Kittle Praises Saleh, Urges Titans Patience

On March 22nd, Robert Salis back in the NFL as the Tennessee Titans' new defensive coordinator

after stints with the San Francisco 49ers.

He served there from 2017 to 2020 as defensive coordinator.

Then return last season following his head coaching job with the New York Jets.

George Kiddell, the 49ers tight end, has worked with Salah across all those years and shared

some strong praise for him recently.

As season marked, Kiddell's fifth straight year around Salah, and that's when their

bond really grew.

Kiddell started dropping by Salah's office twice a week for chats lasting 5-30 minutes.

He described Salah as someone who's really into conspiracy theories, which added a

fun personal layer to their talks.

Kiddell highlighted Salah's skills beyond the field, calling him an inspiring leader with

sharp messaging.

Salah helped invent the defensive scheme they ran, and even with heavy injuries last

year, he contributed to the team's 13 wins.

Looking ahead, Kiddell urged Titan supporters to be patient with Salah and rookie quarterback

Cam Ward.

He pointed to the 49ers own rocky starts under Kyle Shanahan, like going 0 and 9 early,

or 4 and 12 the next year, before turning.
