Welcome everyone.
It is the local toy dealers KSR Post Game Show.
That's when 82 to 77 as we are now officially on the road and at the SEC tournament sponsor
by Clayton and Croum and Bert Tavern bourbon.
Clayton and Croum with the leather, Bert Tavern bourbon with the bourbon and we are here
in Bowling Green where we stopped at the minute to watch the game and saw the cats get
a five point victory that was never, it was never, you know, not in question.
They were able to win but never had a bleed bigger than 11 and came down at one point
down to five at the end but the cats end up winning 82 to 77.
All on the heels of a great performance by Brandon Garrison, maybe Brandon Garrison's
best game at Kentucky, 18 points, basically hit two threes that turned the game from a
one point game into a seven point lead.
I said on the pre-game show this morning that Garrison, if he got on double digits, I
would ride a mechanical bull at Kid Rocks, never thinking that would be possible, not
only did he do it, he scored 18 Ryan Limon and was the key to today's victory.
Saddle up Matthew, BG Garrison's the hero, we're always going to remember this is the
Brandon Garrison game, he was fantastic, the announcers were bragging on him every trip
down the floor, but if you heard that wind gust siren, it went off at about an hour
ago in Kentucky, it was everybody's exhaling relief, got the first one, well they did
and it wasn't certain, I mean at one point LSU took the lead in the second half and it
was not certain at all, as a matter of fact, LSU I thought played very, very well, Kentucky
just didn't quite have the energy of LSU and then the one kid on LSU could not miss
for about 30 minutes of the game, just wore us out, I mean they had Chandler on him,
wore him out, Aberdeen, he kind of was taken, then they did put away on him towards the
end and I thought oh we did a better job than the other guys, but he was tough to stop.
Yeah, they switched around and finally always the guy that finally slowed him down a little
bit, late in the second half, what he ended up with, like 27 points or something, he
was eating us alive.
But you really do have to give Brandon Garrison a lot of the credit, I thought the game,
I mean it turned around, I mean it was a one point game back and forth, back and forth
and then when he hit those two threes, not only I think it energized the team, it didn't
just give us a seven point lead, all of a sudden the defense was a lot more intense, I mean
really, if you go back and look, the defensive possessions from like the, I don't know when
you hit those threes, there were like seven minutes to go or whatever, from there until
about the three minute mark, we were probably the best defensive possessions we had in the
game and I think as crazy as it is, Brandon Garrison out there hitting threes and then tapping
his shoulder kind of got everybody on level.
I think you want to send you a message, he took a personal what you said on the pregame
show.
Come on, it's crazy, like it's crazy that that was the difference in the game.
Well he was a great three point shooter all season, he only made two threes all season and
he made two today, that's the kind of thing that if it didn't happen to us, would drive
us inside, like if you're an LSU fan, there's probably six that watch the game, but if you
are, that would drive you absolutely not.
So in about a minute's time, he missed a wide open slam dunk and then he would have given
him double digits, he's going to get a double digits and then he came down, hit back to
back three pointers.
That is Brandon Garrison to a core right there, but you know, he came out immediately, got
a couple quick backs.
I think that kind of guy's confidence.
He made three back to the basket hook shots during the game, which is a shot he's been
able to get all year, but just not consistently make.
He just didn't could not consistently make that shot all year.
And then he was able to do it today and I actually think that made a big difference.
Oh way, obviously was excellent.
He had a little stretch that wasn't good where he missed a couple open jumpers, missed a free
throw, but besides that, I thought he was really good throughout the game.
Got some good minutes from from Aberdeen here and there, you know, but besides that, they
had to grind it out and I can't believe Brandon Garrison's a difference, but he is and now
the cats move on to play Missouri tomorrow.
You know, there are a couple different points of the game where different guys did show
up.
You mentioned already, you know, what, what Aberdeen.
Well, Yellowvitch started exactly at the beginning.
Problem was he was getting torched on deep.
He and Chandler just got torched on defense.
Chandler really struggled the entire game and and Yellowvitch did two, but Yellowvitch did
score seven points early.
Cam Williams got some minutes came in, hit a three.
I know one though that struggled on defense.
I mean, he made the three, but you I don't.
It's just he's going to have a hard time defensively probably because until he gets back to
it.
He played pretty good defense today, but you know, I mean, this team, if you watch Kentucky
this year, it's kind of like, Oh, way and Aberdeen are going to at least an SEC play.
Oh, way and Aberdeen are going to play well.
They're going to get there.
So the question is, can you have a third guy and sometimes it's Chandler, sometimes it's
being Deer Botte and then tonight it was Brandon Garrison was the third guy.
Well, if you listen to John Crispin on the broadcast and the play by play guy, they acted
like Brandon Garrison was first team all American because they kept saying when he could win
anything.
I always forget it back in.
You got to put him on the floor.
I always forget about the Crispin brothers and Kelly, and then it'll just show up once
every two years and do one of our games.
And I'm like, Oh, yeah, the Crispin brothers, his state, that's right, he just sit rough.
So you know, they just they needed to just win it.
They did decent crowd there.
Now I think a lot of Kentucky fans are making their way today and tonight.
And tomorrow is it, is it Tennessee that plays the winner of this game or Vandy, Vandy,
Vandy's in our top bracket with Florida.
Well, so it's Tennessee though.
Who got the buy?
Oh, I don't know.
Vandy has the buy.
So Tennessee.
So tomorrow, I actually think that's going to be a crowded gym because you're going to
have Kentucky and Tennessee both playing.
Yeah.
I don't think Missouri will have a lot of people.
If Auburn wins, they might have a lot of people.
If Auburn wins, they might be playing Tennessee tomorrow for the tournament like to have a
shift because it's to have a shot to make the tournament.
So I actually think tomorrow's day atmosphere could be quite an atmosphere depending on
and on what happens.
I think that would be a good ticket.
You got Kentucky.
Yeah.
If Auburn loses today, they're out.
But if they win today and then were to beat Tennessee, I think they would have a chance
then to make the tournament.
I got to admit, I was a little pleasantly surprised of all the blue that was in there
today.
They said the whole first level and second level was full of nothing but blue.
Upper level was empty spots, but overall, the Kentucky kind of took over as they should.
I just kind of surprised it happened on a Wednesday at 12.30.
So I kind of expected this game to be tight and back and forth.
Do you feel confident after this game that this is a team that can make some kind of run
at least win tomorrow?
I'm confident they can win tomorrow because we owe Missouri, man.
They came in there and punked us on our home floor because I ended up being five points.
We owe them, man.
And Dennis Gace, whatever reason to have Kentucky's number, we owe them.
So I think they go and look themselves in a mirror tonight, come out, man up.
Be the wounded dog coming into the game tomorrow, Matt, we're going to get them.
Sometimes I think games can, games like this can really come down to a couple of shots.
I think the garrison threes obviously are the most important.
But I would also say, when we were up five with like two minutes and 40 seconds left and
we were, we had not scored on a number of possessions.
Oh, I hit that long too.
Yeah.
I think that was a huge shot because it got it to seven.
I think psychologically, there's a big difference between a two possession game and a three
possession game.
And that shot makes, you know, takes it there.
So garrison threes were the biggest, but I think that always shot at the end was really
big as well.
And the second half, Kentucky had three offensive threats in Ohway, Aberdeen and Brennan
Garrison.
But Colin Chandler's got to get involved.
He's got to find a way.
This is three straight games he's not played well and he had a three that would have ended
the game.
He had a wide open corner three that he missed.
I mean, there was a sequence before that Ohway make that I thought could haunt us.
You had Chandler miss a wide open three.
Diabote shot, the worst shot in the history of organized basketball, a wide open three
that he air balled three and a half feet short.
That might, there may have never been a worse, a worse shot than that.
But we got the ball back and then Chandler threw the worst lob in the history of basketball.
And those three plays I thought, now if we lose, these are going to be the plays but then
Ohway came and made the shot the next time down.
You had kind of walked away for a second.
I walked away because those two nervous.
I was pacing through this man.
I was about to go play 50 cents slots.
And then you holler at Mario, the Diabote just air ball that shot by Diabote.
I know we won, but that shot by Diabote could have haunted us.
I mean, my mother is listening.
My mother could have gotten it closer than him and he was wide open wide open, because he
figured if Brandon can knock down a couple, that's what it was.
He was like, I'm not letting BG take all this shot.
I got to get mine.
So you know, but it's not a secret that Gander Gander, Garrison frustrates fans frustrates
me a lot.
Is this a game that you think kind of redeems him in some ways in the fans eyes?
I mean, this will be again, this is a game we won because of him.
I honestly feel like this is the Brandon Garrison.
We thought we were going to get the whole season.
I thought that he made a big jump coach, Pope Kip, talked about how you much he was in
and improved.
I thought that's how Brandon Garrison play all year.
We really had like, what, this is his second game we've played with him.
But this is the only game I can remember of his career that I would say we won because
of him.
True.
I can't think of another game we won because of him and you get in the post season when
you get a game that for whatever reason, like I remember when we lost to North Carolina
in 2017, if we had won, that was the eyes that come for his game.
You remember people forget how well he played in that North Carolina game.
We lost, but he played so well and it just kind of fell to history.
This is, I mean, it's first right.
It's a Wednesday of the SEC tournament, not the biggest game in the world, but this
is the, the Brandon Garrison.
I'll say this.
Brandon's other great game was at Ruperena and his son was there.
Guess who was there today in the crowd?
His son was there again today.
Can we force that baby to come to game?
Yes.
Front row seats, buy him a ticket, take him to every game the rest of the season.
Let me tell you who's annoying when Brandon Garrison's playing well.
Mario.
Yes he is.
He talks, try, Mario, because not only does he cheer for him, he starts going, could
be G.
Here we go.
Shoot.
Like he's, he's, he's playing to his worst instincts.
He wants him to shoot even more than he does.
He also threw a really good pass.
He did.
We forgot about that.
The really good bounce pass, I think we missed the layup, but it was, like, he threw a really
good pass during that stretch too.
And we needed him because, you know, Malachi got in foul trouble so early.
He didn't play hardly at all in the first half, played very little in the second half.
Malachi struggled today.
I mean, not just the foul trouble, but he was getting pushed around.
I mean, he, the big guy for LSU was going through him and there wasn't a whole lot.
He, he, he really could seem to do it.
And there's one point that I think Yelavitch was playing the five.
He had both Brandon and Malachi out, so Yelavitch was playing the five a little bit.
Well, this is a big win.
It is.
I mean, it doesn't, probably doesn't change Kentucky seed.
I think it probably makes it to where now I don't think they'll drop below a seven no
matter what because Missouri is a, you know, Missouri is a six seven eight seeded team.
Stop a six six seven eight seeded team anyway.
So I think if you lost to him, I think this probably locks Kentucky in as a seven.
And then I think if you were to win tomorrow, you got a chance to get to a six.
I like the Tuckis chances tomorrow.
I know we're writing on the heels of this win today, but I just feel like we're better
than Missouri.
We owe them.
We need to be win this game.
We are better than Missouri, but we're better than LSU too.
Yeah.
And let me say LSU.
I, I'm not.
Look, they're, they're three and fit.
They're better than a three and 15 SEC team.
I don't think they're good.
Like South Carolina Ole Miss, I think are bad.
I think don't think they're bad.
I think I don't know why I haven't watched all their games.
I don't why they're three and 15.
They lost a lot of close games, I think early.
Yeah, they should be better than that.
There's a coach.
They're going to be fired because they actually have some, yeah, they're going to, he's
going to get fired.
Yeah.
And we'll, you know, they're going to try to get we'll wait.
But he'll be, is he going to be the only SEC coach fired?
I think he will.
He said Lamont Ferris, South Carolina is bringing him back, right?
Yeah.
Lamont Ferris.
Yeah.
So I think he'll be probably the only one, the only new coach let go.
8-5-9-2-8-0-2287.
We are here at the Mint and Bowling Green, got some good fellas here, you all enjoying
yourselves?
Got Tall.
Hello to Tall with his Snoopy UK shirt.
I asked him, did UK officially license that shirt and he said, no, it was bought from China.
So pre tariffs and Mario is here and we're eating some nachos and we'll take your calls.
8-5-9-2-8-0-2287.
This is the local Toyota dealers KSR post game show.
Welcome back.
It is the local Toyota dealers KSR post game show.
A couple of things here.
First of all, my mom, look at this.
She's found emojis on the phone and she now only texts me in emojis.
I love it.
Look at this.
Love it.
Happy face.
Cross fingers.
Party.
Basketball.
I mean, look at this.
It all makes sense.
You teach my mom emojis.
That's all I'm getting.
Second.
We have, we do have one thing in my friend group.
People, these people aren't on the air, but you've heard me talk about them.
My friend, the turkey hunter, been part of KSR since the beginning.
Yes.
Hubby, who started KSR with me.
Yes.
Turkey hunter was supposed to bring hubby to the SEC tournament.
Forgot him.
No.
Left without him.
That can't be a real story.
That we're all best for it.
Left him.
Left him in Lexington.
How do you forget?
When did he realize he had left?
Take your friend to the SEC tournament.
Did he not realize until he pulled in?
Like, we're okay, hubby, we're here.
No.
Hubby takes him to sports and said, what time are we leaving?
And he goes, I'm already in Hopkinsville.
How are you going to forget?
Like, there ain't that many of us.
So how's the hub, how's hubby going to get down here?
Well, you ended up getting in a car with somebody else.
But thank goodness, I didn't forget to all, for instance, he's here.
I don't understand how you forget somebody to go to the SEC tournament.
It happens to the best of us sometimes.
All right, let's take the calls.
859-28-02287, are you guys sitting here just so you won't be able to hear the calls?
I'm sorry.
But who's up first?
Devon.
Devon.
Go ahead, Devon.
Hey, Matt, how are you, sir?
Doing good.
Good win for the cats today.
Couple of quick questions.
Number one.
Don't you think we could pick up the pace on office a little bit?
We essentially run a half-court offence.
I think when we pick, we got the board.
When we pick up the pace, we're a lot better.
I mean, you know, in the half-court, if you think about it in the half-court, we have two options to score.
Away or Aberdeen, go into the basket, or Roland Chandler off to get a three.
But teams are taking that away.
So you're basically away in Aberdeen, rolling them out of the basket,
or hoping that you get an offensive rebound with Dia Bataire.
So I'm with you, paste in transition.
Away might be one of the best players in the country.
So you got to get him in transition, try two more.
And second question.
Will Brandon Garrison now get selected ahead of Jaden Clayton's in the draft?
I don't think so.
I don't think so.
I mean, I appreciate the call.
I would love to bring...
We need to figure out if we can have a Mario to swap.
We need to figure out if we can have a double down of if Garrison does it again.
What would I do?
Get on an actual horse.
I got admit, I don't know if I'm more excited about Kentucky winning today,
or the fact of seeing you on a mechanical bull.
Yeah.
I was going to say I had to score double digits and win.
But we went back and listened to the tape.
I didn't say I win.
But they won.
It wasn't that.
It doesn't matter.
Yeah.
Do you want him to shoot more threes?
I mean, like he's now, he was two for 14 coming in.
He was two for three today.
So now he's four for 17 on the year.
Still 22%.
No.
Well, they played 100 in whatever 40 something minutes or two.
And it gets two and 40 seconds in.
Thank you, Steph Curry.
No.
Because he has the earned at least one the next game.
Yes.
One attempt.
He likes the heat.
He and Diabata both love the heat checks.
No thing.
Diabata.
Aberdeen two, man, all three of them.
If they make a shot, the next time they get it, they want it.
They want to put it right back up.
I would love to see the stats after Aberdeen hits a shot.
What's percentage?
He makes takes an attempt.
Next trip down the floor.
It's like every single time.
He loves it.
But I can't complain.
I don't think Aberdeen was great today.
But in general, when he gets fouled at the end, I trust he's going to make it.
Like, I love away.
But when he gets fouled at the end, I don't trust he's going to make it.
I trust Aberdeen is going to make free throws at the end of games.
And again, only five turnovers as a team.
That was that's amazing.
Five turnovers.
With the backup point guard.
It's not even really a point guard.
What about away played 39 minutes?
Does that confirm what we've, what we've all said?
Did he seem fatigued to you?
Did he play okay?
I think he maybe seemed a little fatigued at the end when he was missing those open shot.
But at the same time, as I saw somebody say on Twitter, the question is not whether or not
away is better 100% or not or 80%.
He's of course better 100%.
The question is, is away at 80% better than Jasper and Noah?
That's the question.
And the answer is yes.
So I understand his level of play is going to drop.
But his, his 80% or even Aberdeens 80% is better than our other option.
Yeah, you got to have him on them.
So that's why you got to have him on.
And he did that today.
Aberdeen, I mean, always play 39 Aberdeen, play 37.
Oh, wait, 20 over 20 points again.
I mean, it's like every time you just count on him, you're going to get 20 to 25 points every game.
Who's next?
Fuzzy.
Fuzzy, go ahead, fuzzy.
Louisville's losing by the way by five right now to SMU.
Go ahead.
You're good.
So then they'll Aberdeen all season long.
That guy has been the most consistent straight face player I've ever seen.
Like he's never sweating.
Get up to the free line.
Doesn't look anxious.
What in the world have in the first time he ever shows excitement?
He wagged his tongue.
It's a good point.
Has anyone ever heard of anything like that?
That is a good point.
Aberdeen gets that technical, which wasn't great timing.
But he never really does that.
It's like the first time he kind of does something like that.
Because you know, Oway and Garrison and Dia Bata, they're always talking trash.
I don't see Aberdeen doing a lot.
And then the one time he does it technical apparently off the court.
He's like a just a quiet kid like he doesn't even talk.
He's so quiet.
So that is his first emotion.
He showed all season.
Do you think fans even know that we have like a first couple of Kentucky basketball?
Probably not.
He's like he dates and I think seriously clear a strad.
Yeah.
So we have a first couple of UK basketball.
They're both what six four.
If both of them.
Let's can we go ahead and sign their kid?
Amen.
If they stay together for the future.
Get that NIL deal in place.
Speaking of kid like bam, you know, bam dates.
What Asia is married to Asia Wilson.
Can you imagine their kid?
I mean, good.
That'd be like the best basketball player ever.
Who's next?
Jake is next.
Jake, go ahead, Jake.
Hey, how you doing?
What's up?
I just had a question and a statement.
So I had to work today.
This is the first game I've pissed all year.
And I was listening to the game.
Yeah, and I was listening to the game and I go into people's houses for my work.
And I during the last like six or seven minutes, I went to this guy's house.
And he was watching the game and he let me sit on his couch and watch.
Oh, I love it.
I love it.
Can I do you mind me asking what you do?
Yeah, I'm a measure check for a window company.
Okay, so this is great.
So you work for a window company and you had to work during the game.
And one of your customers just let you sit and watch the end of the game with him.
I love that.
That's a very Kentucky basketball story.
Yeah.
Yes, I walked in.
He was watching it and I said I was listening to it.
And he said, have a seat and watch it with me.
So we were both screaming at the TV and stuff.
It was pretty funny.
That's awesome.
I love it.
And then my question is kind of a random question.
But I'm getting married here soon.
And I was just wondering if I sent you all an invite would anybody show up?
Probably not.
But we would, we'd use, well, we used to.
We don't have someone doing this anymore.
But since you called, I'll do it.
We will send like a little present.
Sounds good.
I will send you all an invite for sure.
I appreciate it.
Appreciate the call.
Although you never know, Ryan would show up.
We talked about just randomly crashing some wedding one dime.
And we used to get a bunch of them in Maria when she worked for us.
She would send out little thank you, little thank yous and T shirts.
But she now high up with on three.
So we don't, she's not sending in the businesses in and out T shirts anymore.
How is that so UK?
The guy like to sit down and watch the game with.
I mean, that's really what to be honest with you.
That's what's great about sports and specifically UK basketball.
You walk in a guy's house.
You share that thing and you sit and watch it.
That's, that's great.
In a world where we're always so divided.
That's really, that's nice.
Who's next Alex Alex.
Go ahead Alex.
Man, this reminds me of like if Hulk Hogan opened up WrestleMania as the opening match.
Cause we're the main event just because you're not the last game or the last match.
Doesn't mean you're not the main attraction, right?
But we can be the last we could be probably the first team in the history of today.
Though we, we, we, we weren't today.
We were the opening game and still were the main event.
Come on work with me here.
I agree with you.
And before I go, Ryan, can you say the words slurp?
Slurp.
Can you say the words for Ryan?
Appreciate it.
Oh, that's plenty.
I can't listen to Ryan say slurp.
It would be actually we might be the first team in the history of a major conference tournament
to be the first game and the last game.
If we were to go to the finals.
Five for five.
We got one down now.
We four for four starts tomorrow.
Yeah, well, we got the big ones game three.
Yes.
You know, that, that would, that's the one that'll be hard.
But tomorrow, I do think tomorrow could, could lock in.
I think we might be locked in as a seven anyway.
But tomorrow would certainly lock it in and maybe give you a chance at a six.
Jump up at a six and they get the win.
Yeah.
And I think that six is huge.
Cause I do think there's a huge gap between the twos and threes.
And you, you would have a shot against most of those threes.
Yeah, the way you let it out this morning on the pre game show.
It's amazing.
The difference between the six.
Cause we're not going to get Alabama.
So the other, if you're, if we're a six, we're probably going to be paired with like
Iowa State or Nebraska.
If you look at where the games are, that could, that could be in St. Louis, which is a place
people could drive to.
Yes.
You know, you play a, you play Nebraska in St. Louis.
I like Kentucky's chances in there.
Kentucky's had great success in the city of St. Louis.
Yeah.
Who's next?
Todd Todd.
Go ahead, Todd.
Hello, Matt.
What's up in the game today in the crowd there.
I thought I'll just thank you to myself.
You know, I, I bet this is the first time in a long time.
There's been not many people at the first game of the SEC.
Well, there was, you know, maybe at the, maybe at the first one.
They, they, they've had a couple of years where they let in people for free in the,
in the, in the first session at night and it would be full.
But you may be right for the day.
There hasn't been a Wednesday day session.
This is only the second year.
Yeah.
But if they had, I'm sure it probably is.
Yeah.
Uh, no, I was tickled with, uh, when the day always tickled when we win.
But you know what worries me is, is our inside defense.
It seems like we let players come in and just lay it in.
It's like we do.
Yeah, we do.
Well, you know, it's like we let them move our big guys around, you know,
they just keep backing into this instead of us trying to man up.
We just let them push us around.
You know, we, we need to start being a little bit tough real.
Well, I mean, I think that's why I appreciate the call.
I think that's why he so much saw so much garrison today.
Is he was so much, he, even though he can frustrate me down low too.
He's, he's tougher, more physical than the Moreno, who really struggled to guard today.
And our, our health defense was bad all day.
Guys would get a step on our guards and we wouldn't rotate over and they just end up right at the rim.
Yeah, you mentioned earlier, Malachi was kind of getting, before he got in foul trouble,
was kind of getting showed around a little bit.
You need moment Diabate and Brandon Garrison out there to show some muscle and some capacity to help the front court.
That's right.
On 2 8 0 22 87 Auburn has just tied it up against Mississippi State with 17 minutes to go.
And Louisville is down three to SMU.
We will keep you track of those games and seen a lot of people on their drive home.
I will assume people are going to head down an Asheville tickets.
Let's see what tickets are on the thing here tomorrow morning.
Yeah, because I, I mean, I bet they're, I bet they're, but I bet they're reasonable tomorrow.
Jump on them now if you got a chance.
Yeah, we will take a break and be right back.
It's a local Toyota dealers KSR post game show.
Welcome back.
It is a local Toyota dealers KSR post game show Joe Tipton of on three sports is reporting that former BYU staff
for Keegan Brown is being targeted for a front office role with UK basketball.
He worked with Pope at BYU.
I think he has worked with the Milwaukee Bucks.
He did not come to Kentucky.
I don't think there are some people who say
he might have had a little bit of a role in helping at first pick some of those players,
but he didn't even in that first year, but then he didn't come.
It's interesting.
If you go to his Twitter account, he has a lot of tweets about how you should build teams in the portal era.
So I'm sure somebody probably on KSR will compile those and you might get a sense.
I don't know if he's going to be the GM.
I don't think that's the necessarily the title they're going to use,
but you might get a sense of what he's going to be like based on all the things he writes.
It seems like he says you don't need five stars.
You need guys, he seems like another analytic person, which, you know,
well, just I've never heard of this guy, but just what you just said,
he does sound kind of GM ish.
Yeah, I mean, he has a lot of tweets about over the last two years
where he is just commented from afar on how you should build teams.
So that's very interesting.
So I'm sure, like I said, at some point,
somebody will probably compile, compile those into a post,
but I've had a couple of them sent to me today.
Brandon Garrett has scored 15 plus points five times in his UK career,
twice, two Americans to LSU.
Well, so maybe he likes that one.
And he seems to play really well against Oklahoma.
The other two teams are Oklahoma and South Carolina.
So if he brings that energy and that attitude to the game,
just makes Kentucky totally a different basketball team.
When person writes mad, I think you should lay off Ryan.
The creepier he is, the better it is for the show.
I don't agree with that.
Mario's shaking his head.
You're just a troublemaker.
You're the one that wants Brandon Garrison to shoot every time.
Although tonight, listen, I can't say anything.
He was, he was great.
He was our best three point shooter tonight.
We're talking about two for three.
He five nine, two eight, oh, 2287, who's next?
I would agree with that sentiment, but which one is next?
That it's better than mine.
We should let Ryan meet, no, stop.
You all, this is, there are women that listen to this show.
And I hear for, you know, but there are a couple that took up
for you. Who's next?
Dave is next.
Dave, go ahead, Dave.
Hey, Matt, I was hoping to get to talk to you
before the NCAA tournament.
And my wife and I are real avid Kentucky fans.
And we have a dilemma.
We have, we have, we have, we had something going
in the NCAA last year when Kentucky won two games.
I get real nervous like you.
And I have to walk away sometimes.
And I would wear, put on my hoodie, and I'd go over
into the kitchen, about 25 feet from the TV.
And I would watch from the kitchen where I couldn't really
see all the calls real clearly.
And it keeps me from getting too angry.
I just stayed on the couch and she'd give me feedback
from the couch and tell me what was going on.
That's interesting.
OK.
But then after two wins, people wanted to say, no, we're
Kentucky fans.
They want to start watching the games with it.
And they're kind of, you know, you don't let people watch.
If you're somebody that watches games by yourself,
then you don't watch them with other people.
I don't ever watch, I don't watch games with other people.
I mean, I did today.
But in general, I'm by myself.
I can't watch them with other people.
It was miserable.
I tried to sit on the couch.
I didn't want to be a jerk.
They were having conversations.
You can't ignore them.
So I just want to, you've already told me what I wanted.
You just, yeah, I can't do it.
I mean, I appreciate the people who like having social.
But especially in the postseason, the postseason is too
important to be social.
I appreciate the call.
Now, the people who can go to like KS Bar or TinRoof
and watch them with people, more power to you.
Because I do think it's fun to be in a collective
environment, but I personally can't do it.
I mean, I couldn't even sit with these guys.
I was walking around the slot machines during the end of the game.
I've been with you now in postseason for 11, 12 years.
And it just, when it gets time for the game,
you just walk away.
Just kind of in 2010 when we played in Syracuse
and we played against West Virginia and Cornell.
Yeah.
I left the arena and walked outside in a snowstorm.
In Syracuse, it was freezing because I just couldn't,
couldn't take it.
Well, and I could feel early.
We were losing that West Virginia game.
You, I could just tell, you could just tell.
And I was like, I don't want to be in here.
And I came back and went in the locker room after the game
and watched all those guys crying.
And I was, that's the last team I really felt close to.
And that still makes me, so I can still see
DeMarcus Cousins balling, Ramone Harris.
And it was, I hated it.
There's been, when you ended up in a, like a fitness room
in a hotel.
That was for the Wichita State.
Yeah.
I watched it on a treadmill.
We were up in Milwaukee and you had to go to some strange hotel.
I don't even know our hotel.
That was last year.
Yeah.
Last year I watched Kentucky Illinois in a hotel banquet.
That's right.
Yeah.
So we didn't, we just know that about you.
There's nothing wrong with you.
We know that's part of your fandom.
Just kind of what I do.
Yeah, who's next?
Andrew.
Andrew, go ahead, Andrew.
Thing is, all these games, I can remember, like I,
I set my car in 2014 in Dallas, in the parking lot
when we beat Wisconsin on the three at the buzzer.
Yeah.
So like, I remember where I am.
I just, I've never in the arena.
Go ahead.
Well, two things.
When the cats have done poorly this year in certain games,
Coach Pope has gotten criticized for his, you know,
his substitution procedure, I guess, I think, to say it.
What I wanted to say, one other thing about Colin Chang,
Chandler before I got off.
But what do you think he's done to change that way?
Well, I mean, look at today.
So look at today.
Here's what I would say, he's changed.
If I look at the minutes today, OA played 39 minutes.
Aberdeen played 37 minutes.
So he didn't make crazy subs.
Those guys played.
I would also notice there were 40 seconds where OA and Aberdeen
were both not on the court at the same time.
He kept one of them, even in their minute amount of time
out, he kept them both, at least one of them on the court,
the entire game except 40 seconds.
Also, he went Garrison Diabate 26-21,
Yellowvitch Moreno 14-12.
Ryan, there's going to be games where that's flipped, right?
And the 26-21 is Yellowvitch Moreno, and the 14-12 is.
So I actually thought he handled the substitution pattern very
well today, actually.
And he called time out.
Let me give him credit for that, too.
He called time out.
I thought the perfect time.
Made cut it from 11 to seven.
And he called a time out, right there,
rather than letting it get to four or something like that.
So I thought he was good on all that.
Or else you also hit some crazy good shots today,
especially in the first half.
I mean, they hit some first half.
We should have been up probably 10.
They hit some really good shots, but go ahead.
Yeah, the other thing before I get off Colin Chandler,
I know that he can be a consistently good three-point maker.
Do you think his production has just dropped off the last couple of games
because he's just gotten a little bit cold?
No, I think teams are key in on him.
Teams are clearly key in on him.
Like if you go look, I appreciate the call.
If you look at how teams played Kentucky earlier in the year,
they kind of guarded Chandler the same way they did away in Aberdeen.
Not now.
They're taking the view of we're not letting him get open looks.
And he's struggling to find other ways to score, you know?
Because the Vanderbilt game, he was so hot.
Next game, Texas A&M, took him out.
The next game, Florida took him out.
He can't beat people off the dribble.
And so it's making it very hard for him to get shots.
And then tonight he had two one open threes,
one in the first half and one in the second half in the corner.
And he just missed them.
So he said, I would like to see him get open more,
get away to get the ball in his hand to get the shot more.
But he can't consistently beat guys off the dribble.
He can he can sort of juke them and then pull up and shoot.
But he cannot beat them to the basket.
And they're getting to the point now.
They're saying, all right, beat me at the basket.
And he just can't do it.
They did that.
Well, you're right.
Once he beat his man, put up in the lane.
He's going to that.
He's going to take it a little step and then quickly elevating.
He can do that.
But if you'll watch now, they are.
They're not giving him a step.
And he just can't.
Where's like, if you do that, oh, I he'll take you to the room.
Yeah.
You can't with Chandler.
It doesn't work.
Yeah, football.
You know, the receiver tried to get some space.
He's got to find a way to get some space.
He just he just can't.
And so that.
But that's why you're seeing Aberdeen get more looks.
Yeah.
And that's why you saw.
You know, the Abate.
Why don't put in the corner during that shot?
There's next.
Let's give our Johnny rocker personal injury attorney,
money maker of the game next, Matt.
And you get small town compassion with big city results.
When you call the rocker at 2703214429.
And you guys called it.
It was the brand and Garrison game.
17 points set of seven of nine from the field at five rebounds,
two assist, two blocks, two steals in 26 minutes.
He was the Kentucky Wildcats plus minus champ at plus 11.
He is our rocker personal injury attorney, money maker of the game.
Garrison.
That's two games in a row.
Garrison's been the plus minus champ.
He wasn't gets Florida as well.
Never saw that coming.
Yeah.
We didn't even remind ourselves.
He did miss a wide open dunk.
I don't need to.
Yeah, but.
He said 18 points.
I know.
You got to give him a break.
This trip.
Our trip to the SEC tournament sponsored by Clayton and crew
and burnt tavern bourbon.
I'm going to tell you about Clayton and crew.
They have leather products that are amazing.
You know that, don't you?
I brought my great Clayton and crew and built with me this trip.
That's right.
They have a new store in Nashville, 12 South in Nashville,
bags belts, wallets.
They also have a custom belt bar.
You can go choose the strap you want, the buckle,
the style, the stitching, and the hardware.
They got one in Louisville or Clayton and crew.com.
I have a ton of Clayton and crew here and now they have a belt bar.
He bought us all Clayton and crew bags one year for Christmas.
That's what I, it's exactly right.
Let's do one more and we'll take a break.
Who's next, Bill?
David.
Go ahead, David.
So it's funny you guys were just talking about the substitution pattern
because that's what I was going to ask you about.
So one of those things I feel like doesn't get enough talk is that
hope is not afraid to check a guy in and then pull him right away.
He did that with Jasper.
He did that with Jasper tonight.
Yes.
Jasper checks in, calls his own number twice.
Takes him out.
Absolutely not.
But that's the only reason my OA and Aberdeen were only out for 40 seconds
is because he pulled Jasper back out.
But he was prepared, I think, to sit them together for longer.
And then for Yella, it's like let this guy play more than the first five minutes.
That was crazy.
That's my only substitution frustration with Mark.
Was he, Yelvich scores seven points in a row and he takes him out.
And then he didn't put him back in until the last four minutes of the first half.
But to be fair, Garrison was playing well.
And I think that's in part why he did that.
Yeah, let Yelvich cook at that point a little bit, don't you?
But he also, Yelvich gets killed on defense.
Yelvich was, Yelvich Chandler, we're just getting destroyed on defense tonight.
But go ahead.
I was just going to thank you guys for the proof that I was just going to say that
we didn't invite Mark Pope to our wedding.
He did not attend unfortunately.
Well, it's too bad.
Well, Hail Mary Lettingen vice.
Thanks, guys.
Appreciate it.
Yeah.
It's tough night for Chandler.
But the thing is, Chandler has to play regardless.
Yeah.
Because who are you going to put in?
Maybe now you can get Cam Williams a few more minutes as you go.
But he's going to have to play.
He has to play through him not playing well.
They don't really have a choice.
Just having him out there.
That threat of him out there opens up the defense a little bit for Aberdeen in a way.
You think we're done now with Cam seeing Noah for the rest of the year?
Probably.
I mean, if Noah didn't even get a minute today.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I mean, it looks like this wasn't a good game for him though.
I mean, I don't know who he would have guarded on that team.
True.
Maybe trying to remember what Missouri's like.
Got that Mitchell kid.
Yeah.
He can't guard him.
Yeah.
I don't know if he can be able to play the next leader.
Auburn's up nine now.
So I couldn't believe you told me.
Hubbard's Josh Hubbard's got another year.
How is that possible?
He's just a junior.
That is unbelievable.
We'll take a break and be right back.
It's a local Toyota dealers.
KSR post game show.
Welcome back.
It is Kentucky Sports Radio Final segment here on the road
with Clayton and Kurum and Bert Tavern Burbin.
Let me also explain to you what Bert Tavern is.
So Bert Tavern Burbin came from.
Is it Garrett County?
Garrett County.
And it's a tavern that was burned down twice.
Twice.
Twice.
Hence the Bert Tavern.
And they rebuilt it and made twice burned double barreled,
reborn with a whisper of smoke bourbon.
At burnttavernburbin.com and there's a set of stores there as well.
I haven't heard of it, but Shannon got it.
And Shannon, it's like his favorite bourbon now.
So it's in Garrett County.
Garrett County.
Shannon is their endorser.
They brought him a whole case of it at the Palm Miller Show the other day.
Shannon said it's really good.
Burnt Tavern.
One person writes Matt Billy.
Brandon Garrison has always had the athleticism.
I think that's what makes it frustrating.
He is a great athlete and he's got long arms.
And yeah.
Like I said, he can be very frustrating, but then you see a game like today.
And you can see why Pope has always been so intrigued with him.
I really think Pope loves Brandon Garrison.
I think he likes his person.
I do too.
I think he brand it works hard.
It's just sometimes I think he plays like a little middle school or sometimes.
Louisville's been losing this whole game and now they're up to looks like they might.
They go up to with the ball with 20 seconds to go.
Michael Brown's not playing in this.
You get hurt?
Well, he said they say as a sore back for this tournament and they're trying to get him ready for the NCAA tournament.
Let's see what they do right here.
I'm going to do my play by play.
This is Cromwell gets the basket and he makes the layup.
Louisville's probably going to survive against dancing you.
Who's up next?
Robert.
Robert.
Go ahead, Robert.
I said Cromwell.
Cromwell.
Go ahead.
But hey, Matt, first time a long time.
Who up?
Hey, first off, I love this time of the year.
I went to watch the game during work, looked over one of our senior leaders.
We're watching right in and we're both watching the game, kind of looked at each other and said,
yep, we're both the cats, even though we should be probably working today.
So, love this time of the year.
One thing I keep doing while I'm watching these games, I keep comparing Cal's teams to
Pope's teams and thinking, hey, these guys should be better than they are.
Am I crazy for thinking that way or is that kind of a normal thing?
If you're just talking raw talent, I think virtually every team Caliperi had has more raw talent than this one has.
So, I would say raw talent, this is kind of one of the more unta-
Well, athleticism, this team's got some, but in terms of basketball talent,
I would argue this was one of the last talented Kentucky teams in the last 15 or 16 years.
Now, with that said, you know, Aberdeen and Oway are great penetrators getting to the basket.
Chandler, at times, can be a great shooter.
You got a lot of big options, but no, I think he's, this team,
the problem for this team is they're just not running that talent.
I mean, how many guys on this team that play are going to get drafted?
I mean, potentially, potentially Moreno.
That might be it.
I mean, you know, and our best player, here's the way I would look at, who are our best players?
Always our best player, unlikely to get drafted if he does it'll be at the very end.
Aberdeen will not get drafted, right?
Chandler, as of today, wouldn't get drafted. That could change, but, you know, Diabate, not going to get drafted.
So, that's not been true of other teams.
And so that's, I do think it's, there is a talent issue here.
We had a serious talk in the middle of the season.
Is this team just not very good?
And I think a lot of it is they've got a lot of role players, six men type guys,
but maybe at times we'll have found a way to play really well.
Now, last year, we didn't have a lot of guys who were going to get drafted,
but the difference is they could shoot.
So on any given night shoot, they could get hot.
But they also, remember that team last year would lose by 30 sometimes, too.
I mean, so, on the one hand, you look at this team and go, they should have won more.
On the other hand, you could look at it and go, they could have won less.
How in the hell they beat Tennessee twice, you know, beat Arkansas and Arkansas.
So, I think they probably are about what they deserve to be.
Yeah.
Like, this is 20th win, by the way.
Six or seven seed going into the tournament.
Yeah.
Well, and that's disappointing.
But think about with five minutes to go down at LSU when we were down nine.
I told you, right now, you can be a six seed in the tournament.
I'm taking it.
You're taking it in a heartbeat because it looked like at that moment, we weren't even going to make the tournament.
Yeah, that's right.
Let's do four more.
Who's next building?
Lincoln.
Lincoln.
Go ahead, Lincoln.
How is Matt?
Yes, go ahead.
A little bit.
Um, first time won't come.
Who are?
Yeah, how long could it be?
You may disagree with this, but on that flagrant, I'm pretty sure it was on Marine.
Um, um, that was you guys who was trying to dunk on marinas.
Yes.
Um, and hit him in the eye.
I think, um, marinas really good, but he needs to get more, um, needs to get a little bit stronger.
I agree.
I totally agree with you, Lincoln.
He needs, he gets the ball taken from him too much.
I mean, he got hit in the eye there, so that's not really his fault.
But in terms of being stronger, I agree.
Marino's got to get stronger.
We were sitting here talking with these guys about marino coming back and how he might deserve up to $3 million.
Well, you got to get stronger, you know, I mean, I think he does, he's very, very talented, but I think he needs to get stronger.
You're right.
And, um, I can't believe the USA team lost.
Yeah.
Going back to, um, I don't know if you followed baseball or anything, but got cagolin, he played for Florida.
He hit a two round bomb.
Yeah, he's in the minors, I think now.
Well, Lincoln, I appreciate the call.
Let me ask you a question.
So tonight, Mexico plays here.
And for the USA to have, if, if Mexico, if Italy wins, the USA, they move on.
But if Mexico wins, the USA moves on if they win by five or more, and it's the USA and Mexico.
So why wouldn't Italy and Mexico agree?
Mexico, we're going to let you win.
But by between one to four runs, because then we'll knock the USA out.
Because then Mexico and Italy would go.
So Italy's incentive would be to lose to it.
Well, if Italy wins, they're in, but the USA comes to.
But if you wanted to get the USA out, you would say Mexico, you win, but don't score them more than five runs.
Why wouldn't you do that if you were Mexico and Italy?
Well, I think just conspire to get the USA out because they're the best team.
I think in the spirit of true sportsmanship, you don't want to do that.
What would you do? You cheat all the time.
I never cheat.
I would go and be playing my butt off.
I'd want to win.
I'd want to win by as many runs as I could.
But if you're Mexico and you're up for nothing.
And you know if you score one more run, the USA comes with you.
Would you just strike out?
You're up to bat.
All right, it's for nothing against Italy.
One more run, the USA moves on with you.
But if you don't score again, then it's Italy that moves on with you.
Are you striking out?
I'm swinging and I'm hitting the home run.
They're not going to strike me out.
And then what are you going to do in the USA beat you in the next round?
They're not going to beat me in the next round.
We're going to beat them.
We're good. We're good Mexican team.
That should be a drop right there.
We are a good Mexican team.
All right, who's next?
Remember that we're having in the NFL, Matt, the Raiders and Chargers.
If they would have tied, they both would have won.
Yeah, they tied.
That's right.
And then they played for the field goal and overtime.
The many years ago, Tom Lossborn, I think in Nebraska,
if they had played for a tie, would have been the national champion.
And he went for it and they lost in the bowl game.
Wow.
I respect that.
He went for two.
And if he kicked the extra point or something like that and he went for it and they ended up losing
and he didn't lose the national championship.
You don't want to give it back door into something like that.
I think I would really strike out if I was there.
I would strike out because Italy, you got a much better chance against.
Who's next?
Jackson.
Jackson, go ahead, Jackson.
Hey, Matt, my mom let me stay home from school today to watch the game.
What a great mom.
I wonder how many teachers out there in the state, just saying it, Jackson.
How many teachers out there in the state you think let their class watch the game today?
Roll that creating with the TV on top of it.
Coming down the hallway.
Do you think there's a lot of teachers that did that to them?
Absolutely.
Some people are on spring break.
I know.
Well, colleges are.
High schools are.
High schools are not on spring break yet.
Yeah.
I guarantee there would be a lot of, especially like those coaches that are teaching class.
They're not going to teach you guys.
They're going to watch the ball game all day today.
Yeah.
Alright, go ahead, Jackson.
Um, but she said that I'm not allowed to stay home tomorrow.
I was wondering if you guys could convince her to let me stay home tomorrow.
Is your mom there?
Is she there?
Uh, I can have your doctor if you want to.
Yeah, put your mom on the phone for just a second.
This is going to be good.
Mom, wait till you hear my, wait till you hear my prayers.
Mom, I'm persuasion.
Matt Jones has to talk to you.
Oh, I don't know.
Mom doesn't know.
She convinced you to convince you to let me stay home tomorrow.
Hello.
Hi there.
What's your name, ma'am?
My name's Emily Krebs.
Emily.
Okay.
So your son is Jackson.
Do you let him stay home today to watch the game?
I, well, I went and picked him up.
He went for half a day at least.
Okay.
So what do I have to do to convince you to let him do a half day tomorrow?
Tomorrow's a big game.
Okay.
It's Missouri.
They beat us earlier in the year.
The entire state's listening and they want Jackson to be able to watch the game.
And so do I.
So what do I need to do to just a second half day for Jackson?
You know, if you could write the school excuse now.
I will.
I will write the school excuse note tonight.
Okay.
You give your email to Billy and we will send you an excuse note from KSR to give to his school.
Okay.
Well, then I will consider.
And then if he doesn't know, I'm a consider, you have to say yes.
The whole state is listening.
Don't let them down.
Oh, but I can't go pick him up early tomorrow.
I will be getting maneuver.
You don't have to stay home the whole day.
Oh, he's got well, even better, right?
Ryan, he gets the whole day off.
He can listen to the KSR in the morning and then watch basketball all day long,
which is much better than going to English class.
All right.
And I promise you, if you do that, Jackson will help you.
We'll clean the house this weekend.
Oh, in that case, he is more than welcome to stay.
All right.
There you go.
All right.
Now put Jackson back on.
Okay.
Here he is.
Did it work?
Jackson, I've convinced her, but I said you would clean the house this weekend.
Are you going to do that?
Oh, I'll do it.
All right.
There we go.
Jackson will be home tomorrow.
I expect to hear you on the post game show.
All right.
I'll do it.
All right.
There we go.
Jackson gets to stay home from school.
I hope he hugs you.
No, you don't think I'd be a good parent.
Mario.
We were strongly encouraging Hookie.
So we are good parents.
Exactly.
But I remember, I still remember in two, excuse me, in 1992,
when Kentucky made the NCAA tournament for the first time in many years when we lost to Duke.
We remember we hadn't played in the NCAA tournament in years.
The first round Kentucky played.
Who did they play in the first round in 1992?
I want to say, I don't think it was Monmouth, but it was Ryder.
No, that was 93.
Billy, look up who we played in the first second round.
Old Dominion maybe?
Either way, we watched it in our school.
Yeah.
And I still remember sitting there and watching that game.
And I guess that would have been, I was in eighth grade.
And how exciting it was.
So that's going to be more than what he's going to remember in school.
One of my greatest memories of going into classroom and middle schools and wheeling that TV
and we could all watch the basketball games all day.
It was part of the same thing.
I got to think of who it was.
Billy, look it up.
I want to say Old Dominion.
I might be right.
92, 93 was Ryder in the first round.
That's Ryder, but that was the next year.
91, 92.
See who we played in the first round.
You look it up while we take it.
Okay.
I said Ryder.
Yes.
About 93.
But the year before, go ahead.
Who's up next?
Jacob.
Hey guys.
Good game today.
We didn't play great.
I feel like against Missouri, we're definitely going to get back on defense a lot quicker than we did today.
Yes, I agree.
In the officiating, I didn't, I didn't hate it.
It wasn't as bad as some of our games.
But I feel like whenever they call those techs, it just took the air out of the ball for us.
I mean, you could see, especially the Mo tech, you know, I don't, I don't know if that played.
But I feel like it slowed us down.
But I do have a question.
If we be Missouri, Florida, and we go all the way, what is, what would you think our seed would be in the NCAA tournament?
You mean if we won the whole SEC tournament?
It would be one of the whole thing.
Yeah.
Well, I mean, Seth Davis says otherwise, but they don't consider the championship game in the seating.
I would say if you won the whole thing, you definitely are five.
Maybe you could get to a four, but I would just say a five.
I think they probably won't consider the championship game either way.
So I'd say that if you get to the finals, you'd probably be a five seat.
Awesome.
Appreciate the call.
Thank you very much.
Who do we play in 92?
Oh, Dominion.
Damn.
Oh, wow.
How did you remember that?
How'd you pull that out?
Old Dominion and pulled out Ryder the next year.
That's amazing.
I cared about UK basketball way too much at that age.
You had all your brackets?
I did.
And I remember schools based on who we played.
Like I remembered in 2010.
We opened up with East Tennessee State.
We've played Eastern Kentucky in the first round of the tournament before.
Yes.
We've played Abilene Christian in the first round of the tournament before.
We've played Troy last year.
I think we played.
We played.
What was the school that had the got Mount St. Mary's?
We played them one year.
Played a team called St. Peter's in the first round.
Yeah, I'll never forget St. Peter's.
But we played Mount St. Mary's once.
They had the guy with the bow tie who had the most wins in the history of college.
Matt Whalen.
Feeling.
Feeling.
That's right.
Feeling.
All right.
We'll stop with old man memories.
One more.
Who's next?
Michael.
Gentlemen, it is a good day to be a Kentucky Wildcats fan.
Don't you think?
Stony Brook.
We played them once too.
Yes, it is.
Go ahead.
Oh, man.
I don't really don't know where I'll say.
I'll be real quick.
Dude, when Brandon Garrison hit that second three.
I don't know if you all saw, but it cut to Mark Pope's face.
And dude.
He looks like a father.
He's like a proud father seeing his son hit the game winning three.
He was just sitting there.
He was like 18.
This is what I do.
He did.
All right.
That is what he did.
Like, that's a good call.
But man.
Oh, dude.
I ain't even going to lie.
What do you get that second three?
I was literally running around my living room screaming.
Dude.
That's what Mario was doing here today because we're going to need it.
Dude, I know I saw the video.
I saw you already acting on video.
That was funny.
And you called the phrase.
You called the Miss Frito.
That was funny too.
I knew he was going to miss that.
To go to 10 points.
Dude.
I don't care.
Look.
I don't care what anybody says about you, Matt Jones.
You know this team more than I don't care.
You know when they're going to miss something.
You know when they're going to hit it.
You're good at calling it.
It's kind of funny.
All right.
Well, I appreciate it.
With that being said, I'm going to get off here.
I'm going to get off here and let you all have a rest of your good day.
Take a shot of bourbon for me because I'm out in Washington state.
Appreciate it.
But I'm bourbon.
Well, I'll have Tall and Ryan and Mario take one for you.
Appreciate the call.
Thank you all very much.
Thank you guys.
Oh, hello there.
I didn't see you all back there.
Thank you very much for coming.
We didn't even tell people we were here.
And you found this.
There you go.
Thanks to the met.

And at some point, we will ride a bull.
I don't know if that'll be tomorrow or Friday.
Probably not to move back later in the week in case I get hurt.
I did a really serious question.
Okay.
What are you going to wear when you ride the bull?
Cowboy hats.
Well, the cowboy hats.
They don't come off on it.
I don't want to get it damaged.
How do you know?
You don't know, Mario.
You've never been on a bull.
We'll figure it out.
We'll see you later.
Enjoy your rest of your evening.
This has been the local Toyota dealers KSR post game show.
This is Chelsea, handler from Dear Chelsea.
After the big game, like most people,
I kept thinking about the commercials.
And there was one that stayed with me.
It was from the Blue Square Alliance against hate.
And it wasn't loud or flashy.
It showed a Jewish kid being targeted at school.
And another student who chose not to ignore it.
As someone who was Jewish, that moment felt very real to me.
Not dramatic, just familiar.
And what struck me was how clearly it showed
that hate doesn't always announce itself.
But the impact is still huge.
If you saw the Blue Square spot during the big game,
it's worth thinking about.
And if you want to show support,
sharing the Blue Square is one small way to do that.
