On March 23, the New York Jets are ramping up their quarterback search ahead of next
month's NFL draft.
They spend time with George's Carson Beck on Sunday night, and held a private workout
with Penn State's Drew Aller last week.
Aller, who missed much of his final college season with a broken ankle, skipped full drills
at the Scouting Combine earlier this year.
Still, a bunch of his Knitts and the Lions teammates joined the session to help evaluate
him.
Reports say a LAR fell confident enough at the Combine to play a full game, if called
upon right away.
That injury came in his third year as Penn State starter.
Over his college career, he threw for 61 touchdowns against just 13 interceptions, hitting 63.2%
of his passes.
With the draft closing in, the Jets are clearly casting a wide net on top quarterback
talent to find their next franchise guy.
That wraps NFL news today, brought to you with AI.
