lot of people don't be giving him like his flowers. So like that,
like a Taylor joint was like, I mean, like, and that's my God. But I like, I don't know what's,
we, we cool. I was the first person to get him a drink 1738, too. But he, that's interesting.
I was wondering when I heard that I'm like, I was like, I don't remember if Fettie Watt being like
for the smokers. Like what, I was wondering what made you lean so heavily into that sound and into
that time period. You were celebrating with? Yeah. Yeah, for sure. Yeah, okay.
But now I'm like, definitely, well, I used to be.
I just wasn't indulging because I just remember it being like party music, drinking,
having fun and then 1738. When I did, when I did the wake up, like, uh, I did it right.
I broke wake up. When I wake up in the morning, where it's gonna leave for high?
Yeah, I always try to throw them in and, like, I was like, yeah, I know you're doing music.
But is it true? You got your GD and HVAC certification?
I didn't get my HVAC certification, but I got my GD. Okay, okay. I read that.
But you took HVAC courses? Yeah, for sure.
Any of your family members call you and be like, hey, how come you need to go to campus?
We all live in Jersey.
You took HVAC courses? What's that?
Yeah, I started it, but, uh, okay, but, uh, when I got my, uh, when I got my date back to come home,
I ain't having enough time to finish. Got you. Yeah.
Well, there were times when you was thinking like, man, after this music, I'm gonna go,
I'm gonna go learn a train. When I come home, this one, I'm gonna go.
Of course, that was the reason why I was doing that. I didn't know like, honestly,
I didn't think none of this was going to happen like this.
Really? Oh, really?
For sure. Yeah, like, I didn't think it was going to come home and it was going to be like this.
I'm like, no, I'm just good.
I was, because all I remember was like, there was like, oh, well, all the equipment's
heavy. We got to carry like the, let me think, like, we got to take the ACs out of stuff like that.
I'm like, I got to get my weight up.
So you worked out because you was like, I got to go HVAC, I got to carry hot water heat.
Is that any of that? If I got to start doing stuff like that, I got to get a little scrum.
I respect that. I respect the fact that you was willing to say, you know, I'm gonna go get a job.
Right. You know, I'm not, I'm not.
You've been working in the garage with your dad every week, Monday to Sunday,
trying to get the whole school up and running. Today, after all the hard work,
y'all finally finished it. So you have that feeling of accomplishment.
You did it. Then your dad throws you the keys and says those three magic words.
All yours, son. Yep. That same car belongs to your grandpa and that your dad helped him fix.
It's yours. Three generations right there keeping the tradition alive.
But if you ask dad to really keep the tradition going, you need to get insurance.
And you already know you need to get stay farmed because your agent,
well, he gets tradition too. His dad was an agent. His grandpa too.
So he gets you generation to generation. Remember to choose the agents that your family counted on.
Like a good neighbor, stay farmed is there.
We know parents want to feel confident as their teens navigate social media.
With Instagram teen accounts, teens get automatic protections by default.
Teens between the ages of 13 to 17 are automatically put into a protective experience.
That means they get built in content settings for what they see, contact limits on who can contact them,
and time management tools like daily time limit reminders as well as sleep mode,
which mute notification from 10 p.m. to 7 a.m.
Plus teens under 16 need a parent's permission to change any of these settings to be less strict.
Instagram continues to work on building new safety features to help create
age-appropriate experiences for teens.

What up everybody, it's DJ and me from the Breakfast Club.
Now, you know me and my wife married 24 years and together over 30.
And yes, we still speak on the phone every day.
I mean, the early days, I didn't have a cell phone.
I couldn't afford a cell phone and the cell phones were like the size of a man's purse.
But anyway, I love speaking to my wife over the phone.
People say we talk too much, but that's my best friend.
Why shouldn't we be able to talk all the time, all day long, 24, 7?
But did you know that 2026 will mark the 150th anniversary of the first ever phone call?
It took place March 10th, 1876.
And that call sparked it all for the first long distant phone lines.
The first lines across America, the first line across the Atlantic,
the first round the world called the first commercial cell service.
The first 911 system, AT&T has been connecting people for 150 years
in so many different ways.
Thank God we have cell phones.
I can connect to my moms, my pops, and my whole family.
Thank you, AT&T.
Connecting changes everything. AT&T.
Hey y'all, what's up? It's Lorna Rosa.
Okay, let's talk curls for a second.
Because you already know if you have curly or coily hair,
moisture is not optional.
It's essential.
Dryness is one of the biggest challenges for curly hair.
In most products, they clock out after wash day.
The new ultra moisture collection was literally designed with our hair and mine.
Curls, coils, all of it.
Powered by botanol oil and Jamaican black castol oil,
which means the science is actually doing the work,
clinically proven to help retain moisture for up to five days,
five whole days.
The shampoo gently cleanses without stripping.
The mass, deeply conditioned, it helps reduce breakage.
The leaving adds a lightweight hydration
with hyaluronic acid.
And the curl cream defines without crunch.
No sulfates, no parabens, no silicones, no mineral oil,
just nourishment without the compromise.
Because here's the thing, your hair deserves products that actually understand it.
Moisture that starts at the root and keeps going well past Sunday.
That's the ultra moisture collection from Cantu.

Once I put my prior to the styling,
once I've removed prior out of the topic,
I started living my life.
I'm saying I'll just be happy.
I'll be chilling.
You know what I mean?
I'll be fine.
I look in the mirror, I look good.
I feel good.
I smell good.
I'll just be chilling.
And that's just that prior to demure light,
prior to take that glow from me.
You know what I'm saying?
You feel like you're too good to ask anybody for help.
I'm not, that's not me no more.
I mean, I don't care how people view me
in certain aspects.
I say like that.
In certain aspects of my life,
I don't care how people view me.
But I mean, like, I know how I feel to have a lot.
I know how I feel to have nothing.
I know how I feel to feel like nothing.
I know how I feel when people feel like they got the power.
You know what I'm saying?
I've been in that situation for four years of my life,
where people telling me where to stand up,
people telling me when I can leave,
and go out to eat,
telling me when I can go work out
or come back in a unit.
You know what I'm saying?
Or just constantly raiding myself
just because they just want to go home and,
hey, that's who's there.
I hit to that.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, I've been through that,
and it's the corneas thing in life.
So, now I'm just living my life for me.
Like, I don't, nobody could,
nobody could ever make me feel that low again.
And I promise I'm never going to let nobody get that power.
When you get your dream from music back,
like when you say, you know what,
I'm going to get a music thing.
It's crazy.
When I left here,
like, I thought we did the interview
is when I left here.
If I'm not mistaken,
that was the day I went straight to the studio,
and that's when I laid down like,
I laid down all of them songs that day.
Really?
Did the Max B collaboration come from Yami in here?
Yeah, for sure.
I was wondering that, okay.
What was it about doing the interview?
I was just the energy, bro.
Like, the energy, man.
Like, y'all just showed me my love.
You know what I'm saying?
Y'all didn't have to trust me.
Listen, we listen to y'all every morning.
So, you know, you're rough up here.
You know, I mean, you're rough up here.
Yeah, for sure.
And the way y'all, the way y'all,
the way y'all just brought me back home, bro.
It just was like, it was all love.
So, it was like, you know, like,
I'm going to, like, I'm going to hear me.
I'm going to be in that top 30 countdown,
like, you know what I mean?
Like, you know what I mean?
Just, just challenges, man.
I just like to challenge myself.
You know, and then it was like, everybody,
like, I was up, like, you know,
then the whole 2015, 2016, 2016.
I'm like, no, I got, let's go have some fun.
That's what made me happy when he came to my,
the black film reunion I did at the mall in American Dream,
to see the kids from age five to 40-year-old people.
That's our video, yes.
It was like, they were just so, I mean, he had the mall stopped,
and it was just, it was multiple floors.
Multiple floors.
But it was like, when I seen a five and six-year-old kid,
knew every record, knew every word,
it was really surprising.
And I, and I seen your face, it was just like,
holy shit, you know what I mean?
Because it's a little bit unbelievable, little bit, you know, like,
like, the time frames don't match up.
And that's what always get me, you know what I'm saying?
Like, I meet a lot of people that are like,
oh, you've shaped my high school years, you've shaped my college years.
But these kids ain't in college or high school.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
Like, it's like, how do you, like, you know what I mean?
And like, for me, it's like, wow, like,
what they call, like, generational, like, different generations.
Like, I made it to two different generations of life.
Like, you know what I mean?
And that's, that don't happen for a lot of people.
So, like, when I walked in here, I'm not expecting that.
Like, you know what I mean? I'm like,
what is going on?
Like, like, this is crazy.
But, you know, it just, it was just like, I'm just happy.
Like, you know what I mean?
Like, I'm just happy for all of it, like, sure.
Speaking of your first time performing, you know,
since you've been out, were you nervous leading up to it?
To actually perform, no.
To be around, like, having people that close to me, yeah.
What made you nervous about that?
I've been in prison for four years now.
So, you like a friend of four, you know, who's there?
Who's not there?
Like, social anxiety.
Because, you know, you just, you got just,
you got the group of people you'd be with.
I mean, I put it to you like this.
If it's too many people going to y'all,
something about to happen to somebody, you know what I'm saying?
Like, something about to happen to somebody.
Like, you know what I mean?
So, you, and a lot of people go,
I thought you wasn't even down that long.
I was down long enough to understand what was happening.
You know what I mean?
I was down, I was, I, I, yeah, I, come on,
we're going to play the back wall.
But you did, you did like four, right?
Yeah.
That's long.
That's not that long.
I know, I know, I know, people say she like that.
I know, I know, I know, I know, I know.
You down that long.
All right, you go do it, dude.
Yeah.
But you got people that, you know,
you got people that's been in there for a long time.
But, you know, they school, like, you know what I mean?
So, like, to come right out,
I think it was literally the next two days
or the next three days or something like that.
And we walking, I'm thinking they're going to have
a little section.
I could probably just, let me, let me ease into it.
As soon as I walked down, I'm talking about right here.
Yeah.
Come on, you know what I'm talking about, right?
Like, I'm like, you know what I'm saying?
Back up, it was crazy.
But it was just, you know,
it was just a little, like, a little uncomfortable at first.
Yeah, so they had, I had like, tell me,
let me go like about a DJ before.
I know all the DJs that was over there.
It's something I feel a little bit better right here.
That's why that video is on me of the DJ.
Like, because I'm like, yeah, I can't stand like this.
I can't do that.
What are you doing for yourself?
Just in my relationship to that, right?
Like, because there's going to be certain things
that will trigger you or not.
I don't know if it's a trigger or just kind of make you
uncomfortable in that way.
Like the social anxiety or maybe a certain sound
certain times of day, like, because you've been,
you know, locked up for the time that you've been locked up.
Is there things that you're doing like therapy
or like, how are you dealing with that?
So, for me, how do it like certain times of day,
I just make sure I try to go like, go stand on the balcony.
Like, I just like stand on the balcony and just look outside.
Like, four o'clock, four o'clock, nine,
thirty, twelve, three, and five.
But I mean, like, those certain times,
like, if you've got anybody that's in the feds,
they tell you those times, like, it's count time.
I was saying, so you kind of like,
or like, when doors slam a little hard,
like, you know what I'm saying?
You kind of jump, like, you know what I mean?
Like, look back, I mean, like, it just,
when you outside, you're standing there, like,
if everybody else walk and you see a few people standing still,
like, what are you doing?
You know what I mean?
You ain't probably even doing that.
But you're just like, it's like,
but it's getting better though over time.
Like, even, I'm, yesterday, my sister,
like, what are you looking at?
Like, I know you spot something.
I mean, I'm just like, no, I'm just trying to figure out
why you standing right there like that.
You know what I mean?
You're standing by the world by the thing.
Like, you just, like I said, mental awareness.
And I love it though.
Like, I don't feel like it's bad.
Like, I feel like it's good to be aware of your stuff
around especially like when you, you know,
certain type of person, because I don't be with a lot of people.
Like, I don't run around with like, just like today.
I don't have security out there.
Just being my sister.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
I mean, my sister would be going to jump back
at the truck, go back to Jersey, like,
but, um, yeah, I mean, you know, certain little things
just still like days like, uh, so Monday is like,
mystery Mondays, Tuesdays, chicken Friday, Tuesdays,
Wednesdays, burger Wednesdays, uh, chicken and bone Thursday,
fish Friday.
So now I just try to eat different things.
Like I, you know, I mean, like, it'll bring you back, like, um,
and then you signify it.
No, yeah, I, yeah, I ate it all.
Is there anything new that you're still getting used to?
Like, what else are you still getting used to?
Um, really?
I just like, just just the kids, bro, like,
like, these little kids just be running up on me.
You never tell you that, yeah?
I'm like, bro, how do you know that?
Like, no sound like, but it's like the TikTok,
like, I've been doing that a lot, like, uh,
like, my little kids, like, like that.
Yeah, I saw the one you did.
You, you getting it.
I'm getting it.
I'm more, I'm learning it.
Like, I've just been like, and everybody like,
yeah, bro, like, you just been having,
I'm like, yeah, I'm just having fun.
Like, I'm, I'm just enjoying it.
Like, you know, and I like, I just did a, uh,
I think it was last Sunday.
I just did a walk for, uh, like a glaucoma walk,
but for the little homie baby Hayes.
I mean, eight months ago, he got, uh,
he was born with congenital glaucoma.
We got the same exact, uh, um,
I want to call it disease.
No, it's condition, condition.
Yeah, you feel me, um, and his, his sister,
his sister was there.
And we did like, we did the little TikTok,
and everything, like, it was a good turnout.
So like, because that's how I've been really like,
like, moving around like I don't, I just tried to,
I just been trying to have fun while still working.
And you know what I mean,
just staying focused and doing something positive.
How are your fatherhood?
I mean, it's good.
Yeah.
It's great. I can't complain.
You know what I mean, like, you know,
everything I was then,
we got like everybody got everybody got their own issues.
But I feel like as a lately, like, you know,
uh, me and the mother of my children,
we just, we talk, we talk to each other
and build life and not
on social media.
Right.
So I was supposed to be.
You know what I mean?
That's been a good thing.
You know what I'm saying?
And I just try to keep it like that.
You know?
Like I'm not the best person in the world.
You know what I'm never claiming to be the best father in the world.
You know what I'm saying?
But I'm going to do what I got to do every time I'm called on you.
You know what I'm saying?
And they understand that what's going on for me.
I'm running around right now with the album and all that doing.
Of course.
I don't know anything.
So they ain't been nothing but all the kids older.
They got phones.
And it's just been...
I just Naman does that face I'm calling them when I could.
Like no minan, like it just been...
Fatherhood is as a blessing.
You know what I mean?
Just to have the kids call your dad with something like what are we doing?
You know what it's like?
Like it's amazing.
You know what I mean?
It's so sad.
Yeah, it's a great...
What do you big mom got mad soon if you came home, right?
Well...
So we talked about that last time here, so it was Bobzeka and then back after that, there
was, but I don't know which what her name is?
What other lice can girl, right.
She got on social media too, she made a video and she was upset and she was talking about
I forget her name though, I don't know when baby moms like skin, I think she has like red hair
or she had black hair at the time, she changes their hair colors a lot.
She lives in Jersey, she's from Jersey.
She's probably like, that's all I'm man.
No, I can't remember her name, but she was upset, it was kind of, it wasn't even about
you seeing the kids, it was something with her talking about you were running around with
people, well you shouldn't have been running around with who weren't holding you down and
she felt like she deserved like eating with them, but that I was just thinking like, you
get a brother a minute, he just came home.
And then we saw you with your kids with Masika and all of that worked out, so.
I mean like, like I said before, I don't talk about, I don't talk bad about them, like
I would never speak bad about them, when I was down they held my, they did what they
had to do, they were great mothers, my kids are healthy and growing, they growing, they
beautiful, they know who I am, they love me, they made sure they knew they loved me,
they didn't forget me, they didn't let them forget me.
I don't want to have a great foot of my kids mom, so I don't have nothing bad to say
about them.
I saw you saying at 1.2, I think it was on Gillian Walo that you had like told, like your
kids you didn't even want them coming to see you after a while.
No, you out there.
So what were the conversations, what were the conversations like just about that time,
because they're probably wanting to know what that time period was like for you.
No, they knew it was going on, like I still spoke some over the phone, as far as like coming
to see me in prison now, you know, it's just, it's like, when I visit over, man, like
I said they got the crowd, you know what I mean, like one thing I can't say though, the
only good thing is like they allow you to have your kid with you the whole time, like
you can see them touch them, they can sit on your life, like they're the entire time,
you know what I'm saying, but when it's over, it's over, and when they say, all right,
come on, like no, I can't come right now, so when you come in, like, I mean, I don't
want to keep having this conversation every week, then I go back, they could just be
somebody playing at the wrong time, I mean, I'm mad that I can't go to my kids or somebody
say something crazy now, you know what I mean, now, I'm about to happen, you know what I mean?
So I'll go after that, make the bed harder or easier, would you rather not see them at
all, let's see them every now and then they'll make it easier, okay, okay, make it
easier, because you're not looking forward to it, you know what I'm saying, like you're
not looking forward to it, and then like, if you got people in the fast, man, you know,
like if you know, you know, man, like you could talk to your kids every day, you know what I'm
saying, you could see your kids every day, you know what I mean, like so if you know I'm
making that happen, unless you just don't got no money, like I'm gonna say like that,
but I mean, be along you do, like or do something, it's a lot of, it's a lot of jobs in
jail, you could do, you could be able to talk to your kids, that's it.
We got new music videos coming out.
Yeah, oh, actually two of them, her white roses is dope, yeah, white roses, so I'm,
can I say the theme of that, so I'll wait and see how that works.
Yeah, good, let me set it up, what's the theme of that?
The theme of what?
The music video, the music video for white roses.
No, I'm asking her, she didn't do that.
Yeah, the music video, white recipe, what's the theme of that, that music video of white
roses?
White roses was good.
I didn't know that in, by the way, we got it.
So you were like the center thing, man, the center thing, yeah, yeah, like I seen that
when I was down, so I'm like, I want to do something like that.
And it just so happened, like the song kind of like fits the timeline of that, that like
that swing jazz, you know what I mean, so it came on dope though, that's like my first
real like 13 hour day video, it was like the whole production, yeah, that's cool.
That's, that's song, love song and right back love song as well too.
I mean, you always been talking to the ladies, but this sounds like a more mature love conversation
on these songs on this new album.
Yeah, for sure.
Is that inspired by anything?
Or anyone?
No, it's just really, I just like to have fun, like I like to have fun, I like to keep
making people feel good, you know what I'm saying?
The only one that would be, the only one would be for someone would be fool for you.
That was an actual letter I wrote for somebody, and I turned it into a song.
Oh, that's the one that's kind of like the snap swing, okay?
No, no, no, that's white roses.
Oh, okay.
Yeah, fool for you is like, it's like the linger flick, cranberry from the cranberry's
linger.
Yeah, so that's like that one.
The reason I ask that, because in white roses, you said this person helped you heal
your broken parts and right back, you talking about somebody held you down, waited for you
to come back.
Now she's there.
So I was like, he said he wrote this off.
Somebody asked him what he wrote it for.
No, fool for you is for somebody.
He said the other ones aren't, but who's fool for you for?
As a person.
Okay.
That's his person.
He has arms and legs.
Yeah.
It's pretty.
Oh, she's pretty.
She got arms and legs.
What if she was a paraplegic?
What if she didn't have legs?
Lauren, he had to be like, no, she didn't have legs.
Lauren, he had to be like, no, she didn't have legs.
Lauren, he had to be like, no, she didn't have legs.
Lauren, he had to be like, no, she didn't have legs.
That was a big, not trying to be like, not inclusive.
That's crazy.
That's crazy.
Is she still around right now?
I mean, she's somewhere around, how are you doing?
Is she still in your life actively as a person that you are invested in?
No, no, not like that.
I mean, wait, what do you mean?
Are you guys still dating?
Is this woman still like, is that your person right now?
Are you kind of like, how is dating been since you've come here?
She's going to always be my person.
I love that.
Okay.
Yeah, but
Sit you right up on.
No, I'm just trying to figure out what that party of life has been like.
It's just very private.
She's trying to figure out who it is.
Don't listen to her.
Yeah, that's it.
It's always going like, you know, like, I feel like once, once everybody
start like, you know, who you with, everybody start having an opinion on something.
Yes.
I like to, some people like living in a piece and I try to let her live on her piece.
If she wanted, if she wanted me to say her name, she would tell me.
And I'll say it.
Yeah.
You know, Xavier is a new chapter, right?
If this was the chapter, people remember you by what did they say about who Freddie
Wobb really is?
Um, well, if, if, if, if people are going to remember me by Xavier, then people are not
going to remember Freddie Wobbler.
People are only, only remember Freddie Wobb for those numbers he was talking.
Mm-hmm.
I mean, Xavier is a different person.
Yeah.
I said, definitely like, more mature like, uh, with the way I handled certain things, um,
like, when we were talking about earlier, as far as like my kids mom, like, you know,
I mean, like, no matter what we go through, I will never, ever allow anybody to, you
know what I'm saying?
Like, well, not in front of me, you know, I mean, like, I don't care how people view
them.
You know what I mean?
We could be, we could hate each other, Gus at the moment, but for what they did for
me when I was gone with my children and make sure they was okay, I'm always forever
hold them down.
Like, you know what I'm saying, like, and you've got to have growth with that.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
You've got to be able to separate the, uh, the, the little boy feelings from the man
feelings, right?
You know what I'm saying?
And, you know what I mean?
It took a little time for me to do that, you know, so it's like, um, just me as a person,
just who I hang with.
Like, you've got to, at some point in life, you've got to understand, like, yo, what y'all
doing, I'm not on that no more.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
Like, I ain't doing that no more, like, I'm trying to go up, like, I'm trying to go
up.
Like, oh yeah, I love my hug.
I'm always, always come back home, you know what I'm saying?
But as far as we just, we just like, well, let's go, let's go to the, let's go to the
pool hall.
That's like, well, I got, I'm trying, I'm trying to be in the wrongs.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
I'm trying to be in the wrongs.
I'm trying to, you know, at any time they see me or he next to some such a, he over there
with such and such.
And even if we don't, I don't even know him, like, well, I'm just there, like, well,
while we're in there, like, you know what I'm saying?
We pulling myself, like, I mean, like, I'm, I'm trying, I'm trying to really, really
go up, bro, like, I mean, I'm not playing around, like, I don't have no time to be chilling.
I don't have time to just be, let's just, let's go to the strip club.
And I don't got time for none of that.
Like, if we're not making no money, I'm not coming, bro, like, you know what I'm saying?
If it's not making sense, I'm not coming for me.
If it don't, if it don't affect my brand to where it's elevate in the brand, I'm not
going.
Like, you know what I mean?
And that's just how I'm on it.
Like, like, it's not one time since I've been down, I, when I used the phone, however,
I've ever seen Jay-Z just pop up at a random strip club for free.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
I don't even ever think I seen him in the strip club.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, I've never seen him do nothing that didn't benefit his brand, you know what I mean?
And like, I'm not no Jay-Z at all.
Like, you know what I mean?
But I like to follow, I like to follow greatness.
So I'm following the way I see people move.
Like, you know what I'm saying?
And if, if he got to a billion doing that, I'm going to do the same thing because I'm
trying to get there.
Absolutely.
What's the joint you want to play off that?
What you want to hear, brother?
Um, we could play, we could, uh, we could play that nasty, man, because you know what I'm
saying?
And it's going to be, I just going to be nice, right?
It's nice.
Okay.
That's right.
Well, let's get into it right now as nasty, featuring Tink, and we appreciate you
for joining us.
Absolutely.
I just want to say one thing I, I do respect is I like to watch people when, when the cameras
are not on.
And when I seen you leaving an event, a kid stopped you and just said, you know, they
wanted a picture.
And what impressed me is you sat there and you spoke to that kid for a minute, right?
Kid had no idea.
But he was asking the kid, like, so what do you like to do?
Well, I do this.
And it was just like a connection where you didn't have to, like, you know, you could have
just got out of there.
You, you know, you, you, you, you, what you had to do, but I respect that because for that
kid, when you, when you left, he was happy and I don't know what, but when I respect that
the most because you make those connections with your fans and a lot of people don't
sorry.
He's a big shit.
I'm so about a kid.
I can't even say a pig.
You don't know what that could be.
I know what it was.
Is that like something from y'all time?
Y'all time, you know, I'm just trying to give you some problems.
I'm just trying to say.
Fatty number of the kids.
I just want to give a shout out to all the artists that's on the project.
You know what I'm saying?
Everybody that took their time out to, to send back their verses and that even took the
time out to listen to the song.
I felt like it was good enough that they wanted to be on it.
So all the producers that, that helped me with this project, um, I just want to thank
everybody for just showing me love, I said, oh yeah, I'm free to go out.
Right.
The jersey going to love you for having to out be out on the rules.
Yes.
I got, I got all men from Jersey.
We got a honey baby.
Honey baby.
We have a hard look.
My boy O's coming from the zip line.
My sky I'm killing it too.
I got both of my sisters up there and my older brother.
Monty.
Monty on.
No, Monty.
Good day.
No, Freddie.
I've been with our Monty.
You know what I mean?
You know he up there.
I don't even count.
