America leads the world in medicine development. It matters. We get new medicines first, nearly
three years faster. Five million Americans go to work because we make medicines here at home,
and not relying on other countries keeps us safe. But China is racing to overtake us.
Will we let them? Or will we choose to stay ahead? When America leads, America cures.
Let's tell Washington to keep us in the lead.

This is the all-world receiver tea higgins, man. Only the rules know that Matt Kelly is a
fantasy guru. The powerfather is the best in the gang. Who the?
This is the month of mansion program I am here with Jacob Sanderson. He's back. This guy's back.
He's still in Canada, but he is back, and we're going to be talking about Pukinakua,
as always, the last couple days, where the only show that really wants to dig into Pukinakua,
everyone else is scared to talk about him. We're not scared to talk about him here.
I like Zay flowers, especially after, listen, Andrew Erickson's hot take about Zay flowers
really hit home with me. I've now want to dig more into this. This is Zay flower situation.
Guys, pretty good. We'll talk about him. We'll talk about rookie running backs. We're going to
talk a lot about handcuffs, the RB2s, and a lot of teams. Who are these guys? Some people
aren't sure. This is probably half the teams in the league. You're going to have a debate
about who the RB2 actually is. There's a lot to talk about today on the mind of mansion program.
I'm ready. I'm ready for doing this. I'm super ready. Pukinakua is Mike Tyson now.
Again, this is a topic that a lot of the news services won't even touch. We had a headline
up on player profiler that I'm very proud of, and I can put on the screen here, jaw dropping
scandal, bites Pukinakua rams. The new thing since yesterday is that we have updated the headshot
for Pukinakua, and he is now a shark. If anyone had a better idea, I'm all ears, but the cool thing
is I used to ask someone to help me with this, but now there's this Gemini Nano Banana,
where they can just go to Gemini and say, hey, Gemini, can you make a Pukinakua a shark
for player profiler? I didn't do anything. That is an AI image. I just want people to know
how easy it is to do AI if you're like, oh, like AI. It's not for me, man. It seems complicated,
or I have a philosophical position against it. I'm over it, man. It was so easy. I'm over it.
So that was my little dabble with AI. It was the Pukinakua's headshot, and I'm proud of that,
and what's going on with this guy, man? He seems to make this a bad decision. I don't think
I'll ever be in a position where I'm particularly close to getting $180 million contract in my life.
Hey, if things change, that would be good. That would be good to hear. But if I am, I'm just not
leaving my apartment. I'm locking the door. I'm like ordering in a home gym on Amazon where I can
work out in the morning. I'll get like postmates or whatever it is, like one of those companies that
ships food to my house so I can make my meals. Otherwise, I'm not leaving. I'm not hanging out with
people. I'm not going near cameras. I'm on a strict indoor quarantine regimen until my agent
calls me and is like, okay, we just need your signature on the $180 million contract. Please
meet me and sign here. Unbelievably bad timing. We get the JSN contract. Pukin is about to
lock himself in to over $40 million a year, and we do this. Not the first time that he's been
loosely associated with anti-Semitism in the last 12 months. There's also been a video that came
out last night that I saw. Did you see the TMZ video? I haven't seen the actual video yet. I've
only seen the photo. There was a video not of the biting. Get your hat out of the gutter. There's
no video of the biting, but there's a video of per TMZ, which like, I don't know, TMZ is
reliable as you want it to be. It's not exactly Walter Cronkite, but it's probably something.
Per TMZ, the video is shot after the alleged biting, and it features Puka like a sleep,
like seemingly passed out from having had too much to drink, while a woman is like twerking
in his face. So I'm not totally sure whether or not he is like a predator or an idiot. I kind of
lean idiot, but like definitely idiot, like simply hang out with not the people that you want to
be hanging out with. I'm putting yourself at a position of skepticism. For my fantasy perspective,
I'm not really expecting him to get suspended. It doesn't seem like there's a ton here. I would
definitely lower him to the back of whatever tier he's in, but I'm not biting into a new tier.
If it's like, I would say like, I was like, Puka, JSN, Puka, JSN. Now I'm going to be like,
I'm going to go with the guy who's not accused of anti-Semitic slurs and biting women.
Like, I'll just go with JSN. Am I going to move Puka behind Amon Ross St. Brown? No, not yet.
Not yet. No. Remember, there was an incident with Christian Kirk when he was very young,
where he was throwing rocks at police cars at the waste management invitational in Phoenix. Bad
decision. That's another thing. If you're going to be in line for a big cut, don't go to the
waste management invitational in Phoenix. No one's ever once been sober there. Yeah, that is a notorious
party event. Yeah. And if you say, yeah, stay away from the big party events, but that was
a bad decision. 10 years ago, we didn't have as much information as we have now about CTE.
Now, no, the reason why this is actually a real, substantive story, especially for dynasty,
is now have more information about CTE that it is often a precursor is the erratic behavior.
And so we've also heard him talk about early retirement at age 30. This is something that he's
kicked around. I don't think it was on the same stream where he was going full Mel Gibson.
But there's there's some signs that he's not necessarily planning to have a long career. And
then you start to see these strange behaviors. It's it's the Christian Kirk example is a little
more understandable where hey, I'm with some buddies. We're intoxicated and we think something
would be fun and it's really not fun. Here, we start to see something that seems a little more
unhinged and a little more of a potential psychological problem than that. We don't know the bottom
line is this is a there's a measure of risk now with Pukinakua in dynasty. It's not it's not
big, right? It's not something where he's going to change tears. In fact, we talked about this
being a you know, fundamentally, this is typically a buying opportunity, but it is real. It's a real
substantive data point that does affect his dynasty value albeit very little, but it's something
to think about as something to monitor as something to consider. And I'm disappointed that more people
aren't talking about it because it's one of those things where hey, it doesn't pay to talk about
these things. You can risk getting shadow banned if you start to mention these things and it's like,
hey, we're going to talk about the things we want to talk about, right? We could all be doing other
things. You're a full-blown lawyer. You could take some high-paying legal job in Vancouver or Toronto
or you could do what you're doing and you're doing what you're doing because you love it and you
love talking about it in full. That's why I love having you on the show right now because I'm like,
I know Jacob is going to give the real talk on this whereas other people might be well, you know,
this is not something I really feel comfortable discussing. No, no, no, no. It actually it has some
marginal fantasy football consequences and that's the context and the prison through which we're
looking at this and talking about this and I think it's perfectly fine and it's also perfectly fine
to poke some fun at it. This isn't the most serious accusation that's ever been there's certainly
been very serious accusations levied at football players in particular. This isn't one of them
and so we can have some fun with the headshot on player profiler and some cheeky headlines
and it sports and it's fun and I'm happy to be here.
If we knew more about our sleep, what would we do differently? Would we go to bed at a consistent time
or take steps to reduce interruptions to our sleep with sleep score? Apple Watch measures your
bedtime consistency interruptions and sleep duration then every morning it combines these
factors into an easy to understand score from one to a hundred so you'll know how to take the

Jagermeister at zero degrees Fahrenheit ice cold like those frozen cavemen they find which makes
you wonder what would a caveman think of Jagermeister well if you served it warm he'd probably
throw it in your face say and storm off and nobody wants that so drink it cold or not at all.
Jagermeister damn that's cold drink responsibly Jagermeister LaCure 35% alcohol by volume imported by
mass Jagermeister US white planes New York. I mean the last thing I'll mention on this and I
like I don't know this is conspiracy corner I have no inside information oh here we go here we go
Pukinaku is a lot better than your average day three pick and these are the types of things that
like if you're wondering why didn't why didn't his college coaches ever get him to run all the routes
you know like he was really good on a per out basis why didn't he play all the time at college
why did he transfer multiple colleges why why did he go on day three despite being this talented like
there's there's a certain other wide receiver who was a lot better on a per out basis than his
other program who played it a weirdly small program who was drafted on day three and became a
multi-time pro baller and is no longer in the national football league like you start to wonder
that player's name is Antonio Brown by the way just so everybody knows that that's Antonio Brown
was a Florida resident and he ended up playing at Central Michigan.
Central Michigan. So if you move from Florida to Michigan that's not your first choice.
It's not it's not your first choice yet but there's been other players like that that have fallen
for whatever reason starting it during the high school recruiting process I had fell out of
favor there and then dropped in the NFL draft because of it Tyree kill there's been there's been
there's a lot of examples where these players paid off handsomely in fact if you bought the scandal
if you were a scandal buyer on Tyree kill you were paid handsomely in dynasty.
Definitely I mean I'm not worried about it in the short term right like I think Puka's
going to play in 2026 he's going to probably play all the games he's healthy for in 2026
my attitude with any of these types of guys and Rashi Rice being an example is like
I've been I've been kind of like this on him in my dynasty rankings while the market has
done a lot of this and at various times I've either been the high guy on Rashi Rice or I'm the
low guy and at the times where I'm the low guy it's like he's going out there he's catching 11 passes
for 62 yards on a weekly basis you know piling up the PPR points and and I'll often get asked you
know hey why aren't you moving Rashi Rice up and I legitimately have told by subscribers like
I have a permanent two-tier idiot doc on Rashi Rice I'm like wherever I would rank him based
on how he's producing right now you just slide him down you just slide him down because I don't
I don't think he's reliable decision maker and with him a different way different tier than Puka
because he's in a spot where like at any moment in time he commits a fairly minor crime and he's
actively on probation so so and that goes for four and a half more years so you know you you
he he makes a mistake and it's not it's not a small issue it's it's a you go to jail issue
so it's it's a your dietest the asset goes to zero issue so he's it's a spot where
right now I'm I'm totally fine buying Puka um and whenever there's issues with rice that are at
the forefront I'm usually buying him too but it's one of those things where when nobody's talking
about it when you're just enjoying the fantasy points it's that little thing in the back of your
head where like if no one else is factoring it in and you can you know maybe just bring it down
maybe for rice it's like 15% and for Puka it's more like 2% but like maybe that comes for
a cum six it's just it's something to keep in mind that like you're betting on a person you're
betting on a human being and and some human beings are are more reliable decision makers than
others and this is all within the context of the wide receiver position yeah what a behaviorally
volatile position in sports where you have this spectrum of Ray Karuth was a wide receiver okay
Henry Ruggs wide receiver right so you had this at a spectrum then you have the the biting right
it's it's in everywhere in between you have wide receivers acting erratically illegally
and just the whole spectrum just in that one position whereas other positions are like
what are they doing in the wide receiver room like what is happening this is these people are
crazy right so speaking of rashi rice and i'm with you on rashi rice i agree with you uh just
he has a permanent discount in the dynasty rankings at player profiler as well and can you tell
people where to find your sub stack yeah it's it's just my i mean my name is the url jacob sander
send us up stack calm it's called thinking about thinking you can find the link in my twitter you
can find the link on google wherever you look and uh and you can find uh and you can and you can
find my dynasty rankings bestball rankings all all through the sub stack and it's jacob with a
k it's jacob with a k it's very important very important so news item just came out patrick my homes
way ahead of schedule oh shocking wait it's march and then i felt players had a schedule i mean he's
way ahead i mean he has he has way ahead i mean he i mean there's no one that's further ahead
like i think we have that uh we have that here right don't we have that here i think we have that
here patrick my homes news right on player profiler boom he's way ahead of schedule man he book him for
week one right i mean it looks more likely i i've been i've been a little bit bearish on the way
ahead of schedule a lot i mean we get everybody's ahead of schedule in march oh has anyone ever
been behind schedule in march oh my league neighbors might be behind schedule um but but everyone
everyone else is ahead of schedule um i'm i'm a little bit leery um i haven't been as into my homes
uh in in seasonal drafts uh in donnocy it's not i don't think it's really much to worry about i
mean if he starts week one if he starts week three it's like you know who cares um i i probably
care more for rishi rice right i mean any games that he plays with Justin fields when right on the
bench um so i probably even care a little bit more for the weapons but i i'm sorry i laughed i
saw the comment moments so far ahead he's already played week one yeah yeah uh i'm minding a little
bit i'm minding a little bit i i've been on the pessimistic end of the spectrum but if anyone
if anyone is going to do this quick of an ac altair turnaround like patrick moans would be the one
i would bet on right he's he's a beast he's an alien he's of the he's the point one percent of the
point one percent uh so it's it's it's it's certainly plausible i'm i'm i'm not sure
how effective he'll be but we'll we'll see i mean i i'm excited i'm excited to watch him battle
through this he is the quarterback Adrian Peterson potentially yeah right i mean it would make sense
yeah we have to leave it open so normally i'm very uh declarative about these things like no
he's not going to be ready for week one right that's a lie uh don't believe any of this this is
smoke city like every in this particular case you're right the the alien factor makes me pause
and say okay there is a a chance that this is an Adrian Peterson situation and we need to act
accordingly and plan accordingly and you know buying washi rice is just it's it's it's a rational move
it's a rational move at this point this would be the time to do it like rot rochie rice he has it
he had the this what was another a month ago there there was another allegation i and there's smoke
on you know maybe they they they draft a wide receiver pick nine there's the patrick mohomes injury
issues Travis Kelsey just signed a contract to come back like rot rochie rice is what he is
and i think he's a rough buy when people project him to be more than that but whenever all of the
risk factors of rochie rice are are flaring up that that's when you that's when you look around
that's when you send offers so this this would be the window to do it if you're going to do it
and i agree on the alien factor like certain caliber of athletes and in particular on on certain
team timelines right the chiefs they want it this is potentially Kelsey's last year i don't know
how many more years Chris Jones has left like this is home is going to be very motivated to try and win
this year and i i think he's pretty realistic about the chances the chiefs have to win games
without him on the field and if i'm patrick mohomes i'm looking at this i'm like i don't want to
miss three weeks because we're going to be o and three you know i don't want to be coming back
my first start off at acl needing to win eleven out of my fourteen stars to get to get the seven
seed you know i i need a chance to warm up a little bit i mean i think of my guy Jason Tatum right
he's another guy not as accomplished as mohomes but like one of the best players in the NBA
on a team that has a legitimate chance to win the title and he was consistently saying no i'm coming
back i'm playing this year i'm i'm playing this year i'm going to play at the end of the regular
season i'm going to play in the playoffs and people are like no i don't think so it's like no
this this guy's a little bit different right he's the point one of the point one and he did
and he's playing and you know he's going to be there in the playoffs and so i can i can see it
with mohomes where if you're if you're the upper upper upper echelon of the upper echelon a hall
of fame level talent you're on a team that needs you're on a team that has realistic super bowl aspirations
i'm not writing it off i'd write it off for ninety nine percent of athletes but i'm not writing
it off for him that's right well i want to do a service for people right now if you don't mind
i think we can do this together and we keep talking we could keep on rounding around on these teams
talking about who the rb2's are because the rb because this is where you extract so much value
it's just understanding the depth chart understanding uh the contingencies the role contingencies
especially with backfields around the NFL so i think that no matter what the team is no matter
what the uncertainty level is or the give a shit factor on that particular team i think we just
go and we go down we'll do thirty two teams right now just an impromptu segment we're going to go
through every team and their depth chart and look at and and we'll just call out the rb2 and we'll
say whether or not this is someone you should be drafting uh in bestball all right 20 round 18 round
bestball uh is this guy a consideration in bestball and is he a consideration to for as a dynasty
stash and we'll we'll talk about you know uh medium to deep dynasty leagues okay not did not
40 players deep but you know 26 28 player deep rosters taxi squad of caliber players i saw the
show sheet last night i was looking through this and there were so many teams where i was scanning
and i was like yeah oh my god you're right who the f is going to be the rp2 on this team and and
i started to think about why and you know the legendary 2017 running back class right it's gotten a
lot of topic a lot of talking points about that class and dynasty over the years and if you look
around the league it's basically just Christian McCaffrey now right Leonard foreignat long gone
gone sorry dolphin cook is gone now year in Tampa though that that year that sleeper year in Tampa
that was nice he yeah he came back and that but now he's gone the elephant cook is gone uh
austin echelor is now gone erin jones james conner like hanging on for dear life they're like
clawing they have one claw left on the cliff as as they're about to fall into the abyss um
joe mixtam is probably gone um you know maybe maybe he gets like one more year of late stage
eleat level whatever alvin cameras basically cooked um so james conner i mean basically this whole
class that just dominated fantasy for years the only one left who's a real asset is christian
McCaffrey and every other back is either it involuntarily retired um or they're like maybe scratching
and clawing for eight points per game this year if they wish to continue their careers the 2018
class outside of sequan barkley mostly sucked right we had sony michelle bust Rashad penney
bust Ronald jones bust carry on johnson bust nick chub awesome but gone too soon for mingery um
and so they're none of them are left 2019 class sucked it's just just Jacobs everyone else is done
so you have these these veteran classes that are out we don't have any those guys anymore
and it would be the perfect time for a new running back class to come in and take on all these
maybe some rb1 jobs but especially the rb2 jobs unfortunately this year's class stinks it's
stinks it's terrible so if you have this very interesting option where so many of these rb2 jobs
i'm like you're marking for insert round four rookie but then i'm like who because because half
of these rookies are terrible so i do think we're gonna have a lot of depth charts where you just
have guys that at any other time would not be rb2's but we have this weird setup where all these
veterans are leaving us and there's just not enough new players quite ready to come in and see
you're gonna have some guys who are going to have opportunities they otherwise wouldn't have had
and it's gonna make for really interesting dynasty stashes it also makes me want to draft my
running backs early this year um in in current drafts because you know in august when we know who
the rb2's are gonna be here we have a better idea i'm more interested right now i'm looking at
this i'm like i could guess whether a marie de marcato is actually the rb2 in kansas city
or i could just take insert wide receiver who's gonna go day two with my 19th round pick and you
know make sure i have my four running backs earlier so i don't have to deal with the question of a
marie de marcato versus george halani you know that's the difference with best ball versus manage
leagues and manage leagues you can play that game you can constantly churned based on the realities
on the ground any given week you can't do that in best ball because you can't do that in best balls
a fundamental aspect of best ball knowing your limitations during the year and your limitations
in terms of you know being able to project the opportunity share for a backfield in the absence
of the starter then you have to kind of build your strategy around that uh when in incentivizes us
taking guys like a christian mccafry it was funny you mentioned christian mccafry because we we
had just had the alien conversation it's like yeah yeah all these years where there's like one or
two running backs maybe that you can point to and then there's christian mccafry and he's as old
as any of them but he's the alien he's the guy that's still at the top of his game and the other
guys aren't even in the league that is what it means to be an alien to be a sports alien that's
what that means and that was the best setup of a segment in the history of the show and I didn't even
do it and I love it I love it I mean that was I mean what I know I was just going right into it
and you're like hold on give me a let's set this up pod let me provide the preface of all
prefaces that my my opening argument my opening salvo for this is going to really set the stage
for the listener and boy this is why you're on so many podcasts you're on the the dynasty points
podcast right uh you're you're you're on ship chasing like there's I just want to make sure people
know where to find you because you're that good at this so buffalo bills will start with the
AFC East buffalo bills who is there RB2 well the the running back will play the second most
snaps is tie Johnson but the RB2 you want to draft is Ray Davis do you want to draft Ray Davis
really though like if I have to yeah because he's he's the classic example of a guy where
the setup is the exact same as last year and he was going at like 150 but then James Cook didn't
get hurt so now he's going at 200 but nothing changed for any Davis like he he's still useless
if James Cook is healthy and he's he has a chance to be an RB2 if James Cook's not healthy so I
I like that he is now in the range of completely free backup whereas before he was in the range
of premium backup and he was never worth being a premium backup but as like as a token RB2
yeah sure if you if you happen to be running back in the 20th round you could do worse than Ray Davis
can we just do that was perfect can we just I'm sorry that was so I I don't have a response
that was perfect old school we're just going to Miami Dolphins all right I think I think it's
allie Gordon I'm like 71% sure it's allie Gordon what do you think are you on allie or jelen
right or on door number three I'm all in on allie Gordon I think allie Gordon's okay so okay
that's my my perspective is allie Gordon allie Gordon allie Gordon I think actually really
as opposed to Ray Davis allie Gordon is a player you know best comparable to Tyler Algear 2000 yard
rusher in college fell in the draft because you know he had a bad season and there there were
suspicions that he was playing hurt that he was clashing with coaches all the reasons why football
players have bad seasons and then whenever we saw him in the game it was like oh wow this guy
offers a really cool thunder element to this offense I really like it and sure jelen right came
in at the very end of the year when the games were out of hand the team was out of hand the coaches
was on the head of foot out the door no one cared it was tank time this this team is a famous
tanking organization there aren't too many teams in sports that have lost first round draft picks
because they their owner bribed the coach allegedly is that allegedly or is that proof I don't know
you're the lawyer but we'll just say allegedly to pay the coach to lose games on purpose and then
the pick that you got from that was then taken away from you because of the scandal so that was
a really cool full circle moment for the dolphins anyway they end up with allie Gordon in the sixth
round last year and I think that was a steal and this is a priority ad in dynasty to try to get a
hold of this guy as a throw in reverse engineer a little deal to get him the question I have for
you is is he worth adding drafting in best ball at all yes yeah I've been taking allie Gordon okay
I'm not maybe quite as high on the talent as you but I do think there's upside here and he has a
lot of outs you know he's he's he's a vessel for a new coaching staff to emphasize because there's
two ways you can set a culture as a new staff you can win and they're not going to do that so so they
have to choose door number two which is to prove how how tough and manly you are and allie Gordon is
the type of vessel through which to perform your masculinity and so you might go four and thirteen
but you can say I've gave fifteen carries to allie Gordon and he made linebackers'
shoulders sore today and that's that's how we show our our progress as an organization
and that's the kind of thing that boomer coaches love to do and like Jeff Hathley came from the
Packers they loved handing the ball to Josh Jacobs 300 times the last time we saw Bobby Sloughock
call plays they gave the ball to Joe Mixon 300 times you know that's that's allie Gordon is like
dollar value version of the Joe Mixon Josh Jacobs archetype of of four yards in a cloud of dots
so I think they could give him the rock plenty next to HN they could maybe trade HN they could shut
down HN with a mysterious ankle injury with five weeks to go because they're one in eleven
there's there's a whole lot of options for allie Gordon to to work into the mix this year

details k-pop demon hunters haja boys breakfast meal and huntrix meal have just dropped at McDonald's
they're calling this a battle for the fans what do you say to that roomy it's not a battle
so glad the sahja boys could take breakfast and give our meal the rest of the day it is an honor
to share no it's our honor it is our larger honor no really stop you can really feel the
respect in this battle pick a meal to pick a side buh buh buh buh buh
I participate in McDonald's while supplies last okay that's the answer yeah what about the patriots
it's like oh what is the actual answer this is this is interesting one the RV 2 to start the year
will be trevy on Henderson um and I think the RV 2 to finish the year will be Rabadre Stevenson
there's no late running back draft here i mean they have their two running backs and and i
think if one gets hurt the other just the other is just the steel um but i don't i don't know
that there's a late round guy here i think it's just Ramandra Stevenson isn't it yeah i think we
have to we have to give Henderson the benefit of the doubt that as a top 40 pick who is supposedly
good in past protection that they're gonna give him every opportunity this offseason to grow
into that role and to be playing be in the backfield first snap of week one you have to think it's
gonna be Henderson right we have to i i don't think it's gonna be first snap of week one i think he'll
i think it'll be i think first snap first game we're seeing 38 out there but i think it will
but i think Henderson will it won't be like it was in the playoffs for Henderson's getting like
five carries he'll he'll have a real role and a chance to prove himself and i think if he proves
himself he'll he'll win the role over time but i i think variable is old school i think he'll
be like Ramandra was our guy in the playoffs he performed he he deserves the deference to get
the first snap i so this is why like in bestball right in bestball i'm more into Henderson than
dynasty because in bestball you have to lock in your price before the season starts and then
you're stuck with it you can't you can't go back and trade in week nine um and get a better price
so i think i think the long arc of history will be fine to travel on Henderson
but i think in september a lot of dynasty managers are gonna be like oh my god what am i in for
what am i in for okay take my Henderson shares so i'm i'm not i'm not overpaying right now for
ended i i'll i'll i'll take him if someone wants to sell me cheap but i i think we get a buy
window on Henderson in september if we want i think you're gonna have to white knock all that a little
bit you're so right though you're so right i mean i was thinking about you know the the
coach x scenario the average NFL coaching staff and how they would probably treat this back field
but this is variable and variable is gonna say hey henderson's our guy once we give stevenson his
veteran deference remember when they drafted will levis top the second round first pick the second
round and everyone knew maliquilus was over in their organization but they still when tanahil
got hurt they still went to willis first because they were like he's the guy we have to give him
the chance to fail they still let willis play ahead of levis and then willis was terrible then
they let levis play and he was also terrible but but there was like no reason to do that like
everyone knew that it was tanahil and then it was levis but they still had to just
definitely give willis that first opportunity i i think that's the that's it we'll see from
rabel teams new york jets ooh um brit brylon alan i think it's brylon alan do you think brylon alan
is worth drafting is worth adding in any format he's he's fine as a late round bestball guy but i
think i think people overrate brylon alan because he looks like bow jackson but he doesn't he's
never actually like been that good since his freshman season at scawson so i i'm not really a
brylon alan guy are you guys bring one alan guys he's comparable to jordan howard jordan howard
had like a thirteen hundred yard season though it's true i mean we're talking about a player that
could put up huge rushing numbers if given the opportunity and the the the passing
game skills the receiving skills are still up in the air i don't know do you have does does
anyone know can anyone see any kind of certainty like whether or not this guy's a great receiver
or not i mean he had two catches last year in four games he had nineteen catches in seventeen
games a year before that in college let's see in college he had a total of like forty nine fifty
catches yeah so fifty catches in three years he did have twenty eight in his final season
they've been less than committed to breeze hall in new york and part of that has to be brylon alan
i like brylon alan i would say it are you brylon alan guys i would say yes i would say it player
profiler we are brylon alan guys but not at the level of like an oligord okay i'm fine with that
because i think there's potential there for him to be an all purpose back and that is exciting
yeah i i i think oligordan has more receiving versatility than alan i know he had the twenty eight
catches but he had like four yards per catch that year he has functional hands like he's not he's
not tank bigsby um but it's he's not he's never playing on a third and eight you're now it's
never going to be third and eight you look at who's in the backfield it's brylon alan oh there's a
minute fifty four left in the game they're down by three brylon alan's in the backfield he's never
in the backfield no i agree with that but i think these are both good i think gordan and alan are
both good stashes i like to stockpile my bench and dynasty with running backs just like these guys
especially on teams that are viewed as low scoring because then the the rb2 gets even less
sort of less enthusiasm and then suddenly they change the quarterback they change the coach they
upgrade the offensive line suddenly everything changes you know injuries so there's so much
volatility with the running back position backfields that it matters less the offensive context
that they're in for a wide receiver like a rashi rice whether it's mahalms or justin fields is
everything but the team you're on is not everything when you're running back it matters a lot it's
certainly matters a lot but and when you're projecting for this season seasonal leagues for sure big
factor dynasty less of a factor Baltimore um this one is interesting i think that they will draft
the running back yes i know that i know there's not a lot of great options but i i think that they
there was there were already questions of whether they might let justice hill go as a cap casualty
i think for now he's remaining on the team especially since they lost the max crossby uh
salary cap hit he's also more of a specialist they let keep Mitchell walk i think they're going to draft
a true early down back who's going to be the rb2 and potential derrick Henry successor um this this
draft so i'm going to say rookie to be named later for Baltimore cool yeah i mean i i don't know
what else to say except it's not machine i'll leave like that that's not happening yeah it's uh it's
irrelevant and and it's i don't even know if it's worth adding any of these guys in dynastie or in any
format at all i just think it's uh it's it's a wait and see they're gonna draft somebody right yeah
they're gonna draft somebody who do you well what round do you think they'll draft a running back four
or five like that early day three okay all right who would you like it to be who do you think it
would be a good complement for because i'm thinking maybe they they draft a replacement to keep
Mitchell going to go to the satellite back well i think i think you want Baltimore similar to
washington what you care about the most i think are the physical traits with Baltimore because you're
gonna have numbers advantages anytime you're playing running back next to Lamar Jackson so you want a
guy who can hit the hole in the zone read fast and can maximize it even if they may be struggling
with some of the subtleties of the position you can get by um you know you think of like a deandre
swift with philly or a mile sander's with philly guys who are athletic but there's vision questions
they they were able to kill it in that spot next to jelen hurt so give me nicks singleton for
for the Baltimore Ravens oh i love that bangles um i i think that probably i think they probably
just take with p-run right i know i know who's who's like disgusting i know but is is useful like he
has fantasy relevant skills if forced into volume i like toge brooks i am not sure toge brooks
is going to be the rb-2 there that is my issue i don't think you will i think that they
this is a team that passes more than anyone else and the most important thing to this team is
can you protect jo burrow and they know some jp-run can protect jo burrow and so i i think we
toge brooks's best chance would be like you know the box situation last year buck he goes down
and shantokker is the more talented back but rashad white's the back that they trust and so because
buck he was out for so long eventually taker got to overtake him but at buck he only been out for
three weeks we basically never even see shantokker i i think if chase brown was to go down for the year
toge brooks would starts with five caries then it's seven caries then it's nine caries and if he
looks good he becomes the guy over time but i think it's like you know chase brown's questionable
one week they decide to sit him down okay we just got to get through this game
samajay you're you're playing 81% of the snaps buddy and we're passing it with a
17% PRO he this is one of those we have to monitor camp if if there are positive reports from
k we're talking about a 1500 yard russia two seasons in a row in college with above average size
justice athleticism i like toge brooks longer term he is a guy i am actively seeking more than
braille and alan in dynasty i would rank them gordon so far that we've talked about i would rank
them uh gordon and then brooks and then alan in terms of who i who i want to stash prioritize
on my taxi squad and again i just as i said it now i'm pulling it away it would the main reason is
the team just as i said this is not it's not as much of but it is a factor it is a force it's a
factor that joe burrow is going to be there for the next 10 years and that's part of the appeal of
Taj brooks it is it's not nearly as big of a deal as it is in seasonal leagues but it is it is the
it is the factor i think that we would put brooks ahead of a guy like braille and alan in all formats
right now but in bestball like you said i you can't draft him i can't draft brooks it's too much
it's too much uncertainty because we because it's probably going to be p-run if if they need a
starter in the event of an injury to chase brown which we really hope doesn't happen all right so
cleveland browns don't stand still that's easy who samson that's easy yeah i don't know why i don't
i i didn't know you something weird happened where uh i thought that you said something else
uh what did you think i said i don't know i don't even know i don't know i didn't know this
happened to me in a restaurant once and it led to some really funny chaos where uh a you know
we were out with a couple and body of mind his wife and he ordered something and he's a
typically a good order you know people that are good at ordering yeah so he's a good order yeah he's
a notoriously good order i don't think notorious is the right word for that he's a famously good
order uh renowned so i said i i i i turned to the i turned to the the waiter and i said same as him
and he didn't think i he the the waiter thought i said the sesame salmon hmm so then like he
ordered some kind of whatever was a staker something i'm like excited for this and then i get
the sesame salmon and i'm like what what what and then and then everyone at the table was like
that's what you ordered dude and i'm like i didn't order that i said same as him
well i'm sticking with Dylan Samson and i like Dylan Samson he's he's a guy i would be drafting
because you have you have not only is he a locked in rb2 he's an rb2 that can play in the past game
and you have injury questions with juggins so even though the environment sucks i think i think
that you can talk yourself into samson oh Dylan Samson is a smash in all formats yeah Dylan
Samson is a guy that you know even in a in a more shallow bestball format like the rabbit and fast
draft Dylan Samson's an incredible option yeah right Dylan Samson it is going to be had standalone
value week in week out and then he was the leading SEC rusher before he came to Cleveland so even
though he's only 200 pounds we're in a different world now we're a 200 pound running back can be
a workhorse in the league where they weren't really workhorse is 20 years ago they certainly are now
and so he has workhorse potential standalone back potential but we're talking about like 80 80
percent opportunity share because he can do it all and then yes this whole offseason to develop
i mean it's very exciting yeah so i mean i whenever whenever i see whenever i see him get drafted in
the rabbit i'm like oh yeah that's that's nice that's a good that's a good spot to get him because
in bestball these guys that have some standalone value as receivers getting at least say 40 percent
of the snaps then you never know when game script is going to push them into prominence and they're
going to and they're going to go for 20 plus fancy points well and on the browns you you know it's
going to happen frequently exactly exactly yeah so he's i would bet that he plays more snaps
than Judkins in the second half of like half their games this year right just because they're
going to be trailing so frequently yeah i mean i think it's i think it's i think it's i think it's
a total smash so so yeah he's in a different tier like we're talking Samson's up here yeah he's
easily easily the best one that we've discussed so far of these clear rbs here and then we've
got gorg and these other guys we talked about below that yeah stillers well this one's fun because
it's really it's really about who's the rb1 and i think i think it's going to be i think it's
going to be close to a 50 50 split last year was weird for jalen warren because he'd always been a
passing down sky and he was a great one and i think they envisioned last year we're okay Caleb
johnson's going to be the rb2 in a way that like Blake quorum is the rb2 where he he's kind of a
non-traditional rb2 in that karen does all the satellite back stuff but they carve out like 40% of
the starting role basically for quorum and i think that's what they envisioned but then they got
the camp and they were like wow let's kill them johnson kids sucks if we don't we don't want to play
this guy this is not the this is not what we thought we bought and then they were like this gain
well guys actually better than our expectations and so they kind of reoriented their backfield
where they're like okay warren can do everything so we're going to put them into this kind of
odd role for him which is as an early down grinder um and then we're going to use gain well and
pass it down because that's he's more limited than warren so we'll we'll use him in that role
they let gain will walk they bring in doubtful who can do a bit everything but is more of an early
down guy so i i think that the idea is they'll split the rushing pretty close evenly with warren
getting back his passing down stuff um so i'll say warren's the more valuable guy overall
and doubtals the rb2 but i think it'll be pretty darn close i mean doubtal yeah he's he's great
everywhere i mean reco doubtal like he could be he could be a christian macafry level workhorse
if he wanted to be if he could be i'm sure he wants to be he definitely wants to be you can
definitely tell he wants to be he's super hungry he's kept himself in great shape i mean
he was one of these guys in Dallas where they'll play this game if you get hurt in camp
and they feel like you're not going to be a big contributor they'll just season ending ir you
even if you'll be ready by week seven they're just saying no we want to stash you for next year
we don't see much of a role for you this year and so that happened him in Dallas he lost seasons
because of this and through these leg injuries hip injuries whatever it is he kind of persevered
persevered persevered then you look up and you watch him on carolina and he is explosive he is
a tackle breaker he is everything you would want he has size five eleven two fifteen this is a
player that i think it's just simply better in almost every way actually warren's metrics are
always off the charts he's consistently one of the top guys the NFL in this tackles force yards
after contact per attempt and hell and held that up last year as a feature runner in a way that we
didn't know if he could when he was more of a satellite back and he's always proven to be a really
efficient and effective receiving back the only thing we've never seen with warren is that he
doing everything at the same time and i wish that he would have gotten that chance this year he won't
now the rico is there but i still think he's gonna have a pretty significant role i think they're
both gonna have i think it's gonna be pretty much a fifty fifty which is annoying i like both
these guys i wish to each had their own backfield but i i don't know i think that they're too good for
either to just be displaced in in in both areas you have yards created per touch uh
doubt it'll top fifteen last year as a runner mostly and then in the passing game yards per
route run one point three two is number twelve on player profiler so they both have great advance
metrics one guy is just a little bit bigger and fits the the role of a primary back as you mentioned
a little bit better than jalen warren who is certainly his his efficiency comes more in the passing
game and it's it's actually a very good one two punch that they have now in pittsburg with with
doubt and in warren it's it's a much better configuration of talent and then the question is what
becomes of kale of johnson and we're talking about another another lost season for kale of johnson
is really what this means and this could be fine you have a history of running backs that were
mothballed for a couple years uh riko doubt all himself yeah and then suddenly they get the
opportunity and oh they were good all along and so i'm not necessarily going to go out and say hey
they've assessed kale of johnson correctly and he stinks not willing to go there based on especially
what he didn't college which was really impressive so i think he is a very good stash regardless
i think he is going to be very easy to attain in dynasty because it's a bad team and the
depth chart is stacked against him so he's another guy that i'm making a priority to get him on
rosters in dynasty i know i don't but my rosters can't can't fit all these running backs but that's
the beauty of it when you go to engage then that's one of the great values of this conversation
is that when you go to engage another team and trade they're probably going to have one or two
of these guys that we've talked about and you can go ahead and and and essentially go shopping
to build out your bench and your taxi squad with upside running backs that can help you actually
win matchups yeah the stealers are interesting i mean they're they're one of the few teams that have
more running backs than they need most of these backfields are barren um you know some don't even
have an rb1 most don't have a good rb2 and the stealers have have three interesting capable running
backs on their team uh uh yeah johnson undraftable and seasonal leaks completely undraftable
and seasonal leaks uh but he he's definitely a guy where if you're negotiating and trade in dynasty
and you you happen to scan like i these guys are guys you don't make offers for individually
because it it offends people right like you go to someone who drafted Caleb johnson at the 111
last year and you're like hey can i have Caleb johnson i'm offering my three 12 for him and that
person if they get angry they get ornery or or it's like someone poking you i actually have a
different take on this okay i don't think it's more uh i don't think it's like an insult to i
don't think it's a sunk cost insult which is what you were saying i don't view it as a sunk cost
insult i view it more as tipping your hand you don't want to you don't want to tell the other party
negotiation how much you value the thing that has very little proof of value right so if something is
hard to value and it's all over the place and again if you pulled the league some people wouldn't
even want him at all it if you actually value that that piece you would never want to let them know
and so the way you conceal it is by making him a mere throw in as part of like a four player deal
you should have a list of guys like Caleb johnson we're just whenever you're negotiating a separate
trade you're just scanning the other guys roster for like do they have Caleb johnson there oh they do
okay i'm just gonna add him into this trade see if i can just get a free Caleb johnson throw in
and then see see whatever happens but yeah i agree you can't you can't just send an offer for
Caleb johnson because you're you're never gonna want to offer something that's actually worth
their while even a two player deal it's gonna be too obvious it has he has to be buried
right yes he has to be in the fine print Caleb johnson fine print he's in the terms and conditions
yes he's in the terms conditions in the the the person has to wake up the next morning and they're
like i thought i had Caleb johnson on this team oh i didn't read the fine print oh Caleb johnson
was in the trade Houston he's what he marks is the rb-2 and uh you like him
no i don't like what he marks he's he's the classic case of a guy who just needed a very specific
confluence of events to fall ass backward into touches and because he did he's he's being
i think way overvalued for what his profile is because he's like hey he can handle touches
because he handled touches but he he was he was a nothing burger in college he was a receiving
back wasn't even that efficient as a receiver he was a volume receiver he's a mic leech
receiver and then he got he got forced into volume due to joe mix and injuries
nick chub being cooked interesting decisions by the Houston organization to prioritize him over
running backs he can run the ball and then and then they they went out and they were like
we we can't abide this we're not even going to play the free agency game we need to pay up
for david maca Marie yeah it's not you if mottie gets hurt fine but there's there's several
he's no different than like ray davis but ray davis is free so just take just take him for free
it don't don't pay up for what he marks you can't you can't pay the same price as the other guy
it's just because the guy fell into opportunity last year and other guys did yeah so that's it
that's really it and he's not even as good as them he's actually he's actually worse
so yeah that that that's a fade put him on the block jaward Jordan is better than him
yeah that's the thing you can actually get something for him if you put him on the block
you get a second-rounder conceivably for sure there's there's still people that think it's
gonna be a 50 50 split or that think Marx is gonna win the job I don't I like I'm not like I don't
usually like david Montgomery types but I'm drafting the crap out of david Montgomery right here
I think he's a value do this year yeah I think he's gonna be an absolute workhorse yeah this
reminds me of like the first year the Josh Jacobs went to the packers yeah we're just just don't
overthink this man don't don't yeah don't and houston by bringing in david Montgomery was also
another signal about what he marks in his limitations right cults that's I mean I'm a cults fan
so this one's this one's close to home for me um they don't they don't love DJ Giddens
I like DJ Giddens as a prospect they gave him a chance to be the army too early in the year
he lost a job to a mere abdula which is never good if you lose your job to like 32-year-old
a mere abdula that's not a great signal for your standing with the team um and that's almost
entirely due to past protection because Jonathan Taylor led the NFL in snap rate last year he's
gonna leave the NFL in snap rate again this year so the job of a cults RB2 is not to run the ball
it's like Jonathan Taylor is gonna need to drink eight or eight for five snaps per game can you please
pick up a blitz in those five snaps and then Jonathan Taylor is gonna come back on the field
and and DJ Giddens couldn't and so they got frustrated with him and so they put out a veteran who
they knew could do that I think that they will I don't think there's anyone good enough in this class
and they don't have enough picks to prioritize running back and I don't know if DJ Giddens is
gonna be the RB2 on game day but if Taylor were to go down and the role of cults RB2 changes from
designated past protector for three snaps a game to you're getting the ball 15 times a game
I think they'll realize like DJ Giddens is a lot more juice than whatever a mere abdula
Tyler Goodson special teamer that they put out there to relieve Taylor right so it's a different
job so I'm still on Giddens for the actual RB2 but he's he's on thin ice he is like Taj Brooks
but there's no p-rine in Indianapolis that's the difference right he's like Taj Brooks if yeah
and he's he's also and I mean the biggest difference is like p-rine will actually play snaps
in normal games but like he would be like Taj Brooks but if p-rine was like a worse p-rine
and if chase brown played 98% of the snaps in regular games yeah it's it's it's not he's in
that class he's in that tier of value the watch for and the last thing you want to do is dismiss
a productive athletic running back because he struggled in past pro is a rookie which is
very predictable for these guys right yes no I'm not gonna I like Giddens I actually have a
minache ahead of of Brooks for that reason yeah talk about jaguars I mean I I think that the RB2
is Chris Rodriguez I believe in Vatial Tutan and I don't I think the Quint Allen is like
gets a little too much press I think he's I think he's the third down back so I think this one's
pretty simple I think Tutan is the guy that you can actually build but an offense around he's the
guy who profiles to be a three down back to be a in all purpose guy that you can use in various ways
and they brought in Chris Rodriguez because they don't know what they have in Vatial Tutan how can
you he barely played as a rookie so day three pick so they they Chris Rodriguez an insurance
policy where they're like if Tutan can't live up to what we want him to be Allen can't live up to
whatever people envision he can be we know Chris Rodriguez can run the ball and move forward
and keep our offense unscheduled but if Tutan shows up and he's everything they want him to be
why would you insert a guy who's way less versatile who's way less explosive who limits your
offense when you can play Baychal Tutan on all the early nouns you wouldn't well well you say
you wouldn't you say you wouldn't but we know they would these are NFL coaches they're happy to do
they're happy to they're happy to to telegraph what the hell they're doing if Liam Collin wanted
a running back who is an effective russia but is completely one-dimensional they wouldn't
have jettison tank pigs be away for a day three pick last year they already had that guy on their
that was a smart move and I love the word jettison there that's great and yeah I just I have concerns
because I've fallen for the banana tailpipe with this profile many times and so this is some
self-reflection and self-analysis by the pod father here and I am just working that muscle to try
to not get out over my skis on Tutan and if he gets to like you know fourth round pick yeah in
seasonal leagues I'm not doing it dude I'm not doing it you don't want to get over your skis I
mean I don't think that the I don't think the Jags have it set I think I think plan A is Tutan is
what we dreamy is the best the best version of this backfield is is the best version of Tutan
because he's the versatile guy who can let your offense do everything you want it to do but the
Jags don't know if they're gonna get the best version of Tutan and we don't know if they're
gonna get the best version of Tutan so I think it's totally plausible that if Tutan had if Tutan
has a year that's like the year RJ Harvey had last year where it's like we see flashes but we
also see issues and it's inconsistent then they're gonna want a chain mover and it's gonna be a
gross three way split but if Tutan comes out and he's fantastic then then we don't need Chris
Rodriguez anymore so it's it's about I don't think that the upside is cap but I think you have to
pick him at a price that calibrates the upside relative to the downside and I'm fine with him
where he's going right now which is the five six turn I agree with you the fourth round is
too expensive I can see it happen and man all it takes is like one camp blurb I love Tutan I'm
a Tutan guy but that doesn't mean I'm a Tutan guy you know at any price there's definitely a tap
out point and the fourth round would be I would tap out I prefer RJ Harvey I'll stick with Tutan
I like Tutan more than Harvey okay well that's that's sort of it's just my opinion man
Titans the RB2 is Tony Pollard actually know the RB2 is TaiJ Spears because they draft Jeremiah
love and they cut Tony Pollard that's the thing man you can spin your wheels on how the commanders
can get Jeremiah love and and why the giants aren't sold on cam scataboo and all these things and
it's just gonna be the Titans the Titans are teed up to pick him he's supposed to go there the
betting markets have him going there it's where he's going it it's it's gross to have him land there
socks for that team to draft a running back given their situation socks it's it's all terrible
but it's gonna happen and we I agree at some point we just need to get over it with Jeremiah love
he's going to Tennessee and that's it close the book on it and move on uh but it isn't great
that's all I'll say that's that's that's I think I think they take love that's that's that's
I'm with you on that me too yeah all right so and then yeah and then the the RB2 becomes Pollard
and but I don't think for long they're not gonna they they could cut him and save seven million
and I think they're I think if they take love they'll just cut Pollard and then Pollard goes
and ruin someone else's backfield oh right yeah then Paul then Pollard goes to Washington oh my
god he I mean I think Pollard will go to Washington or Seattle whoever whoever leaves the draft
without someone that they love oh they would yeah you would be good in Seattle because I could
I could so easily see Seattle they they don't take price you know super early they take like
Mike Washington and the third and everybody's really excited about that and then a week after the
draft the Titans release Tony Pollard he signs in Seattle and then you're like oh no you know I
just said my rookie draft it's like Mike Washington at the 110 he's a backup now to Tony Pollard
it seems like a lifetime ago that I was touting Tony Pollard that I bought a Tony Pollard shirt
oh we've been I have a Tony Pollard jersey in my room over there I could go get a
Tony Pollard on the Cowboys not a big fan of Tony Pollard on the Titans it's it's crazy being I've
never it's crazy seeing Tony Pollard as the old washed veteran like I've been through the full
cycle of Tony Pollard I've been we went from you know he's this obscure indie band to all the sudden
like oh he just signed on a major label oh no oh no pitchfork game before it's not as good as his
old stuff you know and now and now they're just it's like come see Tony Pollard live at the casino
he's playing the old heads he's like a band he's like a band where the lead guitarist left it's
like modest mouse they call themselves modest mouse but it's just the singer now everybody else is
out of the band one of them's dead other guys left for health reasons it's just it's just the singer
and he's like put on 20 pounds and and he's he's playing float on for like 800 people at the local
legion and that's Tony Pollard tight jeans and a Cowboys jersey yeah yeah that's perfect that's
Tony Pollard I can see him in the bar with the tight jeans in the in the acoustic guitar and and
the the Cowboys jersey that the Cowboys jersey is what I love so we we touched on the Broncos
there are B2 is is RJ Harvey is RJ Harvey technically and I like RJ Harvey a lot and he
kind of was 50 passes last year so I think there's potential for him to grow and grow the role
and seize that job but week one snap one probably JK Dobbins I think it's certainly I'm of two
minds with RJ Harvey because I mean you talk about the banana and the tailpipe and and the fear of
the I I really like them as a prospect it was really optimistic on them last year I love his skill
set for fantasy football yeah I love the idea of RJ Harvey I'm just I thought coming out
of last year they would be like look RJ wasn't perfect but he was a rookie we knew what we were
doing we were drafting out a UCF we got flashes and over the offseason he's going to put in the work
to tighten up some of the details improve the vision all that stuff and then we're going to see
the fully unleashed RJ RV I just it got me nervous that not only did they resign Dobbins but
they were in the mix for ETN they were in the mix for David Montgomery it you know it's
they didn't they didn't view Harvey's development as a priority and so you know the lucky thing is
it was only Dobbins he's he's a he's a roadblock but it's not like if they just if they sign
Travis ETN to the contract he got he's not a roadblock that that was the perfect signing for Harvey
it's he's yeah I mean Dobbins Dobbins is not so threatening that Harvey won't have a chance right
he's still going to get touched he's going to get opportunities I just don't know that Denver
is envisioning the Harvey takeover as part of the plan he I think he has to change the plan now I
believe in him to potentially do that so it's it's I'm of two minds about it I believe in Harvey
I don't believe that the Broncos believe in Harvey right now but they could change their mind
he's got all a camp but all preseason to change minds man Kansas City
Kansas City I legitimately think their Harvey too is like Amari de Mercado oh yeah yeah de Mercado
yeah sure I mean he'll he'll play I think Walker's going to play a ton and de Mercado is going to
play just the like the the very strict long down and distance snaps like third and 11 de Mercado's
out there but outside of that I think it's just Walker a lot of Walker are you overexposed to
Walker and Bestball yeah yeah yeah I'm I'm very in a locker I figured you were it's great it's great
call you're in a locker oh yeah oh yeah I've loved Walker forever the fact that he became a
receiving back in the NFL it's crazy is one of those super impressive feats that had basically
made me think that he walks on water yeah nice Las Vegas Raiders I mean I think Naji Harris
is probably the RV too probably I think that's right Naji Harris or or a Naji Harris-esque
individual super I did not I think Ashen Gentie is the best buy in dynasty right now thank you
we're in on gentie no one cares about the RB2 and I don't want to talk about the RB2 of the Raiders
it's all about gentie this is this is gentie season get out of here with RB2 talk of the Raiders
chargers chargers the the RB2 this is this is like the bill scenario the running back will play
the second most snaps I think is Keaton Mitchell the running back with the most contingent value
is commanding the doll I think Mitchell has his own role I think if Hampton went out you would
prefer to be on the doll yeah I mean I just I just don't think Mitchell can hold up to more than a
more than a limited role but I mean Mitchell's not even close to being like a primary back profile
no that's the thing he's very theoretical like this is not a guy that like you can see it if you
squint maybe right no no no he's never going to be a starting running back in the league he's
always going to be a guy that is nice to have and is electric in space and I agree with that but
come on even all I mean I'm not sure exactly why the chargers decided to do this and to throw
close to 10 million dollars at Mitchell it probably a harbock connection I think it's I think it's
just Mike McDaniel has a lot of of like candy plays in his playbook that Mitchell is going to be a
great fit for and I think that he will be like if you can bet I don't know where the line is for
this but if you could bet Keaton Mitchell to leave the NFL in yards per carry I would I would take
that that's nice I like like I think he's gonna I think he's gonna have like 70 carries and
they're he's gonna average six yards that's probably on calcium right now but it's on calcium I bet
you could he's he's gonna be he's he's gonna be a specific role player but I don't think that
that role change like Hampton's gonna be the workhorse and they're gonna have a package of plays
for Mitchell and if Hampton were to get injured then they still have a package of plays for Mitchell
but the doll becomes the workhorse I really like the doll man I really he looked good too and he's
he's one of these kids whenever you see a guy with the size in the athleticism and then he
grows into the role over a couple of years span I huge affinity for those players
and they tend to stick around too and and and again have the contingent upside have the trust
of the coaches he's gonna basically they're just gonna they're gonna they're gonna give Mitchell
an extra five touches in the absence of Hampton and then the rest of the the Hampton role just go
straight to Vidal that's what that is what that is what will happen Dallas Cowboys oh man there are
B2 I think is not yet on the roster and it will either be a day three pick or like a disgusting camp
cut like they they would also be a potential Naji Harris team I don't think it's Jaden blue I will
say there is a one and again this is only from many years experience doing this I would have been
quick to dismiss a Jaden blue and you know earlier but I've just seen some things man I've seen
some things I'm just missing Jaden blue and guys like Jaden blue they come into the league swaggery
missing meetings missing assignments and making enemies everything and then sometimes there is a
switch that gets flipped and sometimes there's not but there is a chance that this off-season Jaden
blue switch gets flipped and so I am buying him and stashing him for that reason and this is this is
the year if he I need to see really if I see a lot of the same stuff where he's in he's out he's
making mistakes but he looks good when he's out there he's clearly athletic they're trying to
give him chances but he's not fully delivering then it's it's over then whatever I can get formal
but I want to I want to stash him in case there's this leap that happens in both maturity and
understanding of the game and everything else it's it's possible we haven't seen that I know of
has there been like an intersection with law enforcement at all with Jaden blue their
hasn't right there's just a just a just a just a just a locker room knucklehead not really outside
the facility knucklehead yeah yeah he hasn't done anything villainous he just seems like a space
that's it yeah that's it so I like to get those guys one more chance one more year because the
upside in this offense is unbelievable totally I mean pick it we'll get to my hot take about
where where I think this offense can go but you cannot just let Jaden blue fall by the side of the
road not pick him up give that he's on that offense in any in any format you need to make sure you
have him he's talented I've always thought he was talented he's just seems like kind of a dumbass
no he's a total yeah he is no there's no question that he is a locker room knucklehead that is what
he is and we will see what happens with him but I mean like I said if he gets dropped I'm scooping
him and he's he's down the board a little bit in terms of the priorities I'd much rather have
look at all the Gordon these are players that I think have real sort of a workhorse upside
or even braille and Alan I'd rather have but when we start getting in day when we start getting
into the Taj Brooks in the Giddens zone yeah yeah that's it he's down there giants giants the
the RB2 will be Tyrone Tracy I think that the interest in love is real but I think that their interest
in a running back is only at the very high end I think that if they I think if love gets to them they
would strongly consider it but I don't think they're going into this draft saying we need to add a
running back no matter what I think they would like to add a true difference maker running back
I think they were in on Walker I think they were in on ETN I don't think that they were going to
sign Kenny Gainwell you know I don't think they were going to sign someone lower down the list I
think it I think that they would like to add a truly elite option and if they don't get one they'll
just ride it out with what they have this is my read on the giants so I I think that they miss out
on love because I think the Titans take love and then they they go in with Gattaboo Tracy and
single turret it's right very uninteresting it is what it is they were weeks last year where
it's going to be the exact same setup Gattaboo is the man Tracy's change of pace nothing changes

products at a store near you commanders I mean this is their backfield is crazy
is it funny it's a funny back no it's a wild backfield um I I mean if they if love gets to
seven they're the one team that I'm like 100% sure would click the button a 10,000 percent I'm at
10,000 percent if love gets there they're spreading to the podium yeah I don't think love gets
there so I'm I'm I'm saying that their backfield as largely as constructed probably adding a
back in the draft the interesting thing is if they don't get love at seven they don't have a
second round pick they do have a third round pick they have pick at 71 but then they don't have
a fourth round pick so they only have one other chance to add a meaningful year one threat
and it's in the third round and then if they don't get them there you're all the way into the fifth
sixth the seventh so I think that there is a higher than average chance that their backfield is
white JCM Ford McNichols and like a round six rookie yes um and so in that event I think it's
I mean it's gonna be a split it's gonna be a committee but I I think if that's the final
construction white's probably the most interesting even though I think he stinks but just he's the
only one that has like the fantasy friendly combination of all the skill steps that we care about
he's a receiver playing running back he's so like he's he's the guy where I don't think he's
that good but he has the pass probability he has the receiving ability he has the size and so
if he kind of falls into touches you know what you're gonna get and you're always gonna get a
startable fantasy running back if it's not him then it's kind of nobody other than bestball
because like it's the there's a world where it's JCM is the starter and he gets nine carries a game
and then Jerome Ford gets six carries a game and then Rashad White gets three carries and four
targets and it's just a disaster but if it's anyone it's probably white who is who's meaningful
Rashad White in bestball as well Rashad White's a nice little bestball option like yeah we talked
about this earlier with the the satellite backs that have standalone value that are just great
options for for bestball Dylan Samson Rashad White who would you rather have between those two
and bestball right now I think I'd rather have Samson because love if love is taken it's just over
for everyone else love is just assuming the backfield oh right yeah okay so you would take
Samson because there's there's much less love risk in Cleveland right the sort the sort of
damacles hangs directly over Rashad White's head until April 23rd yeah but we get through the draft
and they they they don't take anyone of note then give me white give me white for sure
you mentioned singleton earlier he's I think he's also an option for them in the third round
yeah totally is yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah okay bears manan guy and very solid yeah solid guy he's
a solid guy he's a manan guy just a manan guy solid guy but he's in the right offense man
this is an ascending offense they get more draft picks this year he's living the best possible
world for who he is more offensive line it's gonna be it's gonna be good there I would love to see
what this bears run game would look like with a truly game changing back because I mean they
were so effective in the run game last year with I think two pretty limited guys yeah um and like
if they if I mean it would I was really hoping they would just this off season would be like
screw it we're we're trading for breeze hall we're signing Ken Walker and just super charged turbo
mode I think we'll get it one day one day we're gonna see this Ben Johnson bears team with a true
superstar running back and I think it's gonna just break fantasy football but this year I think
we're we're just gonna see probably swift and manan guy in the best possible setup for swift and
manan guy are they sleepers to take a running back in the second round pick 57 I mean maybe
maybe I just don't know if there's a guy who like to me it's similar to the giants like they're
their backfield as it stands it's like good enough that they don't need to I think it'd be worth it
if they could get someone who's a true difference maker but I don't know that they need to just add a
guy no I think Mike Washington junior is interesting and I think they you know whether it's second
round third round they could use someone with some real explosiveness that's the one thing
monon guy doesn't have monon guy is a ferocious runner and he doesn't have that he doesn't have
that slasher next gear swift had it but swift's now dusty so it would be I think that's the one
skills that they need is is someone someone like a Mike Washington junior lions oh it's Pacheco
that's Pacheco I like Pacheco this year he's gonna have a much smaller version of the David
Montgomery role than David Montgomery had but he's he's the clear RB two that they that's not
sion vaki or Craig Reynolds or any other goof this is one of those handcuffs that I am all over
because there's all this news the button smoke about how they're not sold on him and they're they
want to take a running back in the draft and all these things now they they brought in Pacheco
who was the de facto starter for a world championship team this is this is the perfect sort of
complimentary back that can come in and he also brings explosiveness so the defense never gets
a break when he comes in for Gibbs and I think I love it and you know Gibbs gets nicked up you
know Pacheco becomes a monster he's a guy they can give a 60% opportunity share to he has had
that in a few games in Kansas City where he was the absolute starter so it and there's no debate
like when I asked you you were very quick to say Pacheco yeah definitely there's a lot of these
other back fields were like you know we're back and forth and so it's a great team and if we're
looking at just pure contingent value especially in seasonal leagues Pacheco is a great target he's
one of the guys where if you're in a waiver priority league in Jameer Gibbs is placed on injured
reserve and you're like oh man I'm number one in priority do I want to burn it Pacheco is a no
doubt about it you just you burn it you grab him he's your RB two for foreseeable future no question
about it I don't like to take first round running back handcuffs in bestball ever because I'm
spending so much capital on these running backs across my portfolio of teams to bet against myself
by having any Pacheco I can't mathematically prove that it's suboptimal it just feels bad and I
don't think it's ever it's ever been a strategy that anyone has ever touted like you should be
doing this you should have teams with Gibbs and some teams with Pacheco I'm like I don't think
that's true right I don't think people that drafted McCaffrey oh they had teams with Garendo
or teams with Jordan Mason like it doesn't matter like no if McCaffrey goes down and you have
a bunch of McCaffrey then it's over like those teams are over and you're probably you're probably
going to lose money this year if you're overexposed to that guy that's just what's going to happen
and they're and having another guy in that roster in the backfield isn't going to help right
so to me in terms of format FFPC high stakes leagues this is where Pacheco has the most value
oh for sure managed leagues where you can take him and you don't have any Gibbs doesn't matter
if you have Gibbs or not it's but just having Pacheco there and then you can always make a move
if you want to drop him and not drop him whatever but you have him and you have him at least for
the first say three weeks of the season where you know you know that everyone in that league like
you said would be searching for Pacheco to add him and then they're going to find out that you
already have him because you took him as your last round pick that's that's the type of player
that Pacheco is and that's the type of league where you want to have a guy like Pacheco packers
it's the tricky one I would think they're looking at running back on day two and day three of the
draft this year so I'm gonna guess rookie but if they don't go rookie I mean I guess I guess
March on Lloyd I guess if he's healthy ever I'm not sure March on Lloyd exists he might be like
he might like Sid Finch where it's like a person we've been told exists but the mayor may not be
real he's he's hurt constantly 17 different injuries at all times but I mean if he does remind
me a lot of early Rico Dotto for sure Rico Dotto was an absolute ghost for three years no one was
even sure where he stood on the depth chart was he on the roster was he not on the roster was
he on the practice squad was he on the IR where is Rico Dotto we have no idea we haven't seen him he
hasn't taken a snap this is a very similar situation for sure if and this is an absolutely massive
hit but if he's healthy and available and Josh Jacobs goes down there's just no question who the
more effective higher upside player is between him and Chris Brooks like Chris Brooks is a third
and tenor so I think it's Lloyd it's just you know the degree of I would love to take shots on
Lloyd for basically nothing and dynasty last round pick in a managed league best ball is tough
because the percentage chance you've spent one of your dedicated slots on our injured reserve
participant is as high with Lloyd but in leagues where that doesn't cost you quite as much he remains
interesting the the light is on the fact that they let Emmanuel Wilson go for almost nothing is
is very interesting if you happen to be a March on Lloyd believer so I've experimented with this show
I've tried uploading it to YouTube to see if it could perform better I've tried streaming it to
player profiler now I think from now on we're just going to stream shows that I host a player
profiler and other shows to player profiler now but I'm going to stream the show to YouTube
whether or not it helps the show get a wider reach or not because of these kinds of comments
I did not know this you're not I did not know I have verified it and it's true according to
at JP TAY JP TAY hey JP TAY JP TAY makes me want to have that inflection in my voice for some reason
I've no idea why he claims truly from a position of facts that Damian Martinez a true sort of
Chris Rodriguez style workhorse at Miami is on the Packers and that's interesting to me because
he is the closest comparable to Josh Jacobs I liked Damian Martinez and I think he can play
I have to assume there's other things at play with him because just based on the statistical
profile and the tape it makes no sense that he lasts around seven it makes no sense that he couldn't
stick with the Seahawks through camp so there must be some character element there that we don't
know about could be conditioning could just be that he could just be a conditioning issue we're
like listen the guy just can't he's not in good enough shape to play football at a professional level
right something is up there's something in the water with him clearly because just based on the
tape and the stats this is a guy that should have gone around three around four around five
and been an RB two last year not round seven and camp cut it doesn't make any sense
so something's up with him but I agree with you I'm interested you know this is a wide open
RB two job with Chris Brooks who's a nothing burger and Marshawn Lloyd who's on injured reserve
90% of his games like if things if things fall where Damian Martinez gets to just be on the field
like I I'll back him I believe in him as a player so with the Vikings we know who the running
backs are there it is a 50 50 split we know it is it just a pure specialist backfield do you have
a particular take on their backfield is there one versus the other you're drafting more well it's
odd because this was one where I I wrote up my preview of the offseason for the running back position
and this was the one that genuinely surprised me the most because without tracking the stats on a
weekly basis it felt like Jordan Mason got his opportunity early failed faded and Aaron Jones
you know finished stronger and you look at the stats and Aaron Jones's advance metrics are
terrible last year not that surprising he's quite old and Jordan Mason's were shockingly good
like quite good and then you'd think that would be a good thing for Jordan Mason but I don't
even know if it is because I'm like if last year he was actually very effective but they just
didn't care they were just still playing Aaron Jones anyways it's like what more could Jordan
Mason do because he's it's not like he's going to show up this year and be a three down all all
situations back it's not who he is he's a he's a specialist runner who is effective at running
and that didn't seem like it was enough for them last year so I I don't rate his chances of
taking over this backfield very highly because he's already been the far more effective Russia
and they didn't give a crap about that so I'm I'm thinking it's just going to be kind of an ugly
split and then even in the event that Aaron Jones goes down which I would say is like almost
certain um oh my god I'm I'm blanking who's who's that converted wide receiver that the Vikings
have that was kind of interesting last year so it's like Xavier something Xavier something why
Xavier Scott is it Xavier Scott his name is his name is exactly Xavier Scott Xavier Scott
like he's he's kind of funky and is like a it's like a deep stash that honestly haven't got nowhere
on the seasonal league radar but if you're in a deep league I'd stash you because Aaron Jones
is missing time I promise you and and I don't think that they want Jordan Mason to be more than
a specialist so I think I think all of a sudden Xavier Scott could be playing half the snaps so
I yeah I put up on the screen there the Aaron Jones injury history given his age his size in
his recent injury history where before he was quite durable now it's hamstring shoulder hip all
in one season you know this is a you know a situation where he is how old he's 31 yeah so I mean
meanwhile meanwhile Xavier Scott very athletic okay from Maine and 220 pounds with receiving skills
this is a guy that you need to be stashing this is absolutely someone that should be on every
dynasty roster every single dinosaur because this offense is going to be better this year it has
to be better here and I think Jordan Mason is a very strong bet in all formats Jordan Mason in
all formats and Xavier Scott stashed in dynasty that is my assessment I'm with you yeah of course you
are Falcons yeah it's it's it's it's it's one of the B Robinson's and it's the much worse B Robinson yeah
yeah it's funny it's like this is this is like a less explosive Pacheco situation yeah it's the
exact same you have you have an elite back who they need to finally unleash unshackle from the from
the RB 2 who was being annoying they bring in a new RB 2 who's untethered to the regime doesn't
pre both of them had this pre-existing thorn in their side and now they don't and so Robinson comes
in he's going to be a pure RB 2 it's not going to be you know the the closer like Tyler Algier was
but if B's on Robinson goes down plug and play RB 2 yeah plug and play but not with the same
level of excitement there's not the offensive line that they have in Atlanta compared to Detroit
this is not the same offense it's they're in cubic purgatory with two left handed quarterbacks
yeah I mean he's gonna Brian Roberts is gonna have to learn how to take a handoff but go in the
opposite way I love I love hammering these left handed quarterbacks this is the team I really
want to talk about all right the Panthers yeah um this is a good offensive line it is it is
it is their their RB 2 to start the year will be Jonathan Brooks but I think that there's a very
good chance that there are be two to finish the years to the Hubbard because you love Jonathan
Brooks that much I I love Jonathan Brooks to ACLs ago I I don't think anyone knows what Jonathan
Brooks we're gonna see this season but the the upside is really high and Hubbard is Hubbard is fine
he's a he's a replacement level starter you think he can handle it if he needs to but I I don't
think he's really blockading anyone if Brooks is gonna get opportunities he's gonna play I think
like every third or fourth drive to start the year and if he looks clearly better than Hubbard
he can overtake him I mean Rico Dattle overtook Hubbard last year so I I think Brooks is gonna
have a chance to show us if he's still the Brooks he was a tech if Brooks is the Brooks he was at
Texas he's taking over this backfield I just I don't know if that's the case two AC Hells later
in 10 games he put up over 1100 rushing yards and had 25 catches at Texas with a 6.1 yards per
carry wow this is a Texas we're mostly skill guys underwhel they underwhel because the you
know the offense couldn't get out of its own way and they rely their defense first college program
and they just have so many players coming there now with NIL money that they have to spread it
around but there was a time when Jonathan Brooks showed at Texas true offensive skill position
and body part heel man you have tendons heel ligaments heel better than they ever have
correct with modern medicine so Jonathan Brooks is very much a guy that I love it's just that
there's too many people like you out there pumping him up that it makes it hard right it's so
much easier for someone like me to go get someone like Pacheco or someone like Braille and Allen
this Jonathan Brooks man there was a buy window and the doubtful thing what it did was distracted people
in dinosaur way from the the the real prize which was to get Jonathan Brooks at a massive discount
last year at this time right so soon as he signed out will move in bang and get that was the time
so where a year later it's all played out perfectly for Jonathan Brooks and now you have to pay
you're not going to get a discount on this guy you're going to have to pay up the people that have
Jonathan Brooks on their roster have suffered and they're not going to give him up easily good news bad
news is one of those things where you're probably we're just trying to get we like to get the real
talk for dynasty like what you're up against you can't just go ad players it's not that easy
can't just trade for a guy uh what's what's the highest rookie pick you'd give for Jonathan Brooks
and I know you I know we want to be more creative we want to adamant existing trades but like just
you're you're forced you have to name a pick if he were healthy and being drafted in this class he
would be the RB 2 definitely though I really like price but he would be the RB 2 definitely given
that we're not sure about the health but I tend to bet on health I tend to bet on modern medicine
so given this class 9th 10th pick oh my god whoa wow wouldn't you no no I wouldn't do that
but I would I'd give like I'm too rich for you that's too rich for me okay why don't
think you have to pay you don't have to pay that you don't have to pay that you know I know I'm
saying I'm not saying I'm saying the most I would pay the problem is the wide receivers that
are going to be available there are going to dwarf him in terms of lifetime value like on the
player profiler rankings if I went to the player profile rankings and pulled them up it would be
a second round pick right but for me in terms of how bullish I really am on this guy and I was
in negotiations and I really wanted him in real life I would I could get more going to a the
thing is I could get more going to another dynasty manager so this is like a thought experiment that
doesn't really help anybody in real life but if I had to put about that I am very in on Jonathan
Brooks and I knew you were very in on Jonathan Brooks and so I have to admit that this whole segment
that has been like basically the whole show was reverse engineered so we could help Jonathan
Brooks really I've been waiting for this moment and so yes I would give up a very late first
rounder in single quarterback in super flex I would give a second rounder if if if it was there
was no other choice I was super strong at wide receiver I needed a running back I I couldn't
find any other trade partners in my league where I could you know get an asset that I just do is
generally more valuable to the league and then flip them and then come back for Jonathan Brooks I
can do all those things I understand all that Jake but I like touting man I like touting because this
because that he has a he the team is set the way the team is set up because I also like
Chuba Hubbard but the team the way it's set up and his profile and the injury come back and all
these things it's a fun thing to talk about it's a fun thing to just sort of experiment what you
know what in in particular situations what what was the most you would give up but yeah you're
you're you're you're you're talking like a mid-second rounder right I'm talking more like a
mid-to-late second round yeah I know I know I know yeah yeah I get I get it but I was I really
tried hard man I love but I love it I really tried hard I could have just said mid-second rounder
and we could have moved on like every other fantasy show right we could have because we just
trying to be correct right what is the exact value no you went for it you said it with your chest
you know but I mean I have that we have the dynasty dominator app and it's in the app store you
can go do a trade analysis you can do the price look up you can see exactly what this guy's worth
in dynasty if you want we have the tools for that that's not why you tune into this show
because you want to see how far real people are willing to go
oh
saints um I'll say Devin Neal it is Devin Neal yeah and for that reason Devin Neal is more exciting
than most people or if you had to like you give measure his Q score across dynasty podcasts
I think that he deserves a little more attention agree but you know that's
travesty TN goes there he's the workhorse and that's all true but Devin Neal can operate in
that position he he was given carries right this he didn't do great like he had like a 15 point
game and that was it mostly disappointed but he was a rookie from the sixth round who was essentially
given a starting job as a rookie that's that's a rare thing Devin Neal has the profile of an
R.B. 2 you like to bet on because he he doesn't do anything at an exceptional level but he does
everything at an adequate level so he he's a guy that can fill the space that's available to him
and he's the classic example of like if he's he's he's probably never going to be a team's plan
A R.B. 1 all year he's not explosive enough he's not dynamic enough but he's a classic type of
back where if your plan A gets hurt and Devin Neal is the next man up he can he can just play 85
percent of the snaps he can play in every single situation you don't need to configure a committee
around him he can fill the space he can be that plug and play R.B. 2 for you couldn't agree more
Buccaneers this one's this one's interesting I mean Gainwell is the guy they paid so he's he's
going to be the R.B. 2 but I do think I do think there's potential for let's assume Buccane
Irving gets hurt and Gainwell starts out similar to what Rashad White did last year and we go oh
can he can he Gainwell is magically turned back into a pumpkin you know he's not the guy we saw
with the Steelers and Sean Tucker continues to be explosive continues to be exciting so I'm
I'm probably at cost I'm definitely more into Tucker there are very few R.B. 3's I would want
more than Tucker there's no R.B. 3 I would want more than Tucker he is a very clear R.B. 3
because we've talked about this well like come on even all it's not clear right so in this case
with the Buccaneers it is clear it's clear they brought in Gainwell because they like Gainwell
they like Gainwell but this Sean Tucker man and we're talking about an undrafted guy because
of medical concerns and when you are undrafted for whatever reason even if you solve the medical
concerns like Jonathan Brookswell then you still have to then move your way up the depth chart
and you surp other players and prove to the coaches oh hey I'm at I can actually do some things
that Rashad White can't especially between the tackles okay we'll keep you will a Rashad White
go okay here we go yeah so it takes more time if he had that capital he would have had the
opportunities right away but now he he first has to prove that he's he's no longer a medical risk
now he has to prove that he can play and he finally did that last year and it takes time and now
he's what 24 years old he's not that old right you got you got rookies coming into the league at 24
now because of N.I.L so yeah way the man Sean Tucker I'm trying to think I'm thinking in my head
about would you rather have Sean Tucker than Devin Neil I think yes I think yes Tucker's proven
to be legit good and he he got tendered this year so that's 3.5 million which is like a lot to
pay for an RB 3 that proves they really like him yes and I I would bet next season I think
he's gonna have a real role he's either gonna he's either gonna ascend to the bucks death chart
or another team is gonna pay him more than the bucks are willing to match and I think he's
gonna have a legit chance so but neat Neil is the easier projection it's easier to envision him
ascending to touch as this season but like in dynasty I want to bet on Tucker I think Tucker's good
man these shows they we we we just keep ticking up and up and up and up with these live streams
with the concurrence so we're close to 500 I really want to get to 500 concurrence 500 concurrence
in March isn't bad that's officially not bad cardinals cardinals I will say I'm a lot of
take about the cardinals I don't think trade Benson's on the team in week one so I think it's James
Connor yeah because he's the whole stinking thing yeah I think it's just it's the stinking it's the
degenerative knee it's the fact that they reworked Connor's contract and they bring in Tyler
Algier and like those three running backs that's not a that's not a backfield to make sense
Tyler Algier is a career early down grinder James Connor was a three-down back in Pittsburgh but
for Arizona he's been predominantly a two-down back plus he's never played passing situations for
them it was demercato was playing third downs for them and then trade Benson's an early down change
a pace back so you don't walk into week one with three running backs who don't play passing
downs and don't play special teams no NFL team does this the third back is a special teams passing
down guy so week one there's no I don't think it makes any sense that they're that week one
all three of Algier Connor Benson are active that's not there's no other backfield that's ever
looked like that with three early down running backs that's a great point that's a great point
one of them is either healthy scratched or not on the team and Algier's on the team he's the
starter he's taking the first carry Connor's probably on the team because they reworked his deal
but I wouldn't say it's like a hundred percent no it's not so I think I think Benson most likely
is cut or season ending I are or pop or healthy scratch where does he end up it's interesting
to see where he ends up the obvious answer would be Washington but no I think that it's not like
the most running back needy team it's a team where you could they actually need that particular
skill set yeah and yeah we know we did we we mentioned a team like maybe uh Indianapolis Indian
apolis would make sense you know they don't necessarily feel like they have anyone that they can
trust and they feel like Benson's more proven than Giddens that could be that could be something
I don't know I really I have to think more about it where would because I've never considered
the idea that Benson leaves but he could he could he maybe like maybe even maybe even Miami
I don't know I just it's it's very tricky very tricky he is the type of guy where if he does leave
like it's just going to be whatever GM like Trey Benson in the draft and like that that might not
even be a team it needs a running back but there's there's surely some GM who on draft day was
thinking of themselves I can't wait to take Trey Benson around three and they got sniped by the
Cardinals and and they can't wait to get get him back on the team that's and I mean it could be
Minnesota would make someone said Minnesota that would make a ton of sense yeah Minnesota makes a
ton of sense because that the RB3's wide open there though we are committed to save your Scott don't
forget yeah that's true our main running back I actually think a really nice fit would be
New England you know because he's he's got a lot more juice than then Stevenson Henderson is more
of your all-purpose guy that can play special teams can can do it all satellite back can run
between the tackles right but he's lighter right so it kind of makes sense you have the the big
jumbo guy and Stevenson and then you have the medium-sized guy in Benson and then you have the
smaller guy in Henderson I think that could that could be good too especially if they're not loving
Stevenson and I don't think they are he had fumble problems earlier and he's always been a plotter
that sort of you know found himself in situations where he ended up putting up efficient seasons
in spite of his lack of explosiveness and that where Benson actually does bring explosiveness the
question is what else does he bring to the table so I think that I think that if I had to think
about it for a while and you know New England makes some sense the jets makes some sense
yeah so yeah but I I like where your head's at in terms of hey listen the cardinals aren't
going to be showing up week one with these three guys active so we got to figure this out and by
the way at J.P. Tay if you get a nice Mike buddy I mean he's been he's been he's been in the
comments about Sean talker I mean this you think that's Jonathan Taylor that's that's that's
John and Taylor's Twitter count is J.T. 23 do you think you think John of the Taylor as a burner
is John of the Taylor's middle name so over the P by the way if you can check private chat I
hate to do this live but John and Taylor's middle name is Peter I don't know is it actually
I can't find on a vehicle pdf man all right we're so close we're so close we're so close
rams I can't find his middle name rams we're we're gonna go rapid fire rams we know it's more
of it we know it's corn but hunter is still interesting I think don't give up on hunter yeah jacquoise
hunters the second best rb3 after Sean Tucker we would agree with that big agree uh San Francisco 49ers
well it's they're gonna draft someone because they always draft someone but the person they
draft is never actually the rb2 so it's gonna it's gonna be I think Jordan James but they'll
draft someone that we all get excited about and then it'll beat Jordan James I think I think
I think you're exactly right and Jordan James is not that interesting no he's not you run
like a 49 I could I could beat Jordan James in a 40 Seattle that's super interesting because
their back feels clearly incomplete uh they're they're the they're the type of team whose starter
could currently be on someone else's roster right it could be Tony Pollard just got caught
Tre Benson could be the rb1 and see I mean it could be anything as it stands I think the running
back who takes the first carry of the seasons Emanuel Wilson yes I think their third down back is
George Hollani and I think that their rb2 is Mike Washington or Jadarian Price who could and
probably will very quickly usurp Emanuel Wilson Jadarian Price to Seattle would make a fun make for
a very fun debate where certainly in dynasty it's always gonna be Jeremiah Love but for this year
would you rather have price with pick 32 in Seattle or Jeremiah Love in Tennessee in the top 10
I'd rather have Jeremiah Love okay that's it that's the answer there but I just wanted to say that
because it's fun to do it do it do a little Jadarian Price check it's fun to see hey what what
it what is let's do a quick price check as you said yeah which I love uh the little play on words
and uh let's see if we can get some let's play a little hot take game and get a little hot we
will hot take you here like my with the Jonathan Brooks first rounder I think I have a bold take
that pickens and lamb are teed up to both be our cute uh wider seaver ones this year I think that
that offense is gonna be pass heavy yet again like they don't upgrade the what the running back
they're gonna they're gonna clearly invest in the offensive line like it's like a user logical
mind about what they they are gonna upgrade the offensive line they're gonna give back more time
and these two players gonna be healthy they're gonna be going through camp together
they're gonna be brothers and arms and it's gonna be just these two consolidated target share
the the running back is not a threat to be a a receiver out of the back field any kind of volume
it's just a guy at tight end with Ferguson uh floor noise is interesting it's like a handcuffed wide
receiver from a small school with athleticism but all these guys are you know either jags or people
who tell stories about in order to get there and that like with jaden blue and then there's the
two pillars of the offense that are just so special in totally different ways that are totally
complimentary and that to me is the path for two receivers being wide receiver ones and fantasy
I agree I mean I I was big on pickens last year people were concerned about you're not the wide
receiver one too concerned um and disregarding how many more routes he was gonna run and we saw
that play out I love the take um I'll go with a similar one for my hot take um we we talked about
you know the bears having kind of underqualified running backs I think they're gonna pass more
this year I think we see another step out of kill of Williams this year and so you had two
past catchers I'll I'll have another one that's similar I think colston loveland is going to be
the overall tight end one and Luther burden is gonna be a top 12 wide receiver love it absolutely
love it I was supposed to play the outro I think we're still alive yeah we're still alive I was
supposed to actually because I'm still getting used to this so I'm actually I was supposed to say
end and then I was gonna play the outro but I just hit the outro manually and then it sort of
did it so we're gonna have to we're gonna do it again you're right we're gonna do it again do I
have it we're gonna do another end screen you guys ready for another end screen this is this is
gonna be really embarrassing ready for this is this is uh just uh a warning for all you kids out
there uh don't just stream with the new software without getting to know it first very dangerous
and it's you could be embarrassed like I was today just now
