We have shown to do today. The whole new acronym thing drives me up in bed. Can we call
them by his name?
Children.
I'm not eating.
But the sports.
The way they played today is a good enough to keep the minute and potentially get them
in the playoffs.
I do believe that they're capable to play this well, defensively moving forward. But
as far as the offense is concerned, yeah, like the way that certain runscoring innings
played out, it's been a lot of small ball. But they're going to have to drive in runs.
Like you're not going to, like in the first game of the series, you know, you had Trevor
Story dump in an RBI base hit to shallow right field in front of Sal Freelick. Like there
are outfield, no disrespect to Sal. I love Sal. But you know, there are outfielders
that make that catch and it changes the course of a game. They need to be hitting, if you're
not going to be hitting Homer's, we need to be hitting doubles. Like a guy like Jaren
Durand. It's like, all right, yeah, he's not like a 25 homer guy, but he can be a 40 double
guy. He can have plenty of extra base hits. You need to get guys like that going. Well,
you're a brave you. He's been your, your standout offensive performer. But there's guys
that are going to have to contribute from a, at least a double standpoint. Like you can't
just be in field, singling and sacrifice, bunting teams to death.
Okay. So then basically your answer is no is what they put on the field so far enough
to get them into the playoffs. And the answer in so many words from him was, what was
it again? No, no, it was no. Do you agree?
Not entirely because I, what I meant was, can they win, you know, manufacturer, can they
get into the playoffs, pitching and manufacturing runs is what I meant. And my answer to that
would be get into the playoffs. Yeah, probably they can get to 85 wins doing that. Now again,
that assumes that you believe there can be consistent enough to execute it. Well, but my
point is if you play that way, can you get in? The answer is yes. Can anything correct?
Yes. Correct. Are they capable of doing that? I doubt it. I don't think so. Yeah, I,
I feel the same way. I don't think so either. So I question their ability. What they did
yesterday again, and they manufactured three runs in one inning, having one hit into the
L field, one hit. It was a single by Raphael at a lead off the inning. So do I think they can do it
that way over and over again? My answer is probably not. Well, because you have to factor in the defense,
too. So if you're talking about manufacturing runs and winning games three to two, two to one,
that means your defense has to hold up. And based on what we've seen so far, do you think that
that's going to happen? No, I don't think so. I mean, I think teams can absolutely pitch and
defend. Yeah. And small ball their way to the post. Sure. Yes. No question about brewers. Do
that? Yeah, teams do it every year. I don't think I don't think it's in your blood to do it.
I think you're pretending to do it. I think it's been the fallback plan for the team because they
didn't want to spend on certain bats. So they defaulted to this, but it's not what they wanted to do.
It's not in their blood. It's not they're not qualified to do it. They're not smart enough.
They're not tough enough. They're not disciplined enough as an organization to do it. So I don't
think they're going to do it. Is it possible that some guys really emerge offensively and they
start slugging and make the postseason? I give that more of a chance. Sure. Then they're the path
yesterday. Seven hits all singles eight walks, uh, uh, sacrifice punts that turns in a hit like
that. No, they don't have the discipline or the ability or the way with all to do that all season
long. I do not believe that. No, I don't think so either. There are singular guys I could point to
and tell you I have no faith in their ability to play fundamentally sound baseball all year long.
And I'll start with pretty much the L fielders. I mean, derand to me is an accident waiting to
happen. Raphael is a terrific instinctive outfielder. But he makes really stupid mistakes.
A brave is gotten better. So he's the best of the lot. I don't want to pick on him too much
because his second half last year defensively was pretty good. And, you know, but he's pretty good.
He's not great at Anthony. We know about the throwing. Then you look at the infield and you say,
okay, well, Trevor's story looks like he doesn't have the arm anymore. He certainly doesn't have
the range. You know, with second base, if it's not my or there, I don't know who it is. And we'll
see what happens. But and Durbin looks okay. I mean, you know, he looks pretty good. But I'm not,
you know, and then you start getting into like guys who can put down bumps and make contact.
It's a whole different list. Okay. So we're going to start off. We're going to start off talking
red socks. You can do whatever you want. You we have more on variable coming up later on this
program. We'll have more on James Hagen's coming up later on this program. A masses tears will
be coming up later on. You can call us again on whatever you want. It's 6177790985. Fan graphs
projects the red socks to win now 83 games, which is tied with the blue jays and the Baltimore
Orioles. And just three games ahead of what they would have the Tampa Bay rays. They have the
red socks playoff odds at 47.7%. If I have that right, which is ahead of all these other teams.
Is that too high? Yes. Based on what I've seen in the first and again, I'm going off the first
12 games based on what I've seen. Yes, it is. It's too high. And look, I'm trying to be consistent
here. I told you at the beginning of the year that if of Durand, a brave you and Anthony, if two
out of those three guys had good years or anybody, I would even call breakout years, they'll be in
pretty good shape. Run out right now. It's only one of the three. So Anthony has not played well.
Durand has been God awful. God awful. Borderline useless. And so, you know, unless someone out of
that, those two guys, Anthony and Durand, one of those guys has to have an all-star caliber season.
If that doesn't change, I think they're poor. I mean, again, fan graphs and all this can go
off itself. You know, I feel about it, but it's a jumping off point. They have the red socks.
Again, who are in last projected to finish second in the division projected with 83 wins,
which is more than frankly, the Orioles jays or rays. They have the red socks at 82.8. Those other
teams at 82.6 82.4. The red socks with a 47% chance to make the playoffs. Orioles at 45.4,
blue jays at 44.9. They still have the red socks ahead of the blue jays. On what planet, man?
No, that's ridiculous. Yeah. Look, I think the blue jays are a superior team by a sizable margin,
just based on the lineup alone. So now, look, you can talk about some guys being a little banged up
in that Toronto rotation. And maybe they're not fully ready to go. But cease, I didn't see
his second outing his first outing. He looked absolutely filthy to go along with Gossman who I like.
So, you know, Toronto to me is going to be there. Now, look, last year, they finally achieved or
played to their ceiling. They've had a high ceiling for a while. But, you know, so could they
eff it up? The answer is yes. But worst case, what are they? 87 wins, 86 wins, something like that.
Toronto's going to be in it. So again, just jumping off point. Are you sold on sunny grays and number
two starter? No, me neither. God, no, why? Because look yesterday's Milwaukee. And also, I think he's
fine pitching at Fenway Park and with a home crowd. And when I say that, I mean, you know, I, he needs
all the support behind him. He can get and familiarity and pitching at home and those things are good
for him and the ballpark, the dimensions of the ballpark will help him out. Fine. No problem. He's
familiar with the brewers. He's pitching against them more than any team in his career. I think it's
21 outings if I read that right. So National League Central team, I think that's who he is.
So the other game he pitched while with San Diego, the opener or the homestay in San Diego,
wasn't swinging the bats while when they came in. It was better by the end of the series.
The other game was Cincinnati. And you know, that one was probably a little better than it looked
on paper, but the array was almost seven. So look, I know what sunny gray is at this stage of his
career. He'll, he's a, he's a solid middle of the rotation guy. He'll be able to, you know,
give him 30 starts and he'll be able to give him 12 wins. But if you put him in a big spot against
a good team, crap city. I don't trust him because I don't trust them. And I just keep going back to
why he's here. He's here because the Cardinals took his salary. If the Cardinals didn't take his
salary, he wouldn't be here. Why am I supposed to trust a move when that's the weight reason it was
made. And I do go back. I know that's not sort of like a bare bones baseball analysis, but it's
just sort of how I feel about the thing. He's just here because they took on part of his salary.
I don't trust them. I don't have faith in them. It's a them thing as much of as it is a them,
a him thing. And that wasn't a pleaded line up he won against yesterday. It's the brewers on their
best day. And on that day, they were missing three of their best lineup pieces. But Krabs,
Krabs did give me this. Listening to his stint with you about the overall direction of the
team and why he's not confident. Number three, Jimmy Stewart, if you could, from Krabs last night.
But Jared, are you confident in the overall direction of the franchise?
Wow, deep question. Corporate Krabs. I've heard I've heard all I need to hear.
That's how I was the answer.
Nesson Boy, what what he's doing there is how do I put this?
Right? Yeah. Because if the if the answer is yes, it's yes. If it's no, it's okay.
Let me think I'm going to shape this. Yep. Go ahead, Jimmy. Give it to me again.
But Jared, are you confident in the overall direction of the franchise?
Who?
Wow. Good question. No, no. Good job. No, I'm not. No, like you can point to the Roman
Anthony extension. You can point to the Alex Bregman signing that ended up being one year. You
know, you gave him $40 million, but it was one year at the end of the day and caused a lot of stress
amongst the organization and say, yeah, I don't know that there's that world series championship
commitment right now from ownership. Good job, Jared. Yeah, no, it's point plank. I mean,
that's how everybody feels. So until you're ready to lay it out, they were a little bit and go
get yourself some high end talent that requires risk, risk. That's what high end talent requires,
risk. You have to have the balls to make a move that could come back to hurt you. Until you do that,
you're probably not going to win. So I think, look, I think they can turn around to a point.
I don't think there are last place team. Like I suck, suck, last place team could the division
be good and they finish and last like I can see it. I don't see I just keep saying it over and over
again. I don't see the ceiling mass. I don't and I don't have faith in them. I don't have faith
in their decision making. Now, I think things can change. I think that sometimes Henry can act
impulsively. If he hears enough chanting at the stadium or booing at the stadium, could he haul
off and you pull a big move in the middle of the year and you get a bat or could just things
that we don't really see guys really emerge and you turn to a little bit of a different team.
But for them to win the way they say they want to win pitching and defense and really
manufacturing runs, you got to really commit to that at a grass roots bare bones level and you
have to be smart. And I don't think they're either of those things. I mean, I know that Jared also
said as part of his conversation with you, there's still going to strike out and his core said to
you when you went down there and asked him, you're not going to go from a 28% strike out rate to an
18% strike out rate. It doesn't work that way. So I can see a team that strikes out a lot and
hits a lot of home runs. A team that strikes out a lot. And again, just use the brewers example.
They, you know, lowest strike out rate in the league. They don't hit a lot of home runs. But so
that's consistent, right? How do you have a high strike out rate and not hit home runs
and but expect to manufacture runs? Thank you. Yeah, you're delusional. Thank you, Jared.
Exactly. No, because you're delusional. That's why. And so, you know, I don't think, look,
Mike, even with all due respect to your brewers and they're fun to watch play. They're still
going to win anything. No, exactly. Exactly. I just think at the end of the day when it comes time
to win a championship, you need some high end guys. You need those guys to be able to perform
against the best competition. And so you can call that whatever you want. Start bleeping,
you know, expensive risk. The red stock, you know, you're, it's almost set it again.
Bloom. It's saying, okay, you're here, Brazil. Say all the time. You know, we have to be
willing to get uncomfortable. Does it feel like ownership is willing to get uncomfortable?
Wow. Wow. What a deep question. Thank you, Jared. So my answer is they don't,
they don't want to get uncomfortable with it anymore. And if they don't want to get uncomfortable,
they don't want to win. Fones are open for whatever you like. 617-779-0985. Right back after this.

Builder and mask continue on the sports hub. I don't, I don't know. The John Henry is going to be
like, yeah, go out and get a slugger for the middle of the order because quite frankly,
they need that. Like if we're talking World Series in 2026, they need that. I think sadly,
the goal for this team is get back to the postseason and see what happens. It's a very low bar
in terms of expectations. But I mean, you know, you look at the sunny and gray trade, for example,
right? Like he's not cheap and he's basically here for one year. So what is the point of
bringing in these high caliber players? I don't want to call them stars, but high caliber players
that are not cheap, but not go all the way, right? So I guess we can talk about how they're going to
scratch runs across the board with the guys that they have. And I don't know, I don't know that
there's a lineup right now based on the roster that you have where when you put it out there,
you're like, yep, like this is our game, one of the playoffs lineup. Like they don't,
they don't have that combination of guys. Like they're still missing that middle of the order
back if they want to be taken seriously as an actual contender.
I don't know how anybody can be happy with the way the beginning of this year went. This
thing's been a freaking clown show for the most part. It's really how the team was constructed.
Yeah, it was, it was an afterthought, because they didn't want to commit to the contract,
contracts it would take to build it, quote unquote, the right way or the way they should.
So they fall back on something else that's not really in their DNA and they're not really
equipped to do. And so the way it was constructed and the way it's managed from the top down is
sort of it is what it is. So, you know, it's hard to get too excited about the team even if we
all think they can turn it around. It's turn around to what extent as promised right to your calls.
Here's Mike in the car. Go ahead, Mike. What do you got?
Afternoon guys. Great topic here. And now I'm hoping you can answer this for me because I'm
super confused. We talk about how their manufacturing runs while the philosophy of the team seems
to be launch angle. We don't care if you strike out a ton. So how do you manufacture runs if you
don't put the bat on the ball and try to hit everything out of the ballpark? I just, you know,
just shows what a clown show this organization is. Thanks guys. Yeah, you bring it from the outside.
Yep, that's right. You know, you, uh, you, this is why you have Caleb Durbin and Isaiah kind of
fluff up. Yep. Go ahead. No, that's exactly right. You know, they want to see, and this is why when
they speak, the whole run prevention thing is complete bull crap because they know it's not
enough to win a championship in their heart, but they're now trying to sell it to you. And this
is what this is what they do when they fail. Instead of just saying, look, we obviously still have
a hole in the middle of the lineup. We think we can hang in there, but we're going to try to fill it.
acknowledge the problem. They feed your bull crap. They'd rather, you know, a poop in a cone and
tell you it's ice cream. Matt in Atlanta, go ahead, Matt. Hey, uh, just a few thoughts real quick.
One, why doesn't you sheet a play every day? I mean, the guy at least doesn't strike out. He puts
the ball in play. Can't you bring Raphaela back into the infield and put your sheet out there?
And also, I just want to say the middle relief when you're running out, uh, Kelly and Watson and
whoever, that seems a real problem. Oh, you're like, Greg, why sir? How about the guy who pitched yesterday
the thing that I never heard of before? Sam and Yego, did you, did you guys see him? There's been a
bunch of guys I've been introduced to this week. Oh, holy crap. I had to go look him up, but listen,
that's most teams and that's, I mean, well, I mean, again, I guess if you're going to pitch and
play defense, you should have a better bullpen, but it's really, I mean, I'm just sort of focused
on the starting pitch. Yeah, of course. And the fact there's still second in the league in
errors. And so pitching and defense, three fists of your rotation has sucked and you have the
second most errors in the league. I'm sort of stuck on that one. Bad formula, you know, as Alex
beer wrote today in the Boston Globe, great pitching can help a modest offense, so, quote, unquote,
opportunistic rather than deficient, right? That's like that. If you pitch well, then your offense is
gritty and it can opportunistic and if you're pitching sucks and you just have a sucky offense,
then that's the defining line. No, it is. Right. That's it. Look, you know, they used to say over
there that the one run games were luck. But now you've built a team to win one run games that can
only win one run games. So that must mean you suck. Says great pitching can help a modest offense,
like opportunistic rather than deficient. And that's been the case for the socks this far. The team
has received four quality starts to a piece from crochet and gray. They're four and O in those
games. In the other eight games, they're O and eight average four and a third innings per start
with a six seven five ERA. Conclusion is that they have to pitch in three fists of their rotation
has not been good enough. They're all in six when it's not one of those guys on the mount.
Oprah. Oprah six. During the teams, two and eight meltdown, the rotation fell far
short of living up to that responsibility. Again, but the back-to-back outings by crochet and gray
offered the first glimpse of what it can look like for the socks when their pitchers stack stifling
starts. Team hopes that currently early, Ranger Suarez and Brian Beo can follow suit. What's your
confidence level that they can? Low. Why? Because I just don't think they're consistent enough. And look,
Suarez, we don't know because I it's not like I've been watching every outing and I say, you know,
his numbers suggest he has been consistent. His first two starts here have been dreadful. Beo is
to me what he's always been. It's a little bit trick-or-treat at treaty. You know, you don't know
really what you're going to get. When he's going well, it can be pretty good. But when he's going
poorly, you get what you got the other night, which is a lot of balls all over the place. Who
might leave it out early? I like, but he's young. And what we've seen from early is consistent with
what you see with a young pitcher, even if he has ability. And that is it takes some 90 pitches to
get through five innings. Six, one, seven, seven, seven, seven, nine, zero, nine, eight, five. Like I
say, you can call someone whatever you want, Daniel, in Newton as a grueling stock. Go ahead, Daniel.
Yeah, hey guys, I want to hear what you think about posh and I'm potentially having a wrist
injury. He's not shooting the pucking up, including on that drop pass the overtime against the flyer.
He's hurt. Also, I want to talk about heggens. I watched a lot of DC games this year. You guys
got to get on them for not calling them up soon enough. They went on the road. They was going to go
against Tampa, going to get the flyer. The offense wasn't clicking last night. But you guys just
are calling about for not pulling them up more. We thought it was going to be a first blind
stage. We had 35 wingers. Why should I call him up for something I don't believe in?
I'll give you more on James Higgins coming up. I'm not one of those who think that he needed to
be called up before now. And I'm far from bent out of shape that he's going to start on the third
line versus the first line. So you're asking the wrong guy for that commentary. I don't believe
those things. What's the first thing they said? Oh, is posh and I hurt? I don't know. How did he do
this one? I mean, right? Exactly. The last time he heard his rest, he was doing stupid human
tricks on the sidewalk after a client event or something. I think it was leapfrog and parking
meters is the way I heard it. That's what it was. Yep. Which is always a great way to get prepared
for the playoffs. But David Parsonock is untouchable among the media, Nesson, apparently, and most
fans. So he can tick around at a night out, hurt his wrist and be less than in the playoffs. He
can turn the puck over and over and over and over. And if you call it out, you don't know hockey
or some sort of idiot, that's me. Otherwise, you just have to accept it apparently. Is he hurt?
I don't know. When he's hurt, when he's healthy, he, I think he's the same way with the puck.
That's all. And I had the his, he, the call is right about his shot attempts. I hate the way he
shoots the puck half the time. He's got a absolute howitzer. He's got one of the best shots in the
league. And half the time, I think he's throwing an off-speed pitch up there. He throws the off-speed
pitch half the time. Yeah. And like, well, I put your head down, scratch your back with your stick
and blast it. You're that guy. Why are we, why are we throwing the off-speed pitch trying to go
five whole half the time? But again, that's David Parsonock. That's just me. I'm supposed to just
let it go because we put points up on the board on the red socks. If they're supposed to be defensive
and pitching and its run prevention, do they even have their best defensive lineup out there?
A Jared Krabis had a thought on that. We'll touch on that. More your calls after Big
Jamerie gets you up, David. Who's watching your network when the threats come fast?
Who detects, responds and shuts attacks down day and night?
Who powers advanced protection with Barracuda XDR before damage is done?
And trust us.
Serving New England for 30 years, access, security, trust, introsystems.com.
Hey, goalie five. Hey, look at the goalie five. Oh my god. Murray sucks in the play.
That's great. No, 98 five. Wonderful. Good to sports hub.
I've kind of been advocating for a flip flop of story in Meyer. I think
there's a real chance that story at this point between the range and the arm that he's
the third best qualified shortstop on the team. Like you could even put IKF in the conversation
for, I don't want them there every day. But if I needed a defensive replacement at shortstop,
I would consider IKF at the position and feel okay with it in a pinch. But yeah, the way that
Marcel Meyer has played defense at third base and second base, I know he's capable of
playing the position. And I know that some people have looked at Trevor story saying,
you know, last year, for example, in May, DFA, the guy, I think he's going to come around from
an offensive standpoint from June 1st on. He was well above a league average bat. So that's
going to, that's going to be valuable to this team. But from a defensive perspective, I think he
would benefit greatly from going back to second base where he was excellent in 2022 and let Marcel
Meyer do his thing at shortstop. I mean, it's clear that he's the best defensive option there.
And if the whole antithesis of the 2026 team is run prevention, then you have to put your best
defensive alignment out there. And right now, I don't think that they are. Final cut from
Karabis there. Ah, if we're going to win deep with defensively mass, what's their best defensive
lineup? And is Meyer at short their best offensive lineup? Yes, you think so. Yeah,
my think Meyer is the best shorts up on the team. Story is started to slip at the end of last year.
And earlier in the year, I thought, boy, it looks like his arm is improved. Now I think it's gotten
worse. And, you know, his range suffered last year. I think technically he was a below average
defender last year. So like, you know, when you, when you look at some of these metrics,
and I'm not telling you they're wrong, I'm just telling you what they grade out. Trevor story
graded out as a below average shortstop. The whole package last year. He had 25 home runs,
96 RBI, you know, an OPS of 740 something. But when you added all up below average. So to me,
now Jared thinks, I don't know how much of that you listen to. Jared thinks that story willingly
would move to second base later in the year. I don't think so. No, me neither. I did miss that
part. No, me neither. Like that is one where I say, I'll believe that one when I see it.
Because when he came here, do you remember he signed and he said, I'll play the second base
for this year? Because boogarts was there. Right. And he was basically saying when boogarts
has gone, that's my spot. And that's what they did. What's their best defensive line up,
miss? If they're going pure defense. So I like Durban at 3rd. You know, but take your pick.
You know, you have to put someone in seconds. So it's not, oh, give it to me. Come on. My
I had a short stop.
Okay.
Durban at third.
Yep.
Faleffa at second.
Contreras at first.
Narvaia's behind the plate.
A Raphael in center of Braille and right.
And then in left field, I would go with Durand.
So I think Durand covers more ground than Anthony.
So I would go that way.
But honestly, I don't love either one of them.
I don't think they suck, but they're average.
I think Durand is like the most overrated outfielder in baseball.
Defensively.
Yes.
And people here talk about him like he's a gold glove candidate.
But every time you watch him, he's either, you know, he looks shaky or he's dropping a ball.
And I know that it's all about whether or not ultimately you make the play.
I'm just telling you, I don't have confidence in his ability to, you know, to make a routine play
when everything's on the line.
So, you know, to me, there's still suspect in a lot of areas.
Defensively story.
I mean, you're not going to play kind of Faleffa every day over story.
No, no, no, story at second, Meyer at short, Durbin at that.
That's a decent, that's a decent infield defensively.
Yeah.
They'll never do story dirty like that though.
But right.
But it's not, it's not, it's not.
I wouldn't say that's my defense if I am hanging my hat on winning on defense.
I'm saying it's good.
You know what I mean?
So there's still not built the way they're, and certainly the outfield has holes.
They're not built the way they should be built to win the way they say they want to win.
Right.
Because they didn't want to build it that way.
They wanted to build it with offense and they have to up 617779095.
Matt in New Bedford back to the B's.
Go ahead, Matt.
All right.
So, I understand that nobody really gives a crap about my hockey takes.
What do you think it did not look ready to me when I went and saw him in Providence?
Okay.
I mean, it's obvious, but he was getting rubbed off the puck way too easily.
Yeah, you can see he has skill, but other than if he didn't have time and space,
he wasn't really the best guy out there.
Matt Potter was shining way more in that game than Hagen's.
And I think Potter is kind of a bust.
So Matt, Matt, you actually went and watched it and you watched him off the puck.
You watched him for a full game, right?
Mike, I swear to God, if I did not know that Hagen's was playing as number 12,
I would not have noticed him out there.
I was looking.
I'm like, okay, what's number of Hagen's always 12?
All right.
Any time I saw 12 out there, I focused in on him.
He was not like, I did not say, oh my God, wow, this guy needs to be called up immediately.
No, he needs to stay down there and he needs to develop.
This is it's not a good move.
So good for you, Matt.
Unlike 90% of the people who are geeked up for James Hagen's, you've actually watched him.
Watched him in person, watched him away from the puck, watched him shift to shift, watched him up and down the ice.
90% of you who are geeked up for James Hagen's or pissed at me, haven't done that.
So we're all in the same boat.
I've watched zero of James Hagen's.
You may have watched a shift or two, but none of you have really watched him watching him.
But let me tell you, Matt or any of you and watched him for full games or none like me or anywhere in between.
You don't need to have done any of that to know he's not ready.
Do you know how you should know he's not ready?
Because the Bruins put him in providence.
They're bringing him up with three games to go and the playoffs pretty much clinched.
They're just throwing him in here at the very end in kind of a weird spot.
So that's how you know he's not ready.
He didn't start the year here.
He didn't come up at this first chance.
He didn't come up ever just a cup of coffee like Charlie McAvoy did.
McAvoy went to Providence, played two games.
I think it was two.
Boom. Straight up.
It was obvious.
He was ready.
That's the way that that goes.
Hagen's was there for what?
Six games.
Six.
Two weeks.
Three.
If he was ready, he'd be here.
He would have been here already.
So that's how you know.
Well, the McAvoy thing, there were also injuries.
They were big, a buried with injuries.
So it might have been longer than two games, but he was ready.
He proved he was ready.
I kind of discount that mask because there are places for this kid to play up and down this roster.
Oh, you mean Hagen's?
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So I mean back then there were injuries they had to call it McAvoy.
I you know, I guess there's no injuries in the forward group now, but there's a lot of suck.
Oh, yeah, for sure.
And there's a great deal.
There's a great deal of suck on that power play.
So if he were ready and he had to come up, he would have been up.
They're just doing it because they probably promised it to him as you were discussing.
And they're probably given into the agent or whatever.
And so let's just now these games are a little lower leverage.
We'll give him his service time because we promised we'd do it.
And here he is.
And that's just that's just how it looks without having watched him play.
How they've brought him up.
If he was ready, he would have been here by now.
That's pretty much the point.
That's all you need to know.
But once again, we're dancing around the lead of the day.
The day is Thursday.
That means it's time for Maz's tears and honor of our buddy Mike Raible and Diana Rossini.
We've got some tears in honor of those two.
And always encouraging your participation as well, which I know I don't even need to mention.
But all that comes away in a long commercial free segment next.
Sean and Lawrence, go Sean.
He keeps saying like, oh, I didn't actually watch the game.
Whether it's Patriots, Celtics, Bruins, whatever.
Like, isn't your job to talk to those folks to actually watch sports?
So I would say my job is to get you to listen.
That is the job mission accomplished.
Take this job and jump.
Felt your in the ass.
I need five.
The sports hub.
Bernardi Otto.
They've got Audi's on this.
And Toyota's.
They are the ones who sponsor.
Who mass thinks is a Friday and who's all real?
Maz's tears.
That is who the tears of a clown.
Maz's tears.
The second tear.
Hold on, let me get my pen.
Maz's tears.
Dallas.
Buffalo.
Tennessee.
Maz's tears.
Tears.
Tears.
Tears.
Tears.
Tears.
Tears.
Tears.
Tears.

And tea.

Maz, what do we have this week?
Okay, because of the news with Mike Vrable and Diana Rossini.
We decided to go with Murray, with Murray term yesterday.
Doing, doing, doing, doing, doing, doing, doing, doing, doing, doing, doing.
Okay, now let me just say this up front.
I had Vrable and Rossini on the list.
And then I took it off because I want, I'm introducing a new element to the game.
I want you to guess which tear they were on later.
Okay.
Okay.
So I had them on eight tear and I took them out.
You can guess which tear I put them on.
But so that's a good.
And these are Maz.
These aren't relationships.
Correct.
These are scandalous hookups.
These are.
Yeah, ultimately really kind of infidelity is the case in most of them.
But scandalous, you know, pairings or however you want to call it.
Dylan Duos.
Yeah, trists.
That's Murray.
This isn't no more in me.
Correct.
But in some cases, now this is where it gets a little tricky.
Because in most cases or many, the second person is not a celebrity.
So and in some cases, we don't even know the name.
We just know that there was an admission.
Yeah.
No, so the Vrable Rossini case is unique in many ways because she in some ways is a celebrity.
You know, certainly not to his extent, but you get the idea.
So I'm going to tell you about, I'm just telling you that in some cases here,
we don't know the name of the second person or we have only a first name.
Let's do it.
Whoever the third, I'm going to work from the bottom of Paul George and Cali Rivers.
If you remember Doc Rivers' daughter.
God.
I don't remember this at all.
All George was with Doc Rivers' daughter and was, you know, unfaithful to her.
And then, you know, there was a whole thing about that one.
Lamar Odom and several people.
He was with Chloe Kardashian, I believe it was.
And then they broke up because of a highly publicized infidelity.
fidelity. Chipper Jones and a woman who gets a hold on what we're going to go Lamar
Odom and field. Yes, field.
They're just quickly. So Netflix just dropped a documentary about Lamar Odom, mostly
Chloe Kardashian, but Lamar Odom and his fall from grace. If you want to watch a documentary
and get real pissed off, watch that one.
Why would I be pissed off?
He has learned no lessons. There is no remorse. And not I don't want to ruin it. But at the
end, when Chloe catches him smoking crack again after he had like five strokes in three
heart attacks in a whorehouse, he blames the guy who sold him the crack. He takes no
responsibility. I watch with my wife for two straight days. She just kept saying, I hate
that we watch this. I hate him. I hate him. I saw the promo for that. Yeah. I have to
tell you, you, I, you have to make me care about Lamar Odom. I don't care. I don't know
what you have that. I don't care about Lamar Odom. Oh, he was a big deal. Him and Chloe
had their own show, not in my house. No, listen. I don't mean either, but it was, but
they were an item. They were a big item. Okay. Anyway. Okay. Chipper Jones and a woman named
Jennifer and then Jones had multiple breakups in relationships because of his infidelity.
We try to be equal opportunity here on the Mazda's tier segment. Martina Hinges, the tennis
player who cheated on her husband in a pretty highly publicized, you know, reverse situation
where the, when was this? Oh, yeah. Martina Hinges. Oh, yeah. This happened. Martina was
married to a man and hooked up with a woman. Is this what you're trying to know? Martina
was hooked up with a man and cheated on him. The point is it's not always the guy. Oh,
I see. I see. I see. Okay. So like you said, reverse situ, I don't know what you need
to talk to me. Like, I just got off the spaceship because I don't know. I hold him play for
the clippers, right? Like, I, I bear the lakers. Like, I, I know it's a reality thing.
I barely know anything about the reality stuff. Martina Hinges, uh, straight or great.
Like, I don't know. You got to explain everything to me. Okay. Well, you've got no problem.
Yeah. I just meant that the woman was cheated on her. Yeah. That's what you want to call
it. Got it. The one who was unfaithful. Uh, tier two. This is where we get into the
Boston participants on this list. Bill Balachek and Jordan Hudson. That's tier two.
It is because it is, is a, uh, it's scandalous in nature because of the age difference.
And, uh, the way that she has acted, it's become a very public thing in a national story.
Tier two, tier two. I'd put that Winthrop ring camera video just for that alone. It's tier one.
Like the top of Mount Rushmore, but go ahead, Massey. It's tier one's a special tier.
But in any case, uh, Bill Balachek and Jordan Hudson, John Farrell,
yeah, Red Sox manager and Jess Moran, formerly, uh, Boston media person.
Yeah. Uh, that is, uh, tier two. And he made a token employee for the Celtics.
Uh, that is also tier two. So Balachek, Farrell and Utdoka, all on the same tier.
I just, I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I'll do respect to the
salaciousness of John Farrell and Jess Moran. That is a child's play compared to Bella check
and Jordan Hudson. Okay. I'm just telling you, you know, it's, uh,
we, these are your tears. Yeah, that's right. But you can, you can, uh,
offer up your explanations shortly.
Tier one. Now I would tell you that tier one is what I would call reserved for
celebrity infidelity and or megastars. Okay. Okay. Megastars.
Tiger Woods and fill in the blank. Rachel Lukatelfield, uh, Savannah, uh, what was her name?
Savannah Samson, Holly Samson, pick your point star, picture, pick your Vegas,
explore Tiger Woods field. Okay. Tiger Woods in the field. That might be number one on the list.
Wade Boggs and Margot Adams going back to the eighties now. But that was a big one as it pertained
to, uh, shedding a light on athlete infidelity. Uh, because obviously she traveled around
them. That became a national story. Even a Barbara Walters,
Kobe Bryant and, um, a woman known as Jessica. Now this is not, let me clarify something here.
This has nothing to do with the legal charges that were brought against Kobe Bryant,
at least for this list. Yeah. This is about, and Kobe Bryant conducted a press conference with
his wife, Vanessa, uh, and admitted infidelity. And then later on, there were reports that he had
dozens of extra marital affairs that damaged, you know, his relationship with his wife. Kobe
in the field. Or I wouldn't say Kobe in the field field. Jessica was just one of the names that showed
up. Got it. Uh, Tony Parker. You remember this one, Marie? Tony Parker was with even Longoria.
Yeah. And had multiple extra marital affairs. They were like a super couple for a period of time.
And, uh, Tony Parker kind of became sort of, uh, scowl throughout this whole thing. Do you remember
this? I just remember he was with the even Longoria. That's all. I don't remember the
they need stuff and field. Got it. Yep. And, um, Tom Brady and Giselle Buncham.
Now, well, so let me explain, let me explain, but at the origin of their relationship
by according to internet accounts that I was reading today. And I know that's a high bar.
Uh, he was still with Bridget Moynihan when he started fooling around with Giselle. Okay, but
yeah, no, no, no, no. And listen, I think, um, John Farrell and Jess Moran ended up together.
Yeah. Yeah. I think they still might beat it. Yeah. I think they're both fishermen.
It's still counts. Of course it counts. Okay. Brady and Giselle don't really count.
And that's it. Well, I stopped there because I wanted to leave the door open for, for our, um,
highly interested public to offer up there to some. Okay. Where would we put
variable and Diana Rossini? Did you have, I didn't we discussed yesterday, Madonna and the field?
Yes. Uh, I, I didn't put those on the list because I wanted people to, I wanted to leave some
for people. Okay. Well, we've left you some openings. We have some openings that you might
be able to fit. That would be a ride kid, right? In that case, it's Madonna in the field, right?
Madonna in the field. Yeah, exactly. 617779095. I also just, you know, I thought, you know,
if we took it out of the world of sports, you know, what would be some tier one, you know,
like Bill Clinton, Monica, went, oh, big one. Yeah. That one. I saw that one yesterday when I was
doing my research. So, uh, you know, if you just go, if it's Lamar, Odom and whatever, like, I,
more people know him as a reality star than a basketball player, right? If you just open,
if you took it out of the world of sports, uh, me parents helped me on that list somewhere.
Paris Hilton in the field, but was she ever married? No, I guess not. Is now, but not early on.
Hey, so I mean, you can see, you can sort of chew on that too. Uh, if you want, we'll get right
back to you after Murray's 90 second update. No commercials here.
Felger & Massarotti
