The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu says Israel will continue its attacks on Iran and Hezbollah-related targets in Lebanon.
The Israeli military has reported what it's called "widescale strikes" on Tehran, claiming to have struck the main security headquarters of Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps.
It comes as Iran and the US give contradictory statements on prospective talks between each other.
The federal government has announced its lowering diesel standards for six months to help suppliers bring more fuel into the domestic market.
Energy Minister Chris Bowen says it has lowered what's known as the "flashpoint" for diesel, from 61.5 degrees to 60.5 degrees Celsius.
The government says the move will increase diesel supply options from refiners and international sources.
Meanwhile Australia Post is more than doubling fuel surcharges for 30,000 of its business customers, but says prices for everyday Australians sending parcels or letters won't change.
