Kentucky's Hart Joins SMU, Brown Fills Gap

0:00On March 25, Jason Hart, the assistant coach at Kentucky, is leaving for SMU. He's agreed to join head coach Andy Enfield staff there, according to sources. Hart and Enfield go way back. They work together at USC from 2013 to 2021. Hart only spent one season at Kentucky under Mart Pope ahead of the 2024-25 campaign. His background is strong in development roles. He led the G League ignite team as head coach from 2021 to 2024 until the program shut down. Earlier stops include Taff High School and Pepperdine, Kentucky moved quickly to fill gaps. They just hire Keegan Brown as Associate Director of Player Development. Brown comes from the Milwaukee Bucks' G League affiliate and spend five years on Pope's staff at BYU, handling video, analytics, scouting, and more. Staff changes like these keep reshaping college basketball rosters as teams gear up for the new season.
