Jim Schlossnagle Leaves Texas A&M To Become Texas Baseball Head Coach (Ep. 144)

The College Baseball Experience (@TCEonSGPN) on the Sports Gambling Podcast Network talks about Jim Schlossnagle taking the Texas Baseball Head Coach position. Noah Bieniek (@NoahB77_) offers his insight and analysis on what developed while Schloss and Texas A&M Baseball were in Omaha. Why did Schloss make the move? Schlossnagle is 53 years old and has 8 College World Series appearances to his name and 5 of them were with the Horned Frogs. Chris Del Conte and Schlossnagle have remained close friends since their time in Fort Worth together. How much of a factor did that play in Schloss moving from College Station to Austin?

 

Obviously this is a terrible look, optics-wise, for Jim Schlossnagle. But it's not the first time he has left a Lone Star state program for another. Schloss has played the villain role before, he'll be prepared to do it again. Does Bieniek feel empathetic towards Aggie fans?
