Khan Faces ICC Charges Amid Israel Cases

On April 3, Kareem Khan, the British prosecutor at the International Criminal Court,

is now facing disciplinary charges for allegedly sexually harassing colleagues.

This comes right after he pushed for arrest warrants against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu

and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallantback. In May 2024, the accusations stem from two women

who claim Khan made unwanted advances and engaged in non-consensual acts during work trips over

several months. Khan strongly denies any misconduct and took a leave of absence when the probe

started earlier this year. His legal team calls the move alarming, pointing out that a panel of

judges unanimously cleared him of wrongdoing, but the court's larger supervisory group overruled

that advice. In the latest vote, 15 members backed the charges with two abstaining and four opposing.

Khan's side says they weren't even directly notified. This internal drama at the ICC raises
