Welcome to the Dork Forest, Jackie and her pals will never bore us shameless confessions.
About our obsessions will make us laugh and smile, so let's explore the Dork Forest and
Dork down for a while.
Hey rangers, it's me Jackie Cation and it is another year of the Dork Forest.
What the heck, right?
You should know that the website JackieCation.com or the dorkforest.com or dorkforest.com
if you don't enjoy a determiner are all still available.
You can hear the show on all of the different things.
I've been trying to figure out how to get off Spotify.
Try not to listen to Spotify because they throw in ads that are not approved by me Jackie
Cation.
But we'll see what I could do anyway.
But so you could always watch the show on my YouTube channel.
I think it's the Dork Forest or Jackie Cation.
It's all linkable on JackieCation.com, the dorkforest page.
And I have another podcast called the Jackie and Laurie show, not quite as sleepable
because it's just me and Laurie can Barton bitching about the stand-up comedy.
And also celebrating it anyway.
So here's the thing.
You can donate again to the show.
If you enjoy the show, I would love for you to donate about a hundred bucks a year
because that keeps everything in roll it along.
And you can do PayPal, which is my email Jackie at JackieCation.com,
which you could also email me anything you like about the shows and stuff like that.
You can Venmo me at JackieCation.
That's my Venmo handle.
And if you see me in real life at a comedy show,
you could just hand me a sweaty watt of 20s or whatever you like.
That'd be great.
And I also do stand-up comedy.
So you can see my tour dates on JackieCation.com.
You can listen to very old episodes of the Dork Forest on my bandcamp.
And I also put my very first album that I ripped.
It's on my bandcamp page.
It's called...
Bread is not bread.
It's not circus people.
Cake is not my downfall, which is a track on the bread album.
But it has other jokes that are not on the bread album.
I mostly, the audio is what it is.
But there's also some very early Dork Forests at a storytelling album called Storytime,
all on bandcamp and everything's either free or a couple of bucks.
So, new album coming out in February called Altercation and New Special.
And that, I'm sure there's more to it.
But let's get into the show.
Rangers of the Dork Forest, it's me, JackieCation.
Here we are again, one more week.
You might have noticed last week the video didn't work.
So that's not Debbie Bradshaw's fault.
We don't know where to lay the blame.
I suspect Riverside, but what I'm going to do is take a sip of this and tell you about
this week's guest on the Dork Forest is a comic out of New York City.
And she has a new album and special coming out in April.
April 16th will be, I think, the special in the week before that.
No, no.
April 16th is the album.
Then a week later is the special.
It's called Hot 50.
And if you go to hotjoana.com, you will know more about Joanna Ross than probably you need
to know, but it might be humorous so that you'll enjoy that.
Welcome to the program.
As I take a sip.
No, please.
It's hot.
Thank you for having me, Jackie.
Nice to meet you.
Nice to meet you too.
I know we've never met.
And yet we both do stand up.
People would think.
People would think we were met.
Why haven't we met?
How did that happen?
Well, it turns out there's thousands of people and you're on the other side of the country.
So very exciting.
Here's what I was just telling you because you're dorked them.
Now we want to talk about, of course, and let people know about the comedy and all that.
And that'll be this.
I think this will be the first, yeah, I think this will be the beginning of April that
this will come out.
So just a couple of weeks and they can wander around hotjouanna.com or what's your Instagram?
I didn't write that down.
Oh, sure.
Joanna 33 Ross is my Instagram.
Okay.
Joanna 33 Ross.
And there's probably Reels and pictures of Frank your cat and so many.
So you can get to know Joanna if you're into it.
Now, it's a musical episode.
So get your die cocks and your shot glasses ready because I know Jack about music and it's
heavy metal you guys on Jovey.
I know a little bit about on Jovey.
I mean, you should, Jackie, come on.
I know.
Here's what I know about on Jovey.
They had an airplane in the 80s that had their name on the side of it.
And I had that poster with the four of them with their hairs in my dorm room.
Yes.
In my co-op dorm room.
That's a lot.
And I, and I of course own one bun Jovey album and that is it.
It's the one.
It's the, the cowboy song.
It's the cowboy.
Can I guess?
Yeah.
Can I guess?
Slippery when wet.
That's it.
That's the one.
Why wouldn't I?
It's probably their most popular album.
But how many albums do they have and are they still working?
And is that guy still alive?
That lead singer.
John bun Jovey.
Yes.
Still alive.
Okay.
Going on tour, but he had a throat problem.
So he came out with a documentary.
Is it 3070?
Is one of his throat problems that he's, that he's older than I am.
He's too old to sing.
Yes.
Um, the documentary gets into it and, okay, I would say it's a documentary.
Oh, thank you and good night.
That's what it's called.
Okay.
So super excited.
He's fired everyone out of the band at this point.
Right?
Okay.
Yeah, yeah, it's, it's, I mean, you know, again, we have to start from, let's start from
the end.
Why are we starting at the beginning?
So, um, so, uh, the documentary, uh, Dave Bryant is the only one left in the band.
I should say that he's back in the band, but everyone else has been, you know, fired
at this point.
So what it is, if you're a bun Jovey fan, like I was, like it rocked my world, I'm from
New Jersey.
I, you know, like the big hair, I was all into it.
I'd run home on MTV to see the two videos that were in the top 10.
So I was, I mean, when I was my first concert, oh, my God, I forgot that.
It's my first concert.
Oh, wow.
Skid Row opened for them and it was outdoors.
Don't couldn't do.
Oh, yes.
Oh, yeah.
And actually, I met, um, that lead guy and his name is Sebastian Bach and he was in a Broadway
show.
All right.
Yeah.
And you're a show business and he's in show business.
So why wouldn't you have that Sebastian Bach?
That's right.
I mean, even crazier, I was illegally subletting my apartment to the girl who ends up being
the lead with Sebastian Bach.
So we get to go back to it.
Yeah.
Okay.
Yeah.
Okay.
I'm with Dougie Houser.
I am not kidding you.
I'm with Dougie Houser because my friend knows him.
Wow.
My Patrick Harris.
Yes.
Oh, look.
That's out of the air.
Good for me.
Well, yeah.
So Neil Patrick Harris and, uh, yeah.
Anyway.
So back to Bon Jovi.
I'm so excited.
This documentary comes out.
I feel like it's going to be a tell all like what happened to this band like Richie Sanborn
him, not friends anymore.
Or I should say, you know, they're a stranger, not in the, he's not in the band and the
fur.
It is, it is so bad in the sense of like if you love Bon Jovi, he looks like such an
asshole.
Immediately.
Oh, really?
John Bon Jovi looks like the biggest jerk in, oh, thank you.
Have you seen it?
How did he write it?
Yeah.
But he, but he wrote it off.
He was like, sure.
Show everybody.
I'm a jerk.
Have you?
Have you seen what you said?
A lot of people.
Yeah.
And he had, I think that's the problem.
He probably had the last looks, right?
He probably got in the contract.
I get to decide what goes out there.
And the first thing, one of the first things in the first 10 minutes is he's going through
the set list.
First of all, you see him laser his neck, which is where he walks into some kind of laser
and you're just seeing this.
And then he's going to the, yeah, you're going to band practice next.
And he's running down the set list.
And you know, it's like, he's like, I'm going to start out in the audience with prayer instead
of living on a prayer.
I have a problem with that.
But he's like, where I have a medicine and then he goes adulation, adulation.
And me and my husband are like, is he saying in the set list that people are clapping?
Or is that the name of the song?
No, no, no, that's not a song.
There's no song there.
It's just him going, Agile.
This is where I would like everyone to, I don't know, cut themselves and drink my blood.
Great.
Great, John.
It's not a great scene.
Oh, I do.
Catchy tunes, though.
Oh, I'd go see it again, but I am, the veil has been lifted and I'm sure it's hard
to have.
They had big hair, though.
As Jersey girls needed these people.
So this is really like, I watched the rest of it and it definitely, by time Richie Samboar
shows up, which you're very excited.
I guess he probably has a drinking problem.
He's like, do you want the truth or what I was told to say or something like that?
Yeah.
So nothing gets said.
You know, we don't, we don't get the behind the scenes and it's, oh, it's a big
great switch.
Oh, it is four parts.
Four, four.
How long has each part, it's an hour at least, maybe some of them are an hour and a half.
Holy hell.
Okay.
Yeah.
All right.
Yeah.
So maybe I'll give them maybe, let's just say it's four hours, but I do think some of
them were a little bit over and I said, I'm not sure.
Is John Bon Jovi, does it seem like he's gotten any sort of hippie-skippy help?
Like a see a groover, like a see a recovery or, so he got anything going on?
See, stand on his head and let the blood rush to his head so that he feels better.
No?
I'm going to say, I'll say, when we say a nice thing and a bad thing.
Sure.
Say the best thing.
I think he's a good showman.
I think forever and a day, he will, like, that's why I would go see him.
He's always, you know, he takes his craft seriously and, uh, yeah, so I would go see,
I would, if you got free tickets, you should go see him.
You don't think he needs the money?
Is he living a check to check?
Probably not.
Oh, uh, yeah.
No, no, no, no.
No, he's got, he's got, he's probably got keys to New Jersey, you know, he's a residual
money.
Yeah, he's got, I think, yeah, he has, he has writer money.
Yeah, he wrote those, yeah, but I think he's, um, I think he's probably not that nice
if the whole band's gone.
That's what I'm going to say.
Right.
Like, yeah, but I always wonder about bands, you know, because, um, they have to live in
that van for so many years before, um, yeah.
So yeah, they just, they, I just, I worry about, you know, it's comedy.
You're alone.
You're blessedly alone.
Right.
And they're together and they're, and they're growing up together.
I mean, these, I mean, they're on top of the world at what, 22, 25, that, that's, and
that's right.
Right.
Like, um, I know I also like Motley crew and they're 18.
Oh, would, wait, Motley crew was 18 when they blew up, um, I think when they got together
and I think by the time they blew up, they might be, I, I think they're ranging from 18
to 20 when they, when they get something, it's always so at least to the NFL, they give
you those classes.
Did you, have you ever heard about that where they have classes with how to have a girlfriend
and what to do with your money?
Oh, I didn't know that was true, but thank you.
So this has been very, um, now, this has been very educational for me.
Well, I think that's what I want a second source of that you're going to want.
That's what I, what I've got is here, say as well.
So, uh, but to my knowledge, they, there are classes they could take because they're 18
or 22 years old and they're making a trillion dollars.
And of course, in music, there's none of that, right?
They're just like, you're the best man, adulation, adulation, right?
There's not going to be anybody, anybody raining you in at any point, right, and so, and
as we know, absolute power corrupts absolutely at every level.
Are you kidding me?
Uh, when my mother-in-law lived with us, we have, uh, uh, handicapped tags on the car.
I've abused it, not going to lie to try not to try not to power absolute power
corrupts absolutely at every level.
You know what?
Uh, if I had a drink, I would take a sip of that because I appreciate that even at
that level of just receiving that, uh, that level of honesty, that level of the fact
that I'm willing to be vulnerable.
This will not make the clips.
That's what we know.
I'm not going to clip this out.
Now you went in the handicapped parking.
I wouldn't tell anybody yet.
You're too young for that.
Well, it's, and will you also told the thing about the subletting?
So that's not going to be the clip either.
I got, I got kicked out, though.
One of them know why they got, they were like, they got me with her because she,
I don't, this is a law that no one should know.
Um, it was a small studio.
So I had a small, um, refrigerator, you know, like the ones you have in college,
which I did not go to either.
But, um, so she threw it out to get a new one and you have to take the door
and handle off.
So no child locks themselves in.
Yeah, yeah.
People die.
People get, you know, I don't know why I know that.
Oh, yeah.
So all at the time you were 24 and you're like, nobody does ever.
When you're 24, you're immortal.
And exactly on my stars.
The landlord calls me up because I know you don't live there.
And I'm still like, no, yes, I do.
When he goes, you just threw out, um, uh,
oh my gosh, you just threw a refrigerator and you, and I was like,
okay, I don't live there anymore.
Yeah, he's against the law.
He goes, you got to get out and I was like, okay, I get it.
Yeah.
Oh, it was, he found, he found a good loophole so that you would leave quietly.
Yeah.
Can you remember how I left quietly, but my friend ended up getting the apartment?
Uh, really?
Uh huh.
And it's very fun.
And like their friends to this day and like he was also, he was hot.
So like when I went in for the interview because it was back then and,
and I was just like, this guy was really good looking.
And I was, and so now my friend still is friends with him and his kids and they
go on a boat, but that's because of me getting kicked out.
Right.
And then have you been on his boat?
No.
No.
I say a big bunch of, you gotta, you gotta share.
Yeah, back to bunch of me.
So when did you, so you got into, uh, so you got in early, obviously,
because of big hair in New Jersey.
And he was living on a prayer and, uh, hot video videos.
They were hot in the videos.
Right.
That was MTV's heyday.
And he was, and they were all, even the, I don't know if they were all handsome,
but all of their hair was gorgeous and it was distractingly beautiful.
And you would look at them together and go, oh, these are handsome men.
And you never looked directly into their faces.
Like I, I couldn't, like I have that face thing too, where I don't recognize anybody.
I look forward to meeting you again and again and again.
So, uh, it's a great opportunity to meet people over and over, which only works,
uh, in other people's favor, when they don't like me, because I forget them,
and then they get to be mean to me repeatedly, because I forgot who they are.
And handler.
Uh, who's got that kind of money?
Anyway, so, uh, on Jovi does.
So, yes.
So, so how many people are in the band initially for five at least I'm trying to think
because there's, there's, she, uh, oh, no, no, third guitar.
The other one played big keyboard.
Then they had a bass out of John's shut such and then, uh, and then the drummer.
And then the, I'll say this, the drummer was kind of like, he was good looking.
He's probably the old, one of the older ones in the band.
I mean, what, like two, three, five years older, I have no idea.
And he aged hot.
He aged well, the drummer.
Um, and then there was a bass player.
He would, yeah, he wasn't that good looking.
John and Richie good looking and then Dave Bryant, who is now like a right
around Broadway, like he writes Broadway music.
Like, oh, well, okay.
Yeah, um, he switched over to Broadway.
And I think he aged well and, or, or not.
I can't really remember.
He has really curly hair.
So again, I tend to be like, oh, one of me, um, he must be good looking.
He's looking all that hair and fair enough.
Now, do you have any good goss on why the people got fired or left?
Or did they just, or did it just melt down because it was a band and it was over 50 years?
I mean, if you think about 1983 or 84, when they got together, right?
And so 94, 2004, 2014, 2024, 40 years, yeah.
So the only good goss would be that, um, Richie San Borra is very talented.
I think they probably had butted over that.
And he's, he had alcohol problem.
Like, you know, he was not a hog.
Yeah, right.
But I always wonder, does, which comes first?
Like, I feel like not to switch topics, but like junk guns and roses.
Like, that is someone that is, you know, I know more about their beef because
Axel Rose is so domineering.
He is a star and it's his way or nothing.
Really? So when did they get together?
So you wrote that you wanted to talk about whatever G and R was.
You're like, guns and roses?
I was like, oh, shoot.
That's the best thing I've ever heard.
I think Brian was saying, did heavy metal as well, but his stuff was so obscure.
Heavy metal.
And then I did a modern heavy metal guy on a Canada.
That was a fun episode.
But this is nice because I've heard of all three of these bands.
But I don't know when guns and roses started.
Did they start in the late 70s or?
No, guns and roses after Bon Jovi.
So I did break three.
So Motley crew is first.
And they're like, you know, I don't even, they might have gotten together at the end of the 70s or at least early early 80s.
And then Bon Jovi comes in like two, three, two.
They're kind of overlapped for sure.
And then guns and roses is after that is.
That is like the late 80s, early 90s.
Oh, okay.
Yeah, yeah.
And so, you know, their album, Apatite for Destruction comes out.
That changes the world.
I don't know if you knew that.
Changes the world.
Changes my life.
Late 80s, early 90s.
Is that what you said?
Okay.
The world was definitely changing.
So guns and roses were part of that.
Good to hear.
Yes.
They helped bring down the wall.
And so it was there.
Playing their little hearts out.
Who's in guns and roses?
It's actual.
Axel Rose slash, you know, slash.
I know that name.
Yes.
Yeah.
Two blondes.
Oh, two blonde women.
Two blonde men.
Are there any women in any of these bands?
No, these are all boy bands.
Okay.
And they probably don't prefer to be called boy bands.
But they were very much men and men.
They were young men in bands.
Yes.
Yeah.
I would say that boy bands, that term.
Oh, well, new addition and all that kind of stuff.
But they're called hair bands.
And they don't like that.
And guns and roses.
They don't really didn't like it.
They don't like that.
And yet they do their hair like that.
How about you?
If you look at the videos, the first one is like.
And then the next one is like, hair down, hair down like this.
Rachel from Friends, where she's like, I'm cutting my hair.
You people have to stop talking about my hair anyways.
Right.
Right.
And then they really kind of, you know, their music is very,
they're well respected.
That first album comes out.
I mean, I still know like, you know, like lyrics.
I'm like, how do I know these lyrics still?
I'm like, so if it's 89, I'm like 13, 12, 13.
And I had jeans and I'm writing lyrics on my jeans.
And just like guns and roses.
You were allowed to write on your clothing.
You have really nice parents.
Anyway, they didn't welcome to the jungle man.
Right.
I don't know.
Welcome to the jungle man.
Is it, is it, are we talking about a downstairs hair?
No, I was actually being kidding.
I wanted to be talking about pubes.
But I wrote it near my pubes.
And I'm like, what am I doing?
I was so naive as a child.
I think I was probably not even 13.
I'm going younger and I'm just writing lyrics.
And welcome to the jungle way too near my pubes not to notice.
But it's just about like the jungle meaning the city.
I mean, any city LA.
Oh, I see.
It's the word hood.
The word hood.
Are they out?
LA?
Yes.
Yeah.
Yeah.
All right.
Their videos are unbelievable.
He's, he's tortured.
That's why his lyrics are great.
And again, that's why they're probably more respected
than the other two bands.
Bon Jovi is like in the middle.
And Motley crew who I love, love, love, love.
I just think they were like, you know,
if you go through their history, you know,
it's like they're lighting themselves on fire.
You know, they're wearing makeup.
They're wearing leather.
Again, this is like the first, you know,
this is when the real hair bands come out and like,
and you know, and I'm thinking these,
these men that look way too much,
probably much like a lady,
because you know, again, the makeup,
I'm like, they're the hottest people I've ever met,
seen in my life.
And, and I think at the time you weren't wrong.
It was like people were like, they were,
were they post kiss though?
They were post kiss.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Kiss had started.
And they're a hair band to some extent as well.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Hair band and, right?
Right.
So, we had a minute.
So, Motley Crew was first.
Motley Crew comes out first.
Chronologically.
Chronologically.
Yeah.
And they, again, they could,
they become, the video just comes out too, right?
Like so, now you see them in video,
and you're seeing the insanity.
MTV.
Yeah.
Mm-hmm.
Hey, day of MTV.
What?
Okay.
So, actually, let's,
let's restart slightly with me knowing things.
Okay.
Motley Crew, when it comes out,
before Bon Jovi and Bon Jovi comes out,
you said in the, like, 83, 84,
or I said, like, 82, 83.
Uh-huh.
Maybe 84.
And then, um, so Motley Crew is before that,
like, what is their first album,
or what is their big, big album?
Okay.
Their first album is either
looks to kill or shout out the,
it's not shout out the devil.
I think it's looks to kill.
Okay.
And try looking up, or just let's free ball this, right?
Like, looking.
Yeah.
It's all good to everyone who's now shouting at their phones.
They know.
And, uh, and they know that we have access to it later.
If we want to know more about it.
So, but looks to kill.
Was it, it's a great album.
It's a really good album.
Um, really?
What was it just their first album?
I think there's some really good stuff on it.
Like, I think that, uh,
10 seconds to love.
It's, um,
how do I explain this?
It becomes more mainstream, right?
Like, like so many bands, right?
When you finally find out about them,
you know, when girls,
girls, girls comes out.
And that video comes out.
They're, they've had two to three albums.
And they're more heavy metal in the beginning.
And then more mainstream,
which someone would totally fight me on that.
And by time, Dr. Feelgood comes out.
There a household name,
which, you know, back then,
really, you know, they had,
they had a whole separate section on MTV at one point.
And, and Motley crew probably wasn't heavy enough.
At another point, you know.
Right.
Okay.
Because, well, I mean,
because the thing is,
I did look it up.
Because what the heck, right?
And it's called,
oh, wait, that's shout at the devil.
Why?
Because it looks to kill is on an album called
Shout at the Devil.
Okay.
Okay.
So, um,
it doesn't matter.
You like them.
Uh, you don't have to,
see, sometimes with bands,
there's some people are like,
well, I don't have all of the,
and you're like,
nobody does.
And the people that do,
that's their door to them.
What you like is you like the idea of the band.
You like the idea of these four guys
who make up a giant hair,
playing the guitars.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Cause you're 13.
I was on fire.
Relighted.
Don't forget that part.
Um, purpose.
Yes.
It was a thing they did in the videos.
And it was like,
they,
also, they're on heroin.
Let's not forget that.
So they're on heroin.
We didn't know that.
We did not know that.
Uh,
I didn't know that.
That's the,
that's the hilarious part.
I didn't know that.
I'm 12.
You know, like,
but heroin doesn't usually bank this.
Heroin,
who's got time to tease out their hair
if they're on heroin.
What?
Well, that is,
um,
that is a really good point.
And I well taken,
but that's what they said in their,
uh, you know,
they're, you know,
they have books out that I've read
and they come,
oh, wait, I have to show you this,
Jackie,
because I was like,
I have to find this.
I watched this relentlessly.
It is a VHS tape
that I still have on the sensor.
On the sensor.
VHS doesn't have,
uh, extras on it.
Or is it all just any sort of
bonus?
Do you see any bonuses?
I don't know.
I think it was pre-bonuses.
DVD was the big bonus time.
Okay.
Okay.
So I didn't get that.
Yeah.
Do you still have a VHS player?
No,
but I can't get rid of this.
No, no,
that you need to get yourself a box,
a shadow box,
build a diorama of the things
you most admired about the band.
How many times have you seen the,
have you seen them live,
ever?
Oh, I've seen them live.
At least two,
at least two times,
one they opened for the rolling stone.
No way.
Aerosmith.
They opened for Aerosmith,
in LA,
and I went to the bowl.
Right.
So this is like,
past their heyday.
And then again,
at the same time,
this is way past their heyday,
you know what I mean?
Let me just say to Anna Ross,
calls it like she sees it.
She sees it.
She's like,
all right, they haven't had a new album
in a little while.
This is their heyday's gone somewhere.
Are they still together?
Did they still hang out?
Did they still know each other?
Before I say anything else,
this is a good thing.
And I just want to say,
this is what,
I mean,
I don't think I understood
what a groupie was,
and they have so many,
and you know,
it's the lifestyle they're leading.
It's a really funny beginning,
where the,
the cameraman is chasing them
to get them all in the same room
to talk about it.
I'm sure it was planned,
is my point.
Almost certainly.
Yeah, almost certainly.
But as a child,
I'm like,
this is hilarious.
Right.
And you get to Vince Neal,
he's the front man,
and they show up at his door,
and two girls that are like half naked
in like,
it, um,
sheets are like,
yeah,
then someone's here for you.
And,
and it is,
I mean,
and that's just real
streep.
And,
and,
and,
and Kloen,
and Molly Kurser.
Um, right.
So, he comes down,
and just like jeans,
like he's like,
nah, man, I'm ready.
I'm ready.
I'm ready.
Barely ready.
So anyway,
Um,
your question was,
are they still together?
I believe they are still touring,
and, um,
like they're touring,
with like poison
and like three other,
like they,
they,
they,
they,
they tore with two other bands.
There's no way they're still doing heroin.
No, no, no, no. One is okay. So my friend, oh, I should not say this. Um, my friend
knows the one I wouldn't love with. Yeah. And so because he, he knows, and we're
kind of like, I'm like, he knows him. Hold on. He's watching. He's watching. You
guys. I mean, he might. I don't know. You know, I can't leave my husband for him now.
I mean, earlier. It's too late. Yes. It's, you know, it's too late for Nikki six. He
can't have the best of my life right now. You know, he's on the, he's on the, he's on
the decline too. Exactly. Right now. That's the time when it's your time. That's right.
Yeah. It's my time. So yeah. So he, he, um, he, and sometimes he lets me listen to his
voice mails because I'm just like an awe of Motley crew. But yeah. And he, he tells me
some things, you know, but, um, yeah, they're still touring. Yeah. Okay. So the, who's the lead
singer of Motley crew again? Ben Snail. Oh, and Tommy Lee, you know, Tommy Lee and
Pam, I mean, that's him. Oh, Oh, oh, Tommy Lee, we said that with the panel. What's
her face? Pamela Anderson. Pamela Anderson from the TV show. Yeah. Baywatch. The Baywatch
lady was, you know, they were married. Oh, you got a wide bag. I have to know. I have
to know that they're married. Do they have a sex tape? Is that what's going on? Yes.
Okay. You know how there's too much information that, uh, and now most of it's been recorded
for the last hundred years. And there's absolutely no way to keep up. And no, no, no style,
no, there's no music. There's no fashion. There's no art that holds any more weight than any other
music or fashion or art. We could like all of it. I could put Motley crew on and then Billy Joel
or Harry Chapin. And you'd be like, watch it happen, right? In front of your face as you're,
you're like, no, but 1980, if you did that, everybody'd be like, no, you can't like both of them.
And you're like, now you could like all of it. You could like, you're like, I'm listening to
Jay Z and then I'm going to go see if Jelly Roll Morton from 1927 is available. And you know what,
that's an amazing statement because you know, you did, I, I, uh, I agree with you. And then I
think the reason I have such a crazy music eclecticness is because I danced. So when I went into
like my dance classes, that's all different music, right? Like that's just, it's all different
music than whatever you would sit around and get high to. And then it's all different music that
you would just hear if you ended up in a bar or above wild wings. I mean, you live in New York City.
You can't get away from Billy Joe. Oh, and by the way, I mean, not to, first of all, I love that,
that's why you have the door to them, right? It's like, you get to dork out about all these things
and you shouldn't know all of them, right? That's right. Yeah. Right. You get to whatever,
it's whatever anybody likes individually and it genuinely, it can be anything. So who's, so
Tommy Lee, Neil somebody. Vince Neil. I'm like Vince Neil. There we go. Vince
Phil, Tommy, Nikki six. That's a great name. Yeah, so good. It's so good. That's a man. Okay, okay.
Oh, look him up. By the way, look him up in their heyday and you're going to be like, why him?
Like, that's the one I wanted to be with, even though I didn't know what that meant.
Oh, are you kidding? This guy, this guy looks like he'll sit around and discuss the big issues,
no? Um, that's him now. I feel like go back. Oh, that's him now too. Go back to the one
make up on his face. For sure. Like he had two, like, black. Oh, he's this guy. He's, is this
pixelated image? Is this the pixelated image? Okay. Thanks. He has spiky hair and then he has two,
like, he played football. Was he blonde? No, that's, that's Vince Neil. Everyone else was
brilliant. Oh, I see. Oh, what? He probably did that on purpose, right? Oh, yeah. And
actually, I feel like he was the last person I met that he's aged pretty well for a guy who
did heroin. No, he does look like he decided to have a child when he was 50. Anyway, that's
good. I think he has a lot of children. Um, I'm trying to, I'm trying to go back in time,
but it turns out that guy is willing to be photographed well into his 50s. Oh, yeah, yeah, I think
he probably has a hot model life, you know, until I, I decided to marry him. No, wait until,
oh, wait a minute. Is he? Wait, did he? Yeah, did he have like a kiss thing going?
Um, he, I think that is him, but it's coming out like he has a mustache.
No, it's, it's a, it's sort of he's wearing white face, which still isn't politically ideal.
Maybe, maybe we'll cut that out too. Okay, I got ready. It's not going to be in the clips. Oh,
there he is. Oh, good one. And he looks pretty, yeah, he looks like he's, he's about to shred like
hell. He is, but he is hot. He is a bass player because, because he stole his first, um, guitar,
and it ended up being a bass, and he didn't know it. So that's why he's a bass player. Oh,
that's, uh, that's funny. So that, that, that must have been a fun fact in one of the books. Yeah,
so, and, uh, possibly this video. And Motley Karone censored,
parents out might have that information as well. Oh, we get to sell this after this podcast.
Like, do you still have that? I'll split it up eBay. We can look it up on eBay and find out that
everyone was willing to buy that for $12 on 11 cents. But, um, so what was your,
what was your, what is, can you tell me what your favorite Motley Karone song is?
Do you have such a thing? And because, or the music video? Okay, I think I said 30 seconds
before 10 seconds to love is like my, I always like that song. It's one of their first ones.
And then I would say home sweet home is like, you know, I don't, I forget your music knowledge,
but these bands all started doing like, um, a ballad. What would they call the rock ballad?
The white snake. Here I go again. Yes. Yes. Yes. That's the only one I know. Oh, and
guess is Beth. Those are the two rock ballads. I know. What was Motley Cruise called?
Are you sure you don't know home sweet home? I probably do. Home sweet home. Here's what you get
to do, by the way, if you want to, if you choose to accept this, you could make a Spotify or an
Apple or an Amazon list of eight songs. Okay. Of these three bands. And I will listen to those
songs. And then I will do that for you. Was that fun? And then, uh, because that's some,
sometimes, uh, the reason it is, uh, but cut down to eight, I tell the story every time. Uh,
Marie Valeriano is a delightful comic and, uh, a very nice man. And he did an episode of
you two, but you two, he gave me a USB stick. Remember those? That's how long ago it was.
Probably a dozen years ago that he was with 111 new two songs on it. And I said to him,
you just gave me a free USB stick. I'm not listening to these songs. Eight songs. I'll listen to
eight of anything. Three of each. Three of each. Uh, we, we can negotiate. Okay. Okay. It's, uh,
yeah. Uh, I may scrub through one. Is what I'm saying. I'll do six. Two of each. Someone can't,
yeah. I'll do it on the side of, all right. Do less, but air on the, the side of what I want to do.
Because all right. Do whatever you want. Don't just, uh, try not to bring it over eight.
But do each kid. No, I may not listen to the, uh, okay. So Motley crew after 10 seconds of love when
I go home, sweet home. Girls, girls, girls. Again, I don't know what I was thinking as a, as,
as a young girl. I was, I was, I was, I was, I am, I, I was a professional dancer. I was like,
really like into dance. I competed and all that. So at that point, girls, girls, girls comes out.
It's any, it's set. The video is set in a strip club. And I'm like, I need to be in that video.
And wow. Yeah. But I don't like know what you are. Right. Because you're a dancer. Yeah.
You're not a stripper dancer. Right. Which is a valid job. But okay. So finally, and I need to,
I need to fight my motorcycle and switchblade knife, handful of grease in my hair feels right.
What I need to make really neat. Girls, girls, girls, girls, long legs and burgundy lips.
You know, to tell the Sunset strip, you're welcome. Yes, trick or treat, sweet to eat on how we
in a New Year's Eve, Yankee girls, you just can't be beat. But they're the best when they're off
their feet. Hey, Charmer. And yeah, it's a, well, I mean, at least, you know, you know,
you know, some of the lyrics of the 70s and 80s, you're just like, I think that statutory rape.
At least this doesn't seem like that. This seems more. And they're older now.
They're, you know, they're, they're, they're, yeah, they're going to a lot of strip clubs. I mean,
they're deaf. I feel like I feel like at that point, two of them probably are three married
strippers. And again, shout out to the strippers. It is a great, I mean, you know, like I'm all for that.
But I just mean like in, it's really funny to me as a 12 year old going, I want to be a group
being a stripper just because I see dance and I see beautiful women. And I'm like, yes,
yeah, that's what I, yeah. Well, that's, that's it. I mean, I, I watched grease when I was like
nine years old. And it is filthy. And, but I was like, I want to be Rizzo, you know, that's who I
wanted to be. And, yeah, she's 32. And go to high school. And she crushes that role.
You know, if I went back to high school at 32, I bet you I would have crushed it too. And,
but I, you know, I remember watching it after like in college and after college and going,
holy shit. Yeah, it's, well, what about, uh, I'm starting a night fever.
Oh my god, the rape scene, I never saw it until it was shown one night. They were like, it's
all about disco. And so I went with my nephew. And he was, he wasn't that old. And I was like,
wait, what is happening on this bridge? And 30 minutes are horrible. It's just a freaking
nightmare. Uh, and, and all you see are clips of, of, of what's this face with the, with the
dance and the music and the music, right? Like you're like, this is the best. Yeah. It's actually,
I mean, I don't want to, I mean, grease is so quick and cutter compared to that, but is that
that side of probably relationships, you know, that they're, they're in incinuations like, how
they like, I don't want to say it. It's all in you and no shit. Yeah, like, like, you know, like,
you know, I, you know, the girl that loves, um, that, that loves, uh, um, incinionate fever.
Like just like, let me just touch you, you know, and the dismissiveness and, and the same thing
with grease with all the guy, you know, like, again, I think it's the best dance. I have, I,
actually, I should have said dorkdom would have been my favorite dance scenes in movies. And that
is like number one or two. That, that, that, that's prom scene. That last, oh, the prom scene,
the prom scene. Okay. All right. Watch it. We have to watch that. I'll watch it. I'll watch,
I'll watch the prom scene from grease. And because I'm done above it. And I'm sure it's streaming
and I know I have the DVD. So, um, because I got, I got some DVDs, you guys. Uh, yeah, I was thinking
about, like, like, sort of the, but, but, but, but, but, but, but coming out that same, it's sort of like,
why are minds were all blown by say anything? Right. Did you ever see the movie say anything with
John Cusack? Yeah, yeah. But there's a scene in it where they're, he's at the gas and sip on a
Saturday night and he's talking to the four guys who are just saying, bitches, man, find someone
who looks just like a banger and a dumper.
You know, like the advice is from one douche nozzle
after another until the punchline of a 12 year old
going bitch is man.
Yeah, I got a role.
Anyway, but the, but he was like,
well, why are you guys no girls anywhere?
You know, out of gas, except on a Saturday night
in Tatecock, we choice, man.
And you're like, uh, no.
So, but I like it was, it was a real turning point.
And some of the movies at that time,
just because it had gone kind of batshit
with the, the porkeys and the, the 16 candles.
And yeah, we're in, yeah, I feel like, you know,
I mean, this is the whole different.
I love movies to come back then.
And I can, I can put it in the box kind of thing
and be like, you know, right, right.
Like how does it hold up?
And what I can be a slight apologist for different.
Yeah, sure, sure, because it's, it's so much like,
oh my god, I love that movie, though, even, you know, the problems.
But it is, it is interesting to be like, it is this, just, yeah,
like the way they portray, not just women, but the relationship to,
yeah, right?
Like it's, it's, it's, yeah.
But anyway, I was all for it and girls, girls, girls,
when they're strippers and, I wanted to be a blanket.
Maybe it is because of our upbringing, right?
Like I'm like, that's what I want.
Like isn't that one, you know, like you get to gock at me,
I get to be pretty on stage.
And maybe I could be alright at some point.
Right, right.
And maybe you buy me a sweater.
It'll be great.
Anyway, it's weird.
What about, what about, on Jovi?
What are, what are your favorite?
Okay.
We're a couple of songs of those or, yeah.
Can I say one more of Motley Crew?
I would say then when Motley Crew, this is why I feel like,
it's such an interesting.
If you were, I wasn't a head banger.
I wasn't like, you know, like I think you said,
you had a guest that like had like really, like mega death,
like, like slash metal, but maybe that was a term too.
So Motley Crew is not that, but later on,
like they're on Regis and Kelly.
And then you're like, wow, that's,
they could become this household name, right?
For so many reasons, I couldn't even tell you the reasons why.
One of them might have be that he marries Pamela Anderson.
Tommy Lee married so many famous people.
What did he, oh wait, how many times does Tommy Lee been married?
Oh, I don't know that, but before Pamela Anderson
was that, oh, God, it's the cop.
Oh, you know her another blonde, we got to take our phones out.
Let's go just Tommy Lee's wife.
There's probably a whole page.
Tommy Lee spouses, Brittany Furlin, Pamela Anderson,
Heather Locklear?
That's the one.
Heather Locklear.
You're Lane Star Chuck.
Who's the one now?
Who's like the latest?
Oh, I don't even know.
He's Brittany Furlin, whoever Brittany Furlin is.
Well, it's Brittany Furlin as an American internet personality
and actress.
She was, she's 39 years old.
Ooh, and Tommy Lee is not.
That's what we know about Tommy Lee,
is that he is not 39 years old.
Yes, so when they, by the time they're on like Redis and Kelly,
they come out with this doctor feel good.
And that has some really like again,
it's if you take from the beginning to then
and I think doctor feel good is really great.
And like a lot of those songs.
Okay, done with them.
Bon Joly, favorite song.
But wait, I will say Tommy Lee is 63.
And somebody told me that the rule is as you can't date anyone,
you got to go half your age plus seven.
Oh, so I guess he didn't.
So 39, fairly.
But he, right, but who knows when they started?
I mean, when did they get married?
And I think that's all 2019.
If I were to, first of all, if I were to date disappointing,
I'm in a monogamous relationship.
But if I were to, right.
Yeah, they've been together since 2019.
So she would have been seven years younger, 32 or 33.
And, so he would have been 56, I guess, or something.
Yeah, I guess it still works.
Yeah, probably.
But if I were to, like if I were to date someone who was like 33,
what, I don't know what I would do with that.
That would be awkward.
We have this conversation a lot, because, you know,
when you hear about another guy dating a 19 year old,
or, you know, anyone in office right now.
But, you know, you're like, what do you have in common?
What are you talking about?
Yeah.
And for me, it would be like, uh, yeah.
Like I've lived so much life at this point.
And I feel like also like, you know, I've been to therapy.
I've done this so like, I can't imagine.
Let's see.
I would feel like, I would feel like the library.
Like they'd be like, whatever.
What do you think?
What movies should I be watching?
And then they would sort of mind my childhood by life
for movies and music and fashion and stuff like that.
And it wouldn't feel, it wouldn't feel like a real partnership.
Right.
When you feel like it, yeah, you feel like you're teaching someone.
I mean, unless, unless this, look at me, this child at 20,
what do you say at half my age plus seven?
Mm-hmm.
So that's 25 plus seven.
That's 32.
Ah, that's not too bad.
But I would say that.
I'm still in their 30s, but.
Yeah, they're in their 30s, but I've met someone.
I'm like, oh, they all look 20.
They all look 20 because they act 20,
because I need them to know things.
And I feel like that's my being smart
and even just being like picking a restaurant.
Like pick a restaurant, have a thought.
And so if that's not right, making a decision.
Yeah, yeah, it's a, I do get sick of picking the places.
Yeah, where you're just like, is there some place you like?
Cause we can, I mean, I will go to the place I like forever.
And I hope you like it.
And then if you don't, I'm going to try real hard not to care.
Because you were offered an option to be the picker.
And you said no, and you said no.
So drink to that.
That's it.
You didn't tell me what the drinking game was, by the way.
Oh, it was when I didn't know who someone is.
Oh goodness.
People are trying to help out.
Yeah, they're trashed.
It's tell me, it's tell me Lee.
It's, it's, if anyone else needs a shot, Mick Mars.
You don't know who that is.
And he knows who that is.
Yeah, he's the old one.
Okay.
He died.
Oh, he's the drummer guy.
The drummer.
No, Tommy leads the drummer.
And Mick Mars is the base.
No, I'm sorry.
He's the guitar player.
And he was the oldest when they were 18 at like 20 something.
But he's not doing well.
I don't think he tours anymore with them.
Like he.
Okay.
They'll literally wheel them out every once in a while.
Oh, wow.
And then, and they, so they did stop doing heroin.
Yes.
I think they did affect their, their production over.
Okay.
I'm sorry.
Yeah.
Did, did, did, did you think it affected their product?
Like who writes most of the songs in mom?
Oh, good question.
I think my man, Mick Nikki Six does.
All right.
Yeah, I think he, excuse me.
I think he writes a lot of them.
But it might be collab between him and Tommy and him and Mick.
I don't think things.
Okay.
Okay.
It's, well, you know, because that's where the big money is, is where the lyrics and the,
yeah, excuse me.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I found that out.
Hard way.
No.
No.
I mean, like from their books.
Oh, okay.
It was a from Molly.
You're one censor.
They told me.
I knew I had a very young age about that about royalties.
You were like, no, no, you got to get in there, right?
So the Christmas song.
Hey, do any of these bands have a Christmas song?
A Christmas album?
That's just a cash cow.
I think, yeah, I think I, I think Bon Jovi does.
I would be surprised if Bon Jovi did, because they seem the most of it.
So guns and roses probably know, because they're the most respectable of the three of them.
Is that what you're telling me?
Yes.
Are they, are they musically?
Yep.
And they couldn't keep their shit together after one album.
Like, the drummer is out after, I don't even know if he makes it to the tour or through
the tour, I should say.
Oh, my gosh.
All right.
Yeah.
He goes into rehab.
And do you watch any of those reality shows?
No.
Okay.
Either do I.
But there's one like rehab.
I think it's called rehab and he's on that.
Okay.
So it was the guy who played Kadecki.
Yeah.
He looked like he had, he died.
Yeah, he died.
Yeah.
He was dancing.
Oh, he died.
But I would say that about Grace.
He's, he's hammered in Grace.
He's hammered shooting Grace.
Yeah.
Yeah.
There's no way.
And he said his 30s as well.
They're all in there.
Yeah.
But really it was, I mean, such a great movie, such a great movie.
Yeah.
He's great in that movie.
I hate to know that he's addicted, you know, or anything like that.
I'm like, and I wish you, yeah, I wish you would have got better, but he, yeah, I guess
he did that.
So I cannot, I can't go on stage with having had one drink.
Like it's just like all of a sudden, I feel like I'm, um, my words are like, did I skip
a word?
I mean, my head, it slows you down just a heartbeat.
Right.
Unless, unless that's how you work, you know, like I'm sure some people, yeah, sure,
it does something for them, but I've never been able to do it.
Uh, I, uh, drank to excess, uh, immediately, anyway, so, but it was like, yeah, but the,
the, it is, it is truly, it is truly different.
By the way, I am talking with Joanna Ross, you guys, and Joanna Ross, you should know, uh,
it's hot Joanna dot com.
That is a reference to Barry Manipaus.
And how many?
Full menopause.
Full menopause.
Full menopause.
Don't be shy.
Yeah.
Full menopause.
Uh, hot 50 is the name of the new special April 16th is, uh, when the album comes out a
week from that, the video comes out.
And, uh, if you go to at Joanna 33 Ross, it'll be of the notes.
Um, you can find her Instagram and you will be alerted to what's going down.
Um, thank you.
So it's, it's great to meet you.
This has been, uh, super fun.
Yeah.
It's really great to meet you.
Like seven more hours of, uh, what, and you have 10 more minutes.
You have 10 more minutes to tell me whatever you want to tell me, but I just wanted people
to know.
Yeah.
Oh, no, I, I, I super appreciate that.
I'm like, um, we're talking about Motley crew now and guns and roses.
Who are you?
Why are you giving my, my handle Joanna Ross?
What is, what's happening?
Yeah.
Give my phone number out for any of the bands that we're talking about.
Um, okay.
So Steven Adler, he's the one, he's out immediately and he, uh, from guns and roses.
Steven Adler is not the name of a rock star.
It is.
Steven Adler.
Yeah.
He's, yeah.
You know, I have friends in the Adler's well, and they could rock and their son has a lot
of hair.
So, um, maybe it's, it could happen that you're related to someone or know someone that
knows guns and roses and we, if you don't call me roses, talk to me.
Okay.
I will let you know if, if the Adlers are related to Steven Adler, I will find this.
Yes.
Please.
No, Andy has been friends with the Adlers for decades.
Uh, they are not related.
There you go.
Okay.
Uh, I do know this.
The Adler's father was, um, a Supreme Court, uh, like intern, lawyer guy, like fancy civil
rights.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And his mother, an amazing mediation, like, like extraordinary, like fantasy.
And how do you know these people?
Well, Andy went to college with their son.
Okay.
But now he plays Steven Adler.
Oh.
Oh, and no.
And, uh, and Judy Adler's, but on the show, escape rooms were discussed if I remember
correctly.
Never been one.
There she's been on.
You'd ever done one?
Uh, you're allowed to leave.
That was the main thing I needed to know.
Okay.
I actually don't want to be trapped.
Mm-hmm.
And they're like, no, you can leave.
We're keeping your 35 down.
Oh, okay.
Okay.
That seems a fair exchange if I, for some reason, we're going to have a tiny panic attack
and think that I was really about to be launched to the moon.
And he would have given you 70.
I'm going to give him 70 to be like, well, you get out.
Okay.
Great.
Um, yeah.
So, uh, hmm.
Where do I go?
What does he play?
He played the drums.
He was the drummer.
And he got out before the paint was dry on the logo.
Is what that was?
Yeah.
It was, yeah.
They kicked him out.
He was apparently, he couldn't like, he, he, he was addicted to everything and just couldn't,
which is so weird because they're all such huge partyers.
He's like, but this is too much.
Yeah.
I mean, yeah.
I think when you can't show up and do your job because I didn't, this is from what has
been put out there.
It's like, Axel was again so demanding, so like this, this is, this is rehearsal time.
You can't make it.
You're, you know.
They're all, again, young and having such success, they're like, I don't want it, you
know what I mean?
Like, what are we doing?
So, yeah.
Have a look.
Like every year someone leaves and it's just because they're miserable.
They're miserable with him and it's like, they have so much success and so much money.
And they are back together now.
We did see them about, I think before the pandemic, we spent way too much money.
But I was like, I've never seen them because again, I, I'm too young to.
I take myself to all these things and like my parents are like, absolutely, yeah.
So, um, so Guns and Roses was the one that I had not seen.
I had, at that point, seen Bon Jovi twice.
And so I, we did get to see him and it was really cool that I got to see them.
And again, most of them are there except, you know, Steven Adler, but Slash is there,
Duff McKagan's there, Axel.
And I did see Slash in LA person, like live and impersonation.
I couldn't move.
I was just like, this is, this is my gosh.
I mean, he has curly hair and a head.
Wait a minute.
You know him.
I saw him at a restaurant and people kept pointing and I was told that that was Slash
from Guns and Roses.
And I was like, oh, yeah, they're bad.
And so, um, like it's a margin, if you're, if you're playing the drinking game, just
down whatever you have in your hands right now after that.

That's planseapills.org.
This is, this is genuinely my favorite story of me not knowing Sarah Silverman is dating
Michael Sheen, famous actor, Michael Sheen from Frostingston.
We're all in the green room.
He gets up and leaves the green room.
And I say to Sarah Silverman, so what does he do?
Love it.
And Sarah Silverman says, are you getting?
And I was like, oh my god, is he famous?
And she goes, hmm, he just got nominated for an Oscar.
And I reach my phone and she was like, oh, please, please do check.
And so he was super nice is what I'm saying.
And he now hosts, he's going to be the new host of a game show in England called House
of Games.
Okay.
Richard Ossman's House of Games, which he is not Richard Ossman's desire to retire from
hosting House of Games because he wrote a Thursday murder club and probably is printing money.
And so it doesn't have to or want to.
So he's still.
Okay.
I feel like if I lived in LA, but maybe we can still be friends Jackie, that I don't live
in LA because I pride myself, I do, I do teach yoga and pride myself on not knowing
what any of my clients are in like, what Maria has told me that she has started taking
yoga and the new yoga place, Maria Bamford.
And she cannot stand it.
Yeah.
So she puts a podcast on and then just tries to copy everyone.
And she says her yoga teacher is driven slightly mad.
But she's like, wait, wait, wait.
I just try to stretch for an hour.
So she puts on a podcast and goes to yoga.
No, no, no, no, you can't do that.
She has like ear buds in.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Because she doesn't like the teacher's voice, whatever.
The pattern.
I don't know what the, do this, do that.
She might feel like, well, if I can't do it, I don't want to feel judged.
Even though the teacher can't possibly be judging her.
I don't know.
I don't do classes.
I would like to do classes, what I would like.
I have an online yoga class that you should tell her to take because my mother is in it
and she's 84, so anyone can, you know, like, but I will tell her what to do.
Because I'm a big, I'm a big alignment person.
But she'll come, she does get the low back.
She, it's one of her least favorite things is to be touched on her low back.
Oh, I can't touch her on video.
So.
Yeah, yeah, there you go.
She could do the video.
I love it.
You didn't know who he was, by the way.
I think it's great.
I think people must appreciate that.
Like, yeah.
Well, it does feel like everyone's slightly more human when they beat me.
I, yeah, I met, I met, I met Damon once and I knew who he was.
So he said, he liked my set and he said, you were great.
And I said, well, this is neat.
And then he went away and then a couple of hours later, he was kind of hammered.
He came up and he said, you were really funny.
And I, and I knew enough to go, thank you, because that's the correct answer, the correct
answer.
You said to me, people twice, that's it.
You know what?
You're not wrong.
Once I meet them the second time, especially in a night, I can remember.
But I only have about 600 slots in my brain.
So if you don't get a slot, I got to be reintroduced to you a hundred times.
And I feel bad about it.
But I also, I try not to beat myself up about it because I've eaten so many people.
You know, I think, I always go with the, I like when people, you know that they're acting
like, I don't know you, but I know I might have met you, like, that's all you have to
do, right?
Just being nice about it, right?
Right.
Yeah, yeah, completely.
And I'm always like, I don't know if you remember me, I, you know, like, you know, or
what?
Three years, David Cross.
I would always say, Jackie Cation.
Good to see you, David.
And you, by the third year, he was like, Jackie Cation, why not?
But it, but I always say my name just because nobody, you know, it's not, it doesn't cost
me anything.
Nothing.
It doesn't even cost my ego anything to do it because what do I care?
I think it takes you to go out of it.
Right.
Because I'm saying my name, I'm like, oh, I don't expect you to.
I'm not it, you know, like, that's how I, that's how I put it in my brain.
I'm like, let me just do this so it's not awkward for me.
Right.
For me.
Like, guess what?
We used up some of the time, just talk, yeah, but that's okay.
Do you want to do the eight songs and send it to me and I'll, I'll post it.
Oh, I absolutely will.
Where, what do I send it to?
Well, you send it to my email, Jackie, Jackie Cation.
Okay.
Great.
Great.
You make it on whatever, like I have, I never bought Apple Apple and I never got into
Spotify when Spotify was huge and now everybody's evil.
And I accidentally, when I bought a couple of albums on Amazon, they gave me digital copies.
And so now I have Amazon.
So that's what I listen to.
And they're also gross.
So I mean, yeah, there's nothing to be done.
There's nothing to be done.
So make it on whatever of those, because I have all three of those apps.
You can put it on band camp.
You do whatever you want.
Okay.
Album is going to be on band camp, right?
Yes.
I'm doing a Ross, you guys.
Pretty excited.
Joanna.
Because of Metapos, hot, 50 is the name of the album and the name of the special April 16th
is when it all begins, all will be in the notes.
Thank you so much for doing.
I know more now.
So I appreciate it.
I, I, I feel like I did something in the world today.
Yeah.
I love it.
I love it.
Rangers, you know, the rules out there.
Take care of each other.
My hat, my hat, my hat.
They're dancing around my hat, my hat, my hat, my hat.
Well, what do you think?
Go that if it looks like a Mexican hat dance and it sounds like a Mexican hat dance.
It's most likely a Mexican hat dance.
So take off your hat and let's dance.
Yay.
Oh my God.
We, why don't we just call that as the end of the show?
The Dork Forest
