On March 31st, NFL owners unanimously approved the Jacksonville Jaguars, playing all their
home games in Orlando in 2027.
The move comes because Everbank Stadium and Jacksonville shuts down for major renovations
that year.
The team will use Camping World Stadium as their temporary spot, a set up locked in
after league backing from two years back.
Jaguars owner Shad Kong called it the perfect solution, praising the league support, the
Tampa Bay Buccaneers for their help, and Florida Citrus.
Sports for pulling it together.
He sees it as a big win for fans, just to drive away in Jacksonville.
Those same renovations will also slash seating capacity for home games already this coming
season in 2026.
With the plan now official, the Jaguars stay on track for their upgraded stadium of
the future while keeping the action rolling nearby.
