About this episode
Life is "Ladies of London" and "The Pitt" if you aren't watching either I need you to start immediately! In fact our first caller was from a video producer working with the cast of "The Pitt", and I am hoping my question gets passed along to them. We then talk to someone trying to broach teeth whitening with her boyfriend and someone dealing with a very fresh breakup.

What's up guys, welcome back to It's Wheatings Live exclusively on Radio Andy channel 102. As always, this is our weekly time to talk to each other with a live ask many things. I want to talk to all of you right now, so call me. It's 844305 Andy, that's 8443052639. Good morning, happy Monday from a very rainy New York. And I have accidentally become the people's weather girl. And if you don't follow me on Instagram, first of all, what are you doing at TINX, but I started doing this bit. Because let me tell you why, let me back up. Every day I wake up and I grab one of my cats and we go to the window and we see what people are wearing. Because I feel like, you know, the weather, seeing the number is never really done it for me. You know, oh, 53. I don't really know what that means, okay? I like to see what people are wearing. If they have umbrellas, what kind of shoes they're wearing, that is more indicative to me of what kind of day I'm going to have weather rise in New York. And so I've started doing realistic weather halls, not a weather hall, but you know what
I mean? Realistic weather reviews of what's going on. So that's the first part. Second of all, I just went on Andy's show to do probably the most important work I've ever done in my life, which is to try and convince him to get his cute kids a little cute kitten. And I honestly think we made some headway. And I think he's going to try and find a solution. I understand that him and his nanny are allergic, but I just, I feel this is going to happen. And we are going to have the Andy Cohen be a cat person. And it's going to be amazing. And I'm so excited. I'm so excited. So much has happened to me since we've last spoken guys in that I started watching Ladies of London. And it is my favorite show, the reboot, the reboot, the new rain. It is the best show on Bravo right now. And I say that with my whole fucking chest, the ladies of London are so fantastically cast. It is the most incredible reality TV show. And for those of you who also were obsessed with the first ladies of London, you will love this. The drama is incredible.
And Steve and Lauren and I don't really think we're ever going to get Jesse to watch it. So well, you know, I want home my breath. They're going to watch it. And we're going to discuss on Wednesday because it is I actually had the best day of my life yesterday because I was watching Ladies of London. And I loved it so much I was I was stopping it. And I was going to do a task doing laundry, putting something away in my apartment and then coming back because I wanted it to last longer. That never happens. Okay. I put my phone face down when I was watching it out of respect for the ladies. So it is just it's amazing. And it pulls you right in. And they're all really unique. They all have incredible sense of style. Someone wrote to me last night and it was a great point. She said they're all very stylish, but they're not wearing head-to-toe mumeau. Sorry to read, but I mean, you know, a lot of the housewives, they walk into a designer store and they they say, oh, the mannequin, I'll take that look. And that's not stylish to me. That's just saying, oh, I decided to spend $5,000 on a mumeau outfit fine. But it's not stylish. All these ladies have unique style. They all kind of look different.
I again, I'm making a blanket generalization, but a lot of the a lot, you know, there's a look. And injected look to some of the people. And I'm not just talking about housewives. I'm talking about reality TV in general in the US. And it's just so good, you guys. And all of these women are so unique. They have really unique stories. They have unique senses of style. They have their faces look real. They I just I'm obsessed. And everybody homework for Wednesday, please watch it because it was incredible. Everyone saw you remind me how lucky I am to work for you. Because like I walked, if I could pay you a compliment, I walked in the door to the studio. I said, good morning, tanks. I just said, did you watch ladies of London? And like, that's the kind of thing my boss yells at me about. Is like, you got to get everybody watch ladies of London now. Well, we forgot to edit the podcast. And it didn't go up. I could care less. I could care less. But I do care if you watch ladies of London. I love that. Other than that, I will say I relearn to lessen this weekend that I have learned many times in my life before, which is that I would rather be tired and hungover.
Because I had a big week with pig, you know, we went out on Wednesday. We decided randomly went out on Thursday and then I thought to myself, oh, tanks, you've got to cool it. Oh, tanks, you know, lock it in, rain it in, whatever. And I still went out both Friday and Saturday night, but I wasn't in bed by midnight. I didn't go out out. You know what? I feel the same. I actually feel less energized than I would have if I had had five hours of sleep. I've had a theory for a long time that like the last time I woke up in my eyes open and I was like, God, I feel good. It must have been like 1997. Yeah. It doesn't matter. It doesn't matter. You're just always tired. So you might as well go out and have fun. I drank till midnight last night. I knew I had worked it. But I'm like, I don't care. This is fun. Good for you. It's fun. And I don't want to rest anymore. And I'm annoyed with myself that I did. But this weekend, I'm going to the ranch and I'm a little bit worried because the weather looks really horrendous. So we're going to be hiking and also when you got to prep your body a little bit. I know. Well, that's what I was also thinking is, you know, a few last March, too, and make it a
little bit easier. Exactly. It wouldn't kill me to just not have, you know, 7,000 marches. But like I told you guys last time, the last time I did the ranch, I came straight from mecanos. I went from a mecanos vendor into an eight day ranch and I survived. So whatever. It'll be fine. But then I have Coachella and then I have two bachelor at parties in Vegas and Miami back to back. Holy. So I made, I might pass away in April. So we, you know, it didn't, it didn't kill me. It's fine. I'll, that I rested this weekend a little bit. Don't die. We need you. No, like literally, we need, we need help insurance and such. I know. No, I know. I'm excited. I was like prepping some of my outfits this weekend. So I'm excited. I went shopping for a few Coachella outfits and brought some bits and bobs together. Just to go backwards very quickly when you said, like, oh, you know, a couple of martinis last. Like, maybe that would, no, fuck it. I know. Like, like, let's just, you even said you're like, yeah, you know, like, no, drink the martinis. Have fun. Go hiking. You're going to have a great time with your mom. You're going to be exhausted no matter what you do.
You're going to be tired. I agree. I'm not into the optimizing thing. I think people are way too, oh, God, you go to sleep, optimize, eat all this healthy food. I feel healthy as when I'm, when I'm living my life, you know, doing my, doing my best. Well, I didn't mean to go out on Thursday, but I, I left with pig. We were so hungover from Wednesday, we said, let's go get one apparel spritz. So just, you know, cut, cut the hangover and that turned into three apparel spritz as a martini. My brother met up with us. We went for sushi. Then we were drinking more. It's just like, okay, well, you know, whatever, and I was out in my pajama top of my glasses, but it was fun. And then what did we do on Friday? Oh, we filmed. We filmed with that. Yeah. We did. We had a really productive day Friday, which just goes to show you that you're at the cafe. I saw Chris came. Oh, wait. You were baristaing it up. We were baristaing. It was our busiest day yet at Christina's cafe on Friday. Congratulations. Yeah. It was huge. I really learned how to use the machine. Yeah. I was barista. She really got in there. We did some latte art and, you know, we have something exciting to tell everybody, which
is that Christina's cafe is franchising to New Jersey. That is true. Yeah. That is true. Because Steve is getting the Christina's cafe machine. And that's what we're calling it, by the way, and there's no real, you know, I'm just kidding. Brought to you by DeLongue. Brought to you by DeLongue. Christina's Cafe ATM. Brought to you by DeLongue. Steve is getting the machine, so we're franchising to New Jersey. I'm so excited. Me too. I could, like, do you know I kept checking the front steps and, like, Lauren, my wife was like, for those people out there, it was like, Steve married to Lauren, who's a assistant, which a couple of people must know. I think you should always say my Lauren. Yeah, my Lauren. Yeah. Which now, but it sounds like now I'm possessive of your Lauren. No. Okay. She definitely says my Lauren when she refers to you. My Lauren was like, it's not there. Right. Right. You're facing waiting for it, like a baby being waiting to be delivered. But that's the best feeling is when you're waiting for something to arrive and every day it could be today. And I just feel that this is going to be so fun and I can't wait for you to make your
first drink at Christina's Cafe, New Jersey. I'm so excited. And cast one question, though, I've been thinking about it. Yeah. So yes, I took the girls grocery shopping as I do every Sunday. And we're going grocery shopping and I was like, oh my God, I'm getting rid of my old machine. I need beans. I've got to start. I'm in the bean market. So do you use coffee beans or espresso beans? I understand they're the same, but like espresso beans are stronger like, what bean are you using? Well, just coffee because if it's espresso, they, the machine does it differently. It knows. Oh my God. That's so amazing. That's so amazing. That's so amazing. I mean, I think just from a quick Google, they're like basically the same thing. Okay. All right. Good. Yeah. And the machine just makes the, I don't know. So here's the thing. It'll never replace the $1 billion I spent on my Starbucks coffees every, you know what I mean? But like, I'm so excited to get this machine going for when I am having a home coffee. Like your first Saturday, Sunday morning, making a little flat white.
It's nice to have the option because, you know, for example, on, on Thursday, I had my morning at Christina's cafe and then my, my afternoon treat was my, the toasted coconut cold brew at cold cold, yeah, it's the best thing ever. That was my afternoon treat. So it's nice to have options, you know, I love the thought of it. Also, my wife is addicted to a flat white. Oh, well, she's going to your Lauren is going to my Lauren. Sorry, my Lauren is going to absolutely and flat white is really difficult to make. A lot of places in the, you know, and I busted the United States and New York don't do it. But I haven't even gotten a, since I went to Christina's cafe, I've only gotten like afternoon coffees out, not in the morning, because it's just so nice to do it and go back. I mean, listen, I love that, I love the idea. Also your mom's being replaced, she's not coming over in the morning, like with your coffee. I know. She's coming to get it down. Yeah. You're really saving now. All right, let's go to some callers. Let's talk to Emmy. Hey, Emmy, how are you?
Hey, how's it going? Good. How are you? What's going on? Yeah, I'm good. Thank you. London, England. Oh, amazing. I'm Canadian though, so it's kind of not as exciting, but I'm a video producer. Cool. Thank you. And this week to launch HBO Max coming to the UK, we're actually filming with the cast of the pit. And we have a, we have a feature at a capital where I work, and it's called fan mail. So basically what we do is we get fan mail written in by people, like sometimes people to us. Sometimes they just DM us, but I would not be doing my due diligence as a good producer without calling in to get the biggest fans to give me their question that they want to ask them. Oh, what do you guys think? I mean, I would love that. Can it be a specific question or does it have to be like high level? Like, who's your other favorite cast member? Because I want to ask why there was dirt under the little boys fingers this week on the pit.
I just think that was a detail which we were meant to see. And I know something nefarious is going on, and I'm very concerned. It can literally be whatever you want. So the thing about the future, they have a shredder as well. So anything they don't want to answer goes in the shredder, but I feel like it'll be more fun if you guys get an answer from them. Okay. I think we should ask something about Santos. What is it that is making, what is it about Santos' personality that is making it impossible for her to forgive Langdon? Yeah. You're looking at me for approval. You're the host. I want to know deep like psychological, what, what, what, what facet of her personality. When she, and you know what I find fascinating is the way that the season is set up, she's obviously drowning in paperwork and, you know, doing her, she's behind on her notes and her charting, you know, and they are having the busiest day ever. We need good doctor. We need. We need it. We need good doctors and he's obviously repented.
Now, what, what is it about her personality, second part of the question, or is it something about him specifically? Is she a rule abiding person, or is it something about him that she specifically doesn't like because I think it's so clear he's a good doctor who cares so much. They are drowning. They need all the help they can get, both, you know, on a, on a minor level today and on a macro level in the industry of, of, of, of medicine. So what is it? I would love to know that. Oh my God. I, this is the best call ever. I'm obsessed. No, like I was so excited to call you. I've been waiting for it to get confirmed because I was like, okay, I know what I'm going to do before I do the shoot. So this is so fun. I'm so glad you guys had me on. Thank you for calling. And it's the best show ever. I mean, seriously, I, I think it is the most well made show ever in the history of television. It is so fantastic every episode is too short and I'm already getting the end of season panic because it's coming in and I just, it is just so fantastic and they're just, the cast they love each other so much and it's just, it's just amazing.
Thank you so much. Yeah. Oh my God. Thank you for calling. Seriously. I'm going to tag you guys. I'm going to tag you guys in the clip. Okay. Please do. Please do. I'm so excited. Thank you for calling. Thank you for calling. Have a good one. Thank you. Love the show. Thank you. Bye. Oh my God. That was an incredible call. Oh my God. I really like on air meeting from our off air meeting to start the show, I was so excited to share what I want to see next season and Lauren and like I texted them while watching the episode. Nobody responded. And then I was like, Hey, guys, justice for my idea next year. And literally, they're like now crickets, crickets, crickets. Yeah. Well, do you want to share? Is that did the pit ever consider or would they consider starting a season or showing us what the emergency room looks like when it's slow? And there's not a pit fest or a water side park collapse or whatever is going on. And like we get some more interpersonal stuff and like instead of seeing them like, you
know, holding the leg and being like, you know, no, but like, don't you know, I don't think that that's, I don't think there's ever a slow day in the pit. Okay. So that's, so I get it. That's what they're saying. I find it an impossibility that like you go to an emergency room and there's not like a day that's a little bit slower than others. Yeah. Maybe. I mean, take it. You can tweet HBO Max if you want. Well, listen. I mean, if you're listening, it's only three days. It's only exactly a third season would only be a third day of it. I agree. I agree. What happens if we just start off slow a couple episodes and robbies have been in a coffee and shooting the shit with Santos and we learn a little bit more about them. That's what I'm saying. Right. It's going to be him coming back from his trip, right? That'll be his first day back. Yeah. I think one of the reasons the show is so successful and impressive is that it doesn't necessarily need all that and they're able to just be like, so entertaining based off of what's going on in the emergency room. I do you know what I should have asked? I mean, I should have asked a smarter question about, well, she's probably still listening to go. No, no.
Well, I just think that how they deal with huge issues in such a human way is one of the most impressive parts of the show. Obviously, they dealt with ice in this past episode and it was really, really moving and really, really hard to watch. So I just, I really wonder how they decide which issues to tackle and how they are able to infuse such humanity into these really difficult topics because it's done so, so beautifully. And this, I mean, this week was just like really heartbreaking with how they dealt with ice. And yeah, I mean, and then like looking today, seeing that ice is in real life going to go to the airports. It's just like the air, the air pit, yeah, the air pit, yeah, I'm like, oh, you're going to send the masked mall cops who to the airports when there's three hour TSA lines. Yeah, sure. What could go wrong? That doesn't scare me at all. That's, yeah, for sure. Yeah, but everything seems super under control, guys, everything seems super, super under control.
Anyway, let's talk to Heather. Hi, Heather. How are you? Hi, Tang. How are you? Good. What's going on? Thanks for calling. Thank you for having me. So for context, I have been dating my boyfriend for three years now, about six months ago, he just met like all my family at a huge party and everybody loved him. It went great and all that. And we don't go out a lot. So he hasn't, you know, we don't do a lot of events together, but this past weekend, he had the opportunity to meet my best friend. I hosted a party for her kid at my place and, you know, he was invited and he was just down the street for me so he could have come. But so I called him while I was setting up and I was like, hey, we're almost done. Are you going to come or are you going to go, you know, to lunch with your dad like you'd said? And he's like, oh, yeah, I have to call him. I'm like, okay, figure it out, let me know. So he doesn't show up and it was totally fine. I tried not to freak out when I went to his place, I'm like, hey, how was it?
What happened? He's like, oh, like did you end up having lunch with your dad? And he said, he said, no, I called him and he ended up doing something else blah, blah, blah. And I was just kind of confused. So I just dropped it, but it was really disappointing that he didn't show up. I mean, this is my best friend. And, you know, yeah, I think it's, it's a little kid's birthday party. So I get it. People don't want to come. But I guess in that more to me and maybe I didn't present it that way, but it really pissed me off. And I couldn't sleep that night and we're starting to talk about getting engaged. So I'm just like, it's been three years and you haven't met my best friend. Like, what do I do? Yeah. So I do have some follow up questions about that. How is it possible that it's been three years and he's never met your best friend? Well, we haven't made a lot of effort. Like, we don't go out too much. We stay at home and hang out with our dogs and we go to the beach. My friend just had a baby a year ago. So I only see her like two to three times a year. It's really hard.
It's not right. Okay. And, and to be honest, like, maybe I haven't made more of an effort. Like, we haven't done, you know, we don't do group things. I haven't tried to set up, you know, like a group date or something. So I mean, I could do that, but I'm just like, do I confront him or do I just, do I try to set up an outing word they can meet? I mean, there's, there's layers to this. I think first of all, you are totally valid in feeling a little hurt that he didn't show up to this. I think, look, if he said to you, babe, I'm really not in the mood for a kid's birthday party. I can't handle it today. Sorry about that. I'll, I'll catch the next one. Fine. But the fact that he never met your best friend, the fact that he lived down the street from you and the fact that he didn't bother to send you a text to say, Hey, babe, sorry, I'm not going to make it is really weird to me. I'm not going to lie to you. That would really hurt me. It would really bother me if that was how things, if that was how the cookie crumbled. I think the fact that he didn't, you know, make the effort knowing that you were putting
on this child's birthday party and it was an opportunity, a really lovely opportunity to meet your best friend and the fact that he just wasn't clear about it. It just does not, you know, it just does not sit right with me and I really, I just think also the communication about it is strange. The fact that he just didn't shoot you a text so that you're not looking at your phone the whole time or looking at the door the whole time thinking he's going to walk in. I think that's a little weird. I think you need to speak to him about it and really, really see how he reacts because I just think it's very important in relationships that you show up for each other and also you care about each other's friends. Now, I hear you that you guys are not in a pattern of going out together, but I'm also like a little bit, that does give me pause as well because I think life is, I totally get being a homebody. That's who you are. That's cool. I get that. I'm happy that you guys have such a lovely world together.
Life is, it has more people in it and life is about showing up for each other's communities and there will come a time in your relationship and if you end up getting married, that you're going to want your best friend to come over and watch TV or bring her kids or if you guys have kids down the line, you're going to need support, you're going to need community. So living in a silo as a couple, I just, I don't know, that also gives me pause. So I think you've got to give, got to speak to him about it and say, you know, why didn't you come and make the effort to meet my best friend and her child, especially knowing that I was throwing the party, we had talked about it and just see what he has to say because I do think you need to get to the bottom of this. Yeah, and I just like, I literally felt so alone. I kind of volunteer to watch the baby like half the time because, you know, everybody was in like their own clique or like couples or whatever and I'm just like, I, I, I, I have my best friend now, like my partner, like I thought I'd, we'd be doing more stuff together where I don't have to show up alone, you know, to family, so your friend party
is anymore. Sure. I get that. And you need to, you need to communicate that to him too because this is the type of thing that it seems like a small thing, but this can grow into a huge, huge issue and a marriage where, you know, he's going to be saying, oh, your other friend's getting married and he's going to say, oh, I can't be bothered to go. Sorry. So you need to figure out, you need to get to the bottom of this. You need to have a really open conversation about it, especially if you are going to get engaged because like I said, life is not just two people living in a house together. Life has many people. Life has ups and downs. It has community and the whole, you know, if you especially are feeling, oh, I want to go out more. I want to go out with him. That people's habits and people's tendencies only get more intense as they get older. So if he's the type who's not going to ever leave the house unless it has something to do with him specifically, you need to know that now and you need to make a decision whether you're okay with that. I completely agree with you.
Thank you so much. Of course. Of course. Get to the bottom of it. Knowledge is power. It's scary. I get that, but it's better to know what's going on before you enter into a marriage that, you know, doesn't suit you. So just, just have a combo with him about it. Be strong. Okay. I love you. Love you. Thanks for calling. Bye. Yeah. That really scares me. I mean, I think that's just a really strange thing to do to not show up to your girlfriends, best friends, birthday party for her kid at her house, which is down the road for me that you already talked about. That's like, I don't know about that. All right. Let's take a super, super quick break. I will be taking more calls right after this. Don't go anywhere. Well, welcome back to Speaking's live exclusively on Radio and each, I don't want to do. I wish it was a raining, but that's okay. We okay. Yeah. You're in your weather report, era. That's true.
I mean, you were talking a little bit about it earlier at the top of like, I've really been noticing. Yeah. Do you think someone's sitting by their phone like, like naked, like, I don't know what to wear today. I think it's supposed to be posted yet. I mean, a big jacket. You don't need a big jacket. It is. It is helpful. No, I agree. No, I agree. Like the weather app said, it's not raining. Didn't say it was raining when I left and it was raining. I actually left my apartment then went back inside and grabbed a umbrella. That's annoying. If I had seen your stories, you need a real, you need a real feel boots on ground. And I think you're providing them. Exactly. Exactly. Especially because in New York, you walk everywhere and it really affects you if you are not wearing the right shoes in the right coat. I really, you know, it's not like in LA, you make a mistake, you're in your car anyway. You can, you know, you can escape in your car. You're right. You can put on the AC. You can grab a sweater in your car, whatever, fine. Here, you're kind of out and then you can be exposed to the elements. That's just, you know, I am a, you know, aspiring weather girl.
So I think you're doing a hell of a job and I bet you tomorrow we can get you on a local affiliate doing like a weekly weather segment. Just say the word. I want to do it on Instagram. I like doing it on Instagram, but if you ever want to, you know where to come from. You get you a green screen and then you can like actually point to the different. I would love that. Yeah. I would love that so much. All right. Let's go to Kit. Hey, Kit. How are you? Hi, Kit. I'm good. I'm good. How are you? I'm good. Thanks for calling. What's going on? Okay. So I've been seeing this guy for about three months and I want to start with like the strong one first and then get to the kicker because I really need to right by you. Okay. So I'm someone who very rarely gets a crush. I would describe myself as a dummy sexual. We really need to have that intellectual connection, which I do feel with this guy. He's funny. He loves to read. We have great conversations. He's a great kisser and he's actually very clear about how he feels about me, which is
very refreshing. We're both in our late 30s. So he's done a lot of dating. Love it. Yeah. We know what it's like out there. Here's the kicker. He has bad teeth. But what kind of bad teeth, like plaque, or, you know, I don't feel like I'm that picky. It's actually that he's smoked for 20 years and he quit last year. Okay. They're pretty stained. They're yellow. No, they're brown. They're brown. Okay. Okay. Is this breath bad? Or is there just? No. No. Oh, I think that's fixable. I don't think that's that big a deal. I think that's fine. I think you can get him professional teeth whitening, which I did for one of my boyfriend's was a smoker. And it bugged me and we got to a point and I was like, I'm going to get my teeth white in today. Why don't you come with me? And I just did it with him. And it was fine. I don't think that's okay. Things here. Things you cannot fix are like chronic bad breath or like plaque. Like you know, those people who have like the white stuff and you know, that's just
you that's beyond. But it's just okay. Who care? They're a little stained. I think it's very, I think it's very great that he quit smoking and I think you can 100% get his teeth professionally whitened, zoom whitened, hey, if you live in New York, you can go to Dr. Cho. Tell him I sent you. So yeah. Okay. Great. I think that's fine. When do you feel like it would be appropriate because I know this is kind of a sensitive topic. He's probably insecure about it. And so I've never said anything. I don't know. I am way too direct and also a bitch. So it's kind of baked into my personality that I'm going to be really brutally honest with everybody. But I think it's like when you got when you guys get a little bit more comfortable or or you can bring up like, oh, I'm going to the dentist tomorrow or something like that and just see if you can get in it. And you can just say it in a nice way. You can be like, you know, you can get like teeth whitening and it will fix that like no problem. And just say it in a in a sweet way. I don't even bring it up and be like, hey, I have something to talk to you about. I think it's when you find a level of comfort that you can just bring up teeth whitening
in conversation and it won't be a big deal. Okay. So you did it because you're like, I'm going to get my teeth whitened, come with me. I was like, I think you should get your teeth whitened to my boyfriend. And I just say that like my wife, like I was an ex-smoker. I drink a ton of coffee, like my teeth aren't as white as they should be and she literally said to me one day, she's like, I'm going to get my teeth whitened. I think like you should try it. Like I think you really like it. And I did it. And now they have fallen back and I'm actually going again next month. Yeah. And like I thought it was pretty awesome that she like, oh, my wife would probably be more attracted or like would you into my teeth being wider. And I took it as a positive thing that she told me as opposed to a negative thing. And I think it's a sign, like spin zone, like it's a sign if you got really defensive. It's a positive note. I agree. Yeah, especially because it's something that you can easily change. And it's, you know, it's, it's a superficial thing, but it's just, it does make all the difference in the world. So I agree. I think you can be like, I'm going to go get my teeth whitened or like, I'm going to do cross white strips. Do you want one or something like that?
Like it's not a big deal. And I agree with Steve that if, if he gets defensive, then that's not a good thing. Because again, it's not like a personal thing. Like it's not like you're saying like, oh, I'm making this up like you're really short. Or I don't know, whatever. Like it's, it's just like a, it's just, yeah, you're not like your sister's a big girl. Right, right. I mean, like this is something easily fixable. Yes. I agree. More Americans than, or more people than not are going through. Exactly. Yeah. Yeah. My teeth would be literally black if I didn't get them, if I didn't get them whitened because I drink so much coffee, I drink red wine and I use to smoke. So like, yeah, we're good. It's not a, it's not. So this is very reassuring. Yeah. It's not a moral thing. You know, it's like people just, it's, it's all good. It's fine. Yeah. I just didn't want to sound judgmental, but this is so reassuring because you're right. I mean, I will be more attractive to him and I, I hope we get to that comfort level place where I can just see it and come out very casually. I hope so too. And I think you will. And I think, you know, like you said, you've both done a ton of dating.
And if you really found this great connection, you can easily fix this. It's not a big deal. Okay. Oh my God. This makes me feel so much better. Thank you, team. Yeah. Good luck. I'm sure it'll go great. Okay. Thank you. All right. Love you. Bye. Yeah. I don't think that's that big a deal. I mean, me either. I think that she should just say it like you said. Yeah. And I know you're like making fun of yourself. Like, I'm a bitch and direct. But like, I don't think there's anything wrong about being direct about this. Yeah. Also, like, that's kind of cool. She's going to be even more into her man. Totally. It's exactly. It's like such an easy fix. It's not a big deal. I agree. I agree. All right. Let's go to Marie. Hey, Marie. How are you? Hey. Okay. So let me gas you up for just a second. I hope you know that what you do is so important. Thank you. And I think about that all the time. You know, I wish I had somebody like you when I was going through a really toxic
relationship. So I just hope you think about that when you get, you know, nasty comments and stuff like that. Thank you. That means a lot. Thank you. Yeah. And also, I love the new format with like Steve and Warren and everybody chiming in. It's really fun to listen to you guys. Thanks for saying that. Thanks for saying that. I like it a lot better. I could never go back to just being by myself. I love having people to bounce off of. It feels like the flow of the show is better. And I like having different opinions of people who are in different, you know, have different phases of life. And it's all, it's all good. More information. So thanks for saying that. Sure. Yeah. So just kind of a little bit of backstory. We're the same age. I'm literally one day older than you. So I fell over here. Amazing. I made a resolution that I would ask out 12 guys in person. This year. Love it. And I don't like go out to bars really.
I'm way more of a home body. But like, I'm not afraid to hit on a guy in a grocery store or something like that. So in that spirit, one of my girlfriends made me a dating business card. Cute. With with my like Instagram info on there. So I find that like sometimes I have like a natural segue into talking to a guy if they're like maybe wearing a sports shirt or something like that. But I'm wondering like, what's a good way? If I have like no other in other than like, hey, he's cute, he's my type. What do you think I should say when I give them this business card? Like saying you're just walking up to them in a place. Yeah. And you think that they're cute. Yeah. Like a cold intro. Yeah. I don't want to just hand it to them and run away, right? No. I want to kind of like sit in the discomfort a little bit even if it is uncomfortable because that's positive. I love that you're pushing yourself. And I love that you are aware of your own kind of like your your boundaries or where you're
trying to grow. It's really cool. I think that the business card in itself is enough of a talking point. And I think you can go up to them and say, hi, I am. You know what I honestly think you should say, which a lot of cool people would resonate with is if you're like, hi, I'm trying to, I'm sick of the apps. I'm trying to meet more people in person. I think you're cute. I made this card. If you think I'm cute too, you should hit me up. We'll grab a drink. If a guy did that to me, I would take off my clothes at the bar. I would literally take off my shirt at the bar and I'd be like, let's go because that is the hottest fucking thing that I've ever heard, especially in today's day and age. When I do feel like cool people right now are really focused on like getting off of the apps, being bold in person, all that stuff. So some variation of that, just being like, hey, I'm sick of like online dating, trying to meet more people. You don't even have to say like, I think, you know, make it so daily, you should be like, I'm trying to meet more people. If you ever want to go out sometime, like, here's my number. You know, I think that is the best way to do it.
Even if a girl came up to me and said, like, oh, you know, I'm trying to meet more party for whatever, I just think that it's so cool and attractive when people have confidence that I would love that. So I think it's going to, I think that's what I would say. Okay, perfect. Thank you so much. I appreciate it. Thanks for calling and I love this idea. Maybe I need to make business cards. Have fun. All right. See you. Bye. Bye. That's genius. It's genius. That's so cute. I absolutely love it. It's really, really great. Okay, the break, yes, that's what I was thinking to you. Let's go to a very quick break and why are you laughing at me? What a great idea. What a great idea. We'll be right back. Lots of great calls after this. Thank you to Starbucks for sponsoring today's segment. With the weather changing, I can feel nature healing itself and I couldn't be more excited to get back outside. But with the weather change comes spring forward and with that comes a new way to motivate myself in the morning, my Starbucks before sunrise era.
The first few mornings when the clocks change, losing an hour of sleep can be a lot. It takes me some time to get into a rhythm and a few non-negotiables I have to ease the transition are working out in the morning. Okay. So you guys know I love working out. It is such an important part of my routine, gives me energy, makes me calm and something about working out in the morning just gives me a burst of energy. I especially love it before I come to do the show because then I am so awake to take all of your calls. Also making sure to block off some time for myself in the morning before all the meetings and the chaos of the day starts. Oh, and making sure I'm rich while I'm walking every day, of course, with one of my newest obsessions at Starbucks, the toasted coconut cream cold brew. You guys, when I tried the toasted coconut cream cold brew, I was obsessed or right away. It is so good. The mix of vanilla syrup and coconut cream, oh my god, and the little toasted coconut flakes they top it with, so freaking good. I love the idea of taking the cold brew that I know and love and mixing it up a little
bit, especially in the morning, though the season change is a transition, it's a transition I am willing to make, of course, with the help of Starbucks. Spring forward is a vibe shift, customize your drink your way at Starbucks and order now on the app. Welcome back to, it's me Tings Live, sorry, I'm just glitching again. Welcome back to, it's me Tings Live, exclusively on Radio Antietch channel one, two, do you know what I'm doing this afternoon? Are we gassing? You'll never guess. I'm going to a hyperbaric oxygen chamber. That was literally going to be my guess. God damn it. I found one here because I'm so obsessed with it in LA, but the problem is you can't take electronics in in LA, they have Netflix in there and this one they were like, you can bring your favorite book. I was like, oh, I don't know about that because you're supposed to go for like two hours this time. I don't know if I'm going to be able to do it. Hard for an audio book. Hard for an audio book, phonetic like me. When we went in LA, like after I got my boobs on, you're supposed to do it after you
have surgery, so I made, but I was so scared I made Lauren come in with me. We sat side by side in blankets and watched that like Mar-a-Lago trash reality show. Great show. Members only Palm Beach. Yeah. We made it through like one episode, but it looks like not to be dark, but like the machine looks like this submersible. And so it was just scary, you know? That's right, the one that went down to the dark, and they like lock you in. They didn't come back. Let's hope your zen's better. No, no, no. And it will, it will, but it's just, it was just a little, but then after I did the first time, I got obsessed with it. What does it do? It's just good for you. It's good for, it's healthy. It's just good. It's just good. It's just good. It makes you pretty. Oh. And it's really good for recovering. Cheeling. It's good for hangovers. It's good for your skin. It's just oxygen. Yes. And Brian Johnson said it was the best thing you could do for your skin, and I'm really on him right now. So I'm good. That's why I decided to do it again. A lot of people like post surgery go in there for recovery. And then does it whiteen your teeth because this girl can get her boyfriend into a hyperbaric
chamber. But you're sitting there for that time. He mad as well. To a cross-dressing man. Yeah, exactly. Do you know? People are slacking me from like work listening to your show and just going, I'm really jealous of Tink's life. Like hearing about your hyperbaric chamber. Yeah. No, it's a job. Are you bringing a book in? Or are you going to bring a book? Yeah. I wonder what it's going to do to my fake tan though, because I just did a big, fake tan. I don't think it'll do anything. You don't think so? Okay, good. I hope not. What? I mean, she just, she said I don't think, and then she like did the shrug shoulders like I don't know. I don't know why it would have wanted to be tan for the ranch, because I just feel like someday when you feel better about yourself, you can do more athleticism. Oh, I already, I already searched more athleticism. I already searched at hyperbaric and then I was looking at my chat. By the way, you guys, this is serious. The only chat bot we are using is Claude AI. Okay. I'll go into it a different time, but I'm telling you this is my official endorsement of Claude. We are Claude people over here, delete all your other chatbots. Claude is the only one we're using, but I was like laughing at myself because these are,
this is really what I said on, on Claude spray tan and hyperbaric chamber, preventing blackouts while drinking Epstein, something about a question I had about the Epstein files, Bachelor at season 22 premiere, tell me more about Scorpio men, Q versus Q spelling, silicone implant softening timeline, Advil versus Tylenol for sunburn, cooking bonus skinless chicken thighs, and I was like, that's me in a nutshell. My chats are. All good questions. I just looked into this and it says, yes, hyperbaric oxygen therapy chambers can affect a spray tan. Oh, great. Patients are strictly required to remove all lotions, oils and makeup, including self-tanner before entering. You have furthermore, the high-pressure oxygen environment can accelerate the fading of skin pigmentation. Oh, Christ. That's why people go in for scarring, that kind of makes sense. I love saying things with confidence when I have no idea. By the way, if you like anyone who's listening, fake it till you make it, man, and then you just adjust when you realize you're wrong. I like it. God. The confidence in you. Well, I'll report back.
Please. You can always get another spray. This is true. All right. Let's go to Danielle. Hey, Danielle, how are you? Hi. Can you hear me? I have my headphones on. Yeah. We can. What's going on? Great. I'm calling with both an update and a personal story. Okay. I called, I think about a month ago, about a friend who ended her engagement and was in a toxic relationship with a guy. Yes. And they broke up. Oh, my God. They did. They broke up. She had enough. Oh, my God. Well, I'm so happy for her. That's amazing. Good for her for being strong. I know. I told her I was so proud of her and that, you know, whatever she needed during this time. I would be there for her. It's amazing. That was Wednesday when I told her and then my boyfriend broke up with me Wednesday night. Oh, my God. Fuck. I'm so sorry. How long were you guys together? I'm about a year. A year. Okay. Wow.
Fuck. I'm so sorry. And you were completely blindsided. Interesting. Not completely. For both in our early 30s, you know, 32, I'm 33. I've been through a few relationships. One really long term. I'm his first adult relationship and first person that I love you to. Oh, my God. And it's just been a theme of like, I kind of feel like I'm further ahead than he is all the time. Right. And I feel insecure and, you know, anytime I would bring it up, he would validate it and be like, you're not crazy. Like, I do have hesitancy because I want to, I don't want to waste your time. I want to do right by you and I love you and I don't know what the right thing is to do. Like, how does someone know if they're supposed, like if this is their person and he's a
very analytical man, Virgo moon, Virgo rising. So he's just always been able to sink his way out of anything or into anything. Yeah. And he's really proud of that ability, but he said with this and similarly with his decision to like, leap forward and start a business on his own, he's had a lot of blockages. And I feel like collateral damage in that process a lot of the time. Yeah. Of course. Yeah. We had been having those conversations, but we always repaired and resolved and he was always the one who's like, no, I want to be with you. I can't imagine not talking to you or waking up next to you. Like, I want to make it work. And we had a conversation like that. One day last week. And then one day he supplies me with flowers and then broke up with me that night. Oh, fuck. Oh, my God.
Oh, I felt really blindsided even though we had those conversations. Right. Like, we're on the road to repair. Right, right, right. Of course. And have you guys spoken since your breakup? We did. We spoke for the first time yesterday because as I've been going through like the stages of grief, I hit anger and I called him in a set of rage Sunday morning and was just like, that was a really messed up thing to do to someone you say you love to, you know, surprise them with flowers to repair to make it seem like we were moving forward and then to end the day with, I don't think I'm the boyfriend that you deserve or need. I don't think that I'm capable of giving you what you want. And I'm trying to set you free kind of thing. Yeah. Fuck. When we talked about it, he was like, I thought you were inviting me over for a breakup conversation because the kicker is when he surprised me with flowers, I was in the middle of therapy.
Oh, my God. Oh, my God. Jesus Christ. So do you want to get back together with him or are you just like trying to, trying to heal from here on out? I want to get back together with him, but I'm trying to understand if that's just because it's familiar and I'm scared of being single and I don't know what's out there and like, I'm in my 30s and just all those scary things, but he's a really good person and the fact that we're able to have these kinds of hard conversations in such a respectful way, we talk for six hours, no screaming or fighting or arguing, it's just like a real want to get where the other person is coming from and he was like, wow, thank you for sharing that. I, that's a totally new perspective. I thought you were inviting me over to break up with me because of the conversation you had with your therapist because he asked me what we talked about and I was like, she asked if my knees are being met and I said, I don't know because sometimes they are and feels
really insecure. Yeah. Yeah. I think you need to, I think you need to take like a month to yourself and just see how you feel and let the dust settle because this is all a lot that's going on and I think you just need to get over the initial shock and really, really see how you feel like you said and see whether you're scared to be alone or whether, you know, you really do want to get back to him because you always have to run to something, not front something. So if you're running from this idea of being single, then, you know, that's not a good reason to be in a relationship. So I would take a month, no contact and see how you feel after that. Just take care of yourself until then and I do think that you'll have a clearer sense of what he means to you and whether this is something worth fighting for after that. That's really good advice. I think what I'm nervous about is like, am I always going to feel I'm worthy in a relationship with him and always feel like that dynamic is just going to continue.
Like, are we going to be able to get past that dynamic and actually be on the same page about our future? Totally. And that's why I think you need to take a month because of my suspicion is that after a month, you'll be still sad, but realizing that this was not the right person and it was just, you know, it was an okay, it was an okay relationship. It was a good time. He was nice, whatever, but it just wasn't the right thing. And sometimes you just need a little space from it to look at it analytically. Yeah. I have a hard time with taking space. I like to control everything. I got that. I got that. But I think that in this case, you really have to and I think you just need to take care of yourself and try to give it some space because I think you'll see you need someone who's a little bit more just like in themselves. Yeah. I'll try. I lasted four days before I called him screaming at him so.
Try for more. Try for a month. But I'm thinking about you and sending you a big hug. Thank you. Thank you so much. Thanks for calling. Of course. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Oh, that sucks. That really sucks. Sometimes I have this moment, actually, that's going to sound really selfish. I don't want to say it never mind. I know. Sometimes when you're in a really happy phase being single, which I am right now, sometimes when I hear these awful stories and I hear the hurt and people's voices, sometimes I do just think, wow, it's so nice to be in control of my own emotions. But I know that's not how life is, but does that make sense? Sometimes it's just so nice that it's like if I'm having a bad day, it's because of me and if I'm having a good day, it's because of me and it's like if I'm upset, I can fix it because I'm single. And I know that's bad. I honestly, I'm so comfortable being single right now, you guys, it's actually scary. But sometimes I hear people going through breakups and I'm like, that just sounds so painful.
That sounds really, really hard to do all that stuff. But I know that's the, you know, that's the tax you pay for getting in love and doing all that stuff. Can I ask a question? You may. Okay, yesterday when I posted on my story, was it clear to you that I was talking about ladies of London? Yeah. No. Yeah. I was like, what is, like, a picture of the screen, right? Yeah. I knew that earlier you were talking about ladies of London. But it wasn't clear that I was following that through because I had a bunch of people screaming at me. What is, what show are you talking about? And to me, it was really clear. And also with my followers, I kind of just think of them as like my friends or like someone that I like, like, pig, who I would talk back to, connecting the dots. Yeah. And then I wrote on my story, I was like, a guy's follow along, like, you know, something like that. And someone was like, that is really bitchy. And I was like, was it bitchy? It was kind of bitchy, but like, but that's how I would talk to my friend. If they were like, what are you talking about, I'd be like, I'm talking about ladies of London. I'm talking about it all day. So I didn't know if I was being bitchy. And I also always think, I do this to Lauren all the time.
I always think that people can think in my, see in my head. Yeah. Yeah. You think you, or you think you just said something out loud and you, yeah, you did it. Because it's, because it's, but it messes you up because you, I say it so much. Yeah. You said that not everybody, maybe they caught my end of my stories. Whatever it may be. I think I watched your stories all at once. So it made sense. So it made sense, but I could see that if you're a total sense to me. But I guess when you put it that way, we spent an in order amount of time with you. Yes. We always talk, we understand. Yeah. We can translate for you. Of all the things that annoyed, that, that seems like a wild one for them. For them to be up to just people to be annoyed by, or whatever emotion they were putting on it. They didn't like when you gave them attitude. I know. But sometimes I have to give them attitude so they know it's real. I think you've got to put that in their place. Well, and it reminded me of when something that stuck out to me, stood out to me, I'm sorry, on Beverly Hills was when I Sutton called Amanda a dork or something. And she was like, it is soap. I mean, she was like, don't call me a dork. And in that moment, I thought I would never be friends
with Amanda even if she wasn't insane because I'm quite rough with my friends and I'm quite like snippy. And I just think that's how you people actually talk to each other. And either Sutton or Bo's responded or did in the confessional, they're like, if she's gonna get Sutton about that, she's not gonna make it with these women. That is one thing about Beverly Hills, actually you have me thinking, it's a pretty thick skin cast. They go off on each other, but they do kind of rib each other. For sure. And Sutton, I would have said, would have been the weakest one with that before. And now she seems to have gotten control. Sutton was always crying about everything everybody said to her in the previous seasons. And this season, she kind of like found her voice. But I actually still think she's a sensitive Sally. I think she can dish up as she can't take it. She's something, I can't remember something quite, kind of recently, she's quite sensitive. I'm not that sensitive. So I think for me, I'm quite rough with the way that I speak and my friend group is quite bitchy and sarcastic to each other, so that's the way I did it. But then I was like lying in bed and I was like, oh, was I rude to them?
And I was like, no, I wasn't rude to them, I was fine. I don't, I followed along. We've come a long way from the ladies allunded to here, but I think that you were fine. I think you were absolutely fine. Okay, good. Well, I can't wait for you guys to go home and watch ladies of London. That's, I live in London. Lauren, you have the rest of the day off but you have to watch ladies of London. I already, I told my wife tonight. Locked in, locked in. All right, you guys, we will be back on Wednesday with another live show. Until then, watch ladies of London and be good. Bye.
