Well, the political communications full court press from the Americans continues. Mr. Donald Trump posted on Truth Social this afternoon, telling Canadians and telling the American people, what is going on with Mark Carney and how he feels about Mark Carney and what he is currently doing and that is all just political fugazi. Mark Carney didn't take too kindly to that and he also sent a bar back himself in a press conference today. But what all that happening at the backdrop is of course our subsidized media in this country all going to bat to try and cover up the issues that are going on here and trying to gaslight the Canadian population that everything is fine. It's not the end of the world. Our economy is going to be just okay. Even going as far as trying to convince Canadians of some of the most outlandish theories out there. We're going to be getting into all of it today. Welcome to the Elevator Report. I'm your host Josh and I was going to do our first story, shall we?

As I said, this coming this afternoon late this morning. Mr. Donald Trump said this, it is very good for Canadian politicians like Prime Minister Carter to make President Donald J. Trump the enemy, quote unquote, until their economy collapses. Then it will prove to be very bad for politics, worse than anything that has ever happened to Canadian politicians. Just watch President Donald J. Trump. This is the warning. Donald Trump is giving to Mark Carney. He's like, yes, you can make me the enemy. That's okay. And I know you're making me the enemy because it's good for your politics and guess what? He's not saying anything that isn't untrue. We've been talking about that forever on this show. We've been seeing this in the election. The Liberal Party, as we're going into the last election, months were months out from the last election. Me and Red were sitting on the show saying, well, liberals are looking about done, but they need to find their big bad. If they can find their boogie man, they'll then they'll actually be a formidable opponent in the election. But if they can't, well, it looks like it'll be a conservative win. Then, well, Donald Trump won.

Then Donald Trump did what Donald Trump did. Then all of a sudden, liberals are like, aha! And if you remember, if we read those reports together, how the Liberal Party used taxpayer dollars to fund focus troops to see what people were scared of. And at the time, people were scared of Donald Trump and his tariffs. Then boom, the elbows up campaign was born to gaslight the population and to being afraid of the United States, being afraid of Donald Trump and maintaining political control and power in Canada. So, Donald Trump is saying here is not untrue. And he said, yeah, I mean, you can hate me now for the sake of politics. But guess what? If you decide not to do deal with us and you refuse to do its best by your Canadian population, well, then your economy is going to tank. And then, and then, it won't be so plipically convenient to just hate somebody else for the sake of maintaining power. That's a Donald Trump is alleging here, and quite frankly, some of us view that as well.

But then, Mark Carney, if you remember yesterday, Mr. Lutnik was talking about how Mark Carney pulled out of the deal for political reasons. Mark Carney blew up the deal in the last hours in order to gain political favor. That's what Mr. Lutnik said. And that's what he was ledging in his time on, I believe he was CNBC yesterday. Actuals play here to remind you of what he had to say. In the go show that Canadians approached us and say, come on, let's get it, try to get an interim deal done. So, we worked, you know, before we start doing the big USMCA, sort of big, big thing. And we sat with them six weeks of negotiations, and we hammered out a deal. Mark Carney starts talking to the president, calls him multiple times, I'm in the room with the president, and they reach agreement. And the president, like, truths out, we have a deal. He had a deal because he talked to Mark Carney, right? And then, we were just putting the finer points on it. And Friday at four o'clock, for example, that my Canadian counterparts, they call me,

and we'd like heavy trucks. And I said, no, no, listen, listen, it's Friday at four o'clock. We're signing it at like six or seven. There's no new topic that you're coming up with now. And I said to him, are you trying to blow this up? And the answer was, and I quote, I'm not allowed to say that. They decided for political reasons, domestically, domestic Canada, they'd rather fight with Donald Trump. Even if it's bad for the economy of Canada, for their political ambition, to get certain elections. Now remember, Quebec has the sovereign party was in the lead. Yeah. So that's where they came up with this French nonsense. You think the American side talked about how people speak in Quebec? We do have a deal with France. We have a deal with Italy. We have a deal with Germany. We don't care about their language. None of that was true. Alberta's got an independent vote. This is the Canadian liberal party using their economy to get themselves elected,

even if they're selling their own citizens down the river. It's sad and disappointing, but that's just the way we do it. And so, Mark Carney was asked about this. He had Donald Trump this morning, talking about, hey, this is all plucking. Convenient. You had Mr. Leck yesterday saying, they blew up the deal for their own political reasons. And that question was posed from Mark Carney was, what do you have to say to Mr. Leck, talking about how you blew up the deal for the sake of your own political skin? That's what Carney had to say. I don't think, with all respect, appointed, unelected cabinet members in the United States or experts on Canadian politics. I don't think unelected cabinet ministers, in the United States, have any idea of what's going on with Canadian politics. I mean, okay, fair statement. That's a fair statement. So why did you hire one to run your prime minister's office? Why did you hire a Democrat operative, Maya Johnson, to run your prime minister's office if an unelected bureaucrat in the United States has no cooler idea of how Canadian politics works?

Why did you hire one to run your office? Curious. And this is why it all comes crumbling down so quickly and hypocrisy about. You like to talk to Americans quite a bit actually in regards to Canadian politics. You love talking to Barack Obama. You love talking to Alex Soros. You actually love the American perspective on Canadian politics. When you have your cabinet minister, Melanie Jolie doing events that in Fox Harbor Nova Scotia with Alex Soros, talking about trade, talking about the American-Canadian relationship. You seem to be very interested in what those folks have to say about Canadian politics. But then all of a sudden, someone calls out your behavior who has more power than you, by the way. And now it's just looking down your nose. Oh, they don't know anything about Canadian politics. What do you know about Canadian politics, Mr. Mark Karning? You have three passports. Oh, sorry. I think you forfeited one, but we'd have an actually got verification actually did that. And you hadn't even lived in our country for, I was a better part of 15 years before you ran for prime minister. What do you know about being Canadian? What do you know about Canadian politics? The only thing that you know about Canadian politics

is that the MPs are just what was it you said only useful for votes? That's what you said. No, Mark Karning isn't anything, no way. The Canadian politics either. So that's funny. Hearing that coming from him. But this is the issue that we're seeing in Canada right now is the gaslighting. That we don't need Kusma. You've been hearing that, that messaging's been starting to push. We don't need if Kusma were to see you and tomorrow we actually could we can survive not having Kusma. You started to see that. Come, he's like Deloitte who are very insulated from decisions coming from the prime minister. Well, they had, they pushed out this study, which fascinating folks. They wanted to let Canadians know that don't worry. How bad would it be for Canada if the US left Kusma? What does support report suggests? What's funny about this title, my friends, is they just changed the title of this article because what the title actually said, if you see right here in the black at the bottom of the image, and you see it here in their CTV tweet, US Kusma exit would be

severe but not cataclysmic for Canada Deloitte report says, but they just changed the headline to how bad would it be for Canada if the US left Kusma? What does support report suggests? I wonder why they had to change the title on that is because they realized that they were gaslighting Canadians into believing that everything's going to be fine if Kusma ends. They tried to suggest, in the article, that yeah, it would be tough but we could manage. We'll read the first four paragraphs here. It says, boosting trade with a more diverse array of international partners would only plug part of the whole in Canada's economy if the US were to withdraw from the North American trade pact, a new Deloitte candidate report. Canada must look at measures beyond trade diversification to help make up the difference, such as removing interprovincial trade barriers and fostering new industries, road authors of tariffs, a rough road leads to new destinations released Thursday. It lays out a best and worst case scenario for the domestic economy amid the cross-border trade maelstrom. What we want to do is get a better picture around what's the impact if the worst happens and

the Canada US Mexico agreement falls apart. Then how much can we offset the negative impact report co-author Matthew Stewart, a partner at Deloitte Canada said in any of you. What you'll see in this article is what their report suggests is that they would be able to just unlock interprovincial trade that would offset a lot of the negative impact. But they don't really get into the details of really what level. It talks about how to unlock somewhere around $800 billion in trade, which would offset the pain that we'd feel of not having a tear-free relationship with the United States. It says, yeah, we can manage. That was the conclusion of the report is we could manage. I don't know about that. When over 70% of your trade is with the United States of America, I think some level of free trade would be very helpful, but it just scrapped co-small together. Telling Canadians it may not be that big of a deal and you could just, we have mechanisms to work around it. Seems to be running in narrative to make Canadians feel better about where things

are at with our relationship with the United States. The funny part I find with the idea of bringing down interprovincial trade barriers, being a big part of trying to mitigate the blow from say, co-small blowing up is the fact that Mark Carne's had a year and a half to do that and still hasn't done it. It makes you think it's going to happen now because the need have this today, where Le J put out a poll saying that Canadians are happier than they've been in years. Poll finds. It's a Le J poll that was posted and then we'll put it in the description as well, but it goes into kind of that Canadians are the happiest they've been in a quite amount of years. And well, let's just say we have our questions about this poll in general. In fact, this is being posted. Tells you a lot with where things are currently at. Canadians are actually full of anxiety. They are an anxious people at the moment because there's a lot of uncertainty in our country, or the trade or the lat, our trade relations with the United States, but as well as the world as at large. And yes, it's easy to make the United States your enemy, but if we actually look

at the global stage right now, there's something a lot more intense happening at hand at the moment. You have the likes of China, Russia, and Iran who've all lined to fight against the West. That's why I find it hilarious to see these left-wing liberals who say, yeah, we've got to support Ukraine. China's not that big of a deal. China's okay. Actually, I prefer China over America. And we're all saying, oh, wait, China's funding the war. Helping fund the war between Russia and Ukraine right now. We don't want to talk about that, but those guys are getting more emboldened and starting to realize they have to make a move. And the United States sees this. And Trump is trying to push his allies to start taking their defense seriously, their economies seriously, and their energy seriously. That's why he's pushing everyone to start funding their militaries. That's why he's getting into all this, is because he knows, and the US is posturing for a conflict with China, Russia, and Iran. And obviously, the war with Iran between the US and Iran.

And China is backing Iran right now and that. That's the real stuff that's going on. If you want to, and this is the issue, right, is, yeah, you can critique the Trump administration's tactics for trying to get this stuff done. But the problem is, well, we have been a not-so-helpful partner in the past decade or so. And even when your liberal, friendly governments in the United States, the Democrats were asking you to take your defense seriously, you still didn't. And so, yeah, the big bad Trump came around and got very serious with you and you didn't like that. So while you're squabbling with your friend, the United States, China is outmaneuvering you. Russia is making moves. Iran is making moves. And guess what, they're all in our country right now, making those moves. So while you are distracted by the nonsense from the CBC about being mad at Donald Trump, there is actual real evil in the world who are in our country who are dividing our people and trying to subvert Western civilization.

I'm going to keep being here talking about that and calling it out. And we're going to keep putting pressure where it needs to be so that we can alert the people, get things moving, and change the trajectory of our nation. But anyways, I'll leave it there. I have ourselves a good one. I'm out.
