Et: Juhan seisis haigla koridoris, väljas ladises lund ja inimesed tormasid sisse, et pääseda külmast.
En: Juhan stood in the hospital corridor, while outside, snow was pouring down and people were rushing in to escape the cold.
Et: Ta oli hoopis tulnud haiglasse, et Liisi, oma südamedaami, näha.
En: He had come to the hospital to see Liisi, the lady of his heart.
Et: Liis töötas siin õena ja Juhan lootis, et ehk nad kohtuvad juhuslikult koridoris.
En: Liis worked here as a nurse, and Juhan hoped they might meet by chance in the corridor.
