4:07He's hit five home runs five home runs have been hit off that pitch But they were all in the strike zone The change up that Pete hit Was way way low under the strike zone and it was the same pitch that he like hit for a fly ball in the first inning And for him to come back and be able to Homer off it in the third inning is just crazy stuff It's just like flow state He's reached the flow state of going up to the plate seeing the pitch he likes Making a perfect swing on it and it's like effortless It's incredible to watch and like you said the varying types of pitches that he's just sending out the park is something special It's 1.20 feet off the ground per stat cast okay crazy low That's the lowest pitch that Pete has hit for a home run this year But if you go back to 2024 he's hit five homeers On pitches that low That's the most of anybody in baseball he loves the low pitch He's not afraid to get down there and and golf it out and he was talking about it He's like I handle the ball down

8:17Pete crow arm started his 30s got 39 homers 39 cow shorbers leading the world with 40 and when you look at the body types of the people atop The the home run list Shorber is a big strong man your dawn alvarez is a gigantic strong man Junior Caminero and I love the Caminero. It's a great ride. I get about 30,000 30,000 miles a year out of my Caminero. Yeah, Matt Olson is a big strong man That those are your top five in homers along with Pete crow arm strong. What are these is not like the other that swing is That's what must be special and I would have to argue that he has the most swag out of all them. Oh, I think that's true Like he's the swag king. Yeah, is he the most stop what you're doing at bat in the sport right now? It's joy It's it's like that outlet for people and You know, I feel blessed to be part of that as as my day to day and my in my work And I love when people are like I'm a fan because of this and I mean working for WGN You hear that all the time we all are and it's over to you. Yeah here constantly because I'm a Cubs fan

17:41Yeah, I mean in in Wisconsin in the state of Wisconsin I have family members like that we would get WGN and they're Cubs fans because WGN. Yeah, so there's you hear that on such a like big scale And it's like man, it is cool and sports are just I go on a tangent about how great sports can be in unifying and and The joy I feel like sometimes we we forget about the joy that sports can bring because we get so caught up in the Why isn't the nickel corner playing right? But sometimes that's part of the joy for people Like they enjoy and it's more fun to be angry about that Than their lives then their lives Or then like politics which you can just try to crazy and make you hate the universe I'd rather us argue about sports than I try to think about that when people will text in or call in and be like this freaking thing Or like you're an idiot or whatever.
