Ken Admits He's Nearly Alone Rooting for the Browns to Win Sunday

I think I wouldn't call it a takeover, but there's going to be more browns fans than you think. And something else to consider. If Jacksonville, if their fans saw the Sean's press conference and know they can get in this head, he is going to get his face boot off. Well, Jacksonville, you just, you just, you just, you just gave me a terrible, a terrible thought. If there's going to be that many Browns fans, are they going to be booing him when he goes out there in Jacksonville on Sunday? Absolutely. It's a three hour drive for me. We're going to make the trick. And as many fans as there are down here in the southeast, you know, these two weeks between Jacksonville and Tampa, these are our two weeks to see our brownies. So we're going to, we're going to go there and we're going to support. But there may be a good amount of booing even for these away games for the Sean.

It's like, yeah, they're all from the South or they're all from the West. You know, there's not that many guys who are just Midwest. And they get drafted by Midwest teams. It's kind of all a big mix and it's all the same. But if you got a guy who's basically let everybody know that the fans are in his head, there's no basically about it. He's let everybody know the fans are in his head. And you got your own fans down there. And I'm saying to you, like, Kale's one, I know I'm in a vast minority. So it's me, Kale and Coach Lance, who are picking the Browns. And again, there's people who are picking against the Browns, who are Browns fans,

5:05and they want it to go badly. Sorry, you're going to have people down there in Jacksonville. Remember, I didn't think they'd go to a preseason game to boo the quarterback. And I was wrong about that. Are they going to go to a game in Jacksonville when they're already living in Florida to boo the quarterback? They vary what made well. Well, it's one thing to go into the first game of the year and act like, hey, everything's fine. I got all that bad stuff out of my system. Yeah, that's what Todd Monkin told us earlier in the week when he came on the show. It's one thing to say it, but it's another thing once you get dropped on a third and 12. You throw the ball over the middle, it gets tipped and picked off. And all of a sudden, your team is down 10, nothing. And your teammates are looking for answers and they're looking around and wondering if you're the guy to leave the team. It's a totally different set of circumstances. In the fifth round quarterback. I don't know how I've never seen a general manager ruin a team more over and over and avoid responsibility.

Sean was taken worst overall or second overall. He was taken in the first round. This is the second round guy to UCLA. I openly admitted I couldn't rip the pick because I wasn't watching him when I was watching UCLA. Walter, you asked and I'm trying to answer you. 9:15is one step up from a special teamer. He's an inside linebacker in 2026, 10 in sub-package football. Andrew Berry cannot say, yeah, I know, Dishon walked in. It was kind of a disaster. Is he good in coverage? Is he still? Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, hold on. They're all disasters. But wait a minute. I drafted Carson. So, what's your comment, dude? I still need well, no, Carson. You're going to be a passenger, Engle Savus job, Walter. Thank you for the call. It's not going to save his job. But it's the second round there. It wasn't like he had a cha... 10:16that I can use Paul de Bidesta, who I didn't care for, as a scapegoat. I am hoping that. So, I am voluntarily telling everybody I'm putting my head in the sand when it comes to those two people. Carson's swastened yours isn't the only one that I think that he did well with. But when we're talking inside linebackers, we're talking coverage linebackers, guys, who can make tackles. I got Carson's swastened yours and he should be able to play well for me for a decade. And he should be a really good football player for me for a decade. That's what I need in the second round. Yeah, I don't even talk about Carson's swastened yours. I mean, I just think it's the wrong example to use against Andrew Bidesta. I think it's the chance to be all pro this year. If you're going to go after Andrew Berry, I think you just go after the fact that they had to just replace the entire offensive line. That's not a normal thing for us. It's some really good GM. 100%. You can do that. And you can say, well, what do you mean, Kenny? You've been talking about how thin this defense is and the secondary. Maybe it's a defense that could have used MJ Emerson. See, I'm giving the arguments against me defending Andrew Berry for you. I'm giving you a open book. That's something we have to pay attention to this year. What are you going to say, Owen?

11:16I just, I couldn't agree more with Walter when it comes. Oh, Carson's swastened. Oh, when it comes, I, yes, you got the best one. He's great. 20 tackles does not in a game does not win you a game. Well, but we're not saying no one is going to sit here at the end. And if his job's on the line, it's a nobody on, but Anthony, Anthony, I'm so used to saying he's crazy. Owen, nobody is saying that he should say the Andrew Berry's job, but you cannot deny that it's been our opinion. And it's been the opinion of many people who know about the man who ran the franchise into the ground with the worst contract, the worst trade and NFL history. Absolutely true. The worst trade and professional sports is true. Absolutely true. So, well, but you got that middle linebacker pick right? I know that that's true. I'm not saying just one middle linebacker though. It's the worst thing that's ever happened in professionals. It is, it is the worst thing. But again, who was a part, who was also part of the swing in a miss and we thought we were going to get closure on it. And instead of getting closure, we're getting and marched out there on the field on Sunday.

12:20I get no closure. Well, if he goes out there and he sucks up the room and gets boot and he freaks out again, you'll get close out there on Sunday and Tampa and guess what I get? He comes back here and he gets boot and then he gets boot on Thursday night against Pittsburgh. And then maybe finally we start to get her. I mean, I'm not using the last. That's not the way I don't know if I can make it another month. I'm not using just Carson. So, I'm not even really trying to defend Andrew Barry. I am openly telling everybody I am using like can we go to 18? I'm you I'm using Paulie Bideste as a scapegoat when it comes out legacy. Now, this is a different conversation. I'm trying to talk about week one, but I what Walter says is the way a lot of people feel about the guy, but I think he's had two very solid draft. I think he's not this draft coming up this year. Had he not screwed it up so bad, we wouldn't be talking about him instead of week one. The week one, I know you want to focus on week one. Well, you can't because if we're looms large over the field, we're going to open up old wounds and fine. Let's go right on ahead and do it.

13:21Can we not share a little bit of responsibility with John who shot everybody else out and decided that he was going to pick Baker Mayfield and then roll people out of the building as patsys and then have them give them false information so they would sell idiots like me. So, I would tell people on the radio so he could smoke out the patsys and then take Baker Mayfield and then they give him way too much power away too soon. No, but John didn't give to Sean Watson 230 million. No, he didn't. No, he didn't because when you have such a drastic, drastic pendulum change when it comes to power, of course, then Paul and Andrew felt they needed to put it in there. Now, didn't they? And if he goes out there and he plays poorly, it should shine on Andrew Barry. And frankly, it shouldn't. Hopefully it will because I need to hold people accountable.

15:21Does it matter to you that like a bunch of life? And you know who's going to get swept up underneath that? Who the guy that's starting on Sunday, who's never coached in a NFL game. Does it matter to you that like a third of the league went after to Sean Watson? Like a lot of guys thought it was a good idea to go. No, because it's the it's the hindsight thing. I mean, I get where you're coming from, but like he was really good. Yeah. And nobody else. Nobody else said contracts be damned, money be damned. You know, situations that have never happened before the NFL be damned, we're going to do it. I think I'm actually hit on something though. A Walter was willing to say it. I wonder how many other people are willing to say it that they don't want them to win because all of this. And they want them done with this as soon as possible.
