San Francisco 49ers tied in George Kittle suffered a torn Achilles tendon in week 18 against

the Philadelphia Eagles, sidelining him for a style lining him for a stive.

On Tuesday's episode of The Bustin with the Boys podcast, Kittle shared that his recovery

is progressing perfectly and right on track.

Fans and analysts have wondered what caused the injury so late in the season and Kittle

chalked it up to the brutal toll of a full NFL campaign on his body.

He revealed a previously undisclosed ankle problem from the Monday night football game against

the Indianapolis Colts, where he tore two ligaments, but kept playing 41 of 66 snaps.

Kittle believes compensating for that weak ankle over the final weeks shifted all his

weight to the right side, leading to the Achilles tear in an entire.

Awkward position, though he had no prior soreness there.
