Panthers toe meeting leather against the Chicago Bears at one PM Eastern time inside the Baker America Stadium in uptown. Charlotte, I will give you my final thoughts with the Panthers need to do to finally get a week one victory. It's been since 2021, y'all. Sam Darnold was a quarterback back then Zach Will soon is making his first ever start in the NFL back then. It's been that long. That was also the first game reaction I ever had on this show. It's been a long time. It's time for Carolina to finally win one of these games open up the season. There are some injuries though. Pat Jones will not play in this game. What impact will that have on the Panthers? And I have a few questions heading into Sunday mainly about who's active, who's not active and how the Panthers are able to have insurance behind some key players going into this game on Sunday afternoon. So let's start off as we start off every single Friday throughout the regular season and
post season two. If they get there, I'll give you my three keys victory versus the bears. Now I gave you a sneak peek of these on our crossover Thursday episode of Lauren Cox of Lockdown Bears, but did not want to get into too much detail when discussing it. Let's go back over them and go into more detail when looking at those three keys key. Number one, Bryce Young must take care of the football. It's not a need. He must do it. There is no if and or buts about it. He's got to do it. Bryce has seven turnovers in three week one contest that he's had to start off his career. That's future it. There's no other way to describe it. There's some vulgar things you can say that I can't send the show to describe it, but it truly it's unacceptable. Rookie year two interceptions first ever start on the road against Atlanta. All right, I get it. It happens. But then Norlands, they brought you an offensive line. They brought you new receivers, a new head coach, new scheme and that's the performance you put up on acceptable last year.
We thought we were over this and yet two more picks, one fumble, seven turnovers across these three games start off every season that he has been the starting quarterback in Carolina. I can't happen. The Panthers have lost those games by a turnover margin of minus three minus two and minus two and all of those are on Bryce Young. It cannot happen. He's completed 49.5% of his passes in those games, starting for 461 yards. 461 yards. That's only 13 more than he threw for against Atlanta alone last year in that one against the Falcons. That's not winning football to touchdowns, the six interceptions. And he's also been sacked seven times, which is not an insignificant amount of sacks, which sacks are quarterbacks that more than they're an offensive line staff. But we've seen offensive lines been responsible for that. Bryce has been responsible for it. Either way, he's not played well. It's pass the rating in week one throughout the last three years. It's 44.2. He has 4.5 yards per attempt. He has a negative 0.25 EPA per dropback and a 32.8% successful play rate.
That is not going to get it done against Ben Johnson, Caleb Williams and Chicago Bears on Sunday. At least I don't think it's going to get it done. And I have this conversation actually on Thursday on the radio and Raleigh and actually syndicated throughout the state on the Adam Gold show. Love Adam. But I asked Adam, he actually we talked about, you know, Bryce and his career and where things are going to go for Bryce, potentially contract extension and all that. And I asked Adam, has there ever been a point in time of care on as one game in spite of Bryce Chung? And I would argue that no, when Bryce Chung has been bad, the Panthers have lost. There has not been a single game where he's been terrible and Carolina found a way to win. Now, there's been games where he's been okay and they won. There's been games where he's been excellent and they've won. There's been games where he's been good. They've won but there's never been a game where Carolina is just won because the defense was great. Special teams was great. Bryce was terrible. That's never happened at least in my opinion when watching the games of Bryce is wanting Carolina, which again, I think it was only 14. It's crazy to think the numbers that low, but you look back at it. Okay, yeah, do the math. It makes sense.
Based on where Carolina has been the first three years, this Bryce has been a starter here in Carolina, but it's not just week one, guys. It's not just week one. It's been September, the Panthers, not Bryce Chung because QB wins is not a stat, but the Panthers are one in seven in the month of September with Bryce Chung as they're starting quarterback where he has thrown seven touchdowns to eight interceptions and 11 total turnover. So it's not just the first week. It's the other weeks after that. He's completed 59% of his passes during that time has a negative 0.23 E.P.A. per dropback. Whereas you look at the second half of the season when Bryce in 24 and in 25 really turn it on. He has a minus 0.05 E.P.A. per dropback. Now let's throw out 2023 as rookie year. And Frank Reich was gone. Thomas Brown was saying I'm just here. Well, at least his wife was saying on Twitter. He's only here because someone has to call the plays, which is very true, but still not great situation for the quarterback. With the last two years, the reason why Bryce is still here in Carolina, the second half of the season, 24 and in 25, he has a 0.06 E.P.A. per dropback compared to negative 0.3.
So he is being a deterrent to Carolina winning games while he is being an additive to winning games down the stretch at the end of these seasons in 24 and 25. He has to take care of the football. It is non-negotiable. No more what do we've seen in the past. And maybe being at home finally first home cooking week one game for Bryce, maybe that's what it does for him. But even still you can't be that bad on the road to start off a season. You look at the preseason. That's been a conversation. His first year of Dave won drive against the bills. Last year he had one drive against the Cleveland, touchdown, two drives, both three and outs against Houston. That was it. And then this year, three all three and three and outs against the Buffalo bills. Then you look at the game in Jacksonville, two, one of them is a touchdown. It took until the fifth drive for the first team offense and Bryce showing his score touchdown, but five drives compared to three compared to one. So he's played five times as many drives as he did his first year under Dave Canalist. The hope is that things have gotten better there for the Panthers to not go out there
and flat out and barris them selves in this game on Sunday against Chicago like they have the last couple of years under Dave Canalist. Number two, run the damn ball. I've got to buy one of those hats and just start wearing it on the show when we talk about the Panthers running game. If it's even going to be existent this year, weeks one through nine, gone over this, going to go over to game because I have the last time I saw it, it was putrid. So weeks one through nine last season, the Panthers were third in the NFL and rushing yarders. They were 10 in yards per attempt. They were sixth in EPA per rush, eighth in rushing success rate. They were a top 10 rushing team. Rico Dotto is a top five running back at that point in time. Second half of the season, felt a cliff. Weeks 10 through 18, the Panthers were 30th in rushing yarders. They were 29th in yards per attempt. They were 22nd in EPA per rush and they were 31st in rushing success rate. Awful. And somehow they still made the playoffs. Despite having any rushing attack at all, Panthers running backs failed to combine for
a hundred yards plus in seven out of the last eight games. The only one was the win against the Rams in week 13, you back the weeks three through nine. Panthers running backs went over a hundred yards every single week. The Panthers were five and two during that stretch. They were three and five down the stretch when the running game was nothing. Zilch, Nata gave them not what they needed going into that stretch where they're trying to make the playoffs. And I'm guessing had the running game been existing, had the defense been better when we're going to talk about them momentarily, the Panthers wouldn't have needed Atlanta to win that game in week 18. They would have actually beaten Tampa or they would have beaten Norland's the first time. They wouldn't be in that spot. They sure as hell are never going to beat Seattle who's still pretty good, apparently. So yeah, run the ball, take pressure off a Bryce because it just can't be him going out there and leading this team. I talked about the teams never one in spite of him in large part because the defense never been good enough. The run games never been good enough in other aspects of just a football team have not been to the point where okay, yeah, your quarterback can be terrible that Sunday you can
still win. It's very difficult in this league, especially the win in spite of your quarterback. I care on as yet to do that. I'm hoping that Bryce is better on Sunday, but also that he has some help from the run games. I'm going to talk about him. He's been limited throughout the week on Wednesday and Thursday. He's expected to play. He's certainly tired of us asking about all the injuries he's dealt with in Carolina, but it is a story because buddy, you're on the injury report and you have not been available the last couple of years. But I do respect him and always been through and hoping that he will be good to go and can be a big time player for Carolina moving forward. Number three, you got to contain Caleb Williams. He was really good last season. He was 13th in EPF or Droppack in the season, a second year under in Chicago, but this first year under Ben Johnson, you look at the Panthers defense though. That's what I was referring to a minute ago. The Panthers defense down the stretch wasn't great. Now the Panthers defense, people keep telling me, oh, yeah, man, they went from last place. They went to like 16th and total defense. Okay, that's a yardage. You can have 700 yards of game, but if you don't score, doesn't matter how many yards
you had. You turn it over five times game doesn't matter how many yards you had. So they totally defense who cares yards replay does matter, but like look at other things. And not everybody has, you know, access to these numbers, but I don't really care because I was told the first year of a Jaro that it was the top 40 offense because they were fourth in total defense. Well, you watched them. They gave them a ton of points. They were terrible in the red zone, terrible on third down. So was that a good defense? No, it was not a good defense and it was worse next year, but it was better last year. But still in the second half of the season, they were 25th in defense of success rate, meaning that they did not keep their opponents off schedule. That's basically what success rate is measuring. They were 23rd and EPA per play. They were 32nd and third down defense. There's only 32 teams in the NFL y'all and they were 22nd in red zone defense. If you want to take out week 10 and then have week 11 to the right team, they were even worse than that. They were 28th and have a great. So that's making negative play. So that's tackles for loss, it's takeaways, all that. They weren't doing that in the second half of the season. So the last time we saw the Panthers defense play, it was the prevent defense, J.Z. Horn, not out there.
That's important context and Carol on not getting a stop against the Rams. No, it is the Rams. It is Sean McVeigh, his Matthew Stafford. I understand all of that, but still, man, you have the game one. You got a big special teams play. Your quarterbacks played well. Coacers played well. You can win this game. Crowds going nuts, uptown, Charlottes alive. And they couldn't get off the field. I can't have that happen tomorrow. We got to be able to have success against Caleb Williams and against Ben Johnson, one of the best play cars in the NFL. And we have seen Liam Cohen have his way with a Jerovaro. We have seen Joe Brady, our old friend have his way with a Jerovaro. And I wouldn't be surprised if Ben Johnson, big brain, Ben has his way with a Jerovaro. But if he does, they got to find a way to contain contain Caleb Williams. They can't let Caleb go crazy. They got to find a way to contain really Ben Johnson, Caleb Williams and this Bears offense that they want to win this game on Sunday. So contain Caleb, run the damn ball and Bryce, enough with the foolishness.
Hold on to the football. Stop dealing with you. Been doing you're at home. Everyone's excited. No more mistakes. You can't live with them. Injury port, Pat Jones not going to play with Bobby Brown, Jonathan Brooks, they good to go. And have a few questions heading into week one when looking at the Panthers roster decisions. As far as the 53 goes, we'll talk about that here in just a moment on Locked On Panthers. Fando was making the excitement go beyond what happens on the field with the all new Fando or awards club featuring exclusive offers surprises and more and looking over at Fando right now. Let's take a look at the injury report here on locked on panthers. Do tell me what your thoughts are on this last year. There were times where honestly, I was just being lazy on Thursdays, wouldn't go to the facility on Thursday. Um, would play golf in the morning or have like a, you know, golfing the afternoon just didn't feel like doing the pod. And I would wait till Friday to get the final injury report. So let me know if you guys would rather me to lay this until Friday afternoon or you want the episode on Friday morning when you drop in the work or drive him back from home, you would have it by time you come back from home on Fridays, but also kind of want to keep my Fridays open in the afternoons after Dave speaks, which I'll be there on Friday
to hear what he has to say is there's typically things that he says that aren't streamed out of the they streamed anywhere and put on social. So I do have questions for him or last chance to talk to him before the game. So I may depending on what the injury report looks like, hold it off until Friday afternoon have an individual bonus injury report episode kind of last thoughts from Dave episode. So let me know what you guys think about that because I'm going to do keys to big three. And I'm going to do like questions going into that week and then I'm going to do my final word here in a moment, but I might have an extra final word, which would be a bonus episode on Fridays for the afternoon from what Dave said is press conference and then looking at the injury reports. Let me know if you guys are interested in something like that. Hit me up in the comments here. Also hit me up over on Twitter, Blue Sky at Julian Council of your thoughts on that. Always want to know what y'all think about the show, how can make it better, especially during the season when gotta be on point. Y'all know. But injury report looking at it, at least through Wednesday and Thursday, Pat Jones back did not practice on Wednesday and Thursday. Dave can now already said he's not expected to play on Sunday.
He's weak to weak. This is not related to the disc surgery that he had last year that had about after four games and he talked to us last month, during training camp. How he was really concerned about whether he played again with some dark places, but he's a better player mentally physically than he's been before. And I'm excited for him. I hate this for him. He's not able to play it because he he taught what he cried when he stepped foot on that practice field for a day when a training camp. And it's just man, it sucks that he's down and also sucks because next Gordon, he's already out for the season. So Pat Jones is not there week one at least and he's weak to week. Next Gordon's not going to be there until next year in 2027, princely time for you to step up. Braxton Jones can be your opponent. We'll talk about that here in a moment of a body brown. He's got a back injury. It was limited on Wednesday full participant on Thursday. Dave said there was no concern about that when we spoke to him on Wednesday. Then Jonathan Brooks has a growing injury limited on Wednesday and Thursday. So this is another thing where seems to be fine. At least from what Dave said, we'll see what his status is when we talk to him on Friday
afternoon. Again, I'm probably going to do a bonus just off of that kind of final thoughts. He has they are kind of make that the thing I'm going to do every Friday. I'm thinking about it. But let me know if it makes sense if you guys want that for something for Friday afternoon I guess Saturday morning as well. Well, we talked to JB on Wednesday and I asked him, like, are you so ready just to have your not injuries be the questions we asked, but you have your play speak for itself. I really agree with that statement. It was a question out of statement, but he's tired, man. He's tired of people asking about the growing and he was very short with us. He's a great dude to talk to. Really is. It's great to hear him about a spade to ask about that when the crowd was a little bit away just like kind of how he's grown to even a spade. He thinks he's become like a Romano that people have reached out to him and all of that and how different a person is today than he was when he first stepped in that locker room three years ago. He's a completely different. Like I appreciate that as someone who believes the same thing he believes in. I love that. Love that he's spreading that message and the mission that he has and he feels he's been called to do. But he did not want to talk to us at all about really football.
He just wants to get out there and get it done. In our respect, that's where, look, man, I'm tired of talking. I just want to go out there and play and he needs to be out there to play so we can talk about his play. So I'm rooting for that, man. Don't really care whether you play for Panthers or not. Like that guy's been through a lot. Good dude. Hopefully it works out. We'll find out more on Friday, whether that's truly a concern for him. So yeah, he should be good to go based off what Dave told us. Big opportunity though. All on Sunday for Prince Leigh Monney, Ellen. As he's going to go up against Braxton Jones, this was one of my matchups to watch where that we talked about on the crossover episode on Thursday of Lorncox, a locked on bears. You look at Braxton Jones, who's going to be the starting left tackle for the bears. Had a 55.5 pf grade last year, 62.7 past blocking grade, 47.2 run block grade. So yeah, like that's really interesting. Asiitra Pillow would be the other option now. Lauren doesn't think he's going to be active. He like Ike, Rupshard is a batteler tendon. That same Saturday back in January. He's been activated to the roster.
He's an option to play, but Lauren does not think that will be the case. And I have not even looked at the bears injury reports. Probably some of them should do. But yeah, 210 snaps played last year for Braxton Jones, one penalty, two sacks allowed. This can be an opportunity for Prince Leigh to eat, especially knowing that all the helps going on the other side because you know, it's on the other side, Jaylin Phillips. And that's why you signed someone like Jaylin Phillips to $120 million. So that Ben Johnson has to be concerned about him because last year, Ben Johnson was not going to be concerned about DJ one of them or Pat Jones or rookie year next word, or Prince Leigh Mameel. And you're probably that nobody was going to be concerned about Genevieve on clonnie, name more than an actual threat. He did play well last year, but come on. You know, I'm trying to say here, maybe you don't, they weren't concerned. They have a guy to be concerned about. When we saw the impact, albeit nine snaps, four past rushing snaps, two pressures, one sack, another one would have been a sack if Josh Allen wasn't an alien. As Tony Rommel always would call him and guess that Tony Rommel thing's done, huh?
But yeah, having him out there, that will impact Prince Leigh's ability to have success on Sunday. Big opportunity for him, not just on Sunday, but for the rest of the season. Let's see it. Let's see it, Prince Leigh. And behind him, I asked Dave, who would step up potentially, you know, who else needs a step up? He said Travis Gibson, Thomas Inkum, those guys had solid pre-season. There's six pressures, Thomas four pressures. And there was also Jeremiah Moon, who could be a candidate to be elevated from the practice squad as he was added to practice squad on Wednesday, where they released Camp Gill. So we'll see what they decide to do there. Now speaking of practice squad elevations for the game day roster, someone asked me this on Tuesday or Wednesday, rather for the weekly Wednesday mailbag, as far as my thoughts on if I'm Dave Canal, who's going to be active on game day. I am very curious. And I'm going to ask Dave about, hey, you have five tight ends. We talk about special teams being important. Or you can have all five active or is it one going to be out? How is that going to work out? And one guy wondering about his Darren Waller, he's been an active participant at practice the last three weeks.
So that goes back to the final week of the preseason when he was out there on Monday. Prior to the joint practice on Wednesday against Houston, where he participated did not play on Friday. He of course made the 53 was on the roster all last week. He's here this week, not on the injury port at all. He's out there doing his thing. And at this point in time of the season, the media, I have not gone out to practice. All this week, I'm hoping to traditionally go out there, at least on Thursdays and on maybe Wednesdays, depending on how things are going at NASCAR. But difficult for me to do that throughout the season, but at least Thursdays and Fridays try to get out there or at least be there for a locker room, be there for Dave, press conference and all that. But we're not really seeing a ton. We're seeing a little bit of individual drills. We're seeing a little bit of that special team stuff. We're seeing stretching. We're not seeing anything. They're just getting started. So he's been out there, but what's his role? Does he ever roll in his office? Darren, I asked him what was the role that they told you? He said, roles are earned until you start practicing. He's only been practicing for three weeks. And one of those weeks is game week. Tommy's been here. We know what time his role is. We know what Mitchell Evans role is.
I don't know what JT Sanders role is, but at least I said he's a special team kind of guy. So that's at least white still in the roster. And then Felipe Franks obviously a special teamer is Darren Waller, part of special teams? Is Darren Waller going to be on the roster? At least not on the roster, but on the active 53, not active. He's going to be active on game. Is he getting uniform or are they going to kind of slow that slow play that a little bit more? That's something I want to know. And what are they going to do with the offensive line? Rashid Walker starting out left tackle. Damien Lewis starting out left guard. Fortner Luke forner starting at center. Rob Hunt at right guard. The Monroe feeling at right tackle making his NFL debut in a regular season behind those guys. As far as guys who are on the active 53 are stone foresight who will be your swing tackle on Sunday. Albert Reese who would be playing his first game. I don't know what they're going to do there. He's the only other tackle on the roster. Now according to what panthers calm as the team is listing Jake Kerhan as a tackle. So maybe Kerhan is a tackle slash guard as he played last year and they have Reese be
an active. Kerhan is effectively the Brady Christians him. That's a tough loss for them. Not that Brady because you at least would have six guys you trusted with. I guess a question mark around freely because he is a rookie but six guys you would have felt good about playing where right now it's five and that five is still questionable because of feeling being a rookie. So stones back there. Albert Reese. I don't know if you want your hoping everyone stays healthy and he's not at the play at all. Maybe you can play a little special teams as an extra off into lineman. I don't know. Corey Bullock has been here since last Monday last Tuesday. Are you ready to rely on him? Sam Heck same case. So in that same case when he's a rookie I'm curious like this Chandler's a volugette uniform. Is he in an elevation because he's been around here? It's Jake Kerhan. That's something I'm really curious about. I'll probably ask David about as well when looking at the roster math for Sunday and your panthers facing off against the bears. The final word. We'll talk about that here in just a moment on locked on panthers. Matt Dairy here from the locked on lions podcast. You know, life insurance is one of those things. One final thought heading into the Panthers week one matchup against the Chicago Bears. The Panthers have not won a home opener or opener period a week one game. Three different ways to say it since 2021 against the New York Chets, which also was my first episode hosting locked on Panthers during a regular season game. I started back on March 29th of 2021.
It's been a great ride and blessed to be able to talk and cover my home town team. A team I sat there at section 119 team of my dad all those years growing up here in Toronto. I'm blessed to be able to cover them. Bless that y'all. Listen that y'all watch because if you didn't, I wouldn't be here. So if you guys want me gone, stop listening, stop watching. But please don't do that. I really enjoy having roof over my head. I enjoy being able to afford the things that I can afford. So thank you guys for everything. But yeah, 2021. You know what the quarterback was? Caroline of that day. Sam Darnold was the quarterback. Newflay for the jets that day. Zach Wilson, Robert Sala. DOA buddy, dad on arrival when he decided, let's go get Zach Wilson to be our quarterback. Now he's in Tennessee with another terrible owner. So bless that man. He's rich. But he don't know what he's doing. But looking at the last couple of years, it's really been no contest. Last year, 26 of 10 against Jacksonville on the road. Really wasn't even that close. You look at 2024. 47 to 10 at Norilland's Bryce was awful in that game.
Dave can house his first game. Miscommunications in the back end. Just terrible performance there. Brown gets injured. He's out for the rest of the season. Horrible, no good, very bad day down in Nolive in 2024. 2023, Bryce's first game on the road. Not ideal. But they lose to Atlanta. 24 to 10. S2 picks there. Also was a fumble right by my standards that hurt them in that game. It's a rookie. It's a loss on the road is the visual game. Not ideal. But it's the last time they really competitive in a week one game was against Cleveland back in 2022. Baker Mayfield starting quarterback revenge game that I built up all off season log and Baker wasn't all that great. He had that one played a Robbie Anderson though or chosen Robbie or Robbie chose whoever the hell he wants to call himself nowadays. But the pantsers lost that game. It's been a minute, y'all. And I hate the fact that look, we're talking about three straight road games. They've had this their second home game in the last five years. Now you look at just the last six years total. It will be their third. So it evens out.
Why is it that they had three straight on the road? How about you make sure they have three straight at home because I rather week one be in the stadium. It's a little more exciting. Like I know me for some actually had a week one game at home, cover the team inside Baker, Baker stadium. So going to get to well, not the first time. I guess I was there. Well, they had home week one in 2019. And I think it was yeah, the Rams game Rams week one. So not the first time. It's the first time it's 2019. That'll be there at home inside the stadium for a week one matchup. And you just feel like the season is like right there. You feel it more when you're at home. But this is an important game for Carolina. Because the vibes Adam Goldett mentioned him earlier is on the show on Thursday. He brought up like to the vibes you'll off. And I was like, kind of man because you get to camp. You find out oh crap, Taylor, blood clot. Don't know when he's going to come back. I already know that it keys out. So that's your starting time. Because the last four years, not going to be playing week one. And the next court in tears, ACL on the first day of practice. They damn one, maybe and really then you look at your receiver, Chris Brasel, you thought come in be a deep ball threat. Me push XL.
XL does not play well this season. He tears his ace LCL. He's done for the year. And then you hear about the reports from Jacksonville where the Panthers lost. You can't lose practice guys, but they weren't great at practice. They were getting pushed around there early. But then they kind of figured out in the second half of that practice. Then you watch them against Buffalo and fans are not able to go to practice the last two years. So the only site that they get of this team is either Fanfest, which is fun, but doesn't matter. Or it's sort of preseason games, which a lot of y'all take way too seriously. Sex by what the vibes are off because people are just getting themselves just razzled by watching mainly the backers, but being seeing a small sample size of the starters and they didn't look good offensively against Buffalo. Defensively they didn't even look that great as Josh Allen in the first team could move the ball and Buffalo didn't punt at all in that game. Right? How's it happen? And then you look at Jacksonville, okay. And then you hear what we talked about. We saw on that Wednesday morning. It's Houston. And I think that's what the vibes are off. I think for the vibes that were immaculate throughout the off season, go to the playoffs,
quit yourself well, price fifth year option. You get them in Lloyd, you go out and get jail and Phillips. You're able to keep some players that you think are great for you. People were feeling good about it. But I think really since that weekend, July, when we heard about Ike and then scorching and went down and in this ensuing weeks, things have been a little shaky. Vibes been on. People are not as confident I think. Now, let's think from what you all sent me as far as your expectations. Maybe you're confident. But yeah, social media is just one small subsection of Panthers population. It's a very small one because most people aren't on social media. Talk about the Panthers, I would think. But still, I just, I can feel it. And I would love for them, for my own sake, to get off to a week one start because I've only done one week one podcast back in 21 to first one where the Panthers actually won a game. So I think a strong start is necessary. At least be competitive. Don't go out there and embarrass yourself. But winning week one sets them up for a strong start to the season where they go to Atlanta, where they won the last two years on the road against the Falcons and then they go to
Cleveland and Lord knows what that situation going to be like by time to get to Cleveland a couple of weeks time. You win this one against a good Bears team. Look Atlanta tied you. That's technically they died. They were eight nine last year, but it's possible and you swap them, but it's possible that can't last three and a half. And they're coming home for Sunday football and this city is on fire. Electric for its time back in prime time on SNF. You could be three and a half, but you got to win the first one. You can't win it all to you when the first one. So very important that they get out to a good start. At least be competitive. Don't look as ill prepared as they have the last two years. That is progress, but the progress people want to see is a W in the win column. So see if Carolina can get it done on Sunday, one o'clock Eastern time inside Bank America Stadium. I will be live with y'all inside the stadium on Sunday, probably around five o'clock or so, five, 15. We will have our squad show. They will be on before me.
So check them out. But if you want to get my thoughts on the game, please stick around. I will be doing that live from the Panthers, Stadium there and uptowns are on the one Sunday around five, 15 or so. So check that out. Ready to go live excited about that excited to be up there at the stadium on Sunday and to talk about this team cover this team throughout this 2026 regular season and hopefully post season as well.
