The United Arab Emirates has stated it will not allow its energy exports to be held hostage, and will not accept unilateral control of the strait of hormones, with UAE presidential diplomatic adviser Anwar Ghargash warning that rebuilding trust with Iran may take decades. Meanwhile, Iran's foreign ministry spokesperson warned that South Korea's military presence in the strait would be viewed as backing US, aggression, and could lead to severe repercussions. Iran itself announced it will soon reveal a new restricted zone in the Gulf, and a shipping corridor through the strait of hormones. Mosin Rizee, Secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, said maps for a new international corridor in Iranian and Omani waters, are expected soon. Saving that the strait of hormones will remain open only if the US ceases its sabotage,

threats and attacks on Iran. These developments come as a weakened exchange of strikes on shipping has sent oil prices higher, with Brent crude surpassing $97 a barrel. In southern Lebanon, Israeli strikes early Monday killed at least 11 people, including two children and two medics, according to Lebanon's state news agency as reported by AL Monitor. The strikes which hit a residential building in Kfar-Roman and a civilian vehicle also reportedly killed two infants according to other Lebanese media reports. The Israeli military stated these strikes were in response to Hezbollah drone launches earlier in the day, targeting weapon storage facilities and infrastructure. Shifting to the West Bank, a stabbing attack near user in left one person seriously wounded. In DA Paramedics and IDF medical forces treated the 20-year-old victim, who was evacuated in moderate to severe condition. Reports indicate the Palestinian attacker approached the victim by car, asked if they were armed, then stabbed them multiple times before fleeing.

The IDF and Israel police have launched a manhunt for the suspect. Domestically, a 19-year-old resident of northern Israel has been charged with membership in a terrorist organization. The fourth such indictment from the region in under two weeks over alleged ties to the Islamic State. Investigators alleged the individual expressed support for ISIS and pledged allegiance. These cases also involve alleged plots to attack security forces. Additionally, a complaint has been filed with the Bar Association against lawyer Michael Pomerance. She is accused of aiding a lawsuit in England against an Israeli British reservist, reportedly for his IDF service alone, without alleging war crimes.
