2:06Anyway, yes, new watches, iPhone 18 Pro, 18 Pro Max, and a new health app that will help the Apple Watch compete with the Woop. So they're trying to catch up with Woop. Maybe they'll succeed. Maybe finally I'll be able to dump one of these and keep just one. Maybe the battery life on the Apple Watch will improve this after charge every two weeks, this after charge three times a day. No, not talking about the Republican Convention today. Maybe tomorrow, well, you know, tomorrow there's no show. So no, I'm not going to talk about the Republican Convention. It seems like just a circus and you know, where Trump is pretending he's incredibly popular and going out there and being the frontman for the Republican Party with the hope that they, you know, that they can hold on to the Senate and the House. Although I think the chances of the holding onto the House are slim. And the chances that the Democrats take over the Senate are actually growing.

5:13And I don't think a mid-term Republican Convention, which as far as I know, this is the first time ever it's being held. It's just an opportunity for Trump to stride around while he's still president and boss people around and pretend that he's as important as significant as he was in the past. All right, let's talk about the news. And we'll start with you on. Old Prices are back trading above $100 a barrel today. And these are above the early, 25% above the early August levels. This is a direct consequence of the fact that the risk of war in the Gulf and the risk of further disruptions above and beyond what we already have in the Gulf and in the Saudi in the Red Sea have only increased.

6:13Right now, you are in the United States doing a tit for tat, they tit for tat, but they're doing it differently this time. So the United States is like, I mean, maybe this is what they're saying. I don't know. Like we destroyed all the military capabilities. What else is there for us to do? Which is a little ridiculous, very ridiculous. But anyway, you are not as launched twice now. It is tried to actually hit an American warship with ballistic missiles. And those missiles will be knocked down. The Iranians claim they hit the boat, but they hit an American ship, but that is unverified and almost, almost simply just not true. Ian said in 74 and 78, they were midterm. And it didn't help them in 74. And you know, and then another one happened in the, in terms of the election afterwards.

7:13So I don't know if it helped them in 74 and 78, but anyway. Anyway, the Iranians tried to, well, they shot ballistic missiles at two U.S. Navy warships. And those missiles would knock down. There is growing fear in the United States that the Iranians are developing with the help of the Russians and the Chinese. More missiles that are going to be more difficult for the U.S. Navy to shoot down. In order, the goal is to strike a warship, one of the America's warships. They believe that they can strike a warship, cause American casualties. Ultimately, that'll lead Trump to leave. We'll see, we'll see if they have their capabilities and we'll see how well the United States is able to defend its own military assets in the Gulf of Oman.

8:14As a consequence of that, what the U.S. is doing now is a new strategy. Instead of attacking military targets within Iran, like radars and, you know, missile places where they still missiles or missile launches or whatever remnants there are of the Navy, the United States started just attacking Iranian tankers. They let the tanker know in advance so that the crew can evacuate. And then they either decap, you know, actually make it impossible for the ship to function, destroy the engine, or actually blow the ship up. So, they have done this to 10 Iranian tankers in a week. And this is consistent with like economic war, though these tankers are not doing anything right now. Remember, because of the blockade, none of these tankers are leaving or entering Iranian ports. So it's like clear exactly what damage is doing to the Iranians in the short

9:17run at least. In the long run, it, you know, make it very difficult to the Iranians to recover once the straight opens, once the blockade is lifted. Maybe that's the goal. Take out all the tankers. So, Iran is even if the United States leaves, Iran can't ship oil in and out because none of its tankers are available. They can lease tankers from other countries. Other countries can bring them oil, take oil. So I'm not sure, I don't understand the strategy. You think that given that the Iranians continue to shoot ballistic missiles at American warships and they continue to shoot American ballistic missiles at American bases all around them at least, that the whole focus of America strikes back this tetra-tat would be to destroy the capacity of the Iranians to launch these missiles, to destroy whatever inventory of missiles they have, and destroy the launches. I mean, Iran today, I fired 18 ballistic missiles. No, 20 ballistic missiles towards a US

10:23military base. And Jordan, Jordan says it intercepted 18 of them to fell in unpopulated areas and no casualties were reported. But to knock down 18 ballistic missiles cost a fortune. And it continues to deplete the limited number of, for example, Patriot missile interceptors. So why isn't the United States using its fighter jets and their ability to strike any way in Iran pretty safely? Why aren't they using that to go after ballistic missile launches? 13:39No basis for that. When ballistic missiles have hit the American Jordanian base, that was reported when the United States has taken casualties in the Jordanian or Iraqi military bases. That has been reported. It's very hard to hide these things. You very quickly get medical airplanes taking casualties to a military bases in Germany. I mean, the fact is that this supporting is pretty accurate. At least after a few days, maybe you don't get the exact number the day of, but pretty accurate, a longer term. And look, when it comes to Israel, the ballistic missile damage that was caused in Israel, I just was in Israel. I witnessed whatever was going on with my own eyes. The damage was minimal. Yes, there were casualties. Yes, some residential buildings were hit, primarily in the broader

14:42Tel Aviv area and some in Haifa. But I mean, trivial and minor, not to the people who lost their homes and not to the people who lost their lives. But in terms of the threat Israel faced with the Guaturan insignificance. So the damage was nonexistent. Let's see. I mean, the the Iranians have also attacked ships in the Gulf. For example, Iraqi officials confirmed that a tank of carrying two million barrels of fuel were struck by a drone in Iraqi waters. Crew was unhurt and there and no oil leak in this case happened. One of the things that's going on in the Gulf is there's so many oil leaks right now from these attacks that, yeah, it just become a nightmare in terms of dealing with all the oil in the Gulf.

15:47As we've talked about, the Houtis yesterday attacked Saudi cities and energy sites. And Saudi Arabia has not responded as far as I know yet to those strikes. You can expect some kind of retaliation maybe or maybe they'll do something different. I don't know. In addition, the IRGC has announced that it's expanded the maritime zone that Iran will control. They're extending it beyond the Homo strait towards the Gulf of Iran. They haven't published exact maps and operating rules, but they are very ambitious and they're basically taking control of the whole area. Of course, that area right now is mostly controlled by the US Navy, some by the Iranians and this is what the TITTA TAD constant dispute is going on. I mean, the effect of all this, beyond just the craziness of it and the insanity of it, you know, that we won't win, we refuse to win. We do

16:52everything we can not to win. The ultimate effect of this is all prices going up, but it's not just oil. You're seeing refined fuels, particularly in Europe and natural gas prices, why is significantly Britain is reporting higher gasoline and diesel prices at the pump. We know that in the United States, diesel prices are really high because we have limited refining capacity in the United States for diesel. So this is continuing. You know, in a sense, there's nothing new, but every day they're bombings, every day the United States is knocking out some random Eurenean ship. Again, I don't know why, don't understand it. It doesn't make any strategic sense, but then of course, we are governed in the United States by a president who has no sense strategy. So why would it make strategic sense?

17:58Talk about Donald Trump, a president. The trade war with Canada continues. TITTA TAD, TITTA, I mean, he's good at TITTA TAD. This is what he's really good at sometimes. Before you, you know, unless he surrenders, and then the TITTA TAD is over. But beginning, supposedly announced today, beginning September 29th, the United States plans to prohibit, not tariff, not tax, not limit, not restrict prohibit, prohibit the sale in the United States, the importation into the United States. A most Canadian alcoholic beverages. Now, notice it's September 29th. Guess what's happening in the next 20 days? In the next 20 days, Canada is going to flood the United States market with Canadian alcoholic beverages, because the prohibition only goes to affect September 29th. So anyway,

Not exactly clear what that means. Now no, here the president is not just

21:07taxing Canadian goods. He's prohibiting them. Now I don't know the law well enough in this area. But is this allowed for the president to do unilaterally without congressional approval? Can the president establish an embargo? Not for national security reasons, not because of a war without congressional approval. Can he prohibit goods from other countries? I mean, if he can, without any limitation, that gives Trump a power that goes way beyond tariffs. That's a way to ensure stuff. Just prohibit imports. Just making it illegal to import anything from anyway. Anyway, we've got retaliatory tariffs. So we know from Canada, we'll see if Canada retaliates to these prohibitions. Trade wars in sane things.

22:09Canadian Prime Minister is saying that they're going to try to double non-US exports within a decade. How about just, well, I've said it so many times, it's boring even to say it. But how about just reducing tariffs to zero on making Canada a free trade place? Anyway, what the hell? That is Canada, United States, your main Canada is largest and geographically close to market. Canada and the US are each other's largest trading partners, Mexico and Canada, the two of the two largest trading partners of the United States. It's interesting that Trump is chosen Canada for his signature trade war and not Mexico, for example. Not sure exactly why. What it is about the Canadians that really rubs them the wrong way. Maybe he wants to take all the Canada, but he's not that interested in taking over Mexico. Too many gangs, too much crime.

25:21newspaper Haalitz that during a 45-minute call, the Mohammed bin Zayed of the UAE's president warned that the scene was preparing some major operation. Netanyahu's office today says that it is reviewed his telephone logs and found no such call. It also says visitor records show no entry by the Emirati representative who would ordinary, delivered the encrypted telephone used for private leader to leader call. So they're denying this call ever happened. Haalitz is as of this afternoon standing by the report. The UAE says it doesn't comment on private conversations between leaders and is neither confirmed nor explicitly denied their alleged call. Netanyahu is also claiming that he is preparing a defamation action. He plans to sue Haalitz

26:32over this disclosure and claims that it's all politics given that they elections in a month. Netanyahu has in the past claimed that he's preparing a defamation action. He did that with a god to a story in New York. Times a few months ago, he did it with a god to another story by Haalitz, I think a few years ago. This is, you know, popular and preparing. No defamation, lawsuit has been filed, but he is preparing. And of course he has to deny the whole thing. It's a month before the election. This is why you need an actual, actual, right? Investigation, which nobody has done. Somebody needs some third party needs to look at the telephone logs and they visit a records and see if they've been tampered with and see if they're real. As I said yesterday, it wouldn't surprise me at all if these warnings, if Netanyahu

27:35received these warnings and chose to ignore them, it chose to ignore them because he valued his own strategic assessment of the situation higher than anybody else's alleged intelligence. A separate allegation also made yesterday by a different newspaper, not one necessarily affiliated with the left. Says Netanyahu, we see the Netanyahu, you know, was warned by the ancient bad chief, were an imbal about a possible Hamas earthquake. We talked about that yesterday. That claim I haven't seen the Netanyahu office deny or reject. So hot it's up. It is interesting that they went after Haalitz because it's an obvious target because it's a leftist newspaper. But they did not go after the Jerusalem post and they did not go after the Shinbed chief, although he is not commenting directly on this either. Former Prime Minister Benet,

28:37not to leave Benet, says Netanyahu, we see multiple domestic and foreign warnings, but he is not, Benet just not released any evidence establishing the Emirati call or any of the other allegations. Again, my viewers, I would not be surprised at all if Netanyahu received these warnings and chose to ignore them and chose not to take them as seriously as they should be taken. The military also claimed in month past that they had submitted reports to the Prime Minister's office and they were told that these were not serious and none of this rose to level for Netanyahu to order the military to increase its vigilance before October 7. So, I mean, look, any way you turn this, and I don't want to repeat too much what I said yesterday, but any way you turn this, any way you twisted, any way you look at

29:41this Netanyahu was the Prime Minister when it happened. Netanyahu was the Prime Minister almost exclusively for the 15 years before it happened. You cannot erase his responsibility for this. And again, I urge anybody voting in these really elections to vote against Netanyahu. And by the way, that means also not voting for political parties that would align themselves with Netanyahu, not voting for political parties that are going to create a coalition with Netanyahu. It means making sure Netanyahu will not cannot lead a government in Israel's future, hopefully. I mean, I think this would be a major positive events in Israel and for Israel's future is if Netanyahu is just retired from politics after the selection and let a new generation of liquid leaders take his political party.

30:45I think that will also make possible a right of center, a political union and a majority government in Israel that excludes the crazy nutty nationalist, the religionists, the ultra-orthodox party and basically forms a secular right of center, big without significant majority in the parliament. So for that to happen, for that to happen, Netanyahu has to be out and he has to lose and hopefully then retire. All right. That year that Israel knew it and let it happen is insane. It shows a lack of any understanding of Israel, of the politics of Israel, but also of just these really people. The idea that they would let

31:451,200 of their own citizens die for the sake of some political goal or some ambitious and about taking Gaza. That's any odd, very, very many opportunities to go in and take Gaza. Netanyahu had no interest in taking Gaza. There was no political goal he was going to achieve. His political coalition was stable and strong at the time. This is just an ignorant conspiracy theory that is perpetrated by people who either don't understand and have no idea about Israel, know nothing about the country or just hate Israel for whatever reasons and want to smear it any way that they can. But there's just zero. There's just zero possibility that this was done on purpose. It was not done on purpose. It was done because Netanyahu was arrogant about his own assessment of Hamas, which he believed wanted to be left alone

Remember, this is the same prime minister who allowed Kato and Iran to funnel billions and billions of dollars into Gaza, same prime minister who sat aside while Hamas attacked Israel with missiles, year over year over year, the same prime minister who sat on the sidelines while Hamas built a massive network, massive network of underground tunnels, smuggled weapons in from Egypt, everybody knew it and threw some of those tunnels and built up a cache of weapons that was a real threat to Israeli security. And he sat on his hands while all of this happened. That is not a prime minister that once is able to be attacked, that is a prime minister that is either coward. Well, these are not exclusive. It could be all of their but a coward,

The new Prime Minister in Britain has got to appease is very anti-Israeli left and is moving the country significantly to the left on everything related to Israel than if predecessor was already pretty much anti-Israel. The measure tries to distinguish settlement linked commerce from trade with Israel generally. And this is going to be difficult to do. It's going to require legislation, which the willing government is trying to push forward.

Implementation is expected within six to nine months. Our fans and Canada and other governments are pursuing similar measures and trying to coordinate together to do this. You know, the foreign secretary has said that violent settlers were coming out ethnic cleansing with government support. Now, violent settlers are doing some

39:12horrible things in the West Bank. And they should be stopped. And another reason why this government needs to be defeated is the fact that they're not implementing the law, the law of the land, that they are allowing nationalist religious fanatics to one rough shot on the West Bank. My nephew, my nephew who was serving in the West Bank has been serving in the West Bank for a while. He was in reserve duty for two or three months in the West Bank. And it turned out that almost most of the conflict he was engaged in was with settlers, not with Palestinians, but with settlers. Actually, Broke's finger had to have surgery because of what a settler did to him. It's just horrible. My other nephew, I've got another nephew, younger nephew who's doing his compulsory military service and he's also in the West Bank, also dealing with the settlers. It's just horrible. It's disgusting in Israel. If it wants to preserve its designation as a country

40:17that respects the rule of law needs to stop this and needs to end it. Anyway, Israel responded and again, a tit for tat situation, right? Is it responded by closing the British Consulate in East Jerusalem, removing British representatives from Gaza cease by a monitoring center and ending British training for Palestinian authority security forces and borrowing the group of British lawmakers and citizens from coming, I guess, to the West Bank. I mean, the funny thing is why it is, but never constantly in East Jerusalem, to facilitate all the aid that they are providing the Palestinian authority and the are training Palestinian authority security forces. So today, German Chancellor Frederick Moetz responded to the victory, I mean, the significant victory of the AFD in Saxony and Hald, and to his own party's massive defeat. Moetz said that re-immigration was a cinema for ethnic cleansing based on origin and skin color. He argued that mass expulsions would also remove workers essential to hospitals, care homes, trades and restaurants. He also said the Germany should

44:38deport more people who lack a right to remain while distinguishing them from migrants who work in heavily goresonous. He is the elephant, the 700 pound, is that right? 700 ton, 700 something. What is the reference to the weight of the elephant? Here's the elephant in the room that nobody wants to talk about. The AFD doesn't talk about it, and Chancellor Moetz doesn't talk about it, but it's unvote his minds, and it's why I think the AFD is one. And the elephant in the room is Islam. It's not just any immigrants that are problematic here. It's Muslim immigrants, and particularly Islamist Muslim immigrants. Muslim immigrants committed to changing German society, committed to Sharia law, committed to not assimilating, and some of whom are committed to violent actions. Instead of just talking honestly about Muslim immigrants in Germany, and it's not

45:43all Muslims, but it's the Islamist element of the Muslim immigrants to Germany. Instead of facing up to that and talking directly about that, it's all about ethnic cleansing and skin color from Moetz and AFD. It's all about foreigners and remigration. Now it could be that AFD just doesn't care if the Muslims are not. They just want you out of there. And it could be that they are they're just plain racist, probably the case. But the voters are voting because they're real angst. And the angst, I don't think, is motivated just, although some of it is motivated by racism. Some are just motivated by, you know, the the ongoing kind of relatively small scale terrorist attacks that happen, a stabbing here or stabbing there, a car running over a Christmas market or whatever. And it's always the same. It's always an Islamist, an Islamist immigrant in Germany that was maybe suspected of Islamist ideas that is in Germany illegally and has not been deported.

46:49So just say, if you're affiliated in any way with an Islamist cause, if you're supportive of any of the Muslim brotherhood and of other organizations, then maybe I don't know their names up, but that are committed to jihad, we are going to deport you tomorrow. If Moetz did that, he would completely defuse their PLA, the AFD. The AFD is painting a broad brush. So I'm not sure if it's within 10 to years or by the end of this decade. Over 10%. That's pretty high probability of a life on earth or human life on earth ending

1:01:38event. Now, it's statement as followed, there is a nation of an anthropic researcher Jacob Cox up. Just once again, I have to do something here. What is that? And a copy. Think that caught it. Okay. That follows the resignation of a South American researcher. Cox, when he resigned said he had spent three years doing pre-training research and opening AI and anthropic and resigned because he believed both companies were racing towards self-improving superintelligence irresponsibly. Hubbinger wrote that anthropic is trying to address the problem, but does not yet have a plan to solve human extinction. The alignment problem for superintelligence,

1:02:40it is not clearly on track to obtain one. The fear mechanism is future recursive self-improvement, the AI improving itself. By a stealthy theoretical superintelligence system, not a claim that common deployed models can exterminate humanity. So the idea is that this is where we're heading, but within a decade. So, in this particular story that I read, British politicians and researchers are pressing international control, international patrols, or even a poor ambition of creating artificial superintelligence. I don't know what superintelligence means. I mean, I'm using Claude Chachibitiquite a lot. Wow, they are already super-valuable superintelligence in some way. I mean, not human intelligence, but some kind of intelligence. The tasks that they do,

These ideas of extinction events are mainly a distraction at this point. But people are taking this seriously. We're talking about senior people at Anthropic and AI and indeed the CEO of Anthropic and the CEO of AI and Elon Musk have all argued that human extinction is a high probability event. I am saying over 10% probability events in the fusion. No wonder people are afraid. No wonder people oppose data centers when the people in the industry, the leaders of the industry are saying, war going to die. Stop us, please. Do something. Stop us.

The question is, was the, you know, the conduct of these Chinese companies, an evasion of access control and contractual restrictions. The technique itself is, is widely used. It's a question is did they indeed violate the terms of agreement? Is, would anybody be surprised if they did?

1:06:45Chinese commerce secretary, minister says the claims lack factual and legal support notes that American, American firms also distill Chinese models and warns of countermeasures if the allegations are used to restrict Chinese companies. I think it's going to. My expectation as the Trump administration will ban Chinese models from the American market. But anyway, the air traffic control system in the United States is run by a semi-private entity called NATS and ATS. It provides air traffic services to 15 UK airports. It's a government-granted monopoly.

It looks like it has algebra and calculus unedited to actually calculate or describe a cantonary curve. So this guy is a true example, a real example, real example of a perceptual level mentality of somebody who cannot rise above perceptions. 1:26:44at a party. He never had an advisor skipped every freshman requirement at graduation. They were like, how the fuck? Mexico's homicide rate is declining dramatically, consistent with a phenomenon all over the world that's not well understood. Mexico has reported homicide decline now appears in both a broad independent index and the

1:31:01latest preliminary government data. The scale is large. The Mexico Peace Index reports that the homicide rate fell 22.7% in 2025, equal to nearly 7,000 fewer deaths and the largest annual decline in the indexed history. Preliminary government data record 10,309 intentional homicides during the first seven months of 2026, the lowest comparable total in roughly a decade. The government says daily homicide count has fallen sharply from 2024 levels. And you know, we'll see what the final figures show, but that's where we are today. Now, disappearances and extortions still remain high in Mexico. A lower homicide count cannot even reflect reduced, you know, open conflict between cartels. And we don't know why that's happening. It's probably not a result of stronger law enforcement or not alone.

1:32:04Why are the drug cartels fighting less? Maybe because they consolidated, maybe because there's one big bully that's running everything. So we don't exactly why, but it's still a good thing that fewer people are dying of homicide in Mexico. So it's definitely, it's definitely on the good news side. All right. Some AI related ones. Russian and State University researchers used an AI guided search to identify lower power settings for an additive manufacturing with GRCOP 42, whatever that is. A heat resistant copper alloy developed for rocket engines. So the system evaluated more than 100 million possible combinations, a printing parameters before researchers selected candidates for physical testing. Forty physical trials produced six workable power meter sets, including one using a 500 watt

1:33:06laser, which is the lowest reported power for printing this alloy by the tested process. Now lower laser requirements could make the alloy usable on a wider range of meta printers and reduce the cost of exploring new manufacturing settings. Now what's the point here? The point is that AI could be used to iterate across hundreds of millions of possibilities and optimize manufacturing processes in ways that would be way too expensive, almost impossible to do without AI. I mean, these are the kind of little uses that they're going to be thousands of millions of them. It's going to apply to every manufacturing process, every scientific process, and every other productive activity in the economy.

1:34:07So yeah, I mean, this is exciting. And again, you can get a number of data points, the quantity of data and the quality of the analysis cannot be matched by anything other than by anything else. Here's another one. Deep, deep mind. Rougo's deep mind is released a one petabyte, one of your techies can tell us what a petabyte is. One petabyte research atlas, predicting the molecular effects of every possible single letter substitution in the human reference genome. This is a mirror bends one, right? So they're putting an atlas together, predicting the molecular effects of every possible single letter substitution in the human reference genome.

1:35:11The atlas contains predictions for roughly 9 billion variants across both protein coding and non-coding DNA. Researchers can access the resource through a free academic web portal and API, using an aggregate score to rank variants for follow up. In one rare disease collaboration, alpha genome highlighted an abnormal splice site associated epileptic encephalopathy. Laboratory screening supported that specific prediction. So the thing is now, you know, think with gene editing, gene splicing, with CRISPR, and this just opens up the world in terms of possibilities. And you create bio bank analysis reported more associations in non-coding regions than variants were grouped using predicted function effects, including candidate, loci, connected

1:36:17to body mass index. So yeah, I mean, people are going to find so many different applications for this. This is going to make everything so much easier. Okay, a peta, a peta bite is 1,024 terabytes. Why? Why would be 1,024? Why wouldn't you stick to the decimals, you know, the, the, the, why wouldn't you stick to 1,000? Why the 24? What's a 24 playing in there? What's a terabyte? Anyway, AI, doing amazing stuff and it's just the beginning. It's just a very, very, very, very beginning. All right, here's another one. Agroversal. Agroversal for optic nerve disease. It's biocytes. It's begun the first human trial of ER 100, a gene therapy designed to partially reset

1:37:21epigenetic programs in surviving retinal gangloin cells. The study targets open angle glaucoma and non-turitic anterior ischimetic optic neuropathy. I shouldn't be doing these. I can't pronounce any of these words. ER 100 delivers three programming factors. Oh, see, you know, three factors using a viral vector. The therapy is injected into the eye and is intended to rejuvenate existing cells without converting them into stem cells. This would be the first treatment ever if it was successful to rejuvenate a human cell. The first participant was dosed in June, 2026 after the authorization of the Phase I study. The trial plans to enroll about $18. The primary endpoint of safety and tolerability, visual function measurements exploratory

1:38:25and participants will be monitored over several years. The company reports improvement in neural signaling and aspects of vision in a non-human primate model of optic nerve injury. These primate results have not yet been established to a peer-reviewed clinical publication, but supposedly it happened in mice. So it's going to be interesting. But if they can rejuvenate a retinal cell, why couldn't they rejuvenate any of these, you know, any cell, a nurse, make a younger again? But with the right combination of ideas and the right demagogue and demagogue and the right policy agenda, you could probably create and sustain an authoritarian system in the United States in the future. And I think that's what we're heading as we get more and more disgusted with the left and the right. We just want somebody to take control and do what's necessary. Somebody's going to do that.

1:48:50I think right now voting penalizing Republicans should be a main agenda item. Next we'll have to penalize the Democrats. And then it'll depend on how the Republicans will learn to anything from being penalized. Probably not. That's a sad thing. I mean, I just prefer not to vote. I'm not pawks about the houses. I don't have to pollute my own, you know, whatever energy you need in order to go and vote to pollute myself to choose between these horrific and horrible choices. All right. Noah. Hey, you're on. 1:50:52Accidents happen, mistakes happen, and also sometimes the bad guys and the terrorists hide amongst the civilians. So they're going to die and it's going to be on the hands of the terrorists. Why be apologetic about that? Why not just say this is a war self-defense? A tax money, a well being used really, really well to defend you. And part of defending you requires civilian casualties. The more you apologize for it, the more there seems to be the more people are going to get upset by their tax money being used this way. Not apologizing, face up to it, it's completely 100% legitimate and acknowledge its legitimacy. So yeah, and that goes for Israel and the United States. Israel is fighting a war that is part of America's war.

1:51:52And it itself defense is part of America's self defense. Of all the stuff your tax money is going to do, the money given to Israel is the least of your problems. It really is. And I'm not just saying that because I'm pro-Israel. I'm saying that because it's the least of your problems. The amount of money going to destroy our own country right now. Directly. So it's the America's enemies. Far far far far far far far exceeds the amount of money America sends to Israel. And yet that's what people focus on. Shahzat says, there was a mix up apparently with my TV review request. Here is the alternative. Well, you know, was there a mix up? Now I'm confused, but I think there was. You know, in some period in the decade before October 7th, I think any military leader during

1:58:1824 hours straight of driving, 24 hours of driving two hours a day. That matters because it matters. 24 hours, but that would say what? It's $4 an hour. Do I want to? $100 seems like a very low amount of money in order to save 25 hours. My time is worth more than $4 an hour. So yes, I'd be willing to put $100 in to do that. If my time is worth less than $4 an hour, that is, if I'm really struggling and have no money, then sure, I'm willing to work at $3 an hour, then I would do the driving. So you only have to think about what your time is worth, and so on. But it also depends on whether it's 24 hours of driving a straight, dispersed. If it's straight, yeah, definitely $100 because it's dangerous and you're risking your life

1:59:24and you're going to be tired and you can't do anything else productive while you drive. If it's dispersed, you can listen to books. You can at least it's not dangerous. But yeah, I mean, absolutely. I would retain that cost. But even to make serious personal budget cuts, because again, it's valuing your time at $4 an hour. Your time is worth more than that. You know, by any measure, not if the time saving cannot be converted into money. Well, but it can always be converted into money in one way or the other, right? There's always an on and on job you can do for 24 hours that will earn you more than three or four bucks. I mean, I think if you exercise your imagination just a little bit, can you think of things that you could do for 24 hours that would generate more than $100? Yes. Am I in the middle of a family dispute?

2:00:29I feel like I'm in the middle of a family dispute. If your income is fixed, adding $100 to your deficit just makes you poorer. Yes. But spending 24 hours driving makes you poorer as well. It makes you poorer spiritually. It makes you poorer in time. I mean, the most valuable thing you have in life is time, not money. Now again, it really depends on your situation. How big of a financial hole you're in. But you know, it's a really a question of the time value, the dollar value of your time. It's 25 hours you're not spending with your kids. Is that worth 100 bucks to you? Not to spend 24 hours with your kids? I mean, I can think of a lot of things you would do with those 24 hours that are worth more than $100 to you.

2:01:30I'm big on, you know, you have to take into account the fact that, you know, I am risk taking when it comes to money. Right? I, you know, I had a negative net worth most of my life, most of my adult life. I've carried a huge amount of debt. I've lived on the edge when I was the CEO of the Institute. I ran the Institute on a credit line. You know, I'm comfortable with financial, with financial, um, scarcity, financial, uh, minimalism. I don't know what you want to call it, financial risk. And but time is valuable. Time is valuable. Time is all you have. And if it was $1,000, yeah, okay.

2:02:30Now now you're talking now, now it's 50 bucks and it's, it's, uh, 40 bucks an hour. Now that's real money. $100 for one over a year. It's got to be ways you can make $100 during a year and not have your income fixed. Sell something. Um, I don't know. Go most, most somebody's lawn for a couple of weeks. I mean, there are lots of ways to make $100. And it's, it's, it's, it's far preferable than driving for 20 hours, I think. I'll leave that for you to think about. Matt, being an educated ignorance and overall just dumb gives you more popularity in this country. It makes you relatable. Trump leveraged in both elections. Yeah, I guess that's true. It's, it's, it's discouraging and sad and makes it frustrating for somebody like me who's

2:03:35trying to make a living off of attracting, thoughtful people, people who think. And I guess it's just not enough to make a, a significant living. I'm not complaining. I'm making a good living. But, but really to, to grow into, to, yeah. I mean, how can he, how can he make millions, millions, tens of millions a year? I just want one million from the show. One, I'd be really, really, really happy. All right. Michael says, was hectic coming out from behind the wall to fight a keelies honorable, a foolish altruistic duty? Well, in the context of the culture of the time, it's the honorable thing to do. It's, it's what you do. Otherwise, you're tainted as a coward for the rest of your life.

2:04:36And that has a lot of implications for what kind of life you can live and, and what kind of life you can have. Hector has no choice but to come out. You can't evaluate him. He's not doing it altruistically. He's not doing it for, he's, you might say it's irrational, but it's not altruistic. There's nothing altruistic about it. You might say that view of honor is foolish and irrational, but it's none of it is altruism. And, you know, Greece was not altruistic. Home was not altruistic. None of this is altruistic. This is what, if you were a man, if you were a, a, a, a, a, warrior, this is what you did. And this is how you lived. There was no other conception of, you know, honor possible. Roland. I'm off on sabbatical December, through July, planning Canada, the South and Central America, maybe Japan at the end. Many must go places you do command outside of that. Oh, wow, that's pretty, that's a pretty heavy schedule. Canada's beautiful. South and Central America, pretty amazing, particularly South America. And Japan is beautiful and interesting and fascinating. I mean, if you can go to China, I would definitely recommend going to China. Shanghai in Huangzhou, which is a little south of Shanghai. If you like scenery, the yellow mountains, amazing, these, these young and better than these young is even, God, I forget, I forget the place. Anyway, beautiful places all over China.

2:06:39I would definitely, if you're doing a trip around the world anyway, and you're in Japan, might as well go to China and check it out. Who knows if in five years we'll be able to go, if it won't become more authoritarian. Now where they're still open to foreigners and you can still travel there. Now's the time to go. Hong Kong, go see Hong Kong, go to Singapore. And finally, my final recommendation, New Zealand, southern island, southern island of New Zealand is one of the most beautiful places on planet Earth. It's just gorgeous. Take five days, rent a car, drive, do a loop, drive around the island, just stunning scenery. Why would she say it? So it could be a quick shortcut, but then it's your responsibility to go and say,

Any abstract statement, abstract terms that Iron Man used. You want to make it yours. And a big part of that is putting it into your language. But what would Iron Man say is a good starting point? But it can be the end point. If it's just what would Iron Man say, then you'll be a second-handed. You're being unthinking. But to be a thinker means, what would Iron Man say? Huh? Why would she say that? What is it about in reality that we justify her saying that? Do I understand the concept she's using? These words that she's using? What are they pertain to? What are the concepts? How do I reduce those concepts to reality? What is it in reality? That's the fundamental question. That's what makes it first-hand. Your ability to reduce what Iron Man says
