Hi, I'm Johnny Yorkson Tata, and have you ever felt like giving up? Well, Chantelle did, having a daughter with special needs requires many sacrifices. And this mom was exhausted, on the brink of walking away from her family. But God came to the rescue. You see, Chantelle is a sign language interpreter, and one day while working at a disability conference, she signed for a mother who was giving a speech about the challenges and joys of caring for her disabled daughter. In tears, Chantelle later told the speaker, how God had touched her, giving her the strength to continue on. Oh, friends, we need each other. Ecclesiastes chapter 4 says, two are better than one. If either of them falls down, one can help the other up. So if you know a special needs parent who is struggling, encourage them to press on. And then visit johnianfriends.org for more helpful ways you can reach out.
