The Toronto Blue Jays get an electric start from Kevin Gausman as they take down the Texas Rangers in the first game of the series 2-1. Gausman looked like his regular self once again, as he was able to shove for 8 innings, setting off Jeff Hoffman to come in and get the save in this win. While the pitching was great, this teams had a lot of the same problems we have seen all season: getting the timely hit.
