At 53, Josh Duhamel says he feels better than he did in his 30s.

Host Dave Asprey sits down with actor and Gatlan Health founder Josh Duhamel to talk testosterone, peptides, nootropics, brain health, fatherhood, and what it takes to stay strong as you age.

Josh shares why he started TRT in his early 40s, what changed once he began tracking his hormones, and why he decided to build a health company around hormone optimization. They also discuss injectable testosterone, GLP-1s, peptide quality, hair loss treatments, stem cells, and the importance of medical guidance when experimenting with longevity tools.

The conversation also gets into cognitive performance, including Josh's past struggles with forgetting lines, his interest in nootropics, and Dave's experience with Modafinil and Aniracetam. Josh explains why having a newborn and a toddler at 53 has made longevity more personal, while Dave and Josh explore the connection between physical health, spirituality, breathwork, psychedelics, and mental performance.

This is essential listening for anyone interested in testosterone, TRT, peptides, nootropics, brain health, GLP-1s, healthy aging, fatherhood, hormone optimization, and longevity.

I feel better now than I did in my early in the 30s. I'm not even kidding you, I joints, my back, my knees. I just feel stronger because nobody's talking about it. Everybody's doing it. The agency that I'm no longer with, but they said, don't do it. It's bad for your image. Maybe I'm going to get made fun of in the town for having this company. And there's so many guys out there who would love this information. You're actually saving lives. You're in listening to the human upgrade with Dave Asprey. Modaphanol is one of my favorite cognitive enhancers forever, and I've been taking it for more than 20 years, which is why this episode is brought to you by Mod. Mod prescribes a once or twice daily Modaphanol drink that can keep you energized, focused, and alert throughout the day. In a way, you won't even believe. For the science nerds, here's how Modaphanol works in my brain and probably yours. It's a wakefulness drug, not a stimulant that works on several systems in your brain. It activates something called Orexin, which is your brand chemical that helps to keep you awake,

that isn't stimulant. Modaphanol also increases dopamine, which is going to help you be motivated and focused. And it affects histamine and neuropanephron, which can help to keep you alert. Scientists figured this out in the 1970s when they developed Modaphanol. And some of the highest performers on the planet, like me, have been using it since well about then. I only made it through Wharton Business School because I was taking Modaphanol. You'll find soldiers, pilots, astronauts, even big figures in the government who are in high-stake situations who use Modaphanol because it actually works in many clinical trials. I've been talking about and using Modaphanol for years. I broke the news about it on national news more than 15 years ago. And it's now available at mod.com to qualify in patients. Visit mod.com for a consultation. And you get 10% off your first order plus free shipping with promo code Dave. This is my favorite pharmaceutical performance dancer on the planet. If it's appropriate for you, the doctor is at mod.com can help you get it. See the website for important safety information. And thanks, mod, for sponsoring the podcast. You really can't biohack your way around a broken gut because everything starts in your microbiome.

It's tied to your immune system, your brain, your metabolism, even how well your body responds to everything you do. So your microbiome is off, your supplements, just deliver less energy, less of what you're paying for. And I have tried a lot of probiotics. OmniBiatic is one of my favorites and I use it regularly. Most probiotics never make it past your stomach acid. And the top probiotic brands in the US average a 7% survivability rate. OmniBiatic reaches about an 83% survivability rate. That means when you take it, it actually gets where you want it to go. Probiotics aren't a one size fits all. If you want better stress resilience or better recovery, detox support, better metabolic health, they make different formulas to get you different results. My favorite is OmniBiatic heatox. Clinical studies show heatox supports your liver function and improves cardio metabolic markers. Lower is lipopolysaccharides. This is a toxin that got bacteria make that is tied to aging and brain fog. Something I have a particular problem with giving my genetics. So that's why I love OmniBiatic. Find the formula that fits you at omnibiaticlife.com. Use code Asprey, 20% off your first order.

I really like their formulas. Guys, I'm doing breath work here with Josh Jamal, who's best known for his role in Netflix's Dawson Creek. Oh, there's something like that. Something like that. Ransom Canyon. Hey, I would have been stoked to be on Dawson Creek back in the day. I auditioned for that show about 12 times. Never got it. You did not. Yeah. Wow, okay. I was just messing with you. I know. It's, I once told the lead guitarist from STP, I'm like, oh, you're a nickel back just to see what he was saying. He left his ass off here. I love nickel back. I think they're good. I think nickel back is awesome. They don't get their respect, but their music is legit. They get disrespect. Yeah, I don't get it. I like nickel back, but it was so funny. Yeah. I don't know if there's stone temple pilots, but they're pretty damn good. Yeah, I'm not going to play him out either one. Well, you might be wondering why would I have Josh on the show other than the fact that he's famous and good looking

and all that kind of stuff. But let's face it, there's a lot of famous good looking actors because that's like why they pay you, I guess, because you work the time it does in man. But he's got a story and he actually started a health company called Callin' Health because he got so into undoing what the lifestyle of working that industry does to you. And we're going to go through like, what does it take to have a brain that works and a body that works and just what he's discovered on his path and pretty excited to talk with him because we're going to get deeper than you might expect. So officially welcome that show. That's a little scary. I don't know if I can go that deep. You can do it. I have faith in you. I have faith in you. I have faith in you. I have faith in you. I have faith in you. I have faith in you. I have faith in you. I have faith in you. I have faith in you. I have faith in you. I came up with the airport and I said, I'll try. You know you're taking a Uber, right? Exactly. That's true. That's true. But I can definitely try to go as deep as day. But I don't, you can. I can just go as deep as you. I'll go as deep as me. All right.

There we go. No. That's not for a deep. No, it wasn't that deep. In the last like three, four years, there's been a big shift. You got every pro athlete. Most people in entertainment and music have at least gotten a blood test before that. It's like I got a Mayo clinic every now and then, once I'm 50, but it was unmanaged. Yeah. When did you decide you were going to get the data? You know, it was, when I really started taking the data seriously, it was about five years ago. Okay. So you're pretty early. Yeah, I'm not very long into this, but I've had a serious fascination curiosity about it. And I've tried this stuff for many years, but I never really got into the actual numbers and understood the numbers. Until recently. Okay. What was the most surprising thing you discovered in your data? I eat pretty healthy and I had high cholesterol. Yeah. Do you even worry about high cholesterol still? I don't know. Should I? Probably not. I mean, I just in general, you know, everything in moderation, including moderation for me.

I like pizza, I like burgers, but I also try to eat a lot of healthy, you know, organic stuff too. Everything in moderation is kind of lame. Like, hand grenade check, those are moderation. No. So I'm going to say there are some things you probably just don't want to eat. They're going to live a long time. You're not moderate about. But do you eat pizza? If I make it myself and doesn't have all the bad shit in it, see, that's the thing is you're on the next level. That's why I'm here today is to, you know, figure out it because I do. I will eat McDonald's. I will eat, I will eat depending, but then I'll go on a streak where I'll just eat, like nothing but clean food for two weeks. I don't think it's a problem for most people to cheat, but you got to understand what is a kryptonite food for you. So I've got a genetic thing called EDS. So I have a leaky gut by definition. I don't know if I'm just making a call to write. So if I eat crappy food, I also have another gene that causes tissue destruction. When things leak past my gut, so I feel it more in the average person. And you could say, well, that's all right. Dave, you eat all your weird, clean food, but I can handle it. But the fact you can handle it, doesn't mean you're not taking a hit.

You just don't take the same size of hit that I do. Yeah, and I feel like shit afterwards, man. Right. It never makes me feel better. It does in the moment, but it never makes me feel better. It's just a thing that I've sort of had since I was a kid, but we grew up on a lot of fast food. My mom was ahead of her time, actually, for health. For health. She was eating, she was ordering egg white omelets in the early 80s. And it was so embarrassing for me and my sister when she'd make them take the yolks out of the eggs. But she was on a something, and even beyond that, she's always been kind of out there. And so we did eat healthy, but we also got to go to Burger King in order of whoppers. It was kind of funny. I moved my kids to a regenerative farm that we built on Vancouver, violence so I could raise them. Like the best everything. And they know how they feel when they eat really good. And then they food-chamed our nanny because she went to McDonald's. They never been. And we'd gone there to pee, but my daughter was, I don't know, six or seven. And she rolls down the window, and goes, I'll have a poopy chemical latte, please. Except running a big coffee company.

We know about pink coffee. And the nanny's like, ah. They came home and I said, all right, Anna. People eat fast food because it tastes good. It's convenient and it's cheap, right? And that's valid. And so we don't judge other people for that. So what we're gonna do is we're gonna go to McDonald. And we're gonna eat. We're gonna get the toys. We can play on the play structure. You'll get dessert and french fries and hamburgers and both kids, it sounds a little bit younger. They cross their arms like this. And they make these little faces. And they go, daddy, you can take us to McDonald's, but you can't make us eat. And I go, what are you talking about? It's gonna taste good. And they said, we don't like where our tummy's feeling. And it was that you have the power to choose how you feel and nutrition is a part of it. And so it's not that they perfectly at all. They just know the things that are like a bomb versus a thing that are okay. I can handle that. It tastes good, but it wasn't great. Yeah, and it's true. So you can cheat, but maybe it's cheating a way that you don't take half the hit. Like that's maybe part of biohacking too is, like if you like something, you don't have to lie to yourself. So it's so good for me when it's not, you can say this isn't good for me.

So I'm going to adjust myself so I can take the hit. So if you're gonna drink on occasion, one of the most popular things I ever published, like 14 years ago, is a road map for which alcohol makes you less hungover and what do you do when you drink? You can take glutathione. There's a genetically engineered probiotic that takes away about 80% of the aging damage from alcohol. So if you're gonna drink occasionally, you take a little flavorless shot of that stuff and the alcohol doesn't punch in the face as bad. So you take that before, and you can take charcoal or glutathione during it. And it doesn't, not as bad. It's never gonna be good for you, but if it's older than me, or if it's really good sushi, I'll have some sake, but it's very rare, like once or twice a year at the most. And it's just because I don't like the performance decline the next day. I like my brain, and it just, maybe more sensitive than some people do. So what happens when you go to Burning Man? You gotta do something. You don't drink at Burning Man, can you, only newbies drink there because, it's hot. Like you're not gonna last a week if you're drinking water. That's about it. Drink water, electrolytes, and there may be other substances

that are all good for Burning Man, but I wouldn't know. No, you wouldn't. No, I just wrote a book about psychedelics. So you gotta pace yourself, and not all psychedelics are equally safe and appropriate at the people you're doing with and all that kind of stuff. Listen, I'm with you. I used to be terrified of them. Yeah, I've tried it before, and I never had a bad experience, but I've had friends who have done the ayahuasca trips and all that. Stuff can be dangerous. I know. But some people swear by it. I mean, I think it depends on the hands that you're in. Yeah, much more so than any other substance with ayahuasca. And I like to do it with people who've been trained in the jungle by the people showing people. Right, exactly. That's what I would, if I ever did it, I would want to go that route too. Not some random person. And no shade on people who are working to make it accessible. You can do DMT, which is the same thing, which just has less of the, I think spiritual risk than the full blend, because there's something about the native traditional and that one. You said spiritual risk? Yeah.

What do you mean by that? Well, when I first did, I was in 1999. It went down to Peru. And no one was doing it then. And I just wanted to experience it, because I've been studying at monasteries and doing all the weird stuff. And so I asked around and they said, you're white. And I said, yeah, I know. It's only for locals. It's just for the animals. Yeah, like you won't like it. And I said, well, I'm not here to like it. I mean, I'm here to experience it. So they hooked me up with the shaman. I'm lucky it was a good one. And I had an experience with them. And I tried again for like 25 years. And in native cultures, you might do it like two or three times in your life, like during really big transitional periods, not like every weekend. And like I just worry, you see people like, I've done 87 times. When are you going to notice it's not working? I guess, and we can go on to whatever you want to talk about. Just let me talk about this for a second. Yeah, yeah. Why I felt like it was something that I'd at least try. Is because I've heard that you really have these spiritual experiences. You really, some people say they meet God or whatever higher power they believe in. What is that? Because I want that.

And I feel like I know. And you're like, we have to get into all this. Let's go there, but we won't do the whole show. Okay. I know. But I just want to know like what, like, is it, you don't even have to go into it at all. I just want to know, is it something, is it real or is it not? You know, some people can see more colors than other people. Yeah. So are the colors they see real? Kind of depends on your perspective. I mean, it depends on your own, your own, your own, through whatever lens you're looking through. Exactly. It's whatever lens you're looking through. And what's happening inside the body is, is the world that we really live in is a bunch of quantum interactions of fields. You can't see that. I can't see that. But we can prove it with math and philosophy and science. So your body doesn't see it. But your body doesn't see x-rays or radar or infrared. But we know they're there. And we know the quantum fields are there. So your body makes an interface to allow you to move around in quantum reality. You just can't see it in a conscious state. So in their minds, they're seeing what they perceive as God. They're seeing what they perceive as God. And a lot of people, though, will have that same experience

during certain types of breath, or like, colotropic breath work. In fact, that's more likely to get you there than a lot of psychedelics, including IA. And others get there, 20% of people report meeting God during orgasm at least once in their life. Right? So you can do it from breath work. Oh, God. Oh, God. So what they mean when they say that? I think so. I'm going to take it that way. So there's multiple paths to get there. And what I believe we're doing is we're just experiencing the world more the way our body experiences it. It's pretty weird out there. And there are very beautiful, very powerful higher powers there that I've had the fortune to connect with. And yeah, if you have a direct God experience, it is profoundly humbling. Yeah. I think you're doing good. And the one that stands out the most was only from breath work, no psychedelics. And I was working on a group healing on someone. And this something cracked open in the sky and was born through me. And like, I don't think I'm a really powerful, energetically powerful. I don't think I can carry this much current. Like this is going to fry my circuits. So I'm like, I don't know if this was supposed to do it

to this, but man, I've never thought of anything like that in my life. And this is what when you did what? I was like a group healing. We had like eight people. This was IA or this was this was breath work. It was at a Joe dispense at Vans retreat. And he does this thing where you get eight people who've spent days doing breath works well, pretty high, with no drugs. And we're all just working on healing someone who has a genetic disease. And I've never had that level of connection to the divine. And it was without the psychedelics. And there's a world of shamanic interaction, which is much more likely that you'll see on psychedelics, but that's not the God experience. God's the higher level. But what it is, we're connecting into the quantum fields. And you're just seeing it the way it really is. But you're not supposed to see it that way, because if you were on any psychedelic all the time, you wouldn't be able to eat or reproduce. And we're here to do those things. Right. It's a conundrum. But I do find that when people make that connection in some way, they become more embodied,

more deeply connected to themselves. There's something about all the stuff that we're going to talk about today. Yeah. I think it's interconnected with, it's not just about your body, but it's also about spirituality. It's also about mental health. It's about all these different things, because if I'm connected spiritually, I am way more healthy in my body, much more mentally fit. And I think all these things are intertangled in some way. If I'm not connected spiritually, I'm in sketchy territory. Yeah, I just need to be like, and I went to church the other day, we go to this church. I'm Catholic, but we also go to this Presbyterian church where my two girls are about to go for preschool. And they have the most beautiful music. They have the most amazing band that plays before. And it's like literally brings tears to my eyes. Every time I'm in there watching this, you can feel God in the room. And there's two people in there. Every Sunday, there's this guy that's just down there dancing, just feeling the music. I'm like, I want to be connected like that, dude. Yeah. I don't think I've ever been connected like that. And sometimes I'm not connected at all.

And I just, it's just one of those things that that's why I asked you about that. I want to ask you guys it. Maybe if I had like some humbling experience with God, I might be a little bit more consistent with my spirituality. Or you might be scared shitless too. It's pretty powerful stuff. And a lot of people do have bad trips or something. And those are usually re-experiencing early birth trauma or some other things. And it can be really cathartic. And but once you kind of clear out a lot of the friction in your system, it's easier to connect to higher levels. And there's a lot of forgiveness is necessary. That's the foundation of Christianity. Forgives them they know not what they do. And that's at the core of the 40 years in program here. Is we teach people to forgive with the body instead of the mind. And forgiveness is just letting go of a grudge. So anyone that's ever harmed you, if you like go to that grudge, you don't have to talk to them anymore. But then it no longer affects you. Yeah. I mean, you get a lot of hate as a celebrity. You get a lot of fans, but there's always trolls, right? Yeah. It doesn't matter what you do. And so I'm like, I didn't have that many of them.

I helped a lot of people. And then I went on the Joe Rogan show three times and he was an investor in a company that was copying my stuff. So he went on this campaign, like 18 months to cancel me, right? So all of a sudden I like 10,000 trolls intentionally targeting my site, you know, you're a self-snake oil and all this stuff. And man, it messed me up. And it took me about six months to realize, oh my God, like this is the same energy that happened in first grade. Yeah. Like with the bully. I was like, oh shit. And once I did that and I did this reset process on it, all of a sudden I'm like, every time Joe Rogan says, oh my bad man, I just saw more coffee. It didn't matter, but it sure mattered to me at the time. It's that kind of friction that holds you back from having that connection to just something greater. Yeah. That's why I don't read any of that stuff. That's a good strategy. I don't read any of it. I just, not, yeah, mostly because I just don't care so much anymore. I do sometimes. I know it's gonna affect me if I, yeah. And I also have this character defect that causes me to, if I feel disrespect, that I'll try to go back twice as hard. Oh yeah. And I just don't wanna do that.

I'm learning not to not let myself be negative. Ooh. That's good. I kinda like the trolls at this point because they're like toys and I, they say whatever mean thing, I just go, that's not what your mom said. I can't, it's like, they're just bullies. They grew up and they never stopped being bullies. So just massively insecure. Yeah, I just call it out for what it is. And some of them even become influencers and they're the ones like, everyone else is a jerk. You don't agree with me. Like, you can have a civil conversation. Or not, but I'm only interested in learning. And so I just, I'm highly amused by resurrosing everyone who's trolling is stuck in fifth grade. Yeah. Right. One thing that came out of this is that in my understanding of things, the body's an antenna for reality. And so when you get your body working, you are more spiritually connected, you're more connected to yourself, more connected to your family. When your body's dysregulated chemically or electrically or magnetically, whatever, you're less connected to the spiritual stuff. And just to yourself, right? Yeah, yeah, for sure. And that's all it's all intertangled, man.

Yeah. If one's off-kilter, it affects the other, it affects everything else. And that's why I like starting with the body. And that's what you ended up with, with Swaysart, Gatlin. Yeah. And I gotta ask you, I hear your own team said, don't be the face of a testosterone brand. Yes, they did. They, I want to tell you the agency that I'm no longer with, but they said, don't do it. Bad for your image. And I was like, all right, watch after it took me a while. I had to get over that for a little bit because I was like, maybe they're right. Maybe I'm gonna get, you know, made fun of in the town, traveling this company, but I was like, but my gut was, why not shine a light on this thing and make it okay? Because nobody's talking about it. Everybody's doing it. And there's so many guys out there who would love this information. You want to keep your strength and energy as you age, then you need to pay attention to your mitochondria. But you already know that, because they make the energy that your body needs, and aging makes them less efficient. And you also get worse at clearing out the old weak mitochondria. And that cleanup process is mytoffogy. Mytoffogy just takes the old worn out mitochondria

so your cells can get new healthy ones. And a really powerful compound that helps that process is GiroLithin A, and it's the key ingredient in mitochondria by timeline. It took them 10 years to discover this compound and prove that it works. And it's been a part of my longevity strategy for years. In the 16 week human trial, mitochondria increased mitochondrial renewal by 39% compared to placebo. Oh, and it increased the most strength by just 12%. No, he was not. He didn't need it. So there's been this black box warning on testosterone for a census 70s. And black box FDA warning means a warning could cause harm. And it was based on bad science. And in the world of longevity, we've known for the last 25 years that when men are on testosterone therapy and women on the right amounts, that their risk of dying from all causes goes down. So, okay, not dying is good, but how about caring about the reason you're here on earth? Like caring about being a dad, because testosterone raises dopamine. And then dopamine makes you motivated to do what you care about. So if you want to be a provider in the world, low T is your enemy. Yeah, it makes everything a lot harder, that's for sure. And I had low T in my early 40s. And so I really started looking into it. Did the research found somebody who I could find it from? You know, probably got some bad batches here and there. Didn't really have a quality sort of source. But I found that I was feeling better.

I had that that that I didn't have before in my 20s and 30s. And I said, this shit works. I got it. I want to learn more about this. And that's when I started to learn more about all the other stuff. And now HRT for women is amazing. It's literally like extends their youth. I was on stage with the head of the FDA when they announced that they were taking the black box boarding off hormone replacement for women. And the new standard of care is to give them hormone replacement at Paramount Paws. And he stood up and he said, we were wrong for 23 years. And it was because of a press release, not because of real science. And so we've got to be responsible for our own health. Because the government, I don't recall hiring them to be my doctor. It's not in the Constitution that they're my doctor. So what are they even doing? Yeah. Well, so much of it is there's other reasons for, you know, I love that you talked about how the testosterone really sort of can change your life and save your life in many ways and prove my life tremendously. But for women, the HRT, for the longest time,

they said that any therapy, a hormone therapy for women caused breast cancer. Yeah, it was nonsense. It was all nonsense. And now they're finding that it's okay. So all those poor women that were going through menopause and had all this, you know, the low estrogen and everything else for all these years could have supplemented that and not gone through as much menopause. Is that accurate? It is completely accurate. Or all the symptoms of menopause. Because when women avoid most of the symptoms, you might still have some depending on your genetics, but they're much less. But more importantly, after you go through Paramount Paws, you're in menopause, you can be physically in decline because you just don't have the hormones that make you feel like yourself. But so then you just get used to kind of being submissive or tired or angry. Yeah. And when your hormones are working, you become wise. And you actually embody the power that women actually carry. So a woman who are 50 plus who are on hormone replacement, they carry themselves differently and they have that lifetime of wisdom.

And they're the ones who make profound grandmothers. And I think are able to give back to society in a way that's been missing. Because we didn't take care of our men. It's just the same sucks that they had, that they were misguided for so long. I wonder if the guys who were selling concentrated horse urine as an artificial hormone replacement had something to do with that decision. I wonder if our pharmaceutical companies. Yeah. I don't know, man. I'm glad that we're here now. And I'm glad that we have information that is contrary to what we thought for so many years. And we can actually do something. We can actually stay stronger, younger, longer. And I feel like that's really why I did this is I just wanted to auto my own curiosity and fascination and my own vanity probably. But mostly because I have young kids, I want to be able to be a good dad and a physical and vibrant father for them physically for as long as I can. It's mentally for that matter. It's necessary for being a powerful father.

It really is. Because if you have enough testosterone, you're going to be able to bite your tongue when you want to say something mean to your kids. Self-regulation comes from having enough testosterone. Really? Oh, yeah. I did not know that. People have this stereotype. They're going to need more testosterone. Well, there's such a thing as a lot of it. But it takes enormous amounts. And usually the synthetic forms have that void rage that was a PR campaign in the 70s. People don't get void rage. If you get a lot of it, you might get more randy than normal. But you're not going to go out and get fights. It's not how it works. Right. It's like that ground whiskey. Yeah, that's the whiskey or just being a jerk. That grounded sense of power comes in. I'm the worst case. So when I was 26, my dog called as a first-long, jovety dog in the area, and I see my parents there as a Christmas present. And he says, Dave, I have bad news. What is it? You said your testosterone is lower than your mom's. It was, I was like exceptionally low. And I was drinking a pounds.

I had manbooths and all this stuff. And getting you now, dude, you look great. Oh, thanks, man. I'm like, I like to think of stuff like this. I can't believe you were 300 pounds. It's nuts. And I'm on testosterone. I've been on testosterone all but two years when I was testing out the diet, I recommended. And I have zero shame. Of course, I'm on it because I like the way I feel. Yeah. I'm saying we need to let our athletes have healthy levels, even if it's low. Let him take it. Because it's actually life-saving and life-affirming. I actually love that when Hegseth came out and wanted to incorporate within the military. Why not? We're not doing anything that isn't unnatural. I love that he's doing that. It was, it's such a great move. And one of the biggest things that a lot of people off, I don't know what. One of the big news agencies called me up to ask the interview me about it on a national news. And they're like, well, couldn't it be dangerous? And I said, oh yes, it's very dangerous to be low testosterone. We should all be on it. They start laughing. It is dangerous to be low testosterone. And I mean, I think we do hire our people

in the military because we pay them to be able to fight, be optimized. So they should have normal, healthy levels. And anyone who's against that, do you just hate humans? They just, yeah, contrairions everywhere. There's a ton of testosterone companies out there. What are you doing different in Galen? One thing we really wanted to do is focus on, we didn't want people to come to our company and not be able to have whatever questions they had answered. We have gone to a fully concierge model, which means that every person that comes to us has a fully licensed medical expert sort of guidance. They have their guy or their girl that they can call whenever they need an answer, which is huge because you don't have that everywhere else. And I really try to let people know you need somebody like that, whether it's your own doctor, whether you know where you're getting your stuff from, like ours is all 100% compound here in the USA, but in our own pharmacies, so we know that this is the top quality stuff, which is huge. We're competitive with everybody price wise. And we just want people to have the opportunity

to learn as much about the stuff as they can because when they do, they'll realize how much they can actually help them. And if you go to some of these other companies, they don't necessarily have the, kind of to do that on your own. So if you have a question, you'll have your own person and the stuff is delivered, like it's a fairly easy process. You just come in, meet your guy, your girl, your doctor. They will send you off to get your blood tested, depending on whatever it is you're trying to get done, low T, HRT, peptides, you're trying to, you know, hair, whatever it is you're trying to do, they'll be able to guide you. So when your blood tests come back, they'll give you the numbers, they'll tell you what they recommend, they order it, it gets sent right to your house. So the really easy process, couple little hurdles in the beginning, but after that, it's easy. And the hurdles are all because of regulations. Because we want them to do this right. We don't want people to be going on willing early with this. This is your body, this is your health. Make sure you're doing it the right way. It's also tough because there isn't an ideal number for total testosterone for men. We have the average, which is not what anyone wants. We know what it used to be, but individually, some people clear T really quickly,

some don't. And so when I'm working with high-end, concierge patients, some guys are super happy at 600. And some people need 1200, right? In order to get the mental stuff and the physical stuff. And the person who's ideal at 600, if you give them 1200, they're like, I'm getting bipples in my heart. You know, it's not what they want. I just want to fuck something. I'm not. What formed you use is this injectable? Injectable. I was doing the chisertrucks for a while. Yeah. Which also works in a pinch, but I just found that I just felt a little bit better on the injectable. Injectable gives you how often, how many times a week? I go three times a week. Three times. Yeah, more often is better. Because then you can keep your levels up there. I don't go ahead a lot every three times a week. Just keep it up there. Because typically, if I go, people go in like once a month to get it, it just goes up and then it's just down. And then you come back up. So that's the chisertrucks. The nice thing about that is that you do it twice a day,

and your levels are always kind of up there. Yeah. It clears really quickly. Yeah, it's only like a three hour life. So the body has high testosterone morning and then lower at night. It raises in the morning so you get morning wood. If you have enough testosterone and nitric oxide, that's why injecting three times a week is cool. And the other way that a lot of men do it is with a cream. The problem is you have little kids. And if you have testosterone cream in the house, and it's on your arm around the sheets, and it touches little kids, it messes them up. Really? I never thought about it like that. So the injectable or the oral is the way to go. Yeah. I was really worried. My little two and a half children is not needing more testosterone. He's a caveman. That's such a fun age. Oh, they may not have rubber. Hilarious. He just cracks me up, man. So the best kids are the absolute best. Having kids is amazing. It's also exhausting. Oh yeah. So how did you energy change after you had kids? How did what? Your energy change of your kids. What means that the co-gatlin, baby? It's how it's truly helps me because I feel like

I'm in a really strong, I feel better now than I did in my early, even in 30s. I'm not even kidding you. My joints, my back, my knees, everything. I just feel stronger and I wouldn't be able to do it. I have a three month old baby and a two and a half year old boy. And my oldest is about to be 13 tomorrow. Your hands are so full. So I've got a lot going on at the house. My poor wife thinks she's such a rock star. She's such a great mom. But when I'm home, we are on all day. It's either changing the diaper or it's on, we're potty training them now too. And it's, you want to go swimming? So I'm swimming. I'm just like, you got that? I got this. Okay, ready? It's just like, it's a tiring period of our life. This is about the most tiring it's going to be at then. It is. I had two similar age when they were, you know, you don't get to sleep. And in fact, even just smelling babies, lowers men's testosterone. Really? Yeah. There's this study about that, that baby smell. Lower is your testosterone? It's an evolutionary biology thing. So that's probably, you'll be less likely to go out and cheat or be biologic.

Oh, really? It does. So there's this thing where women kind of go into nesting mode and sometimes get like mama brain. And guys kind of go into like, like, lower T kind of just like, I'm right now taking care of these little ones. But it's not necessarily what you wanted to. It's just what Mother Nature did to optimize for survival. Yeah. You can be a better provider and a better dad if you keep your levels where they ought to be. Yeah. Because they're already low because you get microplastics and all the stuff. Right. I got something for you. Okay. First book. I'm having a really good time, Dave. Thanks for having me. You're so welcome. This is fun. It's like swapping notes. My first book was on fertility and pregnancy. Before I, Fred Kizmy, my former wife and mother with the children, was infertile. So I had to restore her fertility. Yep. I remember. I remember. You remember that, okay? Because the Gabby reached when you were talking about this. Yeah. Yeah. Just look at me. That was the very recent. So one of the things we came across was somebody called Natural Elimination Communication. You ever heard of this? Natural Elimination Communication. It turns out your three month old doesn't want, is it?

Boy or girl? Girl. So she just wanted poop herself. And they try to tell you. So every baby has a tell before they poop. And it's like a face thing or a shrimp. So all you do is you nurse them and then take them and bend their legs up like into their abdomen, put a little pressure on them and just hold them over the toilet, sorry over the sink when they're little and just be like, you know, it's time to poop and then they do it and they're so happy and you don't have to change the diaper. Yeah. I have changed. I've got this with one of my, the greatest was on the last movie I did. No way. He's basically potty trained, his kids from the very beginning. Yeah. So I mean, it might, my kids, I heard that before. Yeah. And there's like aggressive potty training. So what you did with your kids? It's, yeah, it's exactly what I did. But it wasn't even potty training really. It was like, hey, we're going to teach you to tell us and we're going to listen whenever you want to poop. So then they would always tell us even when they couldn't talk. So I probably changed less than 10 poopy diapers and that's what he was saying. Yeah. They still pee in the diaper sometimes, but they just, you know, fix themselves over the course of the first year or two whenever they're ready. But just not having a lot of poopy diapers was net positive for me.

So just to be clear, so what would you do? You, she would get, hear she, you have a boy and a girl, right? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. So they would, they would give you some kind of a tell you knew and so you'd go hold their little bodies over a toilet. Well, what you do first is every time you nurse, they're going to poop after the nurse, every time the nurse, you pick them up and you hold them over and you like, you like send your legs up, squeeze their knees, just don't use up into their abdomens. They're kind of in a squat. Yeah. And you say, oh, it's time to poop and you know, like make sounds like that. And then they're like, oh, because of the pressure that they poop and you're like, great job. Yeah. You can tell me whenever you want to do that. Right. And you just encourage them and it took like literally three days and, you know, for my daughter, she should like squirm a certain way and my son would go like and pump his face up. And that was her tell. And I'm like, okay, gotta go. And then it was just so much less work to change all this diapers. So I've heard the opposite though. And so much because you got to be so much more in tuned and around to be able to do that. So it's less work that you don't have to change the many diapers, but you have to be really sort of on top of it. You got to be a really good parent, basically. And I don't know if I'm not good of a parent. I think once you know the tell, you can even tell other people at the tell.

Yeah. They're pretty encouraged. I mean, no one wants to poop their diaper. No, they don't. And the problem is is that when they're so used to doing it, I think this is my hypothesis. Is then it feels like they're losing something. They're losing a part of their body and they're afraid to do that. That's what my boy kind of went. Yeah. So some kids go through that. And also this kind of nasty, but Pampers and the other big diaper companies, they have been actively working to discourage this knowledge and they keep making diapers for four year olds and encouraging people because they're selling more diapers. And the rest of the world who knows what I just shared, they're just like, you don't really need them any diapers. And if so, it's just pee. Let's go. Oh, he actually learned my life through this process. It was pretty great. She I can't remember what she calls it. She could be mad at me that I can't remember right now, but it's two women that she watched that they basically take it. He's naked for like three days in the house. Yep. Took up all the rugs and the whole thing. And for three days, we just stayed on him. Okay, when you got to go, you're going to talk and he, like, God, he did it. He still has an accident here and there, but yeah, whatever process she did, that's

really worked. So I thought it was going to be like a two month process to get him finally used to go on to the three days and he got it. Amazing. It's it's funny, especially when they're little, like all kids are different. Oh, so funny. I just I have so much respect for people who choose to be parents now because it's, it's expensive and it's hard work. It is, but there's no better thing in the world. Yeah, I encourage everybody to go have a few of them. Well, right now we could use some young people. Yeah, we could. Our birth rate is so far below replacement. We need to get people out there, make a baby's. It's one of the reasons I've ended longevity so much is if we don't make our old people young, we're just going to empty cities. Or we're just running out of people. It's time for us to step up at whatever age and if you're young, have some babies. It's a good idea. I'm trying to do. That's why I'm still having a 53. Hey man, I'm 53 at least if you believe the calendars. You were born in 73, right? 72. I thought I would. You should never believe Wikipedia. It's all lies. Okay. One in 72. I know remember. November what? I know remember 14th.

No kidding. You were born four days before. Wow. That's amazing. So we're like, no wonder we're so cool. Yes, companies are the best and everyone else doesn't know it, but you're so. You're born November 10th, 1972. There you go. I was born November 14th, 1972. So we're, where are you born? I don't know if Dakota. Okay, cool. I was in Albuquerque. Okay. Wow. That's pretty cool. Yeah, so we're like the same age. I can't imagine having another round because my daughter's 19, son's 17, feeling like I'm done. That's impressive. All my friends do the same thing. They're also kids off to college or have, or becoming grandparents. And I hear I am still changing baby diapers. Yeah. But I wouldn't have it any other way. I truly love it. That little girl has got me, dude. She is so sweet. And here's the thing about, you know, there's two different theories about, or there's two different pathways you can take, really. I guess three. One, never have kids. Two, have them young. Yeah. So that when you're older, you have your life. Right. I unfortunately didn't have that. I had all of, I lived all, trust me, I did, I did my thing younger, trying to, you know,

achieve, achieve, achieve, had my first one at 40 and then met Audra. And knew I wanted more kids, had a, had a shepherd. Now we have little baby roca at 50 and 53. That was my path. And then you, were you on testosterone when you had them? Yes. Thank you for saying that. There's one guy who calls himself a longevity dog. He was like, oh, testosterone is scary. If you go on it, you can never go off of it. I'm like, every bodybuilder and every actor knows you can go on an off testosterone and maintain your function. You're fine. Exactly. There's levels Michael down. Yeah, they come back up. They call it post cycle therapy and we, it's been known since the 70s. And again, have Jim bros, they know more about testosterone than most medical doctors unless they're functional or longevity. Yeah, it's crazy. It is crazy. Your brain uses 20% of your energy and when your energy is low, you're going to feel it because you don't make the same amount of energy every day. You lose your edge, thinking slow down and your brain can run on two things. Glucose and ketones.

Glucose is the default, but it runs out. Glucose are a cleaner energy source, especially on really long days when you have to focus, but a strict keto diet or fasting for days isn't very practical for most of us. So how are you going to solve that problem? Kinetic delivers ketones directly without any keto diet required. And they ran brain scans on this. One bottle of kinetic increased alpha brain wave activity by 18% and gamma wave activity by 16%. That directly translates to more focus. And while most ketone drinks taste like gasoline, this is something you'll actually enjoy. I loved to use kinetic before my deep work so my brain stays on. It gives you clarity without overstimulation. Go to drinkkinetic.com slash day for 15% off. That's drinkkinetic kene. T-I-K dot com slash day. My brain scored in the 99.999% tile of ability to focus for sustained periods on kinetic. My story is that I had kids much later.

I guess the benefit of that is that I have more money than I did in my early days. So I can afford to take care of them more so that I could not that I couldn't have anyway. But also I think a little bit more life experience. But at the same time, those that have them young, they almost grow up together. I really admire that too. Yeah. Who cares as long as you have, as long as you're able to raise good productive kids? I was talking with a couple of friends, both women and their mid-30s and kind of. You know, I haven't found the right guy yet. I want to have kids. And I just told them, look, you kind of embrace something. You have to say life is suffering. You're absolutely screwed if you have kids. And you're absolutely screwed if you don't have kids. View, don't have kids. You get to party. You have a lot more money. You get to do whatever you want to do. And then you don't have kids. And if you have kids, then you got to take care of the kids. But then you have kids. But then you don't get to go party. Either way, you're trading off something precious to get something precious. Right. And so either decision. And it doesn't really matter. It's going to require sacrifice. Right.

And so you've got to do the one that you're called to do. And it's okay. Something else I've always thought about is, you know, it's nice that when you're old, your kids are going to be out. My wife talks about that. She wanted to have five of them. Wow. How was she? She's 32. You know, because she wants to go when she grows old, she wants to just have family all around her. She's very tight with her family. So that's why she wants that. And I think that you run the risk of when you don't have them, you kind of, unless you've got brothers and sisters and stuff like that. Do you have brothers and sisters? Yes. Three sisters, three younger sisters. Cool. Ashley, who is two years younger than two and a half years younger than me, Mackenzie, who's like 15 years younger than me. Yeah. And Cassidy, who is 21 years younger than me. Wow. So Mom had her tubes untied, reconnected in 1988 and had my two younger sisters. And I was like a sophomore in high school and then a sophomore in college. So you like an uncle to them pretty much? Well, now we're pretty close. Yeah. I was at the house by the time they were coming out. Cool. Yeah. So you didn't have like that same age as the experienced school. Right.

Let's talk about North Dakota. Okay. It might be more remote than New Mexico where I grew up. Right. I mean, I actually don't think I could find North Dakota on a map. It's somewhere up there by Minnesota. I can't even know where it is. But between Minnesota and Montana, it's like a flyover stage. That's what everybody says. So you decided to put Gatlin there. Like, do they even have like airplanes together? Oh, God. Yeah. Fire. The Fargo is a bustling city, man. I don't know if you've ever been to Fargo, but it is a really fun town. It gets sort of a bad rap because of the movie and the TV shows. The TV show is so good. Oh, they're great. They're great, but it's not an accurate. Of course not. Depiction of the people there. Very smart, very grounded, very salt of the earth. I like that. And affluent town, by the way, it's not like a little rundown, you know, what you'd expect. It is. It's not like New Mexico. A lot of high tech companies there. A lot of big business. Wow. Businesses go there because it's so welcoming as opposed to Minnesota. Like so there's Fargo here and there's more ahead here. There's a river between the two. Okay.

And you go to those two towns and there's just just aesthetically you can see the difference. Wow. One is bustling. The other one's sort of wilting away. More heads of fine town, but it ain't Fargo. Wow. Because of the business, the Fargo really attracts business. More head not so much. It's just the memory of the city. It's like the California of cities. Like it hates businesses. Kind of. Yeah. But they don't. If you're going to start a business, you're not going to do it more. How do you're going to do it in Fargo? Got it. Because you have so much more, so many more benefits. You started doing research on what you were getting and then just manufacturing the compounds that you're using in the US. Why did you decide to do that? So my partner in this business, Fabian Calvo is also a part owner of a couple other companies, NewCare, ProRex, who are 503Bs and wholesale API pharmacies. So they get all this stuff from top quality distributors. Unfortunately, still a lot of this stuff is coming from China and India, like the basic

elements. One of the things I like that this administration has done is they're really trying to unshore a lot of this stuff. And we're actually trying to do this in North Dakota as we speak. It's important. We're trying to unshore this stuff because it's a national security thing more than anything. Who knows, a lidocaine or antibiotics or during COVID we ran into some of this stuff where we had shortages and we're all sort of depending on what China does. And we're trying to, and that's one of the things, also North Dakota's very pro bring it over here and build it. I can't imagine anyone manufacturing something in China that had really strong adverse effects on people. I thought you were serious for some reason. Of course, I'm talking about fentanyl, of course, the other, the same factory that was making fentanyl, the stuff that flooded the US and Canada is now making peptides. So people are buying it from there. It's crazy. So I just warn people, be very careful where you're getting your stuff, your peptides. The stuff is, it works. It's not snake oil. It is absolutely amazing. But make sure you know where you're getting it from.

Because guys are compiling the stuff in the back of their vans. Or it's coming from someplace. You don't even know what it is if it is what they say it is. I mean, your best soft just going right there. But if you don't go to someplace, you know it's going to give you the real stuff. That is really profoundly good advice. And I also worry sometimes I'm a freedom optimizer. So I don't think that my insurance company is my health daddy. I don't think my boss, I don't have a boss is my health daddy, but most people do. I don't think that my government is my health daddy. And my doctor is my health daddy, right? So I can hire any of those people that I want to except you can't hire the government. It's expensive to buy them. That's why big pharma does it. Yeah. Otherwise, like I can have any expert I want. But I get to make the decision and the problem is that I'm well equipped to make the decision. I read books about this, right? A lot of people are saying, I'm just going to go do some random peptides because they heard it's cool and they're getting good advice. So your advice model is to actually call a health provider and just talk to them. Well, we have a whole army of, okay? We have like not an army. We have 20. Okay. All highly, highly licensed or all medically licensed experts who can answer whatever questions.

And I just write, you know, whether it's us or somebody else, make sure you know, make sure you're getting good advice because this is important as your body and as your own health. Congratulations. I've taken the initiative to go out there and try to optimize because I do think that, you know, the science is now there. We have the products that can now really, truly elevate people to places they weren't expecting especially at our age. First thing you have to do is make sure that you're doing this smartly and not just taking this shit off the street. I'm always stuck on the regulatory side. Every time I see regulation come in, it just makes costs by 10 times. And I mean, there's a huge push in 90s for big farmer to own the supplement industry so that your doctor would have to write you a script for vitamin B. So then you have to wait for a doctor's appointment for two months. You go in and pay him a hundred bucks to tell you could have not enough of the B vitamin that you needed. Right. It was, they were going to just create a terrible society that way. And fortunately, that got not accepted. In fact, it was the largest letter writing campaign in history in the US at the time. That people going hands off my supplements. Yeah. I'm hoping that we have lots of access to peptides and that we also have lots of science

because the science is lacking on some of them. But the science on testosterone, if we know that stuff, that's done. Yeah, we need it. Right. We need it and it's easy to do medically. Yep. Okay. I love that you're working on both of them. You're on the red carpet. And there's a lot of stuff that Hollywood does that they don't talk about to try and stay young. What is the most unhinged thing that you've seen people do? I just feel like I'm not going there. I mean, I'll go, let me think about it. I'm going to go there. I can still talk about some other. The most unhinged thing. I just feel like here's one thing that drives me crazy. A couple of things. Don't fuck with your face too much. You're beautiful. Little things here and there, yes, but don't go too far with it. Are you talking about my facial circumcision? I'm not talking about you at all. You're a handsome son of a bitch. Especially guys. Guys, you gotta be careful about getting too much work done your face because it doesn't look good. And then be careful with the GLP ones. Yes. Because you can really get too skinny and it's not attractive. So I see some of that where I'm like, you were better when you were a little overweight. You looked better. You didn't do it. So what I would say is, yes, if you want to lose weight, there's ways to do it.

GLP ones aren't all bad. They can be very good, but make sure that you have a full regimen, a full routine that you're going with. You're still eating well. You're still working out. You're still lifting weights. So you don't just become a bag of bones. Just got into your GLP ones. We do. Okay. I also am very medically guided. So we also come with, we will help you with a whole regimen around that so that you're not just taking the stuff and just losing the weight. Yeah. And we leave it there probably more unhealthy than you were before because now you've got a whole other stool problems. The evidence is in that these are longevity drugs at low doses. So a lot of our longevity clients in unlimited life are taking low dose GLP ones. They don't need to lose weight. They're not trying to lose weight. They're just looking to stay off Alzheimer's. And they just have broad spectrum longevity effects. And the heavy doses usually are not so good for muscle. So I think, in fact, since the very first study came out and used them for weight loss, I had the author of the study on the show and we talked about it. So I was really fat. If I could have taken GLP ones, I would have done it because I worked out for a year and

a half, 90 minutes a day on a low fat diet. I couldn't lose any weight. It was miserable. Yeah. So there we go. If you would have had that, it would have been not much easier. Oh, yeah. They're great drugs. You have a routine like you talked about. You're willing to put in the work, too. Like this stuff is not just, it's just what happens. You've got to put work in. You've got to eat the protein. You've got to do the work. You've got to get in the gym. You've got to still, you've got to build up. But that's the beautiful thing about it. My mind is that testosterone, for example, gives you the will to go on and do it. So then you want to go to the gym, but then you start feeling better and then you probably a little more spiritually connected. Everything starts to work in unison. When you start to get your body back, you start feeling good about yourself. That's really what we want to do at Gatlin. It's just get people feeling really good about themselves and live as long and healthy as they can. I think you just named the episode called testosterone and God. I don't know how, but somehow it's all interconnected. It really is. When you feel like yourself, you can connect to the greatest spiritual purpose.

You can do so much more. Yeah. I've gone through dark times in my 20s where it's like the tank is empty. You can accelerate. You can't gas. What do you do? It's miserable. It's dark. I don't want anyone to be there. No. Me neither. I've been there. Alright. Some more secrets. What is something you've done for your health that was the biggest waste of money? Oh, good question. I've tried a bunch of different hair things over the years. Just try to keep my hair. I had this serum in this one time with this combed vibrate. It was just like, I have to hate the, you know, the one with that comb was for. Oh, damn it. I was using the wrong hand. It has the wrong hair. I've just always had this real sort of fear. I'm going to lose my hair. It still do. You know, I still do. So put another reason why we started this company. There's a lot of cool stuff out there right now, by the way. Oh, God. It's crazy. Like these stem cell stuff. Yep. You done stem cells yet? I tried it one time. Okay. And I haven't had it yet. I'm going to do it again just to see in the hair. Yes, here.

Yeah. And it hurts when the injectors go. I mean, my cronietal is again. I've had the full injections and that's just a new kind of pain. I've had my mirror taken out a couple of times. It's a marrow. Yeah, because if you want to do stem cells 10 years ago, you pulled your marrow and your fat out. And then they take your own stem cells and put it back. So I've had stem cells injected every joint in my body twice in the face hair and reproductive all of it. Yeah. And so my wife says that I'm extra. You're even more extra than I am. I'm. I've been old when I was young and arthritis since I was 14. And I don't have body pain that I've asked majority of the time. My brain works better than ever. Just like you look like healthy dude. I am abundantly healthy and I have the worst genes ever. And like if I can do this, it's going to be easy for everyone compared to the crap that I went through. So yeah, I love it. I'm excited about the idea that I'm going to that I can be as healthy as I can much longer than I would have before for these funds. Yeah.

That's my grandkids. That's a big ask. But you know, what did it do to your sense of time watching your friends become grandfathers? And you've got, you know, three month old. Do you feel younger from that? Or just really immature. A lot of the guys, they sort of went to traditional route. I never did. I was the guy who went off and like, you know, chased dreams and went off to not that they didn't. But I just went off and like at a very different sort of journey. Yeah. It doesn't make we're all still super tight. We all get together every year. We're all on a text thread all day every day. So they're my boys and they've been, but it's funny because yes, some of them are literally and a lot of these guys are, they were early investors in the company. A lot of them are on and you can see from year to year, like they look better than they had last year. Yeah. Dude, you're doing the work. The shift is noticeable. Yeah. Yeah. There's something that happens around some of them late 40s. Don't. You're like, dude, you should probably get on. Yeah, you can see the trajectory. Like people in mid 45, they start, you know, people just go up from there. Right. You know, I think that's a lot of the things you text each other or memes.

A lot of memes. A lot of very, very inappropriate memes. Of course. If you, yeah, anybody outside of our group would think that we're just absolute maniacs. Of course. I mean, all worst enemies. We're actually the best friends. Yeah. That's a healthy man in our eyes. I know. When our testosterone is high enough, if it's low, you go, I'm offended. And then you start getting kale and it's over for you. All right. I got to ask this one. What? You're now a longevity entrepreneur. So when are you going to hang up the acting hat? I don't think I'll ever hang it up. I love it too much. Yeah. I really do love doing what I do. It depends on, you know, and thankfully now I get to be a little bit more selective than I was when I was younger. But there's nothing like going in and just really doing the work to get into whatever character it is. And then go on set feeling the pressure to have to deliver that. That was, that was one thing that really scared me forever was, I got the part. Oh, shit. Now I got to go do it. Wow. And there's moments when you're on a set and this is like the big moment, whatever it is,

there's always a big thing in the pressure. You got a very finite amount of time to get this thing right. Because if not, they're moving on. It's time. You know, it's, you got the cameras. You got everybody watching. It's like, this is the moment. And I love that pressure. You know, it's like, it's like you got, it's, it's sink or swim. So do you still get that stage fright apprehension kind of thing? Not as much as I used to. I used to have episodes that terrified me because I would go to, I'd go into places where I completely lost mind. I couldn't remember the line no matter what. Wow. And now it's, it's like you're drowning. There's nothing, there's nothing to do because they have to get it. They have to get the scene and you can't remember the line. But that doesn't, that doesn't happen for you. But it was something that terrified me and it, it paralyzed me in a lot of ways for long. Wow. So you really went through it. That doesn't work is really scary. Yeah. It was all over me in my mid 20s and I had a really high pressure, high success, still kind of like career. I couldn't remember anything. And I would do like a Kamala Harris thing. I would just like talk word salad and look because I was trying to, what I was like

going to say, I'm just going to say a bunch of words that kind of have some meaning because they have me and, and you're just going, please come, please come. And I don't really do that anymore. But there's actually a drug that helps with that. Dahaksa? I like Dahaksa. That's a newer one. I'm doing Dahaksa. There's one called anarasitam. Anarasitam? It's the only drug that increases memory IO, like input output. And so for actors, is the best cognitive enhancer? It's also mildly intense. I'm going to get that for you before I leave today. Absolutely. Anarasitam? Yeah. It's magic. I've been on it for 25 years. That in Modaphanil. Okay. If you have jet lag and you've got to feel good, you've got to have your brain going, you've seen limitless the movie, right? Yes. They actually took it. I could tell the cameraman or the producer did because every time he takes the drug, the color spectrum shifts subtly into green. When you take Modaphanil, if you pay attention, there's a subtle shift in the color spectrum, too. It makes everyone around you slower. So that can make you really angry if you're angry. But it makes you type faster. Raises IQ in studies.

So does this like a prescription drug? Yeah, it was designed for narcolepsy people. It's not. And there's no side effects. I have out of a million people have the same side effect as ibuprofen, which is autoimmune skin thing, but it's very, very rare. Okay. So I can take this without any sort of fear of something else. Yeah. I've been on it for 25 years. I'm all about keeping this brain healthy because my dad started a little bit now with that. 25 years of an honor. Wow. And I would have failed out of warden without it. And I'll do seven episodes a day. And we just quantified my brain for cognitive resilience. I mean, the 99.99% of brands just does not stop. Really? This is a guy who'd have brown outs half the time. I had ADHD and autism. And it gets insane what you could do. Just insane. I don't have. I'm not in the top 99.99%. We bump you up to this. I bet I was a few years ago. It's up to like 52, 53%. I'll take it. As long as I'm above the average. So you're going to write, can I get those written down? Yeah, I'll write this down for you. It's Modaphano and aniracotam.

I started out going, all right, I was married my 20s for a couple of years. So I'm already married. And I'm pretty chubby. But when my brain started going, I pay for my family with my brain. Yeah. Right. If that goes, I'm going to be homeless. And it was this feeling of doom. Like, oh my god. So I got into smart drugs and neutropics. Real big time. And that got my brain back online enough to do the rest of my health. And so on, it had just told me like your testosterone is lower, your thyroid is low. And you're eating exactly the wrong for your body. It would have saved me hundreds of thousand dollars later. It's such an important thing. That's what drives me to keep doing it this show after 14 years. Like this matters. And you get one guy who's like, oh my gosh, maybe I'm low T and he takes it and all of a sudden he'll be the provider. He always wanted to be in his top speed himself up for like it really matters at a societal level. I agree. I think that men and women do that matter. Deserve an opportunity to be optimized for much longer than we ever thought we could be. Amen. And the next stuff is there. And it's all medically backed and the science is there.

At least take a look at it because there's no reason to let the old men on the door if you don't have to. It used to make me really angry that there will say dark forces trying to prevent it. And I've done a lot of work on that forgiveness and like that. So no, I'm not sure they're all dark forces. Some of them may just be stupid instead of evil. But whatever it is, they're working against the benefit of mankind. But don't have to hate them for it. I'm not going to let you do that. Yeah. But I have to do it out of anger just at it. We're doing good work. You're doing really good work. You're informing people. You're more than ever. People are curious about this stuff. And I think it's fantastic. Yeah. Well, likewise, my friend, you're doing good work. And I love it that you just step right into the fray and you want to put your face out there and say, yes, testosterone. Because every, every guy who hears this and a lot of women too, if you're not aware of your testosterone levels, you are doing life wrong. It is so cheap to do this. And if it's low, it's why you have anxiety and you're tired and you're cranky and all

the stuff like grumpy old men, best testosterone, deficiency, documentary ever made. Yeah. That's what we're like without an FT. Well, thanks for coming on the show. Thanks for having me, Dave.
