Hi, I'm David Brooks. As I've been surfing the podcast universe, the thought has occurred to me that there are a lot of shows about tech and politics and business and health. But there aren't enough about the big questions of life. How do you find your purpose? How do you confront death? How do you save a relationship that's going through a rough patch? How do you build a just society? And so the Atlantic is starting a new podcast. It's called the permanent questions. We're going to talk to the great teachers all across America about the big questions you have to ask if you're going to lead a meaningful life. These are the questions we have to figure out together. If we're going to build a humane society. It premieres on Sunday, September 13th. A new episode will come out every Sunday after that. You can subscribe wherever you get your podcasts and on the Atlantic's YouTube channel. I hope you'll join us. It could even be good for your soul.
