Kristi Norm has been referred to the Department of Justice for a criminal investigation for allegations that she lied to Congress in her recent testimony. Given the evidence that recently has been reported clearly supporting the conclusion that she did lie to Congress, a case against Noem would be like shooting perjury fish in a barrel.
But what will Pam Bondi do with this criminal referral?
Glenn discusses these topics and more.

Are you afraid if you put boots on the ground in a random,
could be another Vietnam Trump?
No, I'm not really afraid of anything.
Do you have any thoughts on the bones Captain Cadet bone skaters?
Draft dodging coward and him not being afraid of anything?
Well, yes, all I can say is this.
I mean, that question just stunned me for a second.
And he's right, this isn't going to be like Vietnam.
Certainly not for him.
Nobody's getting bone spurs and nobody's getting venereal disease
in any operation out there, unlike his war.
This man is out of his mind.
I'm sorry people, we are way past 25th Amendment time
with regards to this war.
Yeah.
This is, it's queuing up to being a disaster.
And I've got people out there going,
oh, we're the, we drop the most bombs and we're having the most capable weapon systems out there.
That does not mean victory.
Go ask the nations that we supposedly soundly defeated
with the most bombs and the most technology like, you know,
the defeated country of Vietnam.
Oh, wait, or the defeated country of Afghanistan with the Taliban.
Oh, wait, guys with flip flops beat us regularly because of this myth
that if we drop enough bombs and we kill enough locals that we win.

Hey all, Glenn Kirschner here.
So friends, members of the Senate Judiciary Committee
and the House Judiciary Committee just sent the criminal referral to the Department of Justice
urging them to investigate Kristinaum for lying to Congress.
Here's just a little bit of the announcement of that criminal referral.
House Senate Judiciary Leaders refer Kristinaum to Justice Department for Purgery Investigation.
Today, Representative Jamie Raskin,
Ranking Member of the House Judiciary Committee,
and US Senate Democratic Whip Dick Durbin,
Ranking Member of the Senate Judiciary Committee,
referred Embattled Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristinaum
to the Department of Justice for Investigation into potential
perjury charges and for knowingly making false statements under oath,
following her appearances before the committee on March 3rd and 4th, 2026.
In a letter to Attorney General Bondy, the Ranking Member's right,
we write to refer evidence showing Secretary of Homeland Security Kristinaum repeatedly misled
the Senate Committee on the Judiciary during her testimony on March 3rd, 2026,
and the House Committee on the Judiciary during her testimony on March 4th, 2026.
A number of her statements appear to violate criminal statutes prohibiting perjury
and knowingly making false statements to Congress.
The Ranking Members continued after citing the applicable federal statutes,
after months of evading our committee's requests to testify in routine oversight hearings,
Secretary Nome made a series of demonstrably false statements in a brazen attempt to undermine
critical congressional oversight of the Department of Homeland Security.
The Ranking Members then cited four categories of statements from the hearings
that amply support an investigation into whether Nome knowingly and willfully made false statements
to Congress, including statements regarding DHS's failure to comply with court orders,
contracting detaining U.S. citizens and detention conditions.
On the way next, Glenn talks about what might happen to Kristinaum. This is Justice Maddox.
When Donald Trump was inaugurated like all presidents, he swore a note to preserve,

For lying to Congress, well, on one charge in particular, it would kind of be like
shooting perjury fish in a barrel. Why do I say that? Well, listen to this pro-publica reporting
from just a few days ago. headline, christineau misled congress about top aides role in DHS contracts.
Testifying before the Senate Judiciary Committee, gnome denied that Cory Lewandowski had
any role in approving contracts, but internal DHS records and interviews with current and former
agency staffers contradict her testimony. Homeland Security Secretary Kristineau misled Congress
on Tuesday about the powers of her controversial top aide Cory Lewandowski,
according to records reviewed by pro-publica and four current and former DHS officials.
Lewandowski had an unusual role at DHS where he is not a paid government employee,
but is nonetheless acting as a top official, helping gnome run the sprawling agency.
Four months, members of congress have asked the agency to detail the scope of his Lewandowski's
work and authority. At a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on Tuesday, Senator Richard
Blumenthal asked gnome whether Lewandowski has, quote, a role in approving contracts at DHS,
gnome responded with a flat denial. No, but internal DHS records reviewed by pro-publica
contradict gnome Senate testimony. The records show Lewandowski personally approved a multi-million
dollar equipment contract at the agency last summer, and that was not a one-off.
Lewandowski has approved numerous contracts at DHS and often needs to sign off on large ones
before any money goes out the door. The current and former department employees said.
Last year, gnome imposed a new policy that consolidated her and her top aide's power
over all spending at DHS, requiring that she personally review and approve all contracts
above $100,000. Before the contracts reach gnome, they must be approved by a series of political
appointees who each sign or initial a checklist sometimes referred to internally as a routing
sheet. Typically, the last name on that checklist before gnomes is Lewandowski's, the DHS officials
said. Okay friends, you really don't need to be a career prosecutor to spot the perjury there,
do you? Let's recap. According to DHS documents, Cory Lewandowski
personally approved a multi-million dollar DHS equipment contract, and that is also according
to four former and current DHS officials, and Cory Lewandowski's name is on the routing sheet,
and he is the last one to check off his approval before the contract goes to Kristi gnome.
And when gnome is asked, if Cory Lewandowski has a role in approving DHS contracts,
and she answers no, that's a little something we call perjury for dummies.
Now friends, the obvious question, will Pam Bondy pursue accountability for the crimes of
Kristi gnome? No, of course not. Do we really expect Pam Bondy to pursue accountability for
the crimes, you know, of anybody in Trump's orbit, in Trump's cabinet, in Trump's criminal
circle? No, of course not, but that's okay. Let Pam Bondy bury this investigation,
the client to bring charges for what obviously seemed to be provable crimes, let Bondy obstruct
justice, let her serve as an accessory after the fact, helping gnome avoid accountability for
her crimes all good, because when Trump and company fall from power and they will,
accountability will come, must come for gnome and Bondy, because, you know, justice matters.
Friends, as always, please stay safe, please stay tuned, and I look forward to talking with y'all
again tomorrow. You could watch Glenn on his YouTube channel, also find him on substack,
