Jets Trade for Broncos' Franklin

Instead, they loaded up on defense by signing players like Demario Davis and Joseph Ossai, plus Dane Belton and Nosherner Wright. They also made bold trades, grabbing Tevondre's sweat from the Titans, Minka Fitzpatrick from the Dolphins, and Geno Smith from the Raiders. Earlier this week, the Denver Broncos traded draft picks to the Dolphins for star-wide out Jalen Waddle. That move might open the door for them to deal some debt receivers, including Troy Franklin or Marvin Mims. Fans and analysts see Franklin as a great fit for the Jets, who still lack punch at the position. The 24-year-old had a solid year with 65 catches for 709 yards and 6 touchdowns. For the Broncos, it makes sense, too. With Waddle joining Cortland Sutton in their run-focused attack, Franklin's role shrinks. Swapping him now nets them a fifth-round pick they can use right away.
