Joe Siddall Joins Blue Jays Broadcast Team

The Toronto Blue Jays have tapped former catcher Joseph at all as their main color commentator,

stepping in for retiring Buck Martinez.

Sportsnet confirmed Dan Schillman returns for play-by-play duties with Hazel May and

Arden's Welling handling sideline reports.

Studio coverage features Jamie Campbell, Caleb Joseph, and Madison Shipman, while Ben

Nicholson-Smith and Shedeviti offer insights and Ben Schillman.

Plus Chris TheRoo, Manage Radio.

Siddhal, a 58-year-old from Windsor, Ontario, will call between 125 and 130 games alongside

Schillman.

He played briefly in the major starting in 1993, appearing in 73 games across three teams

with a 169 average and one home run.

This March the Jays' 50th season since debuting in 1977.

Fans appreciate Martinez' long legacy with the team, from six years as a player and parts

of two as manager to decades of broadcasting for the Jays.

And beyond, the club honors him with induction into the New Hall of Excellence on August 29th,

upgrading their level of excellence recognition.

Meanwhile, the Jays kick off the season on March 27th against the Oakland Athletics,

pitting Kevin Galsman in his final year of a five-year.

Severino shown on the row last year, with a 6 and 2 record and 3.02 ERA, despite a tougher

overall season.
