Jack Sorgi Reopens Recruitment, Badgers in Mix

On March 9th, a four-star quarterback in the class of 2027, Jack Sorge has decommitted

from Louisville and reopened his recruitment.

The list in Indiana native had pledged to the Cardinals back on June 26th, 2025, but made

the change after careful thought.

Sorge shared his decision on social media, thanking Louisville coach Jeff Brom and the

staff while wishing them well.

He emphasized respect for the program, but excitement for new opportunities ahead.

As the son of former Wisconsin Badgers quarterback Jim Sorge, he brings strong family ties

to the program.

Fans and recruiters there see this as a prime chance, especially since the Badgers extended

an offer recently.

Ranked as the number 20 quarterback nationally and number 4 in Indiana by 247 sports, Sorge

is a top prospect schools one.

Wisconsin appears firmly back in the mix now that Louisville is out.
