Jets Target Top Defensive Talent, Consider Ioane at 16

The New York Jets are projected to snag the top defensive talent available in number two overall in the 2026 NFL draft.

General manager Darren Moogie gets first dibs on stars like pass rushers.

The team lost guards, Alicia Vera Tucker and John Simpson in free agency, creating big holes up front.

They signed Dylan Parham to fill one spot, while shifting Joe Titman to write guard after Vera Tucker's preseason injury last year, with Josh Myers,

slotted at center. Experts point to Penn State guard Oliva Vega, Iowan, as a prime target at 16.

He's seen as one of the safest bets in the draft, and could slide right in as a starter.

Picking EOane would let Titman return to center, bench Myers, and give the Jets five rising starters across the line for a major upgrade.
