[♪ OUTRO MUSIC PLAYING [♪ You're listening to Israel Today ongoing war report. I'm Noah Levi. Tensions remain high in the region, with Iran issuing a strong warning about future responses to attacks. Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohamed Bakker Galibaf stated that the era of proportional responses is over. Corsening that any future attack on Iranian interests would be met with a faster, heavier, and more painful response. He described Iran's recent strikes on US bases as only the beginning. Adding to these heightened geopolitical concerns, Iran also announced it will declare a prohibited zone in the coming days near the vital strait of hormones. According to the Times of Israel, traffic in the strait has already dipped to its lowest point since May, amidst reported US-Iran clashes. The US Energy Secretary has also commented, suggesting that while a nuclear deal may not materialize, Iran's ability to build a bomb could potentially be destroyed.

Meanwhile, the IDF confirmed strikes launched this morning in response to a Hezbollah drone attack. The military stated these strikes targeted Hezbollah terrorists, weapons depots, infrastructure, and buildings used to advance attacks. One significant target was a command center, identified within the compound of the former Gander hospital in Nabiti, Al-Forka, where Hezbollah terrorists involved in artillery and surveillance activity had recently been operating, according to the IDF. In the West Bank, IDF Chief of Staff Lieutenant General Isle Zamia has characterized the current period as tents and volatile across all sectors, particularly with Jewish holidays approaching. He stressed the military's need to maintain a posture of readiness for surprise attacks. This warning comes as the IDF conducted a snap exercise to test its response to multi-front scenarios. In line with this heightened alert, Israeli forces conducted a raid in the Acraba area of Zamia arresting 10 Hamas terrorists. During the operation, troops also seized a rocket,

an M-16 rifle, explosives, and other weapons. Separately in the West Bank village of Kusra, Israel police announced the arrest of two Israeli teenagers suspected of involvement in recent violent attacks. Police reported finding suspicious items, including an airsoft rifle, a knife and tear gas in one suspect's vehicle. Police stated their aim is to bring all individuals involved in the Kusra attacks to justice. Turning to the ongoing efforts in Gaza, US envi-jard Kushner described the scale of the territory's militarization as beyond your comprehension. Telling reporters in Kiev that demilitarizing Gaza is not going to be easy. He also revealed that the US had worked with Hamas for over four months on an agreement committing to demilitarization, noting that sending a government into a place with active weapons presents significant challenges. On the domestic political front, significant shifts are occurring ahead of the upcoming election. Former ministers Jill Ad-Erdon and IELIT shaped announced they will not be running,

citing the difficulty in forming a broad unity government. Eardon's unity party is withdrawing from the race, as he believes the public is primarily focused on leadership, rather than coalition building. Adding to the complex political landscape, a new KAN news poll projects that the joint party of Yoz Hendel and Professor Yaren Zellekker could enter the knesset with four seats. According to the poll, this projection would leave neither the Netanyahu block nor the Eisenkot block with enough seats to form a government independently. Potentially forcing broad coalition negotiations. I'm Noah Levi, thank you for listening to Israel Today ongoing war report. Stay safe and informed.
